Double exposures

February 27th, 2013

Scan-120806-0004

Here is the result of some months of fooling around with in-camera double exposures.
I made the images with a Holga 35mm camera and processed the scanned negatives for black/whiteconversion in lightroom.
I used fuji velvia 100 and cross-processed the slidefilm for saturated color and coarser grain, but ultimately found that it was a stronger series in monochrome.

A series to be continued fur sure.

Curls and Waves

Exploring the macro world of curled paperstrands …

Last week I was sent to Antwerp sportpaleis.
The mission: to provide technical and backstage coverage of the Night of the Proms (NOTP), a yearly returning large concert by PRG EML productions. Another part of the brief was t
o follow and document a group of sennheiser invitees making a backstage and onstage visit, with a focus on the abundant wireless sennheiser material used on the production.
For this particular brief they were looking for an experienc
ed photographer who had to have extensive technical knowledge and was in tune with the particularities of a production this size.
Because of my professional background as a light and stage tech and my phototechnical knowledge neccessary to tackle such a venue, where lighting conditions are far from easy, the results are very satisfatory for all involved.
