On a night when Dice-K is dressed as a teletubby, the Philadelphia Eagles probably wished they were in a children's cartoon. Instead, they had to be the culprits for their unexpected loss at home in front of the Philly faithful. The NFL doesn't want to set an example by playing pranks like they do to rookies in baseball. Instead, they count on Chad Johnson to step up his Cincinnati Bengals Touchdown Celebrations...(I'm still waiting for him to rename himself to Theo Doolittle so he can refer to himself as the walking, talking TD. Touchdowns are definitely exciting to watch but will his imagination go too far. i.e. Hopefully they never mix bathroom humour into the mix and stick to using sharpies.

Last night, in game 2 of the 2006-2007 World Series

Kenny must have has some kind of oily substance to help his pitches
I noticed it early in the game and was wondering if he'd get called on it

There is a good chance the Tigers would have still won the game without that substance

The MAJOR problem is that Kenny blatantly lied
he said it must have been dirt
when he knew exactly what it was

and then he lied to reporters about not being told to remove it...
The umpires clearly told him to wash it right away!
he said he was just feeling dirty and he washed his hands without a warning from anyone

Today is a Sad day Corey Lidle New York Yankees pitcher dies in NYC Manhattan plane crash

Today, the plane Corey Lidle owned and piloted crashed into a Manhattan high-rise in New York.

We offer our prayers and condolences to the family, teammates, friends and fans of the New York Yankees pitcher who passed away today.

He always wanted to fly...just like every kid, I'm sure it was his dream

He had a huge desire to learn and took private lessons and in the off season.

He started the season pitching well in Philadelphia...
so well that the Yankees took notice and traded for the passionate pitcher.

Lidle was a winner and was always competitive
He finished this season with a winning record
and went out on top with a winning career. Lidle was 82-72.

Cory is survived by his wife and 6-year-old son Christopher.

WOW!

WHAT A GAME LAST NIGHT!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...I'm sure you were sleeping!

Dallas dominated with 80% of the shots in the first 2 periods and went up 2-0
Turco made some unbelievable saves to keep it at 2!

Then the 3rd period came and Dallas scored 2 quick goals...
Then they dominated play and had 80% of the shots on goal
But the game ended up going to Overtime!
It looked as though Colorado would win with a 4 on 3 powerplay
but Dallas killed it off and Turco flung the puck down the ice right when Sydor was exiting the penalty box and he walked in and scored top corner

It was unbelievable to watch...

Just remember a game is never over until the end (even if 1 team looks very weak)

STOP YELLING AT ME! WHICH FANS DOES YOUR NFL TEAM HATE THE MOST!

You just got kicked out of an NFL football game for yelling at the opposing teams QB!

Well that's what happens when the NFL cracks down on crowd noise!
No not yet...but they are close to enforcing the tighter rules.

It seems as though many nfl superstars have been complaining about the level of noise the fans are generating (especially in Seattle, KC, Denver, GB, NE etc.)

The Quarterbacks are the first to complain about the noise as it causes a lack of communication with their team and results in a direct increase in SACKS!!! (which they don't like) :)

Obviously the Lineman are affected as well since they are getting yelled at for jumping offside before the play, kinda like Donovan Baily at a world track meet before the starting gun.

WHERE IS ALL THIS NOISE COMING FROM?

Seattle claims the title of housing the Loudest, most boisterous fans reaching levels of 110 decibels on the field of play.

There are already rules which says that the scoreboard, cheerleaders, mascots can't encourage noise when the play is running.

The NFL has cracked down by prohibiting the use of the terms Noise!," "Let's hear it!," "Raise the Roof," "Let's go Crazy," "Pump it up," "12th Man" at any time during an NFL game

AND WHY DO I CARE???

But this might not solve all the problems like

The PA system in some stadiums can't be heard clearly!
Coaches have trouble communicating with their personnel!
QB's are still having trouble communicating the play to their teammates

ANSWERS...WHAT CAN'T HEAR YA...I SAID...HERE ARE THE ANSWERS!!!

The League is looking at these solutions:

Eliminating Artificial Noise creation (apparently especially in Seattle)
Introducing headsets in away teams helmets so players can hear the QB
Using some other form of technology to assist the players on the field

No matter what they do...They better not stop the fans from doing what they like...
Drinking, Partying, or Harassing the opposing players (at a mature level of course)
After all we're the ones paying the players and coaches salaries every week!
