Eva's Dad Steve is currently at The VA hospital in Houston, and it is through these daily visits that God began to speak into her Spirit.

Read her statement below -

We know that there is nothing God allows us to go through that He is not in control of..and in the end He will get the Glory in the outcome... Every time I walk the halls of the VA I ask God what are you doing ?..I have been praying in the Spirit for direction and instruction.. Last week, my sister brought my mom a cooler with fruits, waters, juices, snacks etc..I would always pick up some magazine's from work like Home and Garden etc..for my mom to read.. This brought me comfort to know that my mom did not have to be running around the VA looking for stuff to eat, especially unhealthy stuff like cokes and chips..We then took it home after it was empty to re-stock it..( something we never thought of doing)

Yesterday I had a call my parent's Godson was in a MVA..and in the hospital- he has no family and so Louis is taking care of his needs. In the eyes of the Lord he is an orphan, no matter how old he is. I ran into a co-worker of mine at the VA this morning, her husband had a stroke and she has been staying at the VA since Wednesday..one of our Encounter sisters had a brain aneurism and is at the hospital being kept alive my machines..her family is there around the clock...the Lord placed in my Spirit, that when one is in the hospital, it is not always the patients that need us, but the families of the patients...if we could fill a cooler with the same snacks that my mom received, and take it to families along with books we no longer read, maybe a bible, etc..little things that one does not think of..then maybe for at least a day or two even three..families, would not feel the stress they do when you just sit and wait for a love one to recover. at times money is limited if you are paying for parking so the luxury of vending machines and high priced hospital food is not always an option. We stand on ....Matthew 35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

in the bag will have healthy fruit to feed them

we will have water & juices to quench their thirst

our visits to these families that may be strangers to us now will draw them in to the love of Christ

I was sick and you visited me- we will visit with our brothers and sisters and pray for healing.

If you are lead to donate items or your time, we at Spirit Fed would appreciate your offering of any kind. We are blessed to be a blessing.

As God moves, we move.

We had so many donations of brisket, chicken, sweets, drinks etc..., The Good people at The American Legion Hall were so overly generous in letting us use their facility complete with restrooms, picnic tables under a covered patio and plenty of parking (Gods Favor).

KHOU news channel 11, even came out and interviewed Robert and Janet, this was shown on last nights 6:00pm newscast.

Thanks to all who purchased plates and made donations, Thanks to all who came out to help, we had so many wanting to serve that we were literally bumping into each other under the tents.

We are so proud and humbled to be used by God, we were blessed to serve with a great ministry of friends we call The D.O.G.S. for together we are stronger.

From Spirit Fed to you, again we say thank you so very much for making this a great and very successful event.

Whether we feed a ball team, a neighborhood, good friends or a family in need, we set out to simply be the hands and feet of Jesus.

This is who we are, this is what we do.

We are praying for you today, that God would touch you in an unprecedented way, that his love and mercy just engulf you and that you will know of his deep love for you.

God is so faithful and he comes through everytime!

The Ripley house outreach was a huge success, we had a great turnout on a hot beatuful day. All of us at Spirit Fed want to thank all of the volunteers that gave of their Saturday to reach out to others, The Prayer tent was anointed and stood on Holy Ground all day long, so many came and recieved prayer, families, neighbors all were welcomed with loving arms.

The Praise team of Eva Rodriquez, Melissa Balderas and The Glories from the Open Door ushered in the Spirit of God and prepared our hearts for Phillip Garcia's timely and wonderful mesage. Souls were won for the Lord, with the first being a little 9 year old boy who was there early in the morning.

The Softball Title went to The Open Door Mission in a close and intense 2 run game, both teams deserve a great hand for enduring the heat and for being such gentlemen throughout this game, after each inning the teams would meet on the pitchers mound to gather in prayer, Jim Lewis and Dr. Joel Salazar were the official umps for the game and they did a bang up job!.

Thanks to all who donated to this outreach, we believe that God will double your portion for believing in his work.

The I Am's of Jesus.

The I AM’s of Jesus

The mighty God of the universe calls Himself I AM. In Exodus 3:14, the Bible says, "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM" (KJV). Moses had said, "When I go down to Egypt and the people ask me who sent me, what shall I tell them" (Cf. Exodus 3:13). God said, "You tell them that I AM sent you."

Jesus completed the statement that was given to Moses. Seven times in the Gospel of John He uses the expression, "I am." First He said, "I am the bread of life.He who comes to Me shall never hunger" (John 6:35).

A doctor in America said some time ago that more people die of loneliness and guilt and depression and insecurity and heart hunger than die of physical starvation. Bread in the Bible is the symbol of spiritual life. People all over the world are the same; they have an inborn hunger for something, and that something is Christ. People cannot be satisfied with anything less than Christ. Jesus said, "I am the living bread which came down from heaven" (Cf. John 6:33). "If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever" (John 6:51).
________________________________________________________________________
Second, Jesus said, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12). Scientists say they do not know what light is. We know the effects of the sun, but we don't exactly know all about it. We know that no plant or animal or human life on this earth can live without light.

God put the sun a precise distance from the earth. If the sun were a few kilometers closer to us, we would all be burned up. If it were farther from us, we would freeze to death.
What the sun is to the earth, Jesus Christ is to the human heart. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life" (John 8:12).
________________________________________________________________________
Third, Jesus said, "I am the door" (John 10:9). Every building I've ever been in has an entrance somewhere. The Kingdom of God also has an entrance. It is Jesus Christ. Jesus was probably familiar with doors because He was the son of a carpenter. He had probably made many doors. Now, a building may have many doors. But God has only one door to His Kingdom, and that door is Jesus Christ.
________________________________________________________________________
Fourth, Jesus said, "I am the true vine" (John 15:1). It was close to the time when He was to die, and He was having a last meal with His disciples. He said some wonderful things to them. He said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit" (John 15:5).

When you receive Christ, He gives you the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit produces fruit in your life. What kind of fruit? Love. He gives you supernatural power to love even people you don't like. Joy is another fruit. Joy in the midst of all kinds of problems and suffering. There's peace. You have peace in your heart. And then you have patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control. These are produced by the Holy Spirit. And you can live that kind of life with the help of the Holy Spirit.
________________________________________________________________________
Fifth, Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep" (John 10:11). Sheep could not exist without a shepherd. The wolves and the wild dogs and the thieves would get them. And they would wander off, because sheep cannot see very far. The Bible says, "All we like sheep have gone astray" (Isaiah 53:6). Man is like sheep. We wander around blind; we get lost. We're lost from God. We've strayed from God. This is where we must remain steadfast (look to Jesus, always look to Jesus)
______________________________________________________________________
Sixth, Jesus said in John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life." He offers us eternal life. One day one of Jesus' friends died, and Jesus raised him from the dead. He said to Lazarus, "Lazarus, come forth!" And Lazarus came out of the grave (John 11:11-44). This is an example of what Jesus can do for us spiritually. We can become new creatures. Jesus said we can be born again, and we don't have to enter our mother's womb to be born again (John 3:3-7). We are born again spiritually. ________________________________________________________________________
Seventh, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). In John 6:44, He says, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." This is how we come to God. The Holy Spirit will use an incident in your life to speak to you. It may be when you're quietly meditating or thinking. Or it may be when you're walking down the street with thousands of people. In the midst of all those people God can speak to you. He uses the Holy Spirit to convict people of their need of God. He draws us. He urges us to receive His Son, Jesus Christ, as the fulfillment of our life, the One who can forgive our sins, the One who can give us eternal life. Will you make that commitment?

Can you make that commitment ?

The message I have shared with you today are excerpts from a sermon given by Billy Graham in Shanghai China on April 24th 1988.

Billy Graham has preached the Gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history—over 215 million people in more than 185 countries and territories. Hundreds of millions more have been reached through the various ministries of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

In 2008, I was very honored to be on a team of men that traveled to North Carolina, in order to present a Man Up conference For Pastor Brad Mullins church in Fort Mills, when we first arrived we went straight to the Billy Graham Library, and as we walked the grounds and toured this state of the art facility, you couldn’t help but notice the presence of God in Mr. Grahams life, you couldn’t help but notice the passion and fire that he has for bringing men and women to know Jesus Christ.

You see he made a commitment !
He made a commitment to follow the true I AM !!
Are you willing to follow the True I AM, THAT I AM
I encourage you, that as you are out there at work , at home , at the park or even at church and God directs you to a certain person, make sure to tell them That I AM sent you.

You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies. Psalm 23:5 (NCV) Pause and envision the scene in [God's] royal dining room.... Driven not by our beauty but by his promise, he calls us to himself and invites us to take a permanent place at his table.... We take our place next to the other sinners-made-saints and we share in God's glory. May we share a partial list of what awaits you at his table? You are beyond condemnation (Rom. 8:1). You are a member of his kingdom (Col. 1:13). You have been adopted (Rom. 8:15). You have access to God at any moment (Eph. 2:18) "You will never be abandoned (Heb. 13:5). You have an imperishable inheritance (1 Pet. 1:4)."
