For many, many years Wrestling has been a sport of crowded smelly gyms and all day tournaments. This compares to today’s 60 minute sports like Soccer or Basketball. There is no wonder in my mind why there are far more kids participating in those other sports. Not all is lost as many state wrestling associations are adopting new technologies to make our sport of wrestling more compelling and fan friendly.

This Digital Audio Series is a deep discussion on how Team Georgia has used online technologies to grow wrestling in the state of Georgia. This is a very interesting audio for anyone in Georgia that wanted to know why somethings are the way they are and interesting to anyone outside of Georgia to compare to what their state is doing today.

I made this Digital Audio with Roman Weaver the developer of Sport Management Systems who Team Georgia hired to help develop our online State Management System. Roman and I discuss why online registration is not the key and exactly what data Team Georgia is using that is directly related to our ability to promote and grow wrestling.

I hope you find the program enjoyable. If you have any comments or questions, please post them below.
