Leeds have included centres Kallum Watkins and Carl Ablett in their Challenge Cup final squad, as they look to prove their fitness. Watkins will have a late fitness test ahead of the Wembley showdown with Wigan Warriors and is currently rated 50-50 with a knee injury, even though he was originally expected to miss the showpiece event.Meanwhile, the experienced Ablett looks more likely to feature, with the 25-year-old winning his race to recover from an ankle injury sustained in the defeat..... read more

Morgan excited by push

Justin Morgan said his play-off chasing Hull KR players deserved "great credit" for Sunday's 24-22 win over St Helens. The Craven Park outfit twice had to come from behind to seal a fourth successive home win over Saints and stay a point behind eighth-placed arch-rivals Hull FC.The victory means the Robins must win their last two matches of the regular season against Catalan Dragons and Castleford to secure a top-eight spot.Morgan was satisfied his players has made amends for their Challenge..... read more

Smith wants less sides

Warrington Wolves head-coach Tony Smith believes the Super League should be reduced from 14 to 12 sides in coming seasons. The Wire have been on the winning team in a number of one-sided games this season, with some embarrassing results for the likes of Bradford Bulls and Wakefield Wildcats, who have not been able to cope with the Lancashire outfit. With more and more sides being unable to compete with the top sides, there have been calls to limit the number of..... read more

Smith wants Super League shake-up

Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith has revealed his thoughts on the quality in Super League at the moment. Recently there have been a large number of one-sided results with a large gap between the bottom and top teams, with many players calling for the league to be cut from 14 sides to 12.Wolves themselves beat the half-century for the ninth time last week, after demolishing Wakefield 66-12 and they are now averaging over 40 points a game. However, rather than pleasing..... read more
