Steven Curtis Chapman releases song in honor of 9/11

To honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11th tragedy in New York City, Steven Curtis Chapman has released a brand new song, titled “Remember the Day.”

Chapman shared this about the new release: “On September 11, 2002, I was traveling from Nashville to New York City with my band to be part of a night of remembrance at Madison Square Garden. As we drove in, the memories of September 11, 2001 came flooding back – Mary Beth and Shaoey and I had been in Washington, D.C. on that tragic day and watched out our hotel window as fighter jets flew just over the rooftops while smoke rose in the distance from the Pentagon. I wrote ‘Remember the Day’ to sing that 1st anniversary night in New York to help process our shared grief, honor those who lost their lives, and celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and compassion that brought our country together in the midst of unimaginable loss. I never recorded it before now, but decided this 25th anniversary seemed like the right time.”

TobyMac announces 2027 tour

TobyMac is teaming up with Jeremy Camp, Seph Schlueter, and Katy Nichole for the Hits Deep 2027 tour. The singer announced the tour on social media on August 28th after a lead-up of promotional videos. The tour will kick off on January 28th in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Josiah Queen sets record at Iowa concert

On Sunday, August 23, Josiah Queen, joined by special guest Ben Fuller, drew 16,081 fans to the Iowa State Fair grandstand, officially setting the all-time attendance record for a Christian artist at the fair. The previous record was held by Forrest Frank and Lecrae, set in 2025. The milestone also made Josiah and Ben’s performance the second-highest-attended show at the 2026 Iowa State Fair.

Matthew West releases new single

Matthew West released a new song, “Here And Heaven,” out now. Written by West with AJ Pruis, “Here And Heaven” arrived ahead of the release of West’s upcoming album, Jesus Is King, due September 25th.

“I often find myself writing songs about Heaven, and I probably will until I get to go there,” shares West. “Heavy days call for reminders that this life on earth is not the final destination. At the heart of this song is the promise that no matter how hard it can be to walk through this world, a better day is coming. But we don’t have to be hopeless until Heaven. We have a King who is in control of an out of control world. He’s not just King of Heaven, He’s the King of both.”

Katy Nichole announces fall tour

Katy Nichole announced the fall leg of her “Honest Conversations” headline tour, set to kick off October 22nd in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and to traverse eight states before wrapping up in Midland, Michigan on November 6th. Joining her will be 2026 New Artist of the Year Dove Award nominee Emerson Day and special guest Cade Thompson.

Forrest Frank wraps historic tour

Forrest Frank‘s The Jesus Generation Tour concluded with more than 35,000 people at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, marking the end of the biggest Christian music tour in history. In just two months, the 29-city run saw over 519,000 people in sold-out stadiums and arenas across the country.

Francesca Battistelli releases new single

Francesca Battistelli has made her long-awaited return to Christian music with the release of her new single, “He Will.” The song is the first one off an upcoming project from Battistelli that has yet to be named.

GMA Dove Awards announce 2026 nominees

The nominees for the 2026 GMA Dove Awards were just announced. Leading the pack is Phil Wickham, who earned nine nominations as this year’s top male artist nominee, while CeCe Winans leads all female artists with seven. Both are joined in the Artist of the Year category by Brandon Lake, Josiah Queen, and Lauren Daigle. The 57th GMA Dove Awards will air on October 9th on TBN. Matthew West announces new album

Matthew West announced his 14th studio album, Jesus Is King, due Sept. 25. The 12-song collection is available for pre-save now, alongside the release of his new song, “Back to Jesus.”

Crowder announces fall tour with Rend Collective

Crowder is teaming up with Rend Collective, Benjamin William Hastings, and Lost and Found for a new fall tour. Crowder LIVE! will begin on October 8th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
