If you have been wondering why Ogopa signed artiste Kenzo has been silent all this time, wonder no more. The Ogopa signed artiste exclusively revealed to Spicy Bizz that he has been busy upgrading his music career on an online programme at the Berklee music College. “I have been busy for the past six months studying online on how to play the guitar and improve on my vocals. This also gave my music writing skills a professional touch” he said.According to Kenzo he is now a Level 3 qualified musician who will also be writing songs for fellow artistes.He joins the likes of Eric Wainaina who also passed through the London based music school.

In other news the musician has also released a new song, Jiachilie, which has a unique dance hall touch having featured MC Fullstop of Supremacy sounds. Kenzo is famed for other songs like Mama Milka and Zamzam.

Coast based singer Nyota Ndogo is proving that she can live off her music as she is now building her own house in Voi. According to Nyota, who currently resides on a rented apartment, the three bed roomed bungalow is big enough to accommodate her son and yet to be born baby. The house which stands on approximately half an acre piece of land is on its last stages as she is just about to roof it. “I did this just to prove to all the people out there that as long as one invests well in music they can do great things” the Baraka Fm presenter told word is. Afro fusion artiste Ohanglaman Makadem is headed for a Europe tour courtesy of The Danish Centre for Culture and Development (DCCD).The organization promotes cultural co-operation between Denmark and developing countries. The artiste who is famed for his sterling performance on stage and kalimba playing skills will be on a one month tour in various countries in Europe alongside AL Agami, Eliel Lazo and the Songa Beat all from Denmark. “I am very excited abut this tour as it will put my on the international map” he excitedly told GOSSIP GAL. Kenyan Big brother representative Sheila Kwamboka is back in the country. Speaking at a press conference at Sankara Restaurant in Westlands Sheila, who looked a bit worn out due to lack of enough rest, spoke about her controversial relationship with fellow housemates Uti, Meryl and Hannington.

“Uti and I have been close as I went through so many stages of his life while we were at the house especially when he lost his father. However we need to discuss several things before I can finally declare my future with him. Right now there is nothing completely concrete, but you will know in due course,” she said. Multi talented entertainer Loyiso Gola has been announced as the host of the 2010 Channel O Music Video Awards. Friends and former colleagues of Father John Anthony Kaiser, from the Mill hill missionaries, are not pleased with the just premiered rugged priest film as they claim it was a bit exaggerated. The missionaries felt that the film director should have at least followed the exact Kaiser lifestyle.
Father John Kaiser is the US priest who died under mysterious accounts ten years ago after he testified in the Akiwumi Commission in 1998; a commission set up by the then President Daniel Arap Moi and the case surrounding the circumstances under which he died has since then hit a dead end as it has not yet been revealed to the public the exact cause of his death. The film featuring Collin Simpson, who also featured on the Constant gardener, is directed by Bob Nyanja of Cinematic solutions and also director of another hyped movie, Malooned. The film premiered at the Nakumatt Junction in presence of the Vice president, Kalonzo Musyoka and minister for information and communications Samuel Poghisio who had also attended the unveiling of the 5th Kenya International Film Festival which is meant to promote the Kenyan film industry by giving local and regional film makers a platform to premier their films to both local and international audience.

Festival of African Fashion and Arts will host their 3^rd annual fashion for peace gala evening on October 30^th 2010. The high-end fashion show and gala dinner will be held in the Nairobi National Park and will feature high profiled Kenyan Supermodel Ajuma Naisenya who lives in London.

NTV to Air Tusker Project Fame

NTV will be exclusively airing this year's Tusker Project Fame reality show, according to very close sources. This is a take over from Royal Media's Citizen TV which aired the second and third TPF exclusively. However it is not the first time the station is to air the show, it did the first TPF only during the second season, they chose to air the Zain University Challenge over TPF.

Tusker Project Fame is a musical reality show that hosts new talent from the East African countries in a house with music professionals, teachers and the winner bags a record deal and a heavy cash prize.

Bomb may affect MAMA’s

A week ago Gossip Gal reported that the MTV Africa Music Awards would be held in Kampala but now it seems that won’t happen. This comes after Sunday night's bomb blast, that killed 65 people in Uganda's capital, Kampala. The organizers argue that since the blast took place in entertainment areas this would be a huge risk for the MTV fans. Unfortunately Tanzania cannot host the event since they don’t have a suitable venue.

Word has it that the third edition of MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) will be held in Kampala,Uganda this year. Gossip Gal also found out that there is a possibility that the event might be delayed to December this year, instead of the normal October shows.Uganda is cited as one of the strongest markets for Zain, a mobile service provider which is the main sponsor, closely following Kenya and Nigeria.

The event was held in Kenya last year and it was hosted by Akon and Wyclef Jean at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

The most anticipated Gramps Morgan show went down as expected apart from a few surprises. Two artistes who had been said would be performing alongside him did not even make a technical appearance at the venue. According to our sources the two did not make it to the country as Lady G is said to have missed her flight together with another Jamaican MC. Lindsay Lohans life on hold

Popupular actress Lindsay Lohans life now hold as she was sentenced Tuesday to 90 days in jail and 90 days in a residential substance-abuse program for violating her probation stemming from two separate 2007 cases of driving under the influence of cocaine and alcohol. She is to surrender and begin her jail sentence July 20. Rehab will follow.
The punishment, levied by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel, will keep Lohan from promoting "Machete," the Robert Rodriguez action film due in theaters in September. Fox, which is releasing the film, had no comment Tuesday.
Lohan's jail and rehab sentence will also delay production on "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," in which the 24-year-old actress plays the starring role.
Writer-director Matthew Wilder said after the ruling that he and his crew remain "100 percent behind Lindsay."
"We are proud to have this remarkable artist work on our film," he said.
Lohan's sentence may also prevent her from further promoting her new fashion line, 6126. The first items from the 280-piece collection are shipping out to department stores nationwide this month. Lohan was instrumental in the line's design and marketing plans and is featured in its promotional materials. Her business partner, Kristi Kaylor, did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail messages seeking comment.
