Chittagong is the commerce and industry city in Bangladesh. It stands on the banks of the Karnaphuli River. It is the busiest seaport and second largest city in Bangladesh and it has been a seaport since ancient time. Over 5.5 million populations live in this city, male 54.36% and female 45.64%. Muslims (83.92%), Hindus (13.76%), Buddhism (2.01%) and Christians (0.11%) and others 0.2% live in this city. 15276 people live in per square km. Now a day Chittagong is one of the fastest growing cities all over the world. Islamic preacher Hazrat Badar Aawlia arrived in this city from the seas and chose the pahar name Cheragi Pahar for vantage point to spread the message of Islam among the locals more than six hundred years ago. The Chittagong city areas are divided into two part
1. wards and
2. mahallas
Under the jurisdiction of the Chittagong City Corporation.
The Chittagong Development Authority makes and implements Master Plan for city development and they are primarily responsible for framing and implementing.

From early times, Chittagong attracted people from various regions of the world. The origins of the people of the city are diverse many kinds of multi-ethnic. There are many kinds of people live here such as Tibeto-Burman, Arab, Afghan, Mughal origin, Chakma tribe. Portuguese settlers are also live here. Urban people are involved in the import-export many things from one country to another country.
In this city men’s common dress are Lungi or dhoti and women’s is saree. Rice and fish is the staple food and seafood is quite popular food of them.

Gourds, pumpkins, various legumes are common vegetable of there and they also eat jack fruits, ice-apples, coconuts, bananas, custard apple, etc.

In Chittagong, there are many mosques, shrines, dargah, buildings and other masonry. In this city most of the buildings are built on top of low hills and hillocks and also the valleys and plains. The sea-borne exports many things such as ready made garments, knitwear, frozen food, jute and jute products, leather and leather products, tea, and chemical products and they trade boats, bringing chiefly cotton, rice, spices, sugar and tobacco.
There are many kinds of newspaper such as daily newspapers, opposition newspaper, business newspapers which based in Chittagong. There are many attractive place such as Chittagong Hill Tracts, Patenga beach, Foy's Lake, Heritage Park, Chittagong Ethnological Museum, World War II cemetery and Zia Memorial Museum and so on.

Comilla is located Dhaka-Chittagong Highway and it is also stands south-eastern Bangladesh. In this city 166,519 people live. Its total area is 11.47 square kilometers. Burchiganj and Tripura on the north, Laksham and Chauddagram on the south, and Barura on the west are arounded this city. Gumti and Little Feni pass through Comilla. For going eastern part of Bangladesh Comilla is a hub of road communication of this. Bi-communication system of Comilla is so much good and it has also one of the oldest highways of the Indian Sub-continent. We can go to comilla by road or railway. Comilla is far 97 kilometers away from the capital city of Dhaka. But for little distance we can use rickshaw. In Comilla, most of the people are educated. The educated people of this city have great contributions in every sector of the country. Faridpur is a part of the Dhaka Division and it is situated on the banks of the Padma other smaller rivers include Old Kumar, Arial khan, Gorai, Chandana, Bhubanshwar and Modhumoti river. In 1840 the Faridpur Zila School was established which is one of the oldest schools in modern day Bangladesh. In this district Muslim and Hindu are live but major religions are Islam. In this district 88% of people are Muslims and 11% Hindu. There is also some Bihari and Oriya population. It is 20.23 km and consists of 9 upazilas, 4 municipalities, 79 union parishads, 36 wards, 92 mahallas and 1859 villages. The district is mainly agriculture -based country. Most of the farmer grows jute, paddy, blackberry, peanut, wheat, oilseed, pulse, turmeric, onion, garlic and other. Many fruits are also produced, notably, jack fruit, mango, palm, coconut, betel nut, kul, tetul, bel, papaya, banana, and guava. They export jute, Helsa fish and sugarcane.

The Jackfruit is one kind of fruit, which is very popular in the world especially on Southeast Asia. It is also the national fruit of Bangladesh. Jackfruit also known as Jakfruit, Jaca and Nangka in the many parts of the world. The Jacckfruit tree looks like very nice and straight and many farming animal likes its leaf. This tree is widely cultivated in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The word “Jackfruit” comes from Portuguese “jaca”. The leaves of Jackfruit trees are oblong, oval, or elliptic
in form, 4 to 6 inches in length, leathery, glossy, and deep green in color. Juvenile leaves are lobed and the male and female flowers of Jackfruit trees are born in separate flower heads. In a single fruit, there are up to 100 – 500 seeds in it. The seed is 3/4 to 1-1/2 inches long and 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick and is white and crisp within. Ripe jackfruit is naturally yellow and it is edible bulbs of yellow, banana-flavored flesh that encloses a smooth. But the young fruit is naturally green and it is so strong then ripe fruit. Besides this, it is so much tasteful fruit in various recipes.

Elish, is a popular fish to eat among the people of the Indian sub-continent, Bengalis, Oriyas, West Bengal, Orissa, Tripura and Assam. It is the national fish of Bangladesh. Elish also can be found in India's Assamese-, Bengali-, Oriya- and Telugu and in Pakistan's Sindh province. A large number of fish are caught in the Padma-Meghna-Jamuna delta each year. It is a sea fish but it laid eggs in large rivers. When they become young, swim back to the sea, fisherman caught them. Elish is also caught from the sea. The fish in coastal area of
Gujarat is known as Modenn if it is female and Palva if it is young male.

In Bangladesh, Elish is mainly caught in the Padma, Meghna, and Godavari rivers. The elish of Padma are considered to be the best in taste. In India, the Rupnarayan, Ganges, Mahanadi, Chilka Lake and Godavari rivers are famous for their tasty breeds. Elish is also found in the deltaic region of southern Pakistan, in the province of Sindh. Here it is commonly referred to as the Palla fish. The fish was usually found in abundant quantities in the district of Thatta. Recently, however, the lower reaches of the Indus have dried up as water is stored upstream, and the Palla cannot make its journey into the river any more.

In Bengal, elish prepares with mustard seed paste, curd, Begun, different condiments like jira and so on. In Bengal, Elish can be smoked, fried, steamed, baked in young plantain leaves.
Especially in Bengali cuisine, In North America is sometimes used as a Elish substitute.

Cox's Bazar is a town, a fishing port and district headquarters in Bangladesh. It is the longest natural sandy sea beach in the world. Today, Cox's Bazar is one of the most-visited tourist places in Bangladesh. In 1869 Cox's Bazar municipality was constituted and was in 1959 it turn into a town committee. In 1972 the town committee was replaced by municipality and it was elevated to B-grade in 1989 again.

Cox's Bazar having been a great tourist resort various establishments have developed in the town including 6
big hotels, 30 medium hotels, 50 semi-medium hotels, Jhinuk market for the tourists and the Burmese market dealing in luxury goods from Burma, Thailand and China. Cox's Bazar Town is a very big port and health resort.

The climate of Bangladesh is mostly determined by its location in the tropical monsoon region: high temperature, heavy rainfall, often excessive humidity, and distinct seasonal variations. The reversal of the wind circulation between summer and winter is another important feature of the climate of the country. The climate of Cox's bazar is mostly similar to the rest of the country. The annual average temperature in Cox's Bazar remains at about a maximum of 34.8 °C and a minimum of 16.1 °C. The average amount of rainfall remains at 4,285 mm.

The major source of economy in Cox's Bazar is tourism. Millions of foreigners and Bangladeshi natives visit this coastal city every year. As a result, a large number of hotels, guest houses and motels have been built in the city and coastal area. A number of people are involved in fishing and collecting seafood and sea products for their livelihood.

A number of people are also involved in the transportation business for these tourists. Beside a mix of small-scale agriculture, marine and inland fishing and salt production are other industrial sources from this area. These people play important roles in the national economy.

The beach is the main attraction of this town. Ramu is a village which about 10 km from Cox’s Bazar. The village is so much famous for its handicrafts and homemade things. There are monasteries, khyangs and pagodas which are made of Buddha in gold, bronze and other metals inlaid with precious stones.

Dulahazara Safari Park is an extension of an animal sanctuary which is located along the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar road about 50 km from Cox's Bazar town. In the safari park there are many domesticated elephants. the tourist become so much attracting to see Bengal tigers, Crocodiles, Bears, Chitals and lots of different types of birds and monkeys and other animals. Maheshkhali is a small island of Cox’s Bazar.

Sonadia Island is 9 square kilometers island and it is 7-km north-west of Cox's Bazar. Fishermen set up temporary camps on the island and dry their catches of sea fish in the season of winter.

UNICF has set 10 principles. “Educate every child” has topped the list of their 10 principled. The nine other principled are leave no child out, put children first, care for every child, fight HIV/ AIDS, stop harming and exploiting children, listen to children, protect children from war, protect the earth for children, fight poverty; invest in children. Children are being
exploited and abused all over the world. Child repression is increasing at an alarming rate. Violence and exploitation of children have led UNICF to raise a strong voice. Protection of children has finally made its way on to the global agenda. Poverty leads the children to work. There are five categories of poverty that influence child labour. These are economic poverty, geographical; poverty, social poverty, cultural poverty and political poverty, natural disasters, rapid growth of population, lack of child care facilities and war contribute to the growth of child labour. The campaign ‘Say yes for children’ has gained political and popular support in Bangladesh; in Bangladesh three calls have received the top most priorities. These are educating every child, stop harming and exploiting children, and care for every child. The government is determined to root out violence and exploitation of children, it has also upheld strict policy to make sure that criminal activities against children are curbed

According to a review of studies, we can see that taller women have a slightly higher risk of ovarian cancer. International researchers say that there is a risk factor among women who have never taken HRT. In the past had some suggested a link, but there had conflicting evidence. In recent we can see the data of PLOS Medicine that in 14 countries, about 25,000 women with ovarian cancer and more than 80,000 women without ovarian cancer. Prof Valerie Beal of the Oxford University Epidemiology Unit told the BBC: "By
bringing together the worldwide evidence, it became clear that height is a risk factor." She also clear said that those women will be suffer, who had never taken HRT because there was a clear relationship between obesity and ovarian cancer. She also added "Ovarian cancer can clearly be added to the list of cancers linked to obesity,"

Sarah Williams (the officer of health information at Cancer Research UK) said that body size was important for woman's risk of developing ovarian cancer.

She also said, "Women can reduce their risk of this and many other diseases by keeping to a healthy weight,"

"For women trying to lose weight, the best method is to eat healthily, eat smaller amounts and be more physically active."

But now days the reader in cancer epidemiology at the University of Cambridge name Dr Paul Pharaoh said that the increase in risk was small.

"If we compare a woman who is 5ft tall with a woman who is 5ft 6in tall, there is a relative difference in ovarian cancer risk of 23%.

"But the absolute risk difference is small. The shorter woman will have a lifetime risk of about 16-in-a-1000 which increases to 20-in-a-1000 for the taller woman.

"A similar difference in absolute risk would be seen when comparing a slim woman with a body mass index of 20 to a slightly overweight woman with a body mass index of 30."

"What's in it: Your sunscreen is made up of chemical blockers like oxybenzone, avobenzone, and sulisobenzone.

Where does not it to do: The next time you shop for sun protection, Dr. Sidhu also says, "Avoid products with ingredients such as Para- aminobenzoic acid and parabens." These chemicals can cause redness, itchiness and other skin problems.

Do you know, what is sunblock? Dr. Sidhu says, "They provide protection against both ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays. They act by reflecting UV radiation before it touches the skin. These are also referred to as physical sunscreens. These tend to be greasy and thick on application, but cause very few allergic reactions."

What's in it: The ingredients to look for in your sunblock are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which are physical blockers

What you need: Dr. Sidhu also explains, "Look for products that mention Broad Spectrum (protects against UVA and UVB rays), water resistant sunscreen, with an SPF of at least 15. This should be used all year round on exposed skin. For fair skinned individuals with light colored hair it is preferable to apply sunscreen with a higher SPF."

This Strike is one of the strong hold o vicious circle. The poor people are to revolve round this vicious circle of poverty. There are the owners and the workers in mills and factories, in case of manifold problems and pressures the owners become
merciless towards the workers. Workers start to demand more in the face of greater necessity, the owners start not to listen to the limitless demand of the workers, the owners of these mills, factories and industries naturally are richer, workers and laborers being deprived of their dues, have resort to Strike to press home their demand. Consequently, a clash between the workers and owners crop up. Some people in Bangladesh are trying to create troubles and dislocation in the government and that is why they are trying to use this good weapon of strike
With an evil purpose, today the necessity of strike
Is not providing that much in the country. No doubt, in a democratic country right, but there must be some reasons. Without strong reasons or by making superfluous reasons to call strike t serve ones own interest is never desirable. A simple days strike causes huge losses for this poor country, many strikes we have come across, it is high time, we gave up the culture of calling strike for trifling or no reason. In Bangladesh, the incidents of acid throwing had increased at an alarming rate. In the past became almost a regular feature, generally acid was a corrosive substance; it can burn holes in wood and corrode metals. It has various applications such as; primarily industrial. It is used in making medicines, ornaments etc. Some notorious people use acid to fulfill their evil desires, they use it to burn the beautiful skin of innocent women. If they fail in love affair they become revengeful. Some throw acid if they fail to extract dowry from their wives the impacts of
acid throwing are really horrible. Acid throwing causes of irreparable loss to the victims. The victims have to undergo intolerable physical. Mental and social sufferings, they have to live with disfigured body and appearance. Sometimes it is worse than death, many survivors lose their sight. Social isolation and fear become their companions. It is not easy to fathom the miserable state of these women. The law enforcing agencies can play vital role in curbing acid violence. They must ensure strict vigilance. The culprit must be arrested immediately. It is delayed, the actual criminals may not be arrested. Prompt justice must be ensured. Life imprisonment or hanging should be the punishment. The government must imposer strict prohibition on selling acid; without pro0per proscription nobody should be allowed to buy acid. Government must ensure protection of survivors and should raise awareness in community and society.

About 50% of the population of the world is women are women. Until recently, the main occupation of women of our country was house keeping. The socio economic condition of our women should be improve and made much better; of course, they are participating in various kinds of works like administration, engaged in political, social, cultural works and so on. The crying issues for women are the lack of social security and dignity. They are still being repressed for dowry. Lack of congenial working environment is also a crying issue for them. Smoking is the habit of burning something made of tobacco and inhaling its smoke. It is one of the most harmful and dangerous bad habits of man. Man gets addicted to smoking through evil company, out of curiosity or frustration. One puff of cigarette smoke contains fifteen billion particles of different injurious matters like nicotine, methyl alcohol. Carbon monoxide etc. nicotine obstructs the normal flow of blood and reduces the supply of oxygen in the body. Thus the smokers suffer from high blood pressure and heart attack. Benzophyrine and
arsenic cause a fatal disease called cancer. Eighty percent of the lung cancer is caused by smoking. These are fatal diseases. So smoking is akin to committing suicide. In modern society a smoker is disliked by all. Its bad odor is also unbearable. A person who does not smoke but remains with him is also vulnerable to the above deadly diseases.

Nowadays sound pollution is one of the worst forms of pollution hazards. Sound pollution has some important causes. It is caused by high pitched sound, Continuous blaring of sound or sudden shirking sound. The effect of this pollution is danger for us. They often lead to deafness, mental imbalance and even heart failure. There are many factors that cause sound pollution. Indiscriminate use of microphones, shrill electric horns of motor vehicles. Sounds made by buses, trucks, aeroplanes, various fireworks and slogan shouting. For heavy sound
pollution some student cannot read attentively, the patient of hospital feel uneasy and the workers cannot hair smoothly. The sounds made by mikes, cassettes etc, are really intolerable. In the development country use many tools to remove sound pollution in their country. In development country, which home, hospital, school is situated near the airport, factories and mills and so on, they use sound removal tools to less sound. Our government should take some proper step to less sound pollution in our country. Our government also should do some law that driver cannot do create sound pollution near school, mosque, hospital and so on. People must be made aware of the dangers of sound pollution. Nowadays air pollution is one of the most important topics in our life. Man cannot live a single moment without air, but we are polluting air in many ways. Generally, People create smoke and smoke pollutes air. The most serious air pollution occurs in big cities where there are many vehicles, industries, etc are creating smoke continuously. Mills and factories use coal and oil. These things produce heavy smoke and this smoke pollutes air. Railway engines, buses, trucks, cars other vehicles are plying through on the streets everyday which make

Like arsenic pollution water pollution is very dangerous. Water is an important element of our human environment. It is essential for all men, animals and plants. We can not live a day without water. Pure ware is good for health. But polluted water is harmful for all men, animals and plants. We use water for bathing, washing, and other. But it can be polluted in many ways. Arsenic is a poison which is mixed with tube well water and pollutes it. Not only have that, men pollute water by throwing wastes into rivers, ponds, sea, canals etc. Farmers
use chemical fertilizer in their fields to grow more crops. They also use poisonous chemicals to kill the insects. Village people bath their cow, goat and other animal in the water of ponds. Village women wash their dishes into the river, ponds and canal wash their clothes into the river which pullulated the river water. Rains and floods wash them away and mix them with water of rivers, canals and ponds, sea. All these cause water pollution. Mills and factories also pollute water by throwing waste materials and oil into rivers, canals, sea etc. Steamers, launches and even sail boats throw oil, food waste and human waste into rivers and thus water is being polluted. Sometimes some street people make some unsanitary Latinas on the river which also pollute water. Human waste and filth falling into rivers through drains pollute water, by drinkin polluted water we may become sick, to ensure our good heath we must prevent water poll. In this respect we should make the people aware of its bad effects and control all things and ways that cause water pollution.

The Olympic Games were named after the town of Olympia in Greece. It was in Olympia that the games were first held long before the Christian era began. In those days Greece was divided into many city states, and men of different city states used to fight one another most of the time. A man named Iphitos became concerned about such wasteful strafes. He hit upon a plan. He invited the best athletes from the nearby cities to the valley of Olympia to take part in athletic contests. Iphitos’s plan worked well. For a time the Greek warriors, instead of
fighting their neighbors, tried to outdo their rivals in friendly games and sports. At first contests included running and leaping, boxing and dwelling and throwing discus and javelin, later contests with hordes were included. In 394 A.D. the roman Emperor stopped the games. For 1500 years no games were held. Towards the end of the 19th century a Frenchman called Baron Pierre de Coubertin suggested that the ancient Olympic Games should be revived. They would be held as a contest not merely among nation

of the world. He and his supporters tried for years to hold the games. At last they succeeded and the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 in Athens, the capital city of Greece because the original site at Olympia was no longer suitable.

An American shipping Co. Launched the great ship Titanic in 1912. It was the biggest and the most luxurious ship of that time, the weight of the ship was 460000 Tons. It had carrying capacity of 2200 passengers. At that time, however, she was not only the largest ship that had been ever built, but also regarded as unsinkable, for she had sixteen watertight compartments, the owner of the ship
was boastful of it. The Titanic made her fist voyage from Southampton to New York on 10 April, 1912.She was carrying 1316 passengers and a crew of 891. All the passengers ware in happy mood and enjoying themselves. The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loss of life. Four days after setting out while the Titanic was sailing across the icy water of the North Atlantic, a huge iceberg was suddenly spotted by a look out. After the alarm had been given the great ship turned sharply to avoid a collision. Suddenly there was Slight trembling sound from below and the captain went down to see what had happened. The noise had been so faint that no one thought that the ship had been damaged below. The captain realized to his horror that the Titanic was sinking rapidly, for five of the sixteen watertight compartments had already been flooded. This terrible disaster happened on the 15 April. A committee of inquiry was formed in 1913. After the inquiry they drew up many new rules for ocean journey.

In the 21st century one of the greatest problems is pollution. For pollution our environment becomes damage
and damage. Air, water, sound and other are elements of environment are polluted moment and moment. These elements are being polluted in many ways. In cities and towns air is constantly being polluted by smoke from mills, factories and monoxide gases emitted by motor vehicles and other reason. Men create smoke by burning fire wood for cooking, burning brick and melting pitch for road constriction. Besides, trash and indiscriminate discharge of human waste pollute Air. Water is an important element. We cannot live a day without water. But this water is polluted in many ways. The river and sea water is polluted by waste, chemicals and other poison of mills and factories. Oil tankers often clean out their tank in the sea and power house release hot water into the river which kills fish and plants of river and sea. The surface of the earth both in towns and rural areas is being polluted garbage. It creates bad oduor which pollutes environment. It is harmful for human being. There is another factor that makes pollution and that is sound. We have sound from motor vehicles, aeroplanes, mills, factories, domestic appliances, radio, television, VCR, cassette player and so on. The sound made by these things pollutes our environment. For sound pollution our student cannot read attentively and most of the people who work in mills and factories, they become unable to hair. This pollution so much affects our hearing and nerves. The airs we breathe, the water we drink, the food we take are not absolutely good for health. In industrial areas the workers become sick. Sometimes sickness is so serous that it cannot be cured. Polluted water causes diarrhea and typhoid etc.
