Mat Kearney releases new single

Mat Kearney continues to tease his upcoming album, Hanging by a Heartstring, which comes out on October 9th. Kearney dropped another single off the album, called “Fall On Me.” The singer also shared a video clip on social media of a special performance of the song in a forest. “Fall On Me” is available on streaming platforms everywhere now.

Matthew West announces new album

Matthew West announced his 14th studio album, Jesus Is King, due Sept. 25. The 12-song collection is available for pre-save now, alongside the release of his new song, “Back to Jesus.”

“I think I needed to make this record as much as I needed anyone else to hear it,” shares West. “Life has a way of making a lot of things feel bigger than they really are — our fears, our failures, the noise of the world around us. These songs became a reminder to my own heart that none of those things get the final word. Only Jesus does. Jesus is King. Sanctus Real drops new single

Sanctus Real releases a brand new single, “The War I’m In,” available now on streaming platforms.

About the single, the band writes, “‘The War I’m In’ was written from a place of deep sadness, the reality that bitterness can never lead to wholeness, and sadly there will forever be a part of me that knows I failed. And yet, it is also a song of hope, because every day is an opportunity to lay down this selfishness that leads to so much hurt. We want this song to reach people at a deep level. Franni Cash releases new single from upcoming album

Franni Cash has released a new song, “Darken the Doorway,” from her long-awaited debut solo album, out September 18th. Inspired by classic rock, “Darken the Doorway” challenges the notion that faith can only be practiced in houses of worship. Written with Paul Duncan, Jonathan Smith, and Franni’s father, Ed Cash, the song features picked acoustic guitar and a thick bassline, supporting Franni’s vocal strength and adding depth.

We The Kingdom featured in pop-up exhibit

The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music is celebrating one of contemporary Christian music’s most beloved bands with a special We The Kingdom pop-up exhibit, on display now through June 20th in downtown Nashville. The exhibit coincides with the release of We The Kingdom’s new album, Everything I Thought Was Pleasure, which was just released on June 12.

Crowder announces fall tour with Rend Collective

Crowder is teaming up with Rend Collective, Benjamin William Hastings, and Lost and Found for a new fall tour. Crowder LIVE! will begin on October 8th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“These nights are about more than just playing songs. It’s about gathering together as the people of God and singing truth,” says Crowder. “It’s going to be a family reunion like no other. If you are heavy-hearted or you need a reason to hoot and holler and lift a joyful noise, these nights are for you!”

Joining Crowder on all dates is acclaimed worship-folk collective Rend Collective, bringing their signature joy-filled energy to the tour. Additional support on select dates includes Lost & Found from October 8–20 and Benjamin William Hastings from October 22–November 3.

Franni Cash set to release debut solo album

Performer, vocalist, and songwriter Franni Cash (formerly of We The Kingdom) will release her long-awaited debut solo album, Here I Am. To celebrate the news, Franni has released “Menace,” the latest song from the album, written with Natalie Hemby and Cameron Jaymes. Phil Wickham throws first pitch at college baseball game

Phil Wickham took the field recently to throw out the first pitch for the Kentucky Wildcats. Last year, the head coach of their baseball team, Nick Mingione, had gone viral for sharing during a press conference how one of Wickham’s songs had changed his life. Wickham, one year later, got to meet Mingione and his team, attended batting practice, and then threw out the first pitch for one of their games.

Switchfoot releases new single

Switchfoot wrestles with tension and uncertainty in their new single “Absolution,” out now on all streaming platforms. The song is from their highly anticipated forthcoming album Forever Now, due June 26. “While writing ‘Absolution,’ I found myself wrestling with the contradictions within me, asking myself, ‘What wouldn’t I have done in my life? Can I make amends? Is there absolution for these things?’” said Jon Foreman, founding member and lead vocalist of Switchfoot. “I kept coming back to this idea from Carl Jung: ‘Until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our lives and we will call it fate.’ A lot of this record is about trying to unearth the things we want to keep buried and the parts of ourselves that inevitably surface in other ways.”
