Siddhi = Power

Siddha is as well perfection or a perfected master!

Siddha yoga is the path of perfection!

I see a city as a temple!!!

I see it as a vortex of powerful energies and my job is to activate it!!!

It is to consciously connect with the spirit of the city and use this energy as an invocation!

My tools are mantras, calligraphy, dance, mudras, physical forms, asanas, breathing, active prayer, inner invocation, intentions, dedications, live foods, bathing, power building, sound, music and many more tools that I use in ritualistic ways.

I just realized that I have been perfecting these forms for many years now and just woke up to the realization that I use the city as a temple!!

I use it as a vortex and energy source that I activate in many specific ways.

A city is a center of civilized energy!!!

It contrasts with natural environments!

Nature is based on a specific set of elemental forces.

In nature, the energies at play are based on natural forms.

A city is different!

Natural forms are still present in isolated clusters like trees, animals, humans, parks or rivers and are now in synergy with human creations like buildings, streets, art forms, culture, technology!

I see every city as a god or goddess!!

It is a conscious, active and intelligent spirit!

By being in a city you are in a unified field of consciousness which is the sum of everything going on in it.

It's way more than the sum of all human activity!

I believe that a city is an energetic space, a conscious intelligence that evolves in its own way and each action that takes place in it is sponsored by this invisible field!

This is not some theory that I want to scientifically prove! It is a mystical experience! It is something I feel in the depth of my being!

I actively communicate with that spirit or energy vortex and establish a harmonious, conscious and empowering connection with this intelligent reality!

The answer is quite simple actually.

Thoughts are objects.

Knowledge from books for instance are facts or objects.

They are not that different from physical objects.

Knowing tons of facts is like living in a house with thousands of objects.

You can cherish these objects, clean them, order them on shelves and even get some more.

It creates a space in which you live and it gives you some satisfaction to own all that stuff.

It's ok.

If the objects are artistic, it can as well fulfill your longing for beauty.

In other terms all these objects do feed you on a certain level.

Intellectual facts and knowledge function in a similar way.

They feed your intellect which is a VERY specific part of your mind and consciousness.

In Esoteric terminology, the intellect is the lower mental plane.

The higher mental plane being higher intuition for instance when you touch on the special synchronicity or synergy of life.

Above the mental plane, you have buddhic and nirvanic consciousness and a few more planes above that...

Now, the type of consciousness activity that you express when you touch buddhic or nirvanic realms have nothing to do with mental or reasoning activity.

If you find yourself in sudden bliss after a meditation practice, that's a very different experience than entering into introspective reasoning, right?

Touching bliss is formless in essence and does feel radically different.

Now, attaining these mystical states of realization happens through different pathways.

Study of scriptures can be one of them, yes!

You can feel bliss by reading and even analyzing sacred texts.

You can find bliss through writing your own wisdom too!

All these pathways do exist and they are possible lines of consciousness exploration.

Now, sometimes, you can lose track with your spiritual target.

You get totally obsessed by the forms you use, like a yoga posture, a meditation technique or a few spiritual facts.

That's when you end up trapped.

You forget about the larger picture and forget that the reason why you focus on an object or technique or fact is because they are reflections of something much deeper than that.

What can you do when this happens?

What can you do when you feel alienated by a technique, a practice or a set of thoughts?

Simple! You let go!

You stop focusing on them for a while until your mind can relax and start seeing the larger picture again.

When you walk on any spiritual path, these objects or techniques are like the steps on the stairs.

What's the point to have your eyes obsessing over each stone on the steps?

You can pause, look up and realize that the target is right there in front of you.

The fact of getting stacked on a spiritual practice or an intellectual quest is due to an alienation of an over disciplined mind.

You can let go, you can relax, sing, dance, shift your focus and mind set.

You will notice that as soon as you shift to a more playful approach, your mind relaxes and the spontaneous downpour of spiritual bliss might start happening again on the spot.

Imagine, it is like preparing a meal.

You put too much salt, you spoil the taste, right?

With spiritual practice, it is the same, you need to take breaks, know when to relax and when to push further and stay aware that you can over train even your spiritual skills.

If you feel you are getting burned out on a spiritual technique or approach, take a break and relax!

REALLY!

The path won't go away ;)

It will be right there for when you are ready to resume your quest again...

Rajaya Yoga - Core principles - ARTICLE

Here is the first principle:

EVERYTHING IS RAJAYA YOGA

What does it mean? That when someone follow for instance bikram yoga, when they take a certain form or practice a given posture, that's bikram - when they do it differently, that's no longer bikram.

It means that bikram is limited to a very specific set of practices and rules and that they are exclusive.

With Rajaya yoga, EVERYTHING YOU DO IS PART OF THE SYSTEM!

There is no action that you could take that is outside of the rajaya yoga system because there are no limits.

Now, there are a few preferred guide lines or action lines that you can flow into if you want to go that way.

But these are open invitations, not rules or even guidelines.

They are free open invitations.

There are no pressures, no demands.

Rajaya yoga does not discriminate between religions. This path is UNIVERSAL.

So, that's principle number one:

EVERYTHING IS RAJAYA YOGA

The path of Rajaya yoga is a path actively engaged in life and society with profession, love life, money and everything else!

It is complete and manifested.

What's principle number 3?

BE IN SERVICE TO THE PLANET AND HUMANKIND

This is not an isolated path! It is connected. When you start acting in that stream you flow with an inspiration which is way vaster than yourself. The fact that it's you or someone else manifesting a given action doesn't matter.

What matters is that IT happens.

The goal is NOT personal gain.

The goal is the well being of life and humankind on this planet.

Connecting with that stream means becoming a transformation and support agent.

FREE LIFE

This means that your role is to free life from disturbances and blockages. Your job is to open space and free life force in whatever way you can.

It can be in your body, in someone else's body, in a mind, in a city, anywhere!

If you see a disturbance or blockage, your job is to remove the blockage and harmonize life force flow

ok!

Principle nb 5

ACTION!

This is not a path of passivity or withdrawal! It is a path of active engagement! You transform your life and the world through action!

Prayer, wishful thinking or internal meditation are only a small fraction of this path!

The path is ACTIVE!

YOUR HOME IS THE PLANET

There is no limit to what you call home. If you could travel to another solar system, then the universe would be your home. The point is that there is no limit! Your home is right where you are

YOUR FAMILY IS HUMANKIND

You are connected to each person on this planet - no one is left behind - this is one global big soul family and each person is part of it.

There is no distinction between those who are in it and those who are not in it.

YOU CHOOSE YOUR DISCIPLINE - EVERY PATH IS VALID

The actions that you perform are your choice. It is up to you to define what works and what doesn't for you. This means that you are your own master.

No one else makes choices for you.

It is from that spot of freedom that you can see your destiny and your practices. For one person, it will be dance, for another it will be business, for another it will be chines calligraphy! It doesn't matter.

EACH AND EVERY PATH IS VALID!

We are not entities separated from each other - on an energy level, all life is connected. And on a consciousness level, we are connected to.

Separation is an illusion. One of the goals of Rajaya yoga is to experience unity - That's self realization - Experience your unified spirit

Good questions! Thanks for asking!

Where I learned these techniques?

I started with some formal yogic pranayama and the techniques naturally evolved to new forms.

By the way, in my world, the fact that a technique doesn't exist doesn't mean we can't invent it. Traditions and practices evolve organically according to our needs.

I am only accountable to myself. Nobody but me controls my experiences.

Hyperventilation?

It definitely brings more oxygen into your body - it's like with anything in life, you need to find the right measure - some people practice these techniques for an hour at a time - I tend to go for shorter sequences of a few repetitions to a few minutes - If you try and feel that your body is not used to it, slow down and take it easy - No need to stress yourself.

Is that even healthy at all?

Best way to find out is to try with small steps. For instance you can start with 10 repetitions of deep breathing each day for a week and see how it feels.

When you finish a set, stay silent a close your eyes for a moment. Observe how it feel internally...

Your instinct is a powerful tool - Trust what you feel.

You can spend a whole life time studying the sacred texts and not be one step further!!!

Why because trying to comprehend the texts mentally won't take you were you want to be.

The path you open up is a path of transformation of the mind.

The sanskrit words even though they do have a mental or logical meaning are codes of light.

You can look at a sanskrit word through its sound beauty, and aesthetic dimension.

You can as well look at it like a concept and comprehend it mentally.

Or you can go of all these feeling or mental interpretations and see them as energy codes that unlock aspects of your mind!

This is what these words are about.

As soon as you start pronouncing them externally or internally, they start transforming your mind, whether you understand the meaning of the words or not.

It's a magical process and this is why sanskrit is special for that.

It unlocks certain gate ways in your mind and opens new channels of energy.

This is how it works and how you can experience this.

Don't try to control or own everything.

You can't! It's too vast!

Enjoy the pleasure of the instant.

A simple connection with a word or a verse will transform your mind and open these new gateways of energy.

Yoga is NOT a crystallized system that lives in the past.

It is a daily creation and exploration.

You have infinite space to express your own creative power in this system.

Yoga started with a spark.

This spark touched some people and these people started creating and practicing specific techniques.

They CREATED these techniques as a response to what they were feeling.

This source of inspiration they were tapping into is formless!

This means that it had all the possibilities in itself.

The risk is to believe that what was crystallized by some yogis at a given moment is the only form!

It is not!

Yoga can be reinvented every day according to your unique needs or situation.

Why?

Because I believe that yoga is NOT the forms.

A set of forms are only the vehicle you use at a given time as a stepping stone.

Yoga is originally formless and free!

Yoga is a free source of inspiration that EVENTUALLY gets crystallized in specific forms.

Now, the original creative freedom that existed when yoga started is still there today.

You can tap into it!

You can reinvent the forms!

You can create a new set of practices by tuning into this original system.

When you try to reinvent forms and free your mind, many people might try to stop you.

It happens because they want to preserve the forms the way they are.

They express their preservation instinct that forces them to protect the existing forms.

These forms are like the visible temple of yoga.

They want this purity and system to be preserved exactly the way it is.

You can respect that of course because it comes from a pure desire to protect something they care for.

Now, there is another aspect to any tradition!

You can call that its renewal power.

This is the force of change and evolution.

Yoga is touched by this instinctual inner urge to evolve like any other tradition.

Life is NOT static and crystallized!

The power of evolution, renewal, change and transformation is active all the time!

Some people or aspects of any tradition might resist change because change challenges them.

It forces them to adapt to new mind sets and forms.

So, change requires energy.

It forces you to step out of a comfort zone to integrate new ideas and postures for instance.

The point is that if you need to or want to, yoga is open for change and renewal.

This refreshing stream of change is part of yoga as it is part of any other tradition.

You have many systems of self realization on this planet.

Every religion or spiritual approach is a system by itself.

When you engage into yoga, you must keep these doors open!

Tolerance and respect are essential!

Avoid the fanaticism traps!

This is not about proving to anyone else that the path you choose is better than theirs.

Only one thing matters and this is what YOU need or what YOU choose.

Everyone is 100% free!

Don't put pressure on others to follow you in what you are doing!

On the contrary! Set them free and respect their own choices.

What works for you might not work for them.

So, remember!

RESPECT at all times!

Believing that yoga is the only path or the best path is being disrespectful to the billions of people on this planet who follow other traditions.

You can climb the Everest via many sides!

The path of Yoga is only one of these routes to self realization and unified consciousness.
