So you want to plan a trip to Las Vegas. Great decision! Now, the question is what are the nicest and fanciest places in town?

So which hotels exactly are the nicest and fanciest? Well good place to start would be the AAA Five Diamond Award winning hotels. These include the Venetian, Bellagio, MGM Skylofts, the Four Seasons, and we certainly can't forget about the Wynn.

Are you looking to do a little high stakes gambling while in town? Don't worry as all of these properties can handle those high limits you enjoy (except the Four Seasons, as it doesn't offer gambling). As of late though, most of the high rollers are enjoying playing at the Wynn, Venetian, and Bellagio.

The Bellagio hotel is the one remembered most for its elaborate fountain show outside of the hotel. This place is truly elegant, and screams of class. It has plenty of fine dining options, and really is a sight to see. While there, check out the Botanical Gardens. It is a garden display next to check in that changes seasonally.

The Venetian is an Italian themed hotel. It has gondolas that go inside the mall, and in front of the hotel. Guests can actually ride in them with singing gondoliers. The Venetian puts an emphasis on Italian themed art and decor. The ceilings are painted like the Sistine Chapel, and the tile work and wall decorations bring the whole look together for a great visual stimulation.

At the top of the MGM Grand, you will find the MGM Skylofts. The Skylofts are great rooms with lots of amenities and luxuries that you won't find in a normal room at the MGM Grand. As far as the MGM Grand itself, it's a very large establishment with a huge variety of dining, gaming, and entertainment. It isn't as flashy as the Wynn, Venetian, or Bellagio, but it is still a very nice place.

The Wynn hotel (along with its sister property Encore) is the latest design by renowned casino resort/real-estate developer Steve Wynn. Wynn's previous projects include the Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Bellagio before they were sold off to other companies.

His current creation the Wynn, has everything to offer guests. Starting with an absolutely amazing visual display around every corner, the Wynn has everything from fine dining, the Esplanade Shoppes which feature some of the most recognizable brands in retail, to a golf course, and even a Ferrari and Maserati dealership! Emphasis is put on luxury and fine service. If you feel like splurging, and taking in everything Las Vegas has to offer, definitely check out the Wynn.

You will find all of these places stunning, and absolutely wonderful. Keep in mind if you are looking for $1 drafts or $5 blackjack you won't find it in these places. Be prepared to shell out a few extra dollars, but at the same time, if you can afford it the service and amenities in these hotels are second to none. Sometimes you just have to spoil yourself.

Roughriders Survive Furious Comeback, Beat TigerCats In CFL Play

It was just a week ago that the Saskatchewan Roughriders blew a 22-0 first half CFL lead to the Edmonton Eskimos en route to a 38-33 loss. On Sunday afternoon, it looked for a moment like history was repeating itself. The Hamilton Tiger Cats would tie the score at 23-23 early in the fourth quarter before the hosts pulled it out with a late touchdown and field goal to win 33-23.

After the game, Roughriders coach Ken Miller talked about the importance of pulling out the win:

"We didn't want to do that again, "In the first half in particular it was sensational. In the third quarter we gave up some points ... but overall our defence played pretty good."

Hamilton head coach Marcel Bellefeuille said there was no moral victory in falling short after a big comeback:

"You've got to play 60 minutes to win in the CFL, you can't play 30 minutes."

An important component of the Roughriders victory was their improved rushing attack. Wes Cates becoming the first Roughrider to rush for more than 100 yards this season as he finished with 117. After the game, Cates spoke of his accomplishment:

"It was not as much for myself but more for the naysayers. Yeah I needed a big game like that to stop the rumours and stop people from talking bad about me."

Saskatchewans defensive line also starred, completely shutting down the Hamilton rushing attack. The Roughriders limited the Tiger-Cats runners to a mere 31 yards on the ground, easily improving upon their previous best performance of 114 rushing yards against.

Both Hamilton QBs struggled against the Saskatchewan defense. Kevin Glenn came in after the first quarter and finished the game 12-for-27 with 183 yards. starting QB Quinton Porter was 1-for-5 for only three yards before he was yanked.

The Tiger-Cats now have a bye week before they return to action August 29th on the road against the Edmonton Eskimos. Saskatchewan will head east to take on the CFL best Montreal Alouettes on Friday night.

The Calgary Stampeders used a solid all around game from running back Joffrey Reynolds to beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 31-23 at McMahon Stadium in weekend CFL action. The victory evened the Stamps record at 3-3 on the season. The Blue Bombers dropped to 2-4 with the setback.

Reynolds ran for one touchdown and caught another to pace the Stampeders offensive attack. After the game, he received praise from veteran CFL QB Henry Burris:

"Joffrey, he's been an animal. He's a proven professional. To me, he's the best running back in the league and he shows it game in and game out."

Reynolds displayed impressive humility as he accepted Burris compliment:

So Im tooling down A1A in Daytona Beach. A guy on a Sportster motors by wearing a big grin. His ZZ Top beard splits at his chin and flows with the wind.

Most of them don't bother wearing colors because they are not affiliated. They are edgy loners whose tattoos tell their stories.

Then I make it south to Sebastian Inlet " best surf on Floridas coast. Good mix of young, not-so-young, and downright old guys surfing. Long and short boards with a few Kamakazi body surfers. The old guys are edgy in their moves. The younger ones show respect and give them room to carve.

But edgy old dudes also like their rods and custom metal. I went to St. Petersburg because there was a car show and auction. There were flames and chrome everywhere. Most of the owners, beaming with pride, were older guys - late fifties and into their sixties who were finally able to live their dreams.

Theyre edgy old dudes whove arrived.

They are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and brothers sporting shaved heads, beards, earrings, and ponytails. But the thing they all have in common is that they do not want to die having wished they had done things instead of actually doing them.

This was vividly illustrated with the recent announcement that Tito Ortiz has patched things up with Dana White and will return to the UFC. Tito left the promotion over a year ago after a highly publicized split with the UFC president.

After losing to current light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in his last UFC appearance, Ortiz left the company and bounced around doing personal appearances and commentary for a variety of promotions. He had surgery on his back in the process, and now claims that hes back to 100%.

Tito may never regain his championship form as a fighter, but that is of minimal relevance due to one salient fact"people will pay to see him fight.. Ortiz is a fighter that offers no middle ground of public opinion, as people either love him or hate him. That dynamic is box office and PPV gold, a fact not lost on the savvy UFC brass. Dana White noted this fact in his comments on Ortiz at a Friday press conference in Las Vegas:

"Tito and I have a history that everyone knows. He's still a guy that everyone wants to see fight. He said his back has healed perfectly and he's ready to take a shot at the title. He's one of those guys that people love and people love to hate. We've put all our differences aside, have squashed everything and will move forward, and Tito will retire in the UFC."

To which Ortiz responded:

"Time really cures everything. Dana was a man of his word. Dana apologized to me. We're like boyfriend and girlfriend."

Ortiz said that Dana White and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta came to his home in Huntington Beach, California and made him an offer he couldn't turn down:

"I'm happy, I'm satisfied, You'll never hear anything about money again.

While both Ortiz and White said that he'd be back in the octagon 'ASAP, neither man gave much in the way of specifics. Sources suggest that he could debut on the UFCs New Years card against Mark Coleman. Coleman is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 in mid July.

A thrusting punch is the first kind of punch. A thrusting punch is like a train running into something and going through. Simply, there is no back off, and the punch goes through.

Now, the problem with the thrusting punch is...what happens to all the cars behind the locomotive? They all stack up, collide and become a mess. Thus, the unstoppable power of a thrusting punch does risk becoming a mess.

A thrusting punch, once delivered, is now entangled. The body behind the punch, unless the legs have done their job and moved the whole body forward, risks becoming unbalanced. Thrust, and you are forced to commit, and possibly overcommit, your body to the action.

A snapping punch is the second punch. Imagine a jackhammer striking, but only impacting once. It hits, does its damage, and backs off.

Now, the problem with the snapping punch is...not enough weight is put into the punch. The body doesn't move into the action, and so weight is not fully committed to the punch. You have your balance, but were you really effective?

Now, a thrusting punch is a strategy involving moving your body, using your entire weight, committing it to the action, and if you miss you're going to be out of place and unbalanced, and you're going to then have lots of problems. The snapping punch is a strategy where you make the strike, but don't always create enough hurt. The snapping punch gives less weight, but 95% of the weight will be left in the body of the opponent, a thrust punch commits weight, but takes fifty per cent of the shock back up the arm.

So we have the argument as to which is better, the snapping punch or the thrusting punch. Each punch has good points and bad, and you're going to have to gauge commitment versus noncommittment, balance versus stability, weight versus speed, weight left in the body versus weight backed up the arm, potential follow ups, positioning, and so on and so on. When you're done gauging all these potentials, however, you're going to have the right punch for the right situation.

When you think of ultralight bass fishing during the dog days of June, you tend to only want to go fishing during the early morning, or early evening. These times are just more comfortable for me, and for most other fishermen (and women!) as well. What you don't realize though, is that you are missing out on prime bass fishing time!

One of my favorite ultralight bass fishing techniques is topwater. Who doesn't love topwater fishing? When I speak of the subject though, 2 main lures come to mind. Buzzbaits, and poppers. I have caught more fish with these 2 lures, than any other topwaters in my collection.

The prime time to use topwater lures is early in the morning, or later in the evening. When the clouds are moving in thick, and the sky is getting grey, you should also break out your topwater lures. You can get away with using fast moving lures during the mid summer, but you just have to pick the right time.

With the water heating up to uncomfortable conditions this time of year, the bass tend to not chase baits actively during the day. This is why waiting until the water cools down to use the faster moving baits is key.

On bright sunny days with no clouds however, fish can't look up for their food. When these conditions present themselves, switch to a bottom bouncing bait that will better get the attention of the bass. Worms and jigs are perfect when the sun is high.

Jigs and worms are two of the best baits for when conditions present you with a bright sunny sky. After all, you don't get to pick when you fish! Worms and jigs can be slow rolled on the bottom, bounced, hopped, jigged, create a ruckus, just keep testing to find out what the fish are looking for. Remember to bring along your patience!

The Various Uses Of Airsoft Guns

This is because performance relies pretty heavily on the quality of the airsoft gun being used, warranting team players to invest in the best equipment and accessories for their position. Airsoft teams consist of snipers, riflemen, grenadiers, and support shooters, all of which require different equipment. High capacity AEGs are the airsoft gun of choice for those in riflemen positions while those who prefer sniping generally have high precision sniper rifles with an FPS of 400 feet or more plus the optics needed for distance shooting.

The support gunner position has a couple of different options in terms of these guns: a machine gun or an AEG with a box drum magazine that hold lots of pellets, the latter being the less expensive choice. Grenadiers would also benefit from an automatic electric gun, but should also invest in a grenade launcher and lots of extra grenades. These two positions are more costly than sniper and riflemen positions. Finally, regardless of the position, a gas pistol costing around seventy dollars is a recommended back up gun.

Airsoft guns are not one of those one-size-fits-all products. Regardless of what you want an airsoft gun for, you need to be prepared in order to make a cost effective purchase.

When you open up a wide hole in the fishes mouth, it takes him longer to recover, and he has a higher change of throwing the hook because there is nothing to grab onto.

You have seen the typical kayak fishing getup, the khaki pants, long sleeve shirts, and fishing hats. People wear this type of clothing because it keeps you from getting skin cancer, and surprisingly keeps you cool as well. Biking Is An Exciting Challenge In Colorado

What would Colorado be without one gorgeous mountain after another? Naturally mountainous areas are a bikers paradise, so where better to test the limits of adventure then right here? Colorado has much to offer the experienced biker, but there are plenty of trails for the novice as well. Here are some of the best.

Three trails combine to create a long, technical trail encompassing 21 miles. Located near Buena Vista, the Colorado Trail, Chalk Cliffs, and Cottonwood Pass Road have some sections suitable for inexperienced riders, but a good part of the path is uphill with steep inclines. Your reward for braving the trek? Enjoy the hot springs located midway on the trail and give yourself a relaxing break. The Colorado Trail also has restrooms by their parking area.

If you love biking because you just like to enjoy nature, then this next trail is just the perfect one for you. Monarch Crest is a 28-mile trail near Salida. Some of the best views (the Continental Divide) in all of Colorado can be seen right here. Its best to take a shuttle to the top since you will be at an elevation of 12,000.

White Ranch Park near Golden is over 19 miles of various loops to choose from. Its an old ranch just east of Denver. You will have to share the track with hikers, and the occasional cow, deer, elk, or bear. There are some great climbs, tough descents, roots and rocks to keep things interesting. While technical, it can be a great place for an intermediate biker to hone his skills.

Not far from Glenwood Springs you'll find a 20-mile trail called Bear Creek Loop. It's all uphill for about the first 10 miles, but then you'll follow the rim around Glenwood Canyon high above the Colorado River and get some great views at 1,700 feet. Maps of this trail and area are available for just $1 through the local Chamber of Commerce. You'll find fun and exciting varieties on this trail-from fast banked corners to big open areas that let you really accelerate and both challenging downhill and rocky sections to contend with.

If you can handle high altitudes-like 12,300 feet-combined with a really vigorous and demanding workout, you will like the Searle/Kokomo Pass. The entire thing-all 18 miles-is a challenge and is definitely for more experienced bikers, but the scenery is spectacular. From serene mountain ponds to stunning wildflowers, you'll enjoy the breathtaking views-if you can catch your breath, that is.

Even more challenging and arduous, expert bikers will experience some fantastic but technical trails on the 32-mile loop called the Double Top Trail not far from Crested Butte, Colorado. Bring along lots of water, though, because the 11,700-foot altitude contributes to dehydration problems. Make sure you're in excellent physical condition before you tackle this one, and then plan to have a blast!

While many of Colorados trails may test your skills as a biker, they can also be a lot of fun and help you gain experience. Just always remember to be safe, carry plenty of water, and ride with a friend.
