We will speak today of Mastery. Mastery of yourself in the world becomes the principle that allows you to thrive on the Earth, where discipline and focus are essential. However, this discipline is not in a harsh or strict sense of being, but more from alignment with your Highest Self.

Withdraw your focus from attention to the waves of change going on in the world. Instead, create a deep system of roots and core connections to the world of Nature and the Earth that supports and nourishes you on an energetic level. You will find that this focus will serve you in greater ways than you have known before.

Mastery is made simple when one can stay in alignment with the soul’s highest reality in any given moment. This allows you to be in the center of your being in full awareness, no matter what is going on outside of you.

The integration of Light Frequencies is a process that allows you to become a master of your energy system in this new time of awakening. Awareness of this process accentuates your inner knowing and allows a deeper connection to your Core of Truth to be available in each moment. You are opening doors to new higher frequencies when you integrate the waves of light as they come to you.

Know that as you fully embody these frequencies you become more whole, which allows life to take on more joy. There is an ability to move from your core with more ease and a deeper awareness within your heart as you awaken to the Divine in every moment. This means that you are truly living in your Light Body in a 5thDimensional world.

Throughout time there have been moments that require you to step into your role as a spiritual warrior. This is one of those times, as you become aligned with your soul at the deepest core of your being, letting that impulse your action in the world. The strength of the warrior also includes the gentle fierceness of Compassion acting as the fire of Truth within you. Wisdom and Love combined with the Power of your center ignites this Compassion, so it is the expansive energy awakening in your energy field at this time.

The decisiveness of the warrior is balanced by the compassion of the heart, thus becoming the centering aspect that supports your mastery on the Earth. Deep humility becomes a core attribute as the warrior recognizes that all is accomplished only through the Will of the Divine. Not my will but thy will be done, as it has been said. Then surrender takes place within the solar plexus as it lets go of self-righteousness. When you do this, a surprisingly calm inner strength is created for you within the balance of Love, Wisdom and Power.

Compassion becomes a balancing agent in your life that can activate your inner gyroscope. Trust that as you set this balancing energy into motion with your intentions, a new way of life unfolds.

Mastery of your emotional and mental components creates your energetic foundation as your alignment with the Higher Focus of Will activates your guidance system for life, then all is truly well.

I am very much into numbers and numerology and always have been very aware of numbers as they present themselves throughout the day. In one of my original posts back in 2011, I mention my interest in Doreen Virtue's Angel Numbers book. I used to it constantly as I have memorized many of the numbers and their meanings.

Potatoes offer more than just a valuable source of nutrition, now they can also power your lights and computers, say Israeli researchers.

The scientists from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJ) have discovered that potatoes can be used as organic batteries, providing a cheap, immediate and easy to use source of green power to parts of the world that currently lack electrical infrastructure.

It’s a development that could improve the quality of life of 32 percent of the developing non-OECD populations – some 1.8 billion people.

The new organic electric battery can provide the power source to meet significant, low-power needs such as lighting, telecommunication, and information transfer.

“A person with two left hands could do it,” Prof. Haim D. Rabinowitch of the university’s Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment tells ISRAEL21c. “It’s like making a sandwich of two metal sheets and a piece of cooked potato in between.”

Humble potato is the top choice

Rabinowitch, research student Alex Golberg from the university’s School of Computer Science and Engineering, together with Prof. Boris Rubinsky at the University of California at Berkeley, have been studying the electrolytic process in living matter for use in various applications, including the generation of electric energy for self-powered implanted medical electronic devices.

The professor explains that all organic tissue can serve in the construction of such a cell and generate electricity. “It is possible to replace the potato with liver tissue (for example) or any other tissue in our body for self-powered implanted medical electronic devices. Think of a pacemaker that gets its power by contact with the heart tissue or muscles. Such a pacemaker does not require a battery and never stops – as long as the tissue is there.”

Practically all organic matter can be used to generate electrical current through electrolysis, but some produce electricity more efficiently than others do. The humble potato was selected for the study because it is widely available almost all year-round, is grown in 130 countries over a wide range of climates (in 2007 alone 325 million tons of potatoes were produced), it isn’t messy, stores well for months and is cheap to buy.

In their research, the scientists found a new way to construct an efficient battery using zinc and copper electrodes and a slice of potato. They also discovered that the simple action of boiling a potato prior to use in electrolysis increases electric power up to 10 fold over an untreated potato, and enables the battery to work for days, and even weeks.

Initially, the researchers believed that the energy stored in the potato tuber (which is 15 to 22% starch) was the main source of power, but they then saw that output was low. Hypothesizing that the resistance of the tissue was reducing the output efficiency, they applied a technique called irreversible electroporation which damages membranes but not a cells’ other components or molecules.

Below is a re-post of a great research article done by the National Catholic Reporter. With all the #METOO talk around sexual harassment, Harvey Weinstein, Pizzagate, Pedogate and Catholic Church child molestation, I felt it necessary to post this enlightening article about their massive settlement payoffs. Having grown up Catholic and not practicing any longer, I have many family and friends who still are. If I were still Catholic, I would have been very upset about the shear magnitude of individual donations going to victims and their families. They deserve it but it doesn't make up for years of mental and emotional anguish suffered by the victims. Really makes you wonder HOW much money the church is hoarding in its coffers???

I recently watched both "Spotlight" (Boston Globe's expose on church cover-up of priest child sex abuse) and "The Keepers" documentary (Baltimore area all girls school where priests molested/raped girls and then murdered a nun who was going to expose them). They were both very difficult to watch because of the hurt caused to these innocent children and the depth, breadth and complicity of the church hierarchy, local police, media and government had in covering it up.

All is in the process of being uncovered and will hopefully put an end to all the sexual harassment, abuse, sacrifice and trafficking of innocent women and children.

National Catholic Reporter research: Costs of sex abuse crisis to US church underestimated

The U.S. Catholic church has incurred nearly $4 billion in costs related to the priest sex abuse crisis during the past 65 years, according to an extensive NCR investigation of media reports, databases and church documents.

In addition, separate research recently published calculates that other scandal-related consequences such as lost membership and diverted giving has cost the church more than $2.3 billion annually for the past 30 years.

Between 1950 and August of this year, the church has paid out $3,994,797,060.10, NCR found.

That figure is based on a three-month investigation of data, including a review of more than 7,800 articles gleaned from LexisNexis Academic and NCR databases, as well as information from BishopAccountability.org and from reports from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Up until now, "nearly $3 billion" has been the most widely cited figure by media, academics and activists for the cost to the U.S. church for clergy sex abuse and its cover-up. NCR research shows that figure is too low, probably by as much as a billion dollars -- and perhaps much more.

There are no uniform reporting standards for public disclosure of financial records for U.S. Catholic dioceses. For example, of the 197 dioceses and eparchies that are members of the U.S. bishops' conference, NCR could find only 60 that had made some kind of public financial report available for 2014. Previous reporting (NCR, Feb. 27-March 12) found the quality of these financial disclosures varies dramatically. Very little information about how much a particular diocese spent on counseling for victims of abuse or for monitoring priest offenders can be found in these reports.Making direct comparisons between NCR figures and official figures from the bishops' conference is difficult, perhaps impossible, for a number of reasons:

The NCR research relies largely on media reports, which tend to report only court cases or large settlements and in major media markets. Areas with little media coverage will be underrepresented in the results.
Settlements with nondisclosure or confidentiality restrictions are not included in the results. NCR found nearly 150 such settlements since 1950, most (74) in 2003 or before, but many even in recent years, seven in 2015 alone. Media rarely report routine financial data related to sex abuse, such as a particular diocese's cost of training church volunteers to be in compliance with the U.S. bishops' Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.
Information from the bishops is incomplete. Because of the way they report on sex abuse, they provide no data for 2003, and data released after 2013 isn't directly comparable to data released before 2013 because of changing data collection methods.
NCR figures are reported for the year in which the settlement was reached and announced (the year the liability was recognized), while the bishops' figures are reported for the year the costs were actually paid out. This partially accounts for the large differences in amounts reported by NCR and amounts reported by the bishops in certain years. For example, some settlements are reached during one year, but the money is not distributed to victims until the next year or later.

The annual reports issued since 2004 by the bishops' Office for the Protection of Children and Young People have their own set of problems. As NCR has previously reported, the data collection is voluntary. The most recent annual reports have compliance rates of about 98 percent for dioceses and 70 percent for religious orders, but early reports had much lower reporting rates.

And the data are self-reported, unaudited and issued in aggregate. Data can't be double-checked or specific dioceses examined.

The NCR examination of reports from around the country unearthed amounts previously unreported in official church financial disclosures as well as amounts left out of reporting on other databases because they were not considered major settlements or judgments against the church.

Only data about settlements and judgments in two specific periods, 1950-2002 and 2004-2013, can be directly compared between the NCR research and reports from the U.S. bishops. (See accompanying charts below.)

While the NCR investigation unearthed amounts not reported in 2004-2013 by Georgetown University's Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), there was no way to determine precisely which amounts those are.

NCR arrived at its $3.99 billion total by adding to its findings two other sets of figures reported by the bishops:

The cost in 2004-2013 for therapy for victims ($78 million); support for offenders ($142 million); attorneys' fees ($433 million); child protection efforts, including training, background checks, safe environment coordinators, and other measures ($259 million); and for "other costs," a designation covering such items as abuse investigations, insurance premiums, emergency assistance for victims and monitoring service for offenders ($47 million).
$96,832,258.22 for similar services for the period 1950-2002 reported in the 2004 report by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Dollar amounts for such services for other periods are not available, but most certainly would have been and are being spent. For this reason, the $3.99 billion figure is almost certainly a low estimate.

As a way of illustrating the magnitude of the costs to the U.S. church, if that amount were divided evenly among the nation's 197 dioceses, each would receive nearly $20 million.

In attempting to compile as thorough a record as possible, articles surfaced that provided some insight into why it will probably be impossible to ever get a complete picture. In 2002, for instance, The Washington Post reported that three years earlier a judge gave permission to the Milwaukee archdiocese to shred documents that it wanted destroyed because those papers "showed how much money it had spent on treatment, litigation and settlements related to sex abuse."

Other articles recount the efforts by the church in several states to block legislation that would either temporarily lift or permanently alter statutes of limitations, laws governing how long victims have to report allegations of sex abuse. The cost of this work, done through bishops' state Catholic conferences, is not publicly reported and can't be included in cost estimates.

It is probably impossible to calculate the effect such great losses have had on the church's ministries and outreach, since some of the restructuring of the church in the United States has simply resulted from shifts in population from old centers of Catholic life in the Northeast and Upper Midwest to the South and Southwest.

However, Charles Zech, director of Villanova University's Center for Church Management and Business Ethics, said that just the interest off the amounts lost over the years to the sex abuse crisis would help the church more justly compensate its lay workforce.

Zech, who has strongly criticized Catholics' lack of support for the church (he points out that Catholic giving is half that of Protestants), said bishops also are responsible for financial shortfalls that affect the level of ministry and the level of pay. "We don't treat our laypeople very well," he said, noting that one of the prevailing attitudes is that there is no need to pay lay ministers a decent wage because they are performing ministries.

With all the difficult times the residents of Texas and Louisiana are experiencing from Hurricane Harvey, I wanted to share an enlightening post on the subject. I have seen so many light-worker related posts on weather warfare and how it was intensified by the cabal. The PTW are involved in weather warfare using ChemTrails and weather modification technologies. The elementals are especially unhappy about this, but it is also about the emotional body of Gaia/Virgo our mother and her reaction to the collective challenging emotions all of us, her inhabitants create daily. Greetings Masters, I am Metatron, Angelic of Light with Tyberonn of Crystalline Service. We welcome each of you in a vector of unconditional love.

We speak today on a very timely topic, that of natural disasters. We understand the deep trauma and sorrow, as well as the great pain and misery that accompanies all such catastrophic events, as has occurred with the hurricanes, forest fires, super tornadoes and earthquakes over recent years. A very recent super-storm has occurred in the Gulf of Mexico, with cataclysmic landfall occurring in Texas and Louisiana.

Time of Shift

Being human at this time of shift on the Earth is extremely difficult for so many, and we ask all of you to offer your prayers to those that are experiencing agonizing loss. We of the angelic realm are with you.
Although there was a tragic loss of lives and devastation to the land and structures, these catastrophies are not meant as any retribution. Masters, we tell you that what is taking place must transpire. It is a requisite realignment. It is the earth shifting, transiting into new energy....and indeed the sort of occurrences will continue on a regional scale across the planet.

The Energy of Change

We feel your pain at these losses, and we honor you so much for holding the energy of change throughout the hardships you are enduring. We truly do understand the sadness of duality realms. We encircle you in love through these times of transition. But understand that everything happening is by choice, and the courageous, sacred choice that humanity has made, is to Ascend.

Every soul whose physical life ends in such events, makes the choice to do so in free will and in higher purpose. We also tell you that while difficult, such events bring people together, and truly bring out the best in humanity, pulling together to help one another. And this aspect of unity was indeed seen in the areas of the Texas and Louisiana hurricane/tropical storm. Now, although the cleansing shift aspect of that termed as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes & tsunamis are natural occurrences requisite for the planet, these in the recent circumstance, also have an effect of re-prioritization.

We have shared with you information regarding the upshift and cleansing of the earth in seeking balance and preparing for change. However, many of you do not realize that there are also very intricate relationships that exist between the psychological environment of the human collective thought-flow, and ensuing weather affects & climatic patterns. We tell you that people's collective thoughts can & do indeed play a key role. Humanity's collective feelings, thoughts & emotions absolutely flow into & thus influence to varying degrees, the 'consciousness' field of the Living Earth.

Indeed, it is from the consciousness field of the earth's natural patterns that all of your annual seasons and weather affects emerge. Accordingly humanity collectively can and do, play a role in the formation & effect of that which you consider to be 'natural disasters'....especially in times of polarization and fear.

Polarization & Rebalance

In this way, natural disasters oft ultimately end up 'correcting' an existing or emerging imbalance, and form conditions that may bring greater realization of life's true purpose, that of truly, unconditionally assisting & loving one another.

When striking polarization occurs within the human field, it creates a frequencial imbalance, and such divisional attitudinal imbalances are capable of mal-effecting the ascension path and obstruct the desired quality & higher goals of life. In this way, natural disasters, often create a scenario which alter priorities, up-shifts collective thinking in manners that bring about a higher good, and enable a need for unity, of mutual caring and assistance in the face of the tempest.

It is true that when humans suffer great loss in a devastating disaster, as excruciating & painful as it is, the survivors overwhelmingly express their gratitude at still being alive. For such traumatic events bring a sense of renewed priority , an understanding of the 'gift of life'. And in most cases, live their lives with a renewed sense of harmony and love toward one another and a great and greater understanding that changes them for the better.

The physical planet that you recognize is highly conscious, indeed more conscious than is humanity at the current time. The Living Earth is attuned to the needs, resonance and vibratory energy patterns of human thought, and is aligned to the ascension path of humanity in the ''New Earth'.
Make no mistake, the natural climatic patterns of cleansing are not only requisite, they also contain vast imprintable geo-patterns & codes. These patterns are "fluid," in that while they exist, their final expression is often a format of possibility and probabilities, imprinted & directed by consciousness. J Tyberonn Question to Metatron: We understand from the information given over the past years, that these are necessary for the Ascension. Can you expand on this ?

AA-Metatron: Hurricanes, storms, earthquakes, floods, et cetera, are ever and always, necessary to the balancing & well-being of the earth. Accordingly, both electromagnetic balancing of the planet, as well as mankind's succinct purposes are 'naturally' served when such events occur. The earth is ever dynamic. You must understand that the balancing of the living planet is a continual 'natural' process. The equilibrium shifting that has always occurred will continue to occur as needed, it is an ongoing process.

But in the present time, these storms and also serve to further awaken humanity to greater truth, higher purpose. For it is within the difficult experiential arena of disasters and catastrophes that human life is for an enduring time, drastically altered.

Just as your physical human body & 'auric' body make necessary adjustments according to external and internal experiences and forces, so does the body of the living planet Earth make shifts for balance.
To some extent mankind's collective attitudes, desires and emotions effectively blend & merge with the physical aspects of nature so that such storms or disasters in certain circumstances, are as much the result of psychological activity as they are of physical weather conditions.

Disasters provide a rather drastic, societal shock. This immediate chaotic confrontation disrupts habitual, institutionalized patterns of behavior and quickly renders people to react in the 'now' and opens people to more amenable actions of assistance & survival. The affect can bring social, political and personal change.

Emotional influence as a 'Human Event'

Mankind in mass consider storms, hurricanes, rain, earthquakes etc, as natural events, yet you do not consider thoughts or emotions as natural events in the same terms. We tell you there is a very real & valid interaction between emotional attitudes and 3d-physical events.

Although most humans realize the weather affects your emotional moods, very few of you recognize deeply understand that your moods & resulting attitudes can have an absolute effect upon the weather. Although this may seem obscure, even unbelievable to many, you are never unaware victims of natural disasters. Initially it may seem that you are, but on a higher level, you must understand that you have scripted your life events, and accordingly you have willingly had a hand in forming them....for greater good and higher growth. Indeed, your lives are pre-planned in higher self. You are individually, collectively co-creatively involved in all of the the earth's events & cycles. Do you understand?

A Global Event

To no small degree, the increasing polarity and resulting outbursts of violence, have influenced the longevity & intensity of the recent hurricane & flooding experienced in the United States. Do not think it is a punishment specific to a localized region. It is not a punishment, rather an opportunity to raise awareness and change priorities. Nor is it truly regional, it is a global event, in the sense of the worldwide focal attention given by the media.

What has taken place in the face and aftermath of the disastrous flooding, has provided a unique and optimal opportunity for change, it serves as an awakening. A unifying desire for man to assist fellow man.

If the quality of life that is considered spiritually and biologically necessary fails, then adjustments must occur. Social, political problems can indeed be modified, reshaped and reformed by a natural disaster if political means fail.

Creative Response

Disasters provide a temporary liberation from the status quo in daily life. Worries, aggression, prejudices, inhibitions and anxieties associated with the immediate past and future temporarily are put on hold. That is clearly because disasters literally force people to concentrate their full attention on survival, on the immediate moment-to-moment, needs within the context of the present realities.

Disasters, in this way, stimulate rousing courage & creative energies of the populace. In survival emergency mode, humans tend to see one another as fellow humans in need, not categorized by race, religion or economic class. Assistance is rendered based on common need. Indeed, this is exemplified in the altruistic and heroic actions of so many in the aftermath of the recent hurricane in Texas. People from all parts of the United States, Canada and Mexico came together to offer assistance. Many courageous rescues came not from government agencies or military, but from what your media referred to as the 'Cajun & Cowboy' navy.

Bearded and tattooed, rough and ready individuals highly capable of navigating their boats through raging currents into isolated flooded neighborhoods to heroically rescue the trapped of all ages, religions and races. This action inspired others to play various roles in opening their homes, providing food and blankets to the less fortunate. Do you see the silver lining?

Do you understand that such noble actions would not have occurred without the setting of the catastrophic floods?

We tell you that the actions of both the rescuers & rescued have changed the attitudes & focus of millions, not only effecting those in the immediate area, but also the hundreds of millions of souls across the planet who viewed the events on television, internet and other media outlets.

Mankind & Nature

Mankind cannot separate, cannot divorce themselves from nature, nor nature's collective experiential intents. Although at such times you may consider nature, in its violent storming expressions as an adversary, on a higher level you are aware that you collectively played a role in co-creating the enduring trauma of the experience....and that this very trauma brought out a better side of humanity. In this way, you are forced to look for reasons outside of yourselves to explain what seems to be occurring. The belief systems and struggle for survival, upon which you humans base your lives, do indeed condition & culturally program your existence such that you outwardly deny what you inwardly know.

You have made certain divisions because of your cultural programming and beliefs which make this kind of explanation extremely important, but equally difficult to contemplate or truly grasp in higher context. You think of flooding or earthquakes as totally natural events, but you do not consider thoughts or emotions as natural events in the same way....or consider that your fears, prejudices or emotionally charged thoughts played a role in the manifestation of any disaster. And that the disaster itself helped you raise your consciousness into a more aware & indeed noble context.

Closing

Masters, we emphasize that every experience each of you experience, you have had a hand in creating. The University of Earth is a purposed illusion, but if it did not seem real, you would not learn.

Life can be difficult, and that is a great Truth. But it is often in very difficult times that you rise to the occasion, and transcend the past cages & limits. For it is through facing your chosen 'set-ups' that you master the lessons of love offered in the curriculum of duality.

Natural disasters paradoxically bring out the altruistic aspect of humanity, in which mankind become kind men, and neighbors become truly neighborly. The lessons learned in these experiences, while devastating in 3d, also change people for the better, revealing a greater truth, the truth of Love.

I have been Gluten Free, Alcohol Free and Vegetarian for almost 6 years now and below is a brief synopsis of my journey...

One night over 10 years ago, I was telling a friend about my stomach problems at dinner and he said that he was seeing an acupuncturist for help with his crone's disease which is another digestive ailment. He was having some success with the treatment so I made an appointment with her. After a few sessions, she told me that I should try a gluten-free diet (no wheat flour based food products). I didn't know much about the diet but quickly found out it was going to be a difficult adjustment because I loved bread, pizza and pasta having grown up working at my parent's Italian restaurant. I was also seeing a nutritionist who was helping to strengthen my digestive process with probiotics and other vitamins. After several months on the diet and continuing my acupuncture treatments, my stomach was feeling better and I lost 15-20 lbs. I stopped drinking most alcoholic beverages as well. However, at this time, there were no mainstream grocery stores carrying any gluten-free products and restaurants had no idea what gluten-free meant. So, the challenges of eating a gluten-free diet made it difficult for me to continue the diet and I stopped.

However, a few years later, I started to notice that gluten-free items were becoming more popular and available. So I decided to try it again and at the same time quit drinking all alcoholic beverages completely. I was successful this time and felt amazingly better both physically and mentally. My energy levels were extremely high and I required much less sleep. I now rarely get sick even when the rest of my family is ill. I also was starting to eat more natural and organic foods and about a year later decided to try becoming a vegetarian. As a consultant, I worked with many people from India who were vegetarian and have learned much about their diet though out the years. I had always wanted to try it but felt it would be too difficult and was concerned about how I would get enough protein. So, I did some research and read several very helpful books.

I found that Buddhists and Hindus are not the only ones who have promoted vegetarianism, or understood that peace on earth starts with peace in our hearts. Great thinkers of all times have shared this view and have become vegetarians. A few examples are: Pythagoras, Socrates, Plato, Clement of Alexandria, Plutarch, King Asoka, Leonardo da Vinci, Montaigne, Akbar, John Milton, Sir Isaac Newton, Emanuel Swedenbourg, Voltaire, Benjamin Franklin, Jean Jacques Rousear, Lamartine, Percy B. Shelley, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Leo Tolstoy, George Bernard Shaw, Albert Schweitzer, and Albert Einstein.

Medical studies have shown that a vegetarian diet is easier to digest, provides a wider range of nutrients and imposes fewer burdens and impurities on the body. Vegetarians are less susceptible to all the major diseases that afflict contemporary humanity, and thus live longer, healthier, more productive lives. They have fewer physical complaints, less frequent visits to the doctor, fewer dental problems and smaller medical bills.

I found a paper titled "Humans are naturally plant eaters" by Dr. Mills

The anatomical evidence tells us that we're optimized for eating almost exclusively plant foods. The animals most similar to us, the other primates, eat an almost exclusively vegan diet

"Omnivore" doesn't mean 50% plants and 50% animals. Many consider chimpanzees to be omnivores but 95-99% of their diet is plants, and most of the rest isn't meat. They eat termites.

Saying we're omnivores because we're capable of eating meat is just silly. We're capable of eating cardboard, too.

Our so-called "canine teeth" are "canine" in name only. Other plant-eaters (like gorillas, horses, and hippos) have "canines", and chimps, who are almost exclusively vegan, have massive canines compared to ours.

Among animals, plant-eaters have the longest lifespans, and humans are certainly in that category.

We sleep about the same amount of time as other herbivores, and less than carnivores and true omnivores.

Comparing the gastrointestinal tract of humans to that of carnivores, herbivores and omnivores we must conclude that humankind's GI tract is designed for a purely plant-food diet.

My protein concerns were put to rest when I found that former and current Olympic athletes and professional sports players were vegetarians. To name just a few:

Carl Lewis, Edwin Moses, Tony Gonzalez (NFL), Prince Fielder (MLB), Billie Jean King, Hank Aaron

Back to the Gluten Free discussion...It was very challenging in the beginning as there were few grocery stores, restaurants or recipes out there that carried anything gluten-free. Try to combine that with being vegetarian and you were almost at zero options. It has been a very challenging journey that not even my wife would help me out much with in the beginning because of her disbelief in gluten intolerance and the fact that she was cooking for 3 growing boys as well. All of my relatives including parents, brothers and sisters, in-laws were also very unsupportive at family gatherings, holidays and events. I am still pretty much on my own for big holidays but don't get upset anymore with their lack of thought or care for my situation.

God has taken care of me and through the graces of time, the increase of GF intolerance awareness and the internet, I have found many different recipes and items that are healthy and gluten free. I was lucky enough to live in an area where there is a 100% gluten free bakery that creates high end treats and some of the best GF bread around from scratch. In addition, there is a ton of GF stuff out there now but you have to be careful because some of it is still very bad for you. Take for instance, Amy's Gluten Free products. While appearing to be healthy and GF, this line of products is loaded with 1000's of mg of salt. One of my favorites was their GF spinach pizza which is very small and can be easily eaten by an adult or teenager but has over 1700mg of salt. (Rec daily allowance is 1500-2300 mg max). Took me a couple of tries to realize why I was so dehydrated in the middle of the night after eating that pizza. My favorite restaurant for a while was Chipotle but after McDonalds bought it and changed all their recipes to be loaded with salt, I no longer had a safe haven while on the road. One vegetarian burrito bowl with rice, black beans, veges, corn, tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, guac and lettuce has 2180mg of salt. If you add chips and guac, its at almost 3000 mg (https://www.chipotle.com/nutrition-calculator).

My reason for posting this on my blog was that today on Facebook, a friend shared a post that included something about how all this Gluten Free crap is a fad and that we've been eating wheat for 5000 years so where is all this gluten free intolerance stuff coming from out of nowhere. This is not the first time I have seen or heard this comment so finally wanted to share my thoughts on it.

Did you know that the United States has a history of government agencies existing in secret? For example, the National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, but its existence was hidden until the mid 1960’s. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, it was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years. Then we have the entire black budget world, a world dominated by secrecy that was officially revealed by Edward Snowden a couple of years ago. CANADIAN DEFENCE MINISTER PAUL HELLYER

Former Minister of National Defence, Paul Hellyer, is one of Canada’s best known and most controversial politicians. He was first elected in 1949, and was the youngest cabinet minister appointed to Louis S. St. Laurent’s government eight years later. He held senior posts in the governments of Lester B. Pearson and Pierre E. Trudeau. He achieved the rank of senior master (Deputy Prime Minister), and went on to become the Canadian Defence Minister. He is best known for the unification of the Canadian Armed Forces, and in September 2005 he became the first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries to state unequivocally that “UFOs are as real as the airplanes flying overhead.”

John C. Calhoun was the 7th Vice President of the United States, from 1825-1832. He was also a political theorist during the first half of the 19th century.

This is a very inspirational and uplifting video about 8 people with a variety of chronic diseases that were mostly cured by juicing and moderate exercise. In addition to watching this, I highly recommend reading this post on the Gerson Therapy as well. In Vale's documentary, Charlotte Gerson is interviewed a couple of times for her advice.

‘Super-Juicing’ for 28 Days Cured Diabetes and Chronic Pain

In a his documentary, Super Juice Me, Vale recruited eight people who collectively suffered from 22 different chronic diseases and put them on a juice-only diet for 28 days (plus exercise) in order to explore juicing’s potential benefits for reversing chronic disease. He filmed their experience, which resulted in the documentary “Super Juice Me,” which I’ve included above for your convenience.
The health improvements seen by those eight individuals are nothing short of astounding. Every participant felt energized and lost weight, and most reported a drastic reduction in their symptoms and the number of medications they needed to use. One man completely resolved his diabetes in those 28 days. A woman went from years of chronic pain to being completely pain-free, and others suffering from asthma, colitis and sleep apnea enjoyed a profound reduction in symptoms.
It was not an easy journey, as several experienced detoxification reactions, food cravings and, for some, a temporary increase in symptoms as their bodies began to purge toxins they’d accumulated, but those reactions were relatively short-lived, and they felt immensely better on the other side — better than they’d felt in years.

This is a remarkable state of affairs when you consider that the human body is actually designed to maintain healthy homeostasis, given half a chance.
What’s worse, chronic diseases strike the very young as well as the very old. Children are now developing diseases previously relegated to seniors, such as type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, heart disease and even cancer.

Eat ‘Low Human Intervention Foods’

Author, Jason Vale, wisely suggests that if a food has a label, it probably shouldn’t be in your diet. What you’re really looking for is real food, or what he calls “low human intervention foods,” meaning foods that has passed through as few human hands and processes as possible. Ideally, you would be growing your own food and eating out of your garden.
In the summer, the majority of my main meal comes from my garden: sunflower spouts, red bell peppers, oregano, rosemary, turmeric and spinach. If you are unable to grow your own, your next best bet would be to get locally grown organic produce that has not been waxed, cut up or processed in any way.

“When you look at the fact that the food you eat really creates the life that you live, everything starts to change,” Philip McCluskey, author of “Weight Loss Blueprint,” says.

The Many Health Benefits of Juicing

There are many reasons to consider incorporating vegetable juicing into your health plan. Whether you use it as an occasional cleanse, or as the start of every morning, juicing:

Vatican City, Jan 7, 2016 / 04:40 am (CNA/EWTN News).- The Pope’s first-ever video message on his monthly prayer intentions was released Tuesday, highlighting the importance of inter-religious dialogue and the beliefs different faith traditions hold in common, such as the figure of God and love.
“Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God,” Pope Francis said in his message, released Jan. 6, the feast of the Epiphany.

At the beginning of the video, a minute-and-a-half long, the Pope cites the fact that the majority of the earth’s inhabitants profess some sort of religious belief.

This, he said, “should lead to a dialogue among religions. We should not stop praying for it and collaborating with those who think differently.”

The video goes on to feature representatives of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, who proclaim their respective beliefs in God, Jesus Christ, Allah and Buddha.

Later on, after the Pope affirms that all, regardless of their religious profession, are children of God, the faith leaders state their common belief in love.

Pope Francis closes the video by expressing his hope that viewers “will spread my prayer request this month: that sincere dialogue among men and women of different faiths may produce fruits of peace and justice. I have confidence in your prayers.”

Dr. Weston Price discovers cure for cavities in 1936: (excerpts from book below)

Dentist Weston Price Discovers the Cure

In 1915 prominent dentist Weston price was appointed as the first research director of the

National Dental Association. A few years later the association changed its name to The

American Dental Association (ADA). In 1936, writing in the Journal Of the American Dental

Association (which is still in publication), Dr. price painted a picture of tooth decay that was

very different from the one we have today. He wrote of people who did not use toothbrushes,

yet were immune to tooth decay.

'All groups having a liberal supply of minerals particularly phosphorus, and a

liberal supply of fat-soluble activators, had 100 per cent immunity to dental

caries.'

Lack of Nutrition is the Cause of Physical Degeneration

Dr. Weston Price realized that something was fundamentally wrong with the way we live and

set out to explore the world to find out what it was. During the 1930s, Dr. Price was able to

document the sharp decline in health experienced by previously healthy people who came

into contact with modern civilization. The revealing findings of Dr. Price, published in his

excellent book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, along with his telling photographs,

bring home the important fact that our modern food and lifestyle are the primary causes of

tooth decay.

The Healthy People of the Loetschental Valley, Switzerland

In 1931 and 1932, Dr. price traveled to the remote Loetschental Valley in the Swiss Alps.

existence. Dr. price wrote Of the superior character and health of these people and the sublime lands of the isolated valleys in the remote Swiss Alps:

"They have neither physician nor dentists because they has so little need for them. They have neither policeman nor jail because they have no need for them."

Make Your Teeth Strong with Fat- Soluble Vitamins

Dentist Melvin Page followed in the footsteps of Weston Price's findings, and then added the

science of blood testing to his research. Dr. Page believed that it requires a 25% imbalance Of

body chemistry to cause teeth to decay. After 30 years and 40,000 blood tests, Dr. Page

discovered the biochemical cause of tooth decay and gum disease: a disturbance in the ratio

of calcium to phosphorus in the blood. A ratio Of 8.75mg of calcium per 100CC of blood, and

3-5mg of phosphorus per 100cc of blood, with normal blood sugar levels, creates immunity

to tooth decay. Healthy blood sugar level is 85 milligrams per 100 cc of blood. When

there are blood sugar spikes, minerals like calcium are pulled from our bones. The

amounts of calcium or phosphorus in the blood deviate from these levels, or if they are not in

the exact proportion of 2.5 parts calcium to one part phosphorus, minerals are withdrawn

from the tooth or other tissues, resulting in tooth decay or gum disease or both.

Dr. Page wrote:

"It takes a continued low level of phosphorus, over a period of several months, to deplete the

dentin of its mineral structure. "

Amazingly Dr. price also believed that phosphorus was the essential and vital mineral for

perfect teeth. Dr. Page's tests reveal the biochemical nature of what we saw in Dr. Price's

photographs and observations. The rapid decline in health of native peoples subsisting on a

modern diet is chiefly the result of not enough available calcium and phosphorus in the

blood.

How to Heal Cavities Naturally

The world is slowly waking up to the fact that, when you give the body what it needs, it can heal things we previously thought were impossible. A fine example of what is often deemed as an incurable health problem is dental cavities, but extensive research is now becoming more public about the true nature of tooth decay and the fact that there are proven remedies that can remedy it.

The lies perpetrated about tooth decay

According to the American Dental Association, the reason we have tooth decay is as follows:

“[Tooth decay] occurs when foods containing carbohydrates (sugars and starches) such as milk, pop, raisins, cakes or candy are frequently left on the teeth. Bacteria that live in the mouth thrive on these foods, producing acids as a result. Over a period of time, these acids destroy tooth enamel, resulting in tooth decay.”

There are a few problems with this theory, including:

• Groups of indigenous people who had fermentable carbohydrates stuck on their teeth all the time that did not brush or floss were mostly or completely free of tooth decay.

• Bacteria do not consume processed sugar or flour because of the lack of nutrients in them.

• Foods that bacteria like to eat, such as milk, vegetables, meat, fish and fruit, are not commonly implicated in causes of tooth decay.

So if the modern explanation of tooth decay is not accurate, what is actually the cause of tooth decay?

What actually causes tooth decay

Tooth decay, as researched by Dr. Weston Price and other dental pioneers, boiled down to three factors:

• Not enough minerals in the diet.

• Not enough fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) in the diet.

• Nutrients not being readily bioavailable, and your intestinal system not properly absorbing them. The presence of phytic acid largely influences this factor.

Over a period of time, if your diet lacks vitamins and minerals from a poor diet and/or contains high levels of phytates (from grains, seeds, nuts, and legumes), the blood chemistry and the ratio of calcium and phosphorous become out of balance, which results in minerals being pulled from bones, causing tooth and bone loss.

So, the long-standing belief that sugar causes tooth decay is true, but as a result of it depleting nutrients from the body, not because bacteria eat it and produce acid that ruins your teeth.

The food remedies that can heal cavities and tooth decay

In order to restore the ratio of calcium and phosphorus in our blood, and to enable minerals to bond to our teeth, it is not enough to just avoid eating too many sweet or processed foods. We must also eat health-building foods, containing copious amounts of minerals and vitamins that will build a glassy hard tooth structure.

Foods to focus on are:

• Coconut oil, grass-fed organic dairy (especially butter), grass-fed meats, seafood and bone broths.

• Organic cooked vegetables (soups with bone broth are ideal).

• Organ and gland meats, like liver.

Limit foods that are high in phytic acid, like grains, beans, nuts and seeds, as well as limiting processed food intake full of processed flours and sugars that upset blood sugar balance.

Supplements to consider are:

• Fermented cod liver oil – very high in fat soluble vitamins A, D and K.

• Magnesium – required to use calcium and phosphorous effectively.

• Gelatin – if you don’t have time to make bone broth, this is a good alternative and is great for gums and digestion.

I had no idea how long I’d stay alcohol-free, but gradually days became weeks, weeks became months and well, here I am six years hence, alive and kicking.
The back-story goes something like this.
I had landed myself in the hospital—run down and sick from exhaustion largely owing to a toxic work environment that manifested itself in anxiety, restlessness, a messed up sleep cycle and piss-poor confidence. It was a bit of a wake-up call for me as I lay in that hospital bed with all kinds of wires taped to me, wondering how I got here.
I remember that sight vividly even now. You know that feeling when something just isn’t right? Well, I experienced it run through me head to toe, ten-fold, like tiny currents.

A lifestyle shift was in order.

It started with taking out meat from my diet.
I was becoming aware of inhumane factory farming practices and what these animals endured to make it to my plate. With this knowledge, I wanted no part of these atrocities linked to my karmic footprint and I refused to corrupt my body’s ecogentic composition. Out it went.
Bidding adieu to alcohol quickly followed.
I recall that each time I visualized a bottle of alcohol, I saw a white label strewn with black text: Poison. In the beginning, when I’d go out with friends and they’d wonder why I wasn’t drinking, I politely declined saying I wasn’t up for it. Now I say, “I’m good, thank you. I don’t do alcohol.”
About a year down the line, I turned in my cable-box.
I found that TV programming was feeding the masses curated unhappy and biased news or promoting shows that glorified fame, violence, material possessions and sex. What was missing for me was: a mindful point of view on the hysteria of misguided information that was instilling fear and separation between people rather than fostering a sense of community in our collective humanity.
I had absolutely no fear of missing out and preferred having a sense of control over the density of information I was consuming. So, out it went.
It’d be a few weeks before these changes became a part of my daily existence.
I felt a lightness almost right away, but the real impact was even more palpable after a month. From an entirely superficial standpoint—often pointed out to me by others close to me—my skin was glowing, I had lost a few pounds and I was beaming. I had energy to invest my time in long walks, yoga and exploring cafes (with books in tow) all around New York City.
I didn’t feel weighed down, given the benefit of zero hangovers or dehydration. Meditation found its way into my world too, along with people who were choosing to pursue healthier options in all facets of their lives.
Simply put, without alcohol, I felt clean—inside out: mind, body and spirit.
It might seem like I kept giving up a lot of “fun” things, but for me it was about making a massive change to get my life in order.

Other than the immense health benefits of giving up booze, I added three other substantial things in my life:

The gift of presence and attention.

We live in a world where “busy” and multi-tasking are revered. In the past, I have overbooked myself and found myself frantically shuttling from one social event to the next. I’d often cancel plans last minute or shown up uber-late because I showed no control over what I was saying yes to.

I have now learnt to pause and think through an invitation, before saying yes or no.

I understand fully which persons are positive and which ones are distractions in my life. The latter hardly exist, because I am no longer worried about keeping up appearances or being polite; meaning, I am more than comfortable backing off or walking away from that which does not serve me, without guilt.
If I have you on my calendar, you are important to me and I will show up. My undivided attention is yours when we meet. And I just love that I have become more mindful, listen better and engage in dialogue more completely.

As a result, I have been blessed with some wonderful people who came into my life either through mediation, yoga or my writing and have helped me expand my tribe.

Curating who gets to stay in my life is the loudest yes I have lovingly said to myself.

Feeling it all.

I find there is a strong social acceptance around over the top alcohol-induced behavior. For me, it helped me relax, perhaps even shed away some of my social anxiety, and wherever there was questionable behavior, not one person flinched.

Granted, I did not put myself in life-threatening situations, but come to think of it, anything can escalate to that point without notice.

The one aspect I did not master was having a full grasp on when enough was enough. See, the buzz from all the energy around me just kept me going from one bar to the next. Not every situation amounted to some form of binge drinking, but more or less every instance left me in a brain-fog and a stupor that needed to be slept off till four p.m. the next afternoon.

Alcohol was my escape. It might be for many people, but when we no longer have this option we are left with experiencing what is in front of us in all its raw and unrelenting presence. I have felt each emotion in its fullness and entirety. Admittedly, there was a whole bunch of them I’d rather not have felt.

I do sincerely feel that I am better for it, and my response varies when I am met with emotions now.

I journal, talk to a like-minded friend, work out, take a walk or make peace with the situation by taking in a few breaths and then falling asleep.

This connection and truly listening to what is being communicated has worked out quite well.

Learning when to leave.

In a recent article published by Chicago Tribune, a recent federal data cited that alcohol is “killing Americans at a rate not seen in at least 35 years. Last year, more than 30,700 Americans died from alcohol-induced causes, including alcohol poisoning and cirrhosis, which is primarily caused by alcohol use.”

I don’t find this statistic alarming, because sometimes we don’t know when to leave. In the past, I knew it was time to leave after my second drink, but I still stuck around, in spite of poor company at times.

This is in stark contrast to me now.

I was recently vacationing in Costa Rica with an amazing group of people who were inevitably partying till four a.m. the next morning; needless to say, alcohol was involved. I loved every minute of being up that late and I had a great time, but there were at least two nights where I signed off sooner than most of the gang, went back to my room and replenished for the next day of activities.

Six years ago, I’d have kept going ’til I crashed.

I invited all these changes in an embrace of limitless self-love while placing self-care as responsibility to myself, and others who cross my path.
In those initial days, I rarely cast much thought to my decision, and less so now, because it’s just a way of life for me.
Giving up alcohol was the best kind of side effect of going vegetarian, and in a way I am glad it took landing in a hospital for me to take my life into my own hands.
The secret ingredient for me has been a strong “why”; I’d imagine it can be applied to anything we witness in life or when we are on the crossroads of change.
If you have a strong enough “why,” the “how” is a non-issue, and no amount of peer pressure can dissuade you from your decision. Giving up cold-turkey worked for me; it might not for you. I suggest baby steps, starting with two weeks and building gradually from there. If you fall off, start again and enlist the support of friends and family.
I am often asked if I will ever drink again, and my answer usually is, “I haven’t felt the need to so far and I probably won’t in the future.”
My mantra through my journey has been: No more toxicity around or inside me.
So, here’s me raising a non-alcoholic toast to anyone who has been or is considering making this life-enriching change for themselves.

I found this website when I was looking for ingredients in Tide Laundry Detergent since they don't publish them on their container. Tide received an "F" for toxicity and potential health concerns which is not surprising considering they hide their ingredient list. Jelly Poultice

Grind 3 tablespoons of flaxseed (or use cornstarch).

Mix flax meal together with 1-3 tablespoons of charcoal powder.

Add 1 cup water.

Set aside for 10-20 minutes to thicken, or mixture may be heated and allowed to cool.

Spread the jelly evenly over an appropriate size cloth or paper towel.

Cover the jelly with a second cloth or paper towel.

Position poultice over the area to be treated (i.e., liver, stomach, kidneys, spleen, knee, eye, ear, sting or bite area).

Cover poultice with plastic 1 inch larger all around (to keep paste from spreading and drying too quickly). Secure with surgical tap or ace bandage.

Leave poultice in place overnight or from 2-4 hours, if applied during the day.

Matthew, are the effects of prayers diminished if the people don’t go to church even though they know the value of group energy?

God never meant churches to be buildings of any kind. The magnificent cathedrals are man’s idea, not God’s. Church is all within the soul. Church is one’s feelings of reverence, of thanksgiving. It is the uplifting of the spirit into the love and light of God. In this way, church is a single prayer that has the ability to touch the universe.

In a church building filled with praying people, there may be only a few whose prayers have a pure and forceful energy flow. Many people pray with only a faint ritual observation, with no real energy. Others pray in such extreme distress or anxiety that their energy is distorted and has an adverse effect upon themselves as well as adding to universal negativity. Smooth energy flow is what positively affects each soul and the universe, not frenzied praying about specific conditions. It is energy balance that sustains and comforts.

I’m not speaking about the intent of the prayer, but only about the effect of the energy involved in the praying. The energy put forth in a prayer for a completely selfish, greedy purpose may be just as intense as a prayer put forth for the safety of a beloved family member or friend. The intent is recorded as one aspect and the energy flow, or force, is recorded as another.

Furthermore, one who prays for a specific outcome regarding another doesn’t know that soul’s pre-birth agreement. Conditions or events the pray-er is petitioning to have changed may be exactly those the soul chose as his life’s lessons. The same is true of prayers for oneself, because your consciousness is rarely in communication with your soul.

So pray for your own or another’s highest good and don’t direct intense emotion toward a specific outcome of your choosing. The outcome is NOT your conscious choice. You can feel a sense of relief in this knowledge, which will be registered in your sensitivity as peacefulness. That allows energy to proceed unencumbered not only within your physical and psychic self, but issued forth as harmony into Earth’s consciousness.

Mother, I know you have heard that prayers “for the dead” are important and you’ve wondered why that would be necessary. Well, we aren’t “dead,” but since that reference is to souls in this realm, I want to assure you that prayers for us are indeed important. I don’t mean only for those who arrive with great needs for comforting and healing, but also for us whose lives are vital and vibrant, with on-going lessons and spiritual growth. Of course we need and welcome your prayers! And please know that they are especially welcome when in balanced energy, because those prayers are the most beneficial to us and to you, our beloved ones.

Thank you, Mother. Is praying and meditation the solution to all of this drama the world is in? begs more than a yes or no answer. Absolutely light-filled thoughts and feelings are essential—they enter the collective consciousness, latch onto what matches them and bring those energy streamers back to your world.

But action is essential, too. Telling family, friends and co-workers why you feel optimistic about the future can allay their fears and reverse their low-vibrational pessimism. Not all of you can participate in national or international organizations whose efforts are directed toward peace, justness, environmental preservation or animal rights, for instance; but you can support their efforts by the energy you put forth signing pertinent petitions and donating money if your circumstances permit.
Perhaps you are able to volunteer in local groups that provide worthy community services; and by becoming informed about candidates for public office, you can vote for those you deem best qualified. And, we remind you that simply by living in godly ways, you are beaming light into the world—never underestimate the power of your light!

“Earth’s population is more than 6 billion and growing. Matthew said etheric bodies have mass. Don’t they take up room? What happens if Nirvana runs out of space?” Yes, etheric bodies “take up room,” but never could Nirvana even become crowded, much less run out of space. Unlike Earth and other planets that retain their shape and size, Nirvana’s interconnected flexible layers have limitless expansion capacity.

All layers offer learning advantages and comfortable living accommodations, but because the higher dimensions also have exceptional beauty, diversity and manifesting possibilities, countless souls from other worlds go there to vacation, teach or attend advanced classes, or rest after a difficult lifetime. Visitors and temporary occupants, all of whom are fourth density or higher in soul evolvement, may have bodies with considerably more mass than etheric bodies.

It is spiritual status that affords entry to this multi-civilizational environment where people with various body styles, attire, interests and talents happily mingle with each other and Earth’s animals. Life in those parts of Nirvana is sublime! And, although they know your religions’ fallacies, visitors and others who live there temporarily join the residents from Earth in celebrating with you the spirit of this holy season, and their combined high vibrations add to the glowing light in your world.

Dearest family, sing “Joy to the world” and “Peace on Earth, good will toward men”—toward all souls—with feelings of love, gratitude for blessings in your life and forgiveness of the ones who don’t want those words to ever ring true. The truth of the words already abounds in the fullness of Earth’s Golden Age in the continuum and is coming ever more steadily to that world you are helping to create in linear time. Let the joyousness of this season continue throughout your new year and keep your light brightly shining.

Our world is filled with items that are produced without thought of how it will affect our bodies or the environment. It puts a heavy burden on our bodies and is very challenging to stay away from using these items because they make them so cheaply and are convenient to purchase. I call it death by 1000 cuts....
