To Men

There is so much going on around us that it is hard to get a moments peace. The job(if you still have one), wife (if you still have one), the kids( if they have not made you crazy enough to run away from home, along with the wife bugging you all day). I just want to tell you that it is time for you to take a timeout for yourself. To go somewhere alone to think, to pray, to meditate, to shout(cry/curse), and get your head together. Not for the family's sack, but for your own. You may have a family depending on you, but unless you get time to just to release that stress and tension it will kill you. You may not know this but stress can kill. It can lead to stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure, and many other problems. We as men always think that we can handle anything. It may be true to a point but we always go above that limit. We get ourselves in trouble then by arguing with the wife, kicking the dog and yelling at the kids, when deep down inside , we know that it is not there fault. It is the stress of dealing with problems that have gotten out of hand. The mortgage is past due, the car is about to get repo'd, and all the bills are past due. You have nowhere to turn because everyone else is in the same boat. Right?
The thing I suggest is to tell your family that you love them and you are not truly mad or upset with them. That times are hard and they may be hard for awhile, but we will be o.k. As long as we do what we can do to stay together. What I'm saying is tell the family the truth about what is going on. If need be, work it out as a family by having a family meeting every month over dinner. Do what you can to find work even if you have to do handyman/ odd jobs to make ends meet.
If you are out of work, how about just starting with the things that you can handle first. Like doing those repairs around the house that cost little or nothing. Doing the repairs that you know how to do for your family, friends and neighbors to make a little pocket money. Think about starting your own business in relation to the repairs you have been doing for the people you know. They can network for you to people they know to get you work. If you know about computers or can tutor kids. You have talent, use what you know to help others. Even think about doing some volunteer work at your church, community center and/or hospital. You never know who you may meet that can lead to a job that pays.
If this is not for you, just get out of the house everyday, even if it is to take a walk around the block. Look up at the sky, not down at your feet, you already feel crappy. So, stop looking down at your problems and start looking up for a solution from on high.
There are many things that you can do to get your mind off your problems. I have come to understand that when you start helping others with their issues and problems, your situation doesn't seem so bad. We all are going to have to change the way we have been doing things because the old ways don't work anymore. This country will never be the same , but it can be better and greater than ever. It is time for all of us to start thinking and acting different. What I means is living on what you actually make, instead of on credit. Buy only what you need and save for what you want. Plant a garden in part of your back yard. Ride the bus and train to work, or even a bike.
I know that you can handle anything. You didn't get this far to quit! Use what God has given you! You have talent(s) that you have not even tapped into yet! We are MEN! Start being it! You can do anything! Just believe, don't try, DO! Take no excuses and don't give any! God will bless you and your household 🙏 pray with your family and for your community. Most of all pray for yourself. Your heart/spirit will lead your mind if you allow it. Combined you will obtain inner peace and prosperity.

New Year is Cause for Change

New home, new start

We have been doing a great deal over the past few months. We have moved into our own place, my daughter as also gotten her own apartment. Then my son, his fiancee' and their son have moved around the corner from us. Then over the holiday, I lost my job, was a total shock. In a way I am glad that it happened. It has given me a chance to rethink what I want to do for the remainder of my life. It is just my wife and I. This will be the first time in twenty-three years that we have be totally alone. I hope that it will give us time to work on some personal things.

It is also time for me to put more focus and energy into my ministry because the job I had did not have that much respect for those that have a strong spiritual life. That is what is wrong with this country. The greed and lust for money has replaced our desire to have a strong spiritual life. We seem to have forgotten what is important in life. When I look at the news from around the world, all I see is war, terrorist, murder, rape, and hate. The very few acts of love and charity are far and between all the hell that we have allowed to come into our lives.

I plan to get another job, but my career is my ministry and nothing else. We all have something to offer our families, our communities and in the long round, the nation. All the things considered, we all have to make an individual choice to care or not care about what is happening around us. I know that one person can make a difference, just look at history. It is time that each individual start taking care of business that will bring about of change that will benefit not only the individual but also the community. The wealthy and powerful have a straw in all of us and they want to suck us dry. That is why we suffer in order to make life easy for them. That is why the Republican Party is only interested in taking care of themselves that are at the top of the food chain.

CATCHING UP

I had to take a great deal of time off. I know for some that is suppose to be writing a blog that is a death sentence. however i have relocated to another part of the U.S. and had to help my wife get settled into her routine (she is praying for a new kidney) of Doctor Appointment, Dialysis and finding her way round a city that we have not been in for almost twenty plus years.

Then I had to find work that i could get to on the bus. we left the car, because we didn't have enough money to repair it and move too. I t has been a great learning experience for me. We thank god for all those that have helped us and even those that turned their back on us because they had their hand out and we had nothing or very little to put in it.

We have learned about true friendship, love and family. That is the main reason that I decided to write at this time. We have been through so much, some is of our own making, and I must take the responsibility for it all, I am the head. God made me the head of this house and it falls or grows stronger as to the choices I have made. I thank God for wisdom that I gain from his word, the spiritual connection that my wife and I have with our Lord to deal with each days challenges.

As I grow in faith, allowing God to work in me and be his instrument for those I come in contact with you will see me write more, until then ....BE BLESSED,GROW IN FAITH, BE PROSPEROUS THOUGH THE LIVE OF GOD!!!

God's Law

When life is not going as you want or intended, the easy thing to do is blame it on something or someone else. We are all very good at looking at an outside reason for what is wrong in our life. How did things get the way they are?

It is simple- CHOICE.

We never desire to think about what could happen or what we allow to happen as the root cause of our life being as it is. In order for life to go in a certain direction, you must have a plan, not a dream.

God had a a plan when the universe was formed and created. God gave a command based upon the plan that was laid out long before man first foot print was placed upon this earth. Do you think the laws of God have changed?

Not one bit. No matter what mankind attempts to do, the laws of the universe that God established will never change. Gods commandments are based upon these laws and and are the foundation of all creation. If you wish to create the life you dream about and desire to have, follow the laws and commandments of God's Universe. The first and greatest of these is LOVE. If you can't get that, the others want matter.

This means that you have to be humble(not weak), understanding, caring, respectful, honorable, truthful, trusting, loyal, giving, faithful, thoughtful, patience, insightful, fore-sightful, forgiving, creative, high-minded, grounded, free, joyous, helpful, prayerful, healthy, wise, holy, powerful, willing to sacrifice, uplifting, energized, and of course "immeasurably God focused". Think you can't do it? Jesus did it. So can you and I.....

"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, but if you do not believe me, believe because of the miraculous deeds themselves. I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:10-14.

Which Do You Fear?

Adam was afraid and hide from God because he had sinned. But do we do so when we sin? No! We have become so bold that we do it the light. Some even do it in church and from the Pulpit! Some may do things in the dark, but God sees all, and the dark thinks we do will come to light. Why do we not fear God? We state easily that we love the Lord, but I never hear anyone( Pastor, Evangelist, Pastor or Bishop) say they fear God, and it is stated in scripture more times that I can count. Which do you fear most God, man or death?

I , like everyone else have sinned. I to do not fear God as I should. It hits me to the deepest part of my being that I do not reverence the my Lord God, as I should. I have allowed man and this world to dictate to me whom I should fear.

But I am learning to fear no man, for he can only harm my flesh, but not my spirit. Jesus, died not for this world, but for mankind to inherit the kingdom that can only be obtained by those who live by the spirit that is within. God is spirit. God's Breath that brought Adam to life can only be taken by God, which is the giver and taker of life. So who should you fear God or Man?

Is it or is it not, true that living a holy life is the goal of every man and woman of God? Then don't get in my way (judge me) if I decide to live holy, just because you don't. To many times we allow others to dictate to us as to how we shall live. And I am not saying, that I'm better than anyone else, because we are all flawed. I just prefer to get to HEAVEN, not hell. I'm working on having a "excellent spirit" like Daniel. {Daniel 6:2-25}

Stop letting other dictate to you how you should live your life. If Jesus had listen to Peter, and the other disciples, would he had gone to the cross for your sins? Sometimes we have to live not as man wants us to, but as God wills us to. Stop letting the world and your flesh have control of your life. You live your life according to the laws that God gave to every man and woman of God.

These and many other attributes are the keys to heaven. I not good at all of them, but I make every effort to do as God wills me. I know that we can have a better life when we put love into what we do. Don't do everything based on man's ideas of what is right. Look to God. Ask yourself sometimes-" How excellent is my spirit?"

Time For Me

This has been a a very strange time for me. I have been at home for the past few weeks due to my job cutting hours. It has given me time to pray, meditate, read and study God's word; and great times with my family. I know that this year will be full of challenges that will be wisdom building experiences. Whatever wisdom I gain, will be shared with you. Spiritual growth and family prosperity is very important to me. However, remember prosperity is not always monetary, it is also quality of life that each of us desires for those we love and care for.

One of the first things I did was review my list. This list is truly two list in one. It is a list I did this summer . It is a list of what I like and what I dislike about my life. It was a very interesting and learning experience. It help me to realize the numerous hurdles that I still have to overcome. It also showed that I still had fears that are keeping me from living a better life.

It showed that I have spent a lot of time doing things that are not productive. In other words I am a "procrastinator". It is not surprising that so many people see me doing more than what I have accomplished. I guess I will never live up to my potential. It is hard when you have always made mistakes and refuse to learn from them. I think a lot of what I have not done. It has given me the thought that I spend to much time thinking about my past and mistakes , and not enough effort on what I can do right.

I feel it is now time to give myself the life that is equal to my potential. I have decide to take some time to change how I think about myself. There is nothing that anyone can do to change me I am the only one that can do it. It is time for me.

Your life is Not Set

This is not from the Bible or any other book, but I know that it is influenced by all that I have read, seen, heard and thought. Your life is not set. It is not suppose to go in a certain direction unless that is your objective, desire or goal. It is not what suppose to go as other people want it to go, but as you shall move in the direction that your heart, mind and spirit desire to go. We have for far to long been influenced by outside forces that we have not totally agreed with.

We have gone with the flow because that is what we have been taught, or by the pressure of others. We don't have to move as other want us, but we should be moving in the direction that brings us to a better understanding of ourselves. NO ONE SHOULD BE TELLING YOU WHAT, HOW, OR WHEN TO THINK! But it seems that for many generations , we have allowed others to think for ourselves.

I understand that I am only one voice , one individual, on mind, one thought, but is it not strange, that one Man over thousand years ago, has change the world. Is it wrong to follow such an old way of thinking? I do not believe so. It is as been proven on every level that love can defeat any and all fears (false evidence appearing real).

When you look at yourself are you truly looking at yourself? When you look at someone else, are you truly seeing the other person or looking at the person's false self. The one that we all been taught to have and use , So that no one can get to know us. But God dose know inside and out. That is why I say your life is not set. God has given you free well to change your world. You are not part of this world, you are just on a lay over, you are on your way home.

You just stop by for the experience. This is not reality, this is a false environment that was made so that you could see, hear , speak, smell and touch. The real experience is with God, that is reality. The physical world and universe is God's creation for you to play with and in. That is why God says you are in the world ,but not of it. It can be changed at anytime that you desire it to change. God gave you the power to make it as you need it to be. Your will and desires make this place heaven or hell.

The enemy knows this and has been using it to his advantage sense the dawn of time. God has been waiting for you to realize that you have the power to set your life to the course back to the beginning, because Jesus opened the door. You just have to walk through it, into God's house. We each have one. You just have to remember where you left the doorknob......Your life is not Set.

It seems that people have forgotten that life is to be experienced, not viewed on TV, the Internet, or spending hours playing video games. You can't get anything out of life until you put something into it. I know because I am guilty of all the above. We are not living life because we prefer to live life via a game or the internet. Both have there place and time, but how many hours,or days have gone by without you seeing or speaking to another human being face-to-face? When was the last time you took a walk just to look at the stars or clouds rolling by? It's time.. yesterday is gone. You only have right know. Do something with that, so it will benefit you and someone else! Hug someone that you love! Take a trip to see some you have been thinking about and you would love to see. GO! Get out of that depressed state of mind! RUN! Jump! Play with your kids or little sister or brother. Do what you dreamed about. Don't let F.E.A.R(False Evidence Appearing Rear) run your life ,you are in control. Live for today and dream for tomorrow to be better. God gave you life to experience all that was created for you to see and do. It was for you that our Heavenly Father created all of this. Why waste what God has made? Lost: Families

I don't seem to understand why it is so hard for our families to come together or to forgive each other. I notice that we can more easily forgive a friend or stranger than a brother , sister, uncle, aunt or parent. What must we do to be able to forgive the ones we are suppose to love as family, over those that we know friend or neighbor? I mean, we more often will forgive and forget what was done by a friend than what your sister or brother did or said.

Love is suppose to be the glue that binds families together, but we let guilt, envy, jealousies, money, property and anger divide families for generations. The family sometimes never recovers the lose love, respect and joy that once was shared when growing up and living under one household. We have allowed the family to die due to the pride of the individual to have more weight than the love of family. We have allowed the outside influences to have more sway in our lives than love of family.

We need to find whatever will work to bring us together as a family, a community, a city , a nation and the entire world. What will stop the destruction of the family? God is waiting for all of us to realize that we are all one family. We live together, we die together. Let us start by praying as a family. Praying changes things. I've tested it. It brought my daughter off the streets and she is starting school in September. Thank God!

Stay to the Right

I have come to understand that when you speck to yourself it should not be in hate or haste.Speck to yourself in love, a righteous and positive manner. Be positive, so that your heart's desire shall be manifested in your life.

We are more than what we do to make a life for ourselves( job, business, family,etc). Stop putting yourself down just because you did something wrong a few minutes, hours or even last week.

It is in the past. God is the creator that is in the NOW. God 's gift is the "present" , not in your past. Learn to forgive yourself, because God loves you enough to forgive your mistakes(sins), even before you do. Don't believe me? Ask God ! Love is all God (Romans 8:37-38). We are all here to love, experience, learn and teach.

When we allow love to rule over our lives, then we are living the right life that God intended . When we love ourselves and each other, doing for each other. Then you are living without haste or hate ruling your life.

God's blessings will rain down on you !

All things in life can be conquered by the love of God through the spiritual connection that is non-destructible by man. God is in all of us, for we are all connected by God which is spirit/ energy/ power/ life/ breath.

The only way to God is the right way, so stay to the right.

Words have the power to build or destroy. In many cases the words that are said are more powerful than a gun or bomb. Words used in prayer have the same effect. Let us pray for life and not death. Let us pray for peace and love, not hate and war.

Use your words of power in prayer, not to curse or profane . The words you speck have power. Speck in love, not hate. Speck to heal, not to hurt. Speck to build up, not to destroy.

Words have power, be careful where you point them.

Your Spiritual Growth Is In Your Hands

This is going to be very brief. I am going to give you something to think about as it regards religion and the organized church. They are some Churches, Sects, Orders and Denominations that are not interested in your spiritual growth. They are not interested in you growing in faith and spiritual power, just coming to church (for your money) and not learning what you need to do to change your life for the better. We are here for three reasons as I see it: 1) to love God; 2) to love each other; 3) to experience life to the utmost!
The church is not a building, it is you! Religion is enslavement to a physical structure, a deity, a certain denomination and/or sect. God wants you to be free. Jesus wants you to be free. In fact, Jesus, never wanted a religion to be constructed based upon his teachings. Jesus taught that you are the church and you are to love God and each other, nothing more. Read your WORD and learn for yourself. It is true we all need guidance , but we learn through experience, not from what we are shown, taught, preached to, terrorized or brainwashed to believe. Just think about it.
When Jesus said that Peter is the Rock upon which he will build his Church (Matt16:15-17).Jesus was telling them that the statement that Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." These words are the foundation of the Church. What Peter said that showed his faith and belief in who Jesus is, that is the foundation upon which the Church will be built, not Peter himself. The "keys" are faith, love, and knowledge of the word that will give you the kingdom of heaven! I am not trying to change what you believe, only you can do that. I just want you to thing about how "Organized Religion" has "misused" God's word to suit the "needs" of those in power. Check it out for yourself!

There are a lot of things going on in the world today that I could talk about, but I only see that we are not doing what we can to stop the increase in violence among the young people of this country.

Everyone is concentrating on the economy, but no one is looking at the growing number of crimes among our children and young adults. They are killing each other with no regards or respect for life.

In most cases we are just standing by letting them do it. If you are fearful, lacking faith, or don't know what to do. Pray.

Prayer has the power to change things. Don't get it wrong , it is not going to change over night, but you have to start somewhere. Start with Prayer. The power is going to come when you and I pray together, along with everyone else.

That those that pray the same prayer can change the way life is, into what life can be. It can be peaceful, joyous, happy, prosperous, and wonderful. It all starts with prayer. Just try it, wait and watch what happens.

In remembering 9/11, I have great respect and give honor to all those that died and had lost someone that day. Their sacrifice SHALL ALWAYS BE A PART OF ALL OUR LIVES. I just believe that we, as a nation will end up giving up more than what many people thing we need to in order to "feel" safe. How great a sacrifice do we need to make for those that call themselves are Leaders or government officials? President Bush signed into law, the Homestead Act, which allowed a great number of changes that in time could take away our Bill of Rights. The reason I am saying this is that I believe, the way the laws are structured, we have given away our freedom to those that are suppose to protect us, in order give us a "safe and secure" nation . The Homeland Security Act gives the government broad powers to the President,NSA , Homestead Security Department, Secret Service, FBI, Military, CIA and local Law enforcement in order to locate and prevent terrorism within the USA. I know that the Bush Administration has push this through at a time when we as a nation was in morning. They knew that we would be emotional and not consider what effect this will have on our children. We all wanted revenge (although, vengeance belongs To God alone) and justice for what had been done to the most "powerful nation in the modern world".

This attack showed that we could be hit and hit hard. We as a nation had the "Big Head Syndrome", that no one could touch us. That we had the technology and information to stop any terrorist attack before it reach our shores. Right? I do not want to dishonor in any way, shape , fashion or form; the people that died that day ,nor to disrespect their families or this nation. It is just not wise to believe that the Leaders of this "Great Nation" did not know that this was possible. That this could happen! That a plan was underway by terrorist to use us as a show of power. We must not let them off the hook. I not only mean the terrorist, but our Leaders also!

Whom is truly running this nation, in fact, who is running the world? It isn't you and me. Since God gave us the ability to choose, then why do we always choose to be ignorant? Why do we always choose to accept what people tell us as the truth. We are always told to " seek the truth, and the truth will set you free". But whose truth are you willing to believe? Are you willing to sacrifice your life for someone else's truth or are you willing to fight for the real truth and what is right for all mankind.? Just think about this and remember, if we destroy the world , where are we going to go!

World Family, Guilty

It would seem that when you make every effort to change your life, your family and some friends are the main ones that do not want to forgive you or want to remain blind to the changes you have made in your life. They continue to bring up your past. They will not speck to you, nor call no matter if you are ill or on your deathbed. I mean that, if you call yourself a "spiritual person", a Christian, a Buddhist, a Muslim or Hindu; how is it that you pick and choose who you forgive? Who gave you that right? That means that you have judged that person without them being tried or even specking to them to hear them defend themselves or apologize. In fact you go out of your way not to speck to them. You drive by their home or you see them on the street, but you don't say a word. You don't stop by to ask" why?"
There are certain members that will forgive and forget, your parents, a big Sister or Brother, even that special true friend, but it seems when the word is put out on you. That you had did something wrong , there are always members of your family that will dislike you no matter what you say or do to mend the damaged relationship. They refuse to love you as family and forgive you. Even when you have apologized to all the ones that you have hurt, offended and disrespected. Even when they are taught by their parents, grandparents, and other family members as children to forgive when someone has apologized. I have come to understand that some people, especially family( and some friends), no matter what you do to change, will always find you guilty. They can do things that could land them in jail, and they will still feel that you have done far worst than they have.
I have made every effort not to be anyone judge, jury and executioner. I have been the one that has been guilty of some mean things, just as others have been. I have witnessed actions of people, including family that would make many people ashamed. But I have learned that it is not my job to past that type of judgement, it only belongs to God. How can I ask for forgiveness, if I can't forgive you. If I don't want to be judged, whom am I to judge you? It is painful the things that I have witnessed, have done myself, seen on the news, and read about in regards to what we do to each other. In all situations, it is the choices we make at that time that will effect you and those around you. It will even effect those that you do not even realize unless you pay close attention.
The problems that we face within our families, neighborhoods, nation and around the world is base upon the choice of love and forgiveness, or hate. We are coming to a point in our human existence that we have done more damage to ourselves and this planet than any other generation, including both World Wars combined. Do you realize that we have at least 2 to 5 or more wars or conflicts going on right know and that there growing in number each year. Our choice is not based upon what the governments are doing or on a few so called"secret powers" Even the terrorists do not have that much control as they think, they are being used to . Everything is based upon the family. if we truly all came from the same beginning, one group of people, one tribe, one set of parents; then we are all one family. The human race is one large family. We are doing nothing but judging, hating, killing and destroying our own family. When God gave this planet to us to rule over, it is a test to see how well we do with something small. The entire universe is our inheritance, if we can't take care of this planet how can God trust us with the entire universe? Think about it !
