Pats lose Broncs getting beat up

We get excited to wear that orange. When we walk in the stadium and see it oranged out, it sends some emotion through the players’ veins and I think that will a lot to do with how we play on Monday night.”

Hosting the Olympics TOO COSTLY?

2011-08-22T23:48:00.001-07:00

WouId want to live in a city hosting the Olympics?
-No way.
I would rather be a volunteer mascot and wander around crowded streets in 95-degree heat and 80 percent humidity while wearing a steaming, furry costume already saturated with the sweat of other volunteer mascots than live in the host city. I receive regular emails from my friend Paul in London ,complaining about the constant budget overruns, increased taxes and hassles ahead of the 2012 Games.
Hosting the Olympics is too costly and too much grief. Chicago's bid for the 2016 Games cost an estimated $48 million, which I'm pretty sure doesn't include the unofficial bribes to the proper International Olympic Committee officials. The estimated cost of actually hosting the Olympics was pegged at $5 billion.

The two schools traded four homers and Nissho Gakuen collected at least one hit in each inning as the game seesawed back-and-forth at Koshien Stadium to open the second round of the tourney. Nissho Gakuen's Yukio Ogasawara let the go-ahead run score on a wild pitch in the top of the ninth and Kosei's Naohiro Imaizumi made a diving catch of a botched squeeze bunt in the bottom half and turned it into a double play that ended the final scoring threat　+READ
