The Crab

I am wondering if the crab that we're about to cook and eat, that escaped through the window in our unit (last month) was able to survive..

Crab Mentality: I never wanted to experience this anymore. It's hard like a crab shell. Double the hardness.

The Crab that escaped was very lucky to be the king of the hill. Lucky that all it's companions was not successful to pull him down. I just hope that someone saw, picked, cooked and eaten it, it's the the crab's purpose anyway. The Crab is lucky just like me, who will be enjoying the holidays smiling with friends and family and looking for the very bright 2012. :)

[GAME] Atlus to Publish "Game of Thrones" Action RPG in early 2012

Atlus has announced that they will be releasing in early 2012 the action RPG based on my current favorite novel series by George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, HBO’s Game of Thrones. This is in collaboration with HBO and Cyanide Studios. I am not done watching the Season 1 of Game of Thrones yet but I would like to play the role of ARYA STARK. ^_^

In this 30-plus hour action RPG, players will enter the gritty and medieval fantasy world of Westeros. As one of two original characters with disparate motivations, both former soldiers of Robert’s Rebellion, players will forge alliances and wage battles as they play a pivotal role in the ongoing war for power of the Seven Kingdoms. Their journey will span numerous quests, during which they will interact with many characters and make key decisions that impact the realm.

Standing before the majesty and bitter isolation of the Wall or walking through the streets and alleys of King’s Landing, players will not simply pass by locations and characters integral to the series; they will explore and interact with them, meeting and learning about the people and history that defines them and their importance. Key decisions and major events will have meaningful impact on Westeros, allowing the player to witness how the game world evolves over time based on their actions or inactions. Moreover, “Game of Thrones” introduces an innovative “active slowdown tactical combat engine” in which combat mirrors the series’ thoughtful approach to war and politics: fighting slows but never stops entirely, forcing the player to make quick, pressured choices before their enemy strikes again.

MTV-EXIT Concert

Haha. I just won 5 Tickets to the MTV-EXIT Concert! I just joined and I guess it was a lucky day. But I actually have no idea who will be performing. hahaha

So I searched and Jay Park and the band Evaline will be the main acts. I am not really a fan of the two artist that I mentioned but I might be giving the tickets to friends who really wants to watch the concert. ^_^

The X Factor

I've been hooked to this show since I heard the amazing voices of Chris Rene and Melanie Amaro.

X Factor is a talent show that originated from UK. It's a singing competition now held in different countries and I am very bored of waiting to the next episode which will be on October 12. And so I just watched other recent episode I got and the image below just made me cry too. X Factor just shows a lot of heart which could be the reason why even judges Paula Abdul in particular are very much touched with this warm hugs by siblings Gina and Chris Rene she even called Simon Cowell's attention.

General Luna is composed of Alex Montemayor on bass, Audry Dionisio on rhythm guitar, Bea Lao on drums, Caren Mangaran on lead guitar and Nicole Asensio on lead vocals. The band was born, one may say, out of luck and perfect timing. Just as they were starting out, Warner Music was scouting for a group who can really rock out and at the same time, give a new face to the usual façade of rock n’ roll. But why the name General Luna? Vocalist Nicole Asencio says, “It has nothing to do with Gen. Antonio Luna.” It’s a combination of the words General which is masculine, and Luna which is feminine - a balance of the 2 concepts.

One good way to sample General Luna’s music is by the single “Red Heaven” – a combination of loud guitar riffs and catchy melodic verses, which tells about the stomach churning experience of a nightmare. With the single’s steady climb to number 1 on NU107’s chart Stairway to Seven, the band and listeners alike proved that their music truly deserves a spot in the local music scene along with other serious rock acts in the country. Java Rockin'land 2011 Ready to Go

If this was a car race, Gudang Garam Intermusic Java Rockin'land 2011 (GGI-JRL 2011) is at the starting line. The festival's engine has been making revving sounds since Java Festival Production (JFP) completed its mission to hold the "Andrea Bocelli, Live in Concert" project last May 15th.

Actually the tune up of GGI-JRL 2011's engine has been going on since end of March 2011. Paul Dankmeyer (Program Director) has been approaching the management of diverse international groups, whilst Eki Puradiredja (Program Coordinator) and team who are in charge of selecting the Indonesian rock groups due to perform at the festival, have also begun organizing the names of groups to be invited.

President Director of Java Festival Production, Dewi Gontha, stated, "Although we had to prepare and promote Andrea Bocelli's concert, we did not halt our preps for GGI-JRL 2011. We did decide to postpone the announcement of the names of artists due to perform at the festival to avoid overlapping promo activities."

The Art of Inviting Rock Groups

For the last couple of months, rock music enthusiasts in Indonesia have started sending in their wish list of performers they'd like to see perform at Gudang Garam InterMusic Java Rockin'land 2011. JFP has been accommodative of the wish list, although fulfilling it 100% would not be easy. "Scheduling and pricing (of artists �red) are the main challenges in getting the bands on the wish list," shared Paul Dankmeyer. "The fee that comes with getting certain rock bands are high. Festival organizers at first usually bargain for a lower price," continued Paul.

"The thing is, ticket prices for visitors must not be affected by the rocketing fees of the rock bands. That's why we also try to maintain affordable ticket prices for GGI-JRL, so that rock enthusiasts in Indonesia can still come to the event," added Dewi Gontha. At the moment, JFP has received confirmations from a number of international rock groups, including from the Philippines.

Gudang Garam Intermusic Java Rockin'land 2011, scheduled for 22, 23, 24 July at Carnaval Beach Ancol, is due to present The Cranberries (Ireland), Thirty Seconds to Mars (US), Happy Mondays (UK), Neon Trees (US), Blood Red Shoes (UK), Franco (the Philippines) and The Dirt Radicals (Australia) and many more.

Since there are so many Indonesian rock bands that wish to perform at GGI-JRL 2011, the program team are still in the midst of selecting the groups to be invited to perform. They plan to consider great rock bands and bands with the most request by the festival goers to perform at the festival. Just like all of JFP's festivals, Eki Puradiredja will also prepare a special project specially designed for GGI-JRL 2011.
