Review: PUMA Faas 500

This sunny weather can only mean one thing: females will soon be strutting their stuff with next to no clothes on! Sweeping statement aside, it also means that a certain 26.2 mile run is on the horizon.

With the London Marathon taking place this Sunday, Sport.co.uk thought it was only right to celebrate with a ‘little’ run/jog (well, we’re not going to run the ruddy thing!).

And by no coincidence whatsoever, PUMA sent us in a pair of their new PUMA Faas 500..... read more

From Fat Man to Marathon Man: The London Marathon 2011

In life there are winners, losers, and then there are jowly sports journalists who have decided to get married, and, as friends put it, are – “punching massively above their weight.” It’s a fair point, in my case the cat has got the cream, but unfortunately it's full fat and I really couldn’t help myself.

The impending nuptials to a glamorous fiancée, side-boob insecurities, and a quest to see one’s Johnson again, prompted a leap into the unknown, and a vow..... read more

Marathon Special: K-Swiss Kwicky Blade-Light running shoe

Perhaps rather ignorantly I had never associated K-Swiss with running shoes, more tennis and casual wear for some reason, so when a brand spanking new pair of Kwicky Blade-Light’s landed on my desk just a week before the London Marathon, I was suitably intrigued. More so, when I found out they were a new release.
Like most of the American Sportswear’s’ product, the K-Swiss Kwicky Blade-Lights look effortlessly cool; this is no mean feat when you consider some of the horrific efforts..... read more
