Jose Antonio Reyes again linked with Galatasaray  according to trustworthy journalist and twitter user Ibrahim Seten, who has tweeted that Atletico Madrid’s GM Angel Gil have been in Istanbul later today discussed terms with Gala’s president Unal Aysal. Rumor is that A.Madrid requested 7 million euros but Gala is trying to lower the transfer fee for spanish star. Galatasaray has tried to finish Reyes deal during the past transfer window but failed to do so.

Reyes recently argued with Atletico’s manager Gregorio Manzano and according to spanish press both parties are still not happy with each other. This fact strengthens Gala’s hand. On the other hand Galatasaray fans are not thrilled to buy out Reyes, primarily due to his lack of performance this season. Fans believe 7 million euros can be spend more wisely.

Galatasaray Men’s basketball Team have qualified to play in Euroleague 2011-12 season after winning three consecutive qualification games in Lithuania. This will be Galatasaray’s first Euroleague appearance. With Galatasaray’s addition to Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Ulker, Turkey now has three teams in top European level. Only Spain(5) has more teams then Turkey in Euroleague, where Italy also has 3 contenders.

According to Turkish media, Galatasaray will keep on restructuring their squad on this upcoming winter transfer season. According to a study done by Brand Finance, one of the leading brand valuation firms in the world, three sport brands made to Top 100 brand in the country. Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas ranked 71, 77, 79 respectively.

Galatasaray’s brand value noted as $55 Million, where Fenerbahce’s was $47  Million and Besiktas’s was $45 Million.
