The background of this incident being that he was being more than normal s***** in a class of students that i amongst others was tending to but somehow he realized that and came to me after the session and said all this. Before I could part with him he said something that stuck with me for a while longer than some of the other things that he and other's had said. His statement was and I quote " yar app aik uchay insaan ho". The reason why this stuck longer than usuall was that this wasn't the first time I had heard that being said to me or to many others over various channels, and I had never really processed this statement until than.

The strangest part that I , upon thinking over it , came across is why is it that when a person does his social duty, like I attended to his questions without loosing patience, like someone I over heard on the street saying to someone the same thing just because the later of the two gave some money to a beggar in the street, is he referred to as a good human. Has humanity sunk to such an extent that our animalistic behaviors can easily be surpassed by the slightest of humanly efforts. Why is it that the social norms have decomposed to an extent that this statement need to be credited to humans upon deeds that should need no acknowledgement in the first place.

When I told that particular person that I was only present there to assist in all possible situations, he responded with this line, but now I just realized that he was being stupid again. I am not a good human being, for I still have desires.

The most important of all things is that today while baby sitting I realized a lot of things. For one I realized that humans have great potential which mostly is seen as an appetite for destruction but the potential is there. Amongst other things I noticed the ability to adapt and learn, though trivial as it may sound but the human brain possesses a great desire to incorporate in itself almost every thing that it encounters. For instance a one year old detects motion very easily and tries to make sense of it. The motion of the birds in the sky to cats moving across the lawn. The flutter of butterfly wings across a cars windows may not fascinate us but they certainly seem exciting to a 1year old.

Impressive though man's capability is to develop his thoughts, even greater is it's loss when it loses the ability to be inspired.

It tells a story in itself that still out there lay things that are unknown. The accomplishment maybe on mammoth proportions or it might be something as simple as learning how to tie your own shoe laces, but the fact remains that the feelings acquired in the moment, in that one instance of time that will forever be veiled by history, are in a sense at the pinnacle of emotional absorption.

One may ignore absorbing such beautiful emotions, but this action certainly cant deny their existance. I have recently learned to open my mind to such powerful exposures, short burst of energy that the universe throws down on me. Result being that i have learned to accept things readily. One can argue that coping with certain sircumstances can be very hard at times and thus restricts the minds exposure to such fantasies, however on the contrary, learning to accept certain realities becomes just as easy.

From certain influences I have gathered that science and morals when taken in parallel require certain lines to be drawn. Lines that impose limits. Necessary as it maybe to limit ones true potential, it still doesnt hinder in the progress of science. However its obvious that its ones own mindframe that defines his potential and thus his self imposed limits.

What is interesting here is that although the lines maybe there for a very good reason, can the feeling of crossing them be acquired in any other way? If not than its just telling me to go this way to acquire that exposure, to get another fix of perhaps the most ultimate drug of all. This one is than designed by GOD .. !!!

Self:
09:41pm
5th of Jan, 2012

Though, a kiss is norm in time like ours, its still considered taboo in many eastern cultures. A kiss can elucidate many complex feelings. A good kiss, or with the right person, can however establish a healthy relationship, deepening the already existant feelings of Love. Chemicals in the saliva have been associated to indicate a potential suitability of mate.

From a scientific study quoted by Wendy Hill speaking at a session on the “Science of Kissing”, along with Helen Fisher of Rutgers University and Donald Lateiner of Ohio Wesleyan University showed that couples engaging in kissing for periods upto and around 15 minutes showed strengthening in levels of oxytocin for males, a factors that responsible for bonding and variatiosn in levels of cortisol, a factor responsible for stress.

After kissing cortisol levels declined in both sexes, whereas oxytocin increased in men only and decreased in women (a note to men: do not engage in casing oftenly, it might do more harm than good :p ) .

Kissing is all about neurotransmitters and levels of dopamine. Science may also judge a kiss as a potential match maker desciding the fate of the couple. Men in general (at least these days) consider kissing as first base to coitus, but a kiss is nore than that, infact its a cascade of events. It leads to the secretion of chemicals that would eventually judge the kiss based on a multitude of factors like scent, taste, feel etc.

Going back to the beginning, Philematology is the study of kissing in science. Prohibited, taboo or non-practised, one needs to admitt that its still a significant part of our lives and may dictate more terms in our lives when it comes to our loved ones than we even realize. Perhaps further research may shed light into the area of Philematology, for now the choice is upto the people.

NOTE: Kissing may not always be healthy (refer to EBV causing Infectious mononucleosis ) or productive (for guys), so use this practice at your own risk.

That's the simplest way to put it. You give the network an input or a set of inputs and it generates a subsequent output. Based on the training level of the network, the output could be good, bad or ugly....

So how do you train the network? Well there are types of neural networks, i will just talk about a simple perceptron a.k.a feedforward supervised ones. I dont know about the others yet ....

Under supervised learning you give the network inputs and outputs. The network tries to create the output, then matches its output to the one you provided, measures the error, and adjusts itself so that if the same input is provided again it creates a correct result (the one you provided) . This process is repeated for as many training data sets available .... the better you train it, the better the rookie would turn out to be. For every training data set provided the intermediate processes leading to the creation of the output are adjusted so after this you have a trained network... wow sounds easy right ... :P

Anyway so then what you do is give it some sets of whose outputs are known, but the network has never seen them before, just to see if the networks smart enough yet or not. If the network stands the test than its ready to be put into the field and tried with some real real data ...

Onto the mathematics now:

ok so the X(o) to X(n) are the inputs and W(o) to W(n) are the weights. In the pink ball they are all summed up with a little bias (meaning you take an input say 2 X(2) and you multiply it by its corresponding weight W2) ..... so doing the same with all the inputs would gives you the output, bias is un-ignorable. The adjustment talked above is done in the weights by back projecting the error to corresponding weights. Hence each weight is adjusted properly. A network with layers (hidden layers) inbetween the input and the output would be better then the one with no intermediate layers, as more layers more weights and more weights more adjustment possible and more the adjustment the better the outcome. As i said here is the maths :

Net is the output of the pink ball in the diagram. But what does it output, for that you need to go back to the begining (just kidding ... :P) you need to think of the network as a logic switch or something ... if the network gives an output it means the output of the network is 1 otherwise 0. So what determines the output should have been the question in your head, no worries if its not i have to write about it anyway. The “Net” is the value seen by the pink ball in the diagram above.... This pink ball has a threshold function like:

meaning for outputs lesser or equal to zero the output is 0 and 1 otherwise. This is a simple example of the threshold function. A more common one is the logistic function:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 83px; height: 61px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/S9mOA_no2WI/AAAAAAAAAKs/1p4GcjOy8xI/s200/4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465555770519640418" />

(appologies for different symbols but these equations i am copying from other sources, cause my equation tool box just broke down so just bare with me ......)

For now i am tired, but what i have shown you above would give you a starting point, cause it gave me one, however i read a lot to form this summary that i wrote above ... that was because i could not find all this information on one page to get this started...

Editing tools have a huge role to play in this accelerated development, making you look “HAWT” in the virtual environment. The environment helps in making people who are incapable of achieving something in the real world do so in the Virtual world. For starters when you choose an avatar, you try to make it look as fancy and attractive as possible, in short giving it a stable and wanted social personality. Once your in the virtual world, you determine a set of rules, mostly unconsciously, for your character to follow since its still you controlling it. You move into newer environments and slowly those set rules begin to change and exhibit a multitude of changes in the avatars personality. All this so that you can tweak you virtual life so that the opposite sex is more attracted towards you.

With more and more add-ons added to every application the virtual life just keeps getting better and better. But how does this play on a the real persons personality, instead of others will talk about myself. I started using one of these applications and I got the hang of things in about 15 minutes. After that I spent almost ten hours the first day, playing out all the things in my mind that I couldn't achieve in the real world. During my presence there observed that many people behaved in the worst ethical way, but then who said that internet was a good thing !!!!!

90% of the environment of the application was directly related to offensive stuff, where as the rest of the 10% was related indirectly. However with many people in attendance on that virtual environment mostly enjoyed so the developers must have thought well about the basic theme of the application.

Here is a small clip picked of from youtube to give those not members of a 3-D environment, a small overview.

This video is from the imvu chat client that recently announced 20million users (was uploaded by the IMVU developers):

Point being that , virtual reality, where the brain would actually feel what goes on in the environment is not unheard of. With so much addiction, what will become of the violence in people that they are incapable of practising in the real world. With more reality coming into the virtual environment what are the worst possible outcomes of this?

Meanwhile, Internet has always been advantageous, if a little more effort of socializing man in better way is considered, this could be the best advancement yet. One such way would be making it more academic, putting up virtual libraries, with electronic books seems like a good start. But then this might not raise the profit levels much which the developers originally have in mind, would it?

3-D environments, like 'imvu', '2nd life', '3-d chat' have more control now then ordinary chat ever had, with the power of visual impressions now integrated displaying advertisements in the virtual world have become easier then ever before. This idea is also brought on by the fact that near a million people attend such environments on a daily base.

Chinese fireworks laid the foundation to everything that we have put in space today.

Starting of with a brief history of how it all started, we go back to about the early nineteenth century to pay homage to Goddard, the father of modern day rockets. Rockets use huge quantities of fuel to produce thrust which accelerates them so that by nowadays standards its able to break free from the earth gravitational pull [by achieving a speed higher then the earth's escape velocity] and enter space.

This is a j-2 rocket engine which is typical in space flights.

These are the common solid rocket boosters which have fuel tanks and during the flight these are dis-engaged after their fuels have been consumed. Now some part of that opposite reaction is what takes the body upwards is say some cause there are huge amounts of losses. The detail analysis of thermodynamics going on at the launch time would yield loads of losses but I am not going into that for now lets keep it straight and simple.

The science of fuel that's good is that its nature friendly ... hydrogen is typically used in space shuttle launches. Hydrogen in the presence of Oxygen forms a combustible combination but the bad thing is that its hell expensive.

Space Shuttle [Rockets]:

The single most Important part of a Rockets structure is its nozzle. Its what converts the thermal energy from the propellant into kinetic energy which moves the rocket. Hence the nozzle is what moves the rocket so an efficiently designed nozzle can work wonders.

Here's a cap of the nozzle....

F= Thrust Force
      = Mass Flow Rate
v[exit]=exhaust gas velocity at the nozzle exit
p[exit]= pressure of the exhaust gases at the nozzle exit

p[inf] = ambient pressure of the atmosphere

A[exit]= cross-sectional area of the nozzle exit

This is an over simplified diagram of a nozzle, whereas the reality is far far complex. In short just to develop understanding, the gases combust in the narrow area and then expand downwards. The thermodynamic forces are converted to thrust, this relationship according to the diagram can be expressed as under,

This equations generalizes the forces in the above diagrams and roughly predicts the amount of force created by a certain mass flow rate.

Whats happening in the industry nowadays:

Well fuel efficiency is being worked on, so that the same fuel can carry the furthest distance.

Improved ways of flying are being considered, even if it requires a complete redesign.
Here's a picture of what the Armadillo people have come up with.

Faster, as much as possible cause the distances in outer space are un-imaginable. Faster is whats required so that more exploration can be done in as little a period of time.

The most important of all is to make everything a whole lot safer .... the few incidents that rocked this industry need to be looked into more closely so that the future of space travel through rockets can be made a whole lot safe.

The humans stepped forward and in came the present.

Present:

The present has two part the devices created by the visionaries of the past and some visionaries of its own who are developing for the future.

So what's in today: TFT-LCD .... its the crystal technology.

SO here are the issues with it .... its light weight but not as cool in display as the CRT's... the polarization part and the filters do not make good viewing at inclined angles.... yet its sharp. Another problem, the crystal are too slow to act so these things are not good with Fast Moving Displays, yet they save energy as they consume much less then the CRT monitors.

The LCD's the display still isn't good enough to fit in a pocket but it was a positive step. Sony, Samsung followed and these guys just totally revolutionized the Industry....

Here's a cap of a 1cm display [TV but can incorporate monitor display] by Samsung

These people are just going on and on and made smaller, better, sharper .... the only thing that they aren't do was making these cheaper. Ok so back to Monitors now.

Lets see what the Future holds.

Future:

The visionaries of the present are looking forward to taking the display experience to the next level. LCD's looked like a good option, as you have noticed humans are never satisfied, they are always looking for something new, better and improved. Incomes the era of touch screens .... one can call them a more advanced form of LCD's. Uptil a few moths back, touch screens were only found in a few hand picked devices namely cell phones [ a lot of them had it ], a few tablet PC's, but now almost everyone who is someone is doing Touchscreen.

Lets talk about the Big guns here.... MicroSoft's who walked in with their research on Touch Light whose purpose was to determine 3-D initially with cameras and "the Surface" yes the surface ... a touch sensitive display that's just not ordinary but highly interactive. For once Microsoft seems to intrigue... The surface costs something between $5000 and $10000 so Microsoft found hotels to partner up with. Sheraton being the first grab the oppertunity.

Microsoft's Surface

Its fitted on a table, well guess again....

This product is based on the Touch Light research and makes new inroads for others to follow. The technology incorporates infrared cameras [4 and the 2 others on the same level] to detect touch on screen and a projector[2] display [1] with the processor[3].

So why is it that its already here and i wrote it in the Future, well because, it is the future for now. The surface is just the tip of the iceberg....I am looking for thin air displays like holograms and stuff and they are not far of too. Helio Display is already out there......

You wont even need a pocket to fit that.

Underneath the display, there's a track ball; Menu, Home, and Back buttons, and buttons to pick up and end calls. Volume and camera controls like all the major players are on the sides of the handset, and the 3-megapixel camera is on the back.

Sliding the screen reveals a comfortable little QWERTY keyboard. The domed keys are OK but no where close to as cool as the Black Berry Curve keys. The G1 opens up at a configurable home screen onto which you can drop any application, Google search box.

From an overall perspective its a Cell Phone Industry war.... Comparing both phones you will see that there's no difference apart from the outlook and that the G-phone has a real keyboard against the virtual one of I-phone. Other distinctions are free applications for G-phone against the paid applications for the I-phone and of course the G1 has cheaper service plans.

The money, the one thing Google has in plenty is now invested by luring developers to develop for the Android's open source environment. Giving developers a temptation is one way of launching their environment globally. Lets see who remains standing at the end of this.

I will try to keep it simple so that you guys can understand the applications.

FEA: commonly used abbreviation of Finite Element Analysis.
[It is also referred to as Finite Element Method]

Its primary use is to convert difficult mathematical equations to easier ones. The resulting equations are stable to minimize errors. The Finite Element Analysis is a good choice for solving partial differential equations [PDE] over complex domains (like cars and oil pipelines), when the domain changes (as during a solid state reaction with a moving boundary), when the desired precision varies over the entire domain, or when the solution lacks smoothness.A simple FEA analysis, apparently not simple but lets just say that for now .. can reduce the complexity of the modeling scenario.

Application:

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SP9H6hqHYdI/AAAAAAAAAD4/dE7D1CtHMA0/s200/Lab3001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260001960585028050" />A very common application is investigating car crashes. Designing a car in such a way that the passengers bear minimal damage. FEA does this job. The image below is one scenario in which FEA will ensure proper design prameters for maximum protection.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SP9MTAEsxtI/AAAAAAAAAEA/QHS2OQij6sQ/s200/1216130354345_d3_19.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260006779112965842" />

Other applications of this field include simulation of the machine parts and mechanisms.

FEA is a very important subject in Engineering now, and a lot of design modeling these days are done with FEA in consideration.

[part 2]

Well lets continue now from where we last left of.

I would like you guys to follow me inside the science of creating VR environments. I will use real time from the experts details....

VR: The Environment....

To start of, there are already environments that provide the basics like VRML.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyTrcbDTmI/AAAAAAAAACw/6OmLn67FP7M/s200/vrml_title.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259240839435210338" />Working on these environments is helpful as they have in built special functions that save you a lot of work. But they sometime restrict you as well. The developer starts with an environment....<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyUnNk8o1I/AAAAAAAAAC4/6fm-sgnrvMA/s200/insidecanyons.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259241866242335570" />.... although anything can be made in this environment but lets talk about a second world... we need to have a background ... so we integrate 3-d textures... there are two ways of doing that either by capturing 3-d images and importing them into the computer or by drawing ...3-D motion capture is very in with the advanced level video games but it can be employed for VR purposes as well ..... like .....<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyVm575GfI/AAAAAAAAADA/oy6LMShigjc/s200/benWhite.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259242960481491442" /> ........Once the background kicks in you would require object like humans, roads, cars etc. The issue with these is that if you are going from base up you will need to work a lot in terms of defining the objects values.
If you read the last post you would know that any object in the computers environment if required to act like real needs to be based on a physics engine... the languages like VRML give that however if you want to build something from scratch you will need to work with functions that give objects properties like solid shape and weight and if something goes up it has to come down. This is referred to as OOI [object object interaction]. Going into details we know that it has to have a solid shape and that if it falls from a considerable height it breaks and stuff, a table should be stable on four legs...<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyWIpzG09I/AAAAAAAAADI/gBiB9TVRf40/s200/vrml2.2.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259243540265227218" />
... The basic point of doing all this is that once a virtual environment is built and one enters inside it it needs to have the same value of perception.... cause if it doesn't if up and down don't make sense there are chances that the person might go crazy....

A little more on creating objects:

Some of you might be familiar with wire frame modeling.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyMqonBgPI/AAAAAAAAACo/Qk4eCS03krc/s200/Sphere-wireframe.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259233128945385714" /> Mostly being employed in the animation industries a wire frame model is made into the right shape and then animated. Something similar applies here.... the difference in animation and VR is that in animation you just make something and it always moves like that however in VR, object created are based on an engine and the mathematical functions in that engine define with conditions how the object behaves... its more like intelligent. Even a single object that acts out of place can cause an anomaly in the entire system like NEO in Matrix :) Therefore with every thing dealt with we move on.
The next step is getting ourselves into the system cause otherwise it would just be a very lame no-purpose game.

Getting into the system:

Once we model ourselves into the environment we need to sync out real activities [in our thoughts of course] to the Virtual ones.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyW5G75YKI/AAAAAAAAADQ/AIxnr9ny4zw/s200/vrml_profil.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259244372720443554" />

From a base level, what do we require to enter the VR's environment? We need a connection. Now there are two ways of doing this. Either the brain can go in the environment or the environment can come into the brain. Easier said then done, whats more easy is to take the brain into the environment.... how?

Method 1:

Starting of with a basic understanding ... brain is home to thoughts , each thought generates electrical impulses.... which reach out to different locations and produce results. We gather a thought's impulses , digitize them and transfer into the computer and integrate with the object, we have ourselves a moving object.

Method 2:

The second case is what's already here. You find tonnes of VR equipment on sales which what it does is bring the environment into your brain. This is easier because every thought is different and results in a different response hence categorizing every thought is much much more difficult.

Now onto the toughest part yet.... How to make the brain feel what goes on once the person touches an object? This can only happen in one way and that's the exact reverse of method one .... take the actions convert them to signals and throw them into the brain .... this sound much easy but the fact of the matter being that no is aware of where to throw which signal. The human brain is a very very complex organ if it can be called that. Even brain science people don't know with surety which sections pertain to which feelings. An EEG <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyYCpYi59I/AAAAAAAAADY/F3xUh2tXQq8/s200/EEG_head.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259245636097861586" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPyYMb9RcTI/AAAAAAAAADg/bSxObHvw45Y/s200/eeg2a.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259245804292501810" />

can perfectly tell which area of the brain is more active when a person is thinking or doing what but the reverse is not so easy.

Now coming to the bottom line we say that today its not possible to develop something that truly fits VR's definition but maybe tomorrow we can have a second life with the power of doing whatever we want. How will humans react to such power. The future holds this and I personally think that only within the next 8-10 odd years we will find out what sort of a person being exposed to a second life
will bring out in all of us.

[part 1] :

Since we are on the topic of reality synthesizers i am adding this multi-post entry which is supposed to brief and then talk about the science in the modern day Virtualy Reality systems. All of you who are already knowledgeable on the subject should please hold patience, everybody will find something in this entry.

Virtual Reality { Definition }:

The use of number crunching power of a computer to re-create a world similar to ours where humans play god can in my terms refer to virtual reality. This might not be what the professionals of this industry say but having worked on it my self, i define it this way. That's because an ideal VR {short for virtual reality system} would be able to give powers to the user like being able to create at will and fell what they want whenever they want..... this might sound something out of the movie MATRIX but it is....

End of defination.

OverView:

The concept of VR according to some critic sources emanated from defense labs as did a lot of other things that we see around us right now. This, environment as i would like to call it, was created basically for the army to assist in developing, testing and analyzing the parameters of missiles. But what the developers didn't realize was that the creation had a huge potential. In just 20 years, when a lot of enthusiast developers jumped onto the bandwagon VR started finding its uses in the field of Medicine, training and most importantly of all entertainment.

Lets briefly touch all of these:

Medicine:

Maybe medicine would be the wrong word to explain the use of VR here a better selection would be human treatment. Its practiced as an un-orthodox form of therapy at this point in time but the fact is that it has definitely made in roads. The treatment is for removing fear.Like from height, dogs, lizards, rats , spiders etc. The person in charge i.e. the therapist exposes the patient in the virtual environment to these factors gradually off course... and thus by the end of the therapy the patient is cured. Its just a start, lets see what VR does tomorrow to this field.

Training:
This might be a wrong category as well, but you will get the point i am trying to make here. People training to become pilots are made to train in flight simulators.....astronauts getting a touch of zero gravity down here ... employ simulators.... {details will follow in the upcoming posts}... these people are made to experience what it would be like in the real time. A latest addition to these old ones would be para troopers training on simulator.....Simulators can be referred to as the cousins of VR systems.....

Entertainment:

This by far is the most important achievement, if any for VR systems. Apparently most of you would have heard of 2nd life.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPoLHSCEAGI/AAAAAAAAACg/ptm4MhNT2yI/s200/podcastlogo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258527734635954274" />

An environment that lives up to its name, gives a 2nd life. Yes you go install, make a small level profile, get a character give it a name <img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPn6C-XcVSI/AAAAAAAAACA/YvumQSKIc3A/s200/what+you+want.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258508968939771170" /> and you have a second life. Starting of with some cash {well before it gets out of hand lets return to the topic.... will write on second life some other time.} you have a second life. This is just not a simple game of some kind .... corporates have taken this so seriously that they have even bought spaces on the 3-d textured environment. Second life is just the tip of the ice berg which opens up to a lot more advanced application building in these fronts of technology.

So what is to come? Will people leave this reality to find a peacefull life in something like second life or will they just spread chaos and hate, in them like they have done here on this planet. This can only be predicted by time itself, but one thing is for sure, the future has a lot to un-veil lets wait and see what comes out next.

Its basically the physics engine, upon which the entire game is based. A physics engine is what tries to duplicate all known physical laws of the real world and mimics them through standard modeled equations into the computer world. Hence a good gaming console will have a good physics engine. So basically what would make a physics engine good or worthwhile is the incorporation of the correctly modeled equations. The efficient the equation is the more closer to reality the effect in the console is produced. But its just not the effect but the speed that matters as well. A slow running game like the one below is no fun. This video shows how not using an RSX can impact game play.

Now don't end up watching the entire video, its to boring even to watch, let alone play.

So its the quality and the speed at which the physics engine executes that make it good. So what is inside the RSX, well to start of it has multi-tasking, employing cell technology.Meaning in layman terms that one cell performs one task while the other at that very same moment is performing another. So when both processes are completed only once cycle is spent. Hence good effects are produced at better speeds. The architecture of the RSX makes it not just fast but more smarter at the same time, resulting in an all new level of gaming experience.

RSX, is just the tip of the iceberg now. With so much being accomplished now who knows what may follow tomorrow.

Here is a sheer display of the PS3's super power courtesy NVIDIA....

A co-creation of NVIDIA and Sony, RSX by far has the most to offer. From stunning immersible quality to almost real life imitations. RSX is what gives PS3 its life force... Although some of you might consider the life factor to be associated to a power cable but here for the PS3, its this processor, its what makes PS3 truly stand out.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPiFp1M6A5I/AAAAAAAAABw/h-mH9sLV7H0/s200/PS3withconroller.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258099518657397650" />So PS3 get what it wants from the NVIDIA techs, a good engine and a super cool launch living up to the buzz and expectations and beating some good old sales records, also not to forget that the RSX basis itself on the G series processors in the NVIDIA's inventory..... but what do the NVIDIA people get?

Some people were predicting in the early 2006 with some rumors over NVIDIA claiming and letting go of royalties, that NVIDIA should be looking into a whole lot more apart from just royalties. This now in the late 2008 does appear to be making a mark as NVIDIA uptil now just seems to have sold out a couple of more new end processors. The sales of those hardly being effected by being a co-contributor towards the development of the RSX.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PcRlEqBkddI/SPiGGaSByII/AAAAAAAAAB4/qrNKkcYcpq8/s200/n.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5258100009647327362" />So what, did NVIDIA lose a lot out of this or was it just a marketing stunt that went horribly bad on the NVIDIA corporations side.

Lets not forget that fact that NVIDIA is by far the world leader, and that sure is saying something, in visual computing technologies. They also are the inventor of the GPU, which is a high-performance processor which generates breathtaking, interactive graphics on personal computers, game consoles, and mobile devices. Other mentionable commodities out of NVIDIA labs serves the entertainment and consumer market with the likes of GeForce products, the professional design and visualization market is impacted by its Quadro products, and the high-performance computing market with its Tesla products. So all this said, was the contribution not supposed to provide anything for the NVIDIA Corp, but just suppose to make the people at Sony PS stand there ground against Microsoft and other gaming giants. Well these things can only be answered by some one from the Sony or NVIDIA's marketing department, all we know is that we got a very good machine from all this.

Will talk about how RSX does what it does in the next post.....

Buying something that's cheap because the company offering that product is trying to survive in the market or something that's extremely over priced for no good reason.

Here's a few suggestions that you should look at before making a purchase of a laptop.

Apple, HP, DELL, Toshiba, Gateway, ACER, SONY that's about all the main players i think more or less which i can remember at the moment. So will the apples sleek mac book's design out reach all the rest or being too pricey hamper its own sale. There are buyers who prefer design over whats inside the package. No doubt the Mac book will give you all the reasons to pay for it but why cant Acer beat apple. Is it the marketing of apple, even with tech support problems and hard to find repairs apple will beat every one and sell over priced machinery, but it does give that user touch which others still lack. So the question still remains what to get.. and how to find it?

Start asking your self questions, why do you need it, what good would a core2duo processor be if the dual core is offering the same, how much battery time do i require, will i ever have to show off by playing a cool video game, do i need a biometric finger print reader?

These and many more questions can eventually help you choose much more easily. Start by making a list of your every day requirements. I can list the minimum according to a simple guy who goes to office and require a 1.8 Ghz processor running on a motherboard with 2 gigs of RAM and 120GB worth of space in his HDD to store songs, movies and run an over burdened widows OS. This is the average Joe guy who does a lot of word processing and occasionally here and there plays a small video game that doesn't require the heavy processing that would require a gaming card, or else watches some movies on the 15"screen. This machine on average would cost something in between $650 going up to about $1000. Difference being just the brands. Acer would give the same machine at $700 odd dollars when the same machine would be priced at $850+ for Sony and dell. So center on this and ask the rest of the questions.

Compromising:

Never go for the extremes. Never buy more when the lesser would do just fine, and never buy less when more is the only thing worth considering. The center path always works out. Always price your budgets in such a way that you always save at the end of the day and yet not having to make a compromise on quality.

Note on Laptops:

The most important thing for laptops is the battery timing. No matter how much it is, batteries are always going to die out, and that's a fact, its only a mere usage issue that either declines faster or slowly the battery life, but decline it must. Never base a purchase on what the dealers tell you about the batteries.

Security:

The point of biometrics is just a mere price enhancer. No one really needs it i mean the OS password is more then enough unless you want to be cool and all flashy, showing of too the surrounding that you have a technology wise machine and off course its an add on for no less then anywhere between $80-$200.

Gaming Machine:

Laptops were never designed to be gaming friendly.... so if you want to go to a park and have a quick session of your favorite game you should only then look into having a gaming card.

The entire point of this post is not to suggest anything but only to make the readers, who are not aware what to look for when making a purchase on a laptop, knowledge wise.

Considering this from a layman's point of view its equivalent to putting billboards on the internet.

Online Marketing is a very diverse term incorporating a lot of sub-categories including techniques namely as SEO, SEM, PPC campaigns, Social Media Marketing etc. Online Marketing requires a lot of research before the money can be invested in a campaign. What it all comes down to in the end is making sales for a business selling whatever it has on offer. Sales relate directly to business working online or offline to find a high amount of people interested in its products. On a website the right nature of the traffic matters a lot for a business, a lead that comes to the website, as a result of a campaign looking for shoes will be of no use if the website is offering business automation solutions. The campaign giving such results is entirely worthless.

Lets draft out a PPC marketing campaign strategy for a business offering business automation solutions. What would it be, where should the ads be placed, how much do we have to invest on a per day basis, how much can we afford to pay per click. These questions need answers before a business can correctly run a campaign returning fruitful results. A badly run PPC campaign can do a lot of damage to the business.Whereas a correctly drafted strategy can save a lot on investment. Just for the sake of understanding the banners of a business automation solution if placed in a business neighborhood can be much fruitful rather then placing anywhere else. Such like things are thought of before the correct results are achieved.

With the inclusion of web 2.0 into the realms of the Internet a new category has opened up for the marketing people. They identify Web 2.0 as a place to shape the word of mouth, which of course on the internet travels very fast. Blogs and discussion forums now a days enjoy much attention and through their audience... lots of product related decisions can be influenced. A good impression on just one blogger can have deep penetration into the Internet and can take the word of mouth a long way, and would be much effective for the products foundations if that were positive and as destructive if against the product.

Web 2.0's environment in the form of blogs and social media is now the new front for the venture capitalists. Create a buzz in the internet community and the effect ripple through the internet. A recent popular example would be the launch of apple's iphone. People at apple created the buzz long before the actual launch of the product, which set a good foundation for sales as the product came out.

These online marketing techniques grow ever more powerful as more and more people cuddle into the Internet environment, making online marketing the key to making any business be it online of offline successful.
