The NFL takes a dim view of the word bribe and Chad Johnson slipping the referee a dollar bill did not sit to well with the NFL. Chad Johnson is now 20,000 dollars lighter in the pocketbook thanks to what he did. Now I understand why the NFL came down on him, but in all honesty it was a little excessive.

What he did was not that bad if you ask me. Maybe his choice of words after the game was out of line,  but what he did on the field was just Chad Johnson joking around.  The NFL needs to lighten up a little and not take things so seriously. They should look into other things closer then worrying about something so petty if you ask me.

Lebron James is starting his own petition drive and it begins with himself. After the season is over James will switch from no. 23 to no. 6 as a tribute to Michael Jordan. James feels that after this year no one should wear no.23 and wants it retired from the NBA as a tribute to Michael Jordan.

In a interview on TNT after the Miami Heat game James said he is going to try and get every NBA player to do it as a tribute to Michael Jordan. James went on to say if it was not for Michael Jordan there would not be a James, Wade, or Kobe. Jordan is considered the greatest player to ever play the game and today’s young stars realize that.

It’s great to see James is willing to step up to the plate and do something. I commend him on this move and tells a lot about this young man. I hope rest of the NBA players will do it also. Jordan changed the game and should always be remembered for it.
