despair is my only companion
strife is coming out soon
new dawn or only oblivion

enticing light, show me the truth
is it only for others you bear your fruit
i begin to love the darkness, the only thing i see

Chains

The first time my eyes opened, i saw your face
as i laid beside my siblings, close to mother's breasts,
your sweet scent i have never forgotten...
...and then, you carried me away from them.

To a far land you had taken me,
timely cuddles and kisses, hugs and caresses
a house away from home
a new family to love and call my own.

I smell your swift march in the morning
and cried when you left without a trace,
cant wait to see you again at sundown
to have your treats, to kiss your face

You sacrificed a lot, i know you did
even if you didnt say a word i sensed it,
i hate to see your sad lonely eyes
can i carry your burden and do your cries?

How lucky i am to be your slave
im so proud to walk the streets, chin's up
master, master, why are you sad?
What should i do to make you glad?

You slapped me everytime i break your things
but i didnt care, because i love you,
all i saw were night strolls and green sundays
that made you smile after a tiring day.

Time came when we had to part
i knew your worried right from the start,
you bought everything that i needed, to keep my norms
i wished for you to visit me always at my new home.

The first night was not that bad
you were beside me when i woke up,
but you left a day after
never saw you again, for weeks and months i suffered.

Master master, where are you now?
i am cold on this pavement with this chain on my neck
master master, is this my new home?
Chewing rotten food, blistering sun, and flies on my bones.

One evening you saw me soaked
i shivered, water got through the roof,
master master where have you been?
I felt your hug, your warm tears combined with rain.

You took me inside and helped me dry out
you took away the insects that made these scars,
you fed me my favorite food, made me smile
we laid together, drift through the night.

I woke up alone with this cold thing near my feet
the painful iron chains are again on my neck,
master how could you, left me again like this
i need you, i need your help out of this mess.

Master master, where are you now?
I am cold on this pavement with this chain on my neck,
master master, the insect bites, they hurt
slowly sucking the life out your slave.

I miss you my master i wish you were here
take away the torments, drive away my fears,
i need to see your face, your warmth i want to feel
this coldness creeps inside of me, my agonizing hell.

A night of darkness came and i heared your voice
i was so happy i wanted to jump for joy,
you said you'll bring me back home, back to your throne
all i did was whisper your name, i couldnt speak a tone.

I knew you still cared master
and did what you must do,
leaving me was your only choice
a sacrifice to go through.

I am very sorry, they already covered my eyes
i cant see you clearly now, how hard i tried,
it is difficult to stand to welcome you back...
...everything is now fading to black.

Thank you master for coming back
all i needed was to hear you voice afar from this shack,
remembering me, made me happy and made me smile
goodbye my master, its my turn to leave now.

The Mirror

Cold palms on my eyes
Take away the warmth inside
Can still smell pain’s presence in the air
Broken mirror left in the shade

Torment of the fourth came
Tiny needles pricked my fire
Not done, just go back to sleep
Slapped me through the wire

I shouldn’t feel that way
Not planned, don’t make a sound
Greater mishaps came before you
I thought, on a rock my house was bound

Innocence in a cradle…
…Below the shadow of a wolf
Cries of fear or are they howling together
Singing songs of lust

We only have a day to spare
To see the stars beside the sun
Was already claimed by someone
Someone else closer than the sound

Pureness of white, tainted by events
Great horns concealed by fake halo
Temple you built and destroyed
I still trust you, but I don’t believe you

Still I kneeled down to pick up the pieces
Sliced my finger in gluing them
But ugly reflection I saw, couldn’t bear
Broken mirror… are you worth keeping?

The Moon

Getting tired and weary
As darkness hid my path
I cant see, still i walk
Hoping to reach you, hear my thoughts

Crumpled papers on the floor
Doubts and fears dance with silence
Water from lonely eyes, streams
Filling up the emptiness within

Thwarting obstruction keeps up apart
Bittersweet thorns of life
The truth, you wont care to see
Observed only the shadow of the tree

Though the glass, i see you
The best time of the day of strains
Ignored and muted my voice sent to the air

ill fix her wings and help her fly

never ever let her crawl

we'll chase the winds, through storm's brawl

through thick and thin forever we'll be
atop alps so high, within deep blue sea
we'll never change, we'll never cry
let dreams come true, forever we'll smile

when there is love and dreams come true,
ill wake up soon, never be blue
to see her face, to watch it glow
we'll witness the day, when grass will grow

but barren waste, this life of mine
still searching for gold from pits combined
endless hunger, endless thrist

The Garden

a bud from the wild
took it and panted in my yard,
innocent and real
happiness to a bard.

leaves glowing then
cared for it, and saw it bloom,
she grew as i wished for
a beautiful flower but filled with gloom...

coz a golden seed fell
right next to it,
from a hungry bird,
who dropped and never noticed it...

couldnt do a thing,
left it grow,
with spikes of gold,
i cant just plow.

i was so happy then,
she made me think,
golden petals can buy me anything..
with just a wink..

my old plant cried
she hoped she whither fast
tears fell from the leaves,
"how long will this last?"

but still she cares,
still hanging on,
barely breathing,
pretend nothing's wrong...

i was never happy
at least tried, bothered:
money cant buy love
and pity cant, neither...

on the path to darkness
i saw a light,
brown petals, and black leaves
an angel in flight.

a bud i never picked up,
and never noticed her change,
it was a foggy forest back then when
i was still leashed and chained...

i took her, grabbed her vines
fit perfectly the gaps of my hands,
linked, connected, intertwined...

i forgot who i was
the moment i saw her
i was mesmerized
and kneeled before her..

i planted her in my heart..
not my garden, cruel i am,
hid many things, never made a fuss
i also hid my pain by doing such

coz seeing her happy,
makes my heart pound
coming clean, worries me
it might halt her joy down..

and she taught me how to live again,
to love without conditions,
i know the risks of having her
a life with contradictions...

are we destined together?
i wish she will wait and understand...
want her to believe (please do)
that i can make a stand.

she's the only flower that knows the real me...
with just a short span of time...
she's now deeply rooted in my heart
preparing my garden only for her, would be smart.

The Encounter (Part II)

It was like magic... the modern-day lamp summoned the genie that granted my wish.. Only a few clicks of the send button and a few hours of waiting... she appeared at the gate...

Basking in the sun, her magnificent physique dazzled me as she stepped into my world..

It was after lunch when we realized we needed to do something... we needed to extinguish the burning desire that possessed our bodies... the heat... the yearning to quench the thirst... (giuhaw ra gud)

We went out to the enchanted world of “Mr. J”... a place where mystic tunes filled the air... magical floating cut-rate bottles of liqour greet the guests (5-peso additional crushed ice not included)...

We settled at the corner of the room...

The conversation started... was amazed how well it went (at least i thought it did)...

Always caught ... staring at her... mesmerized... she smiled like an angel... the outcome hit me like wildfire... burning anything that’s inside me... such beauty... up close and personal....

and the never-ending exhange of role as the “gunner” never ceased to amuse me (chuckles)...

... the way she danced... wow... it left me tongue-tied... hell yes....

then she held my hand...

then we kissed...

...and she tasted good....

The Encounter

....i forgot where she came from

just like a shadow of the mist after the rain...

forgot what she wore....

she carried something..

was that a bag..? ..hmmmn...

the only thing imprinted in me was her eyes...

pierced through my heart like a poison-tipped spear....(felt my knees shaking)

and her smile, sweet as honey bathed me in the moonlight......

then she embraced me...............

...can still feel her warmth, supplanted the coldness of my icy heart

and then...

everything went BLANK....

i stood at the exit.. and SHE WAS GONE.................
