You have to watch the laws being passed all around the world today, not just the laws in your city or your state. Laws being passed in the world are having direct effect on your future because of the move to globalism. American judges now quote from laws being passed in other parts of the world, not just American law.

Heroes Part 1

I have decided to start a new series of blog posts. From time to time I am going to post about heros I have met or heard about. I don't have many heros and the ones I do have are usually are not the types of heros that most would choose to emulate.

Todays hero just happens to be the governor of Alaska. She is a 44 year old Republican, but I guess you have to be in some sort of party to get elected. She just found out that she is pregnant. That is always good news. Here is the story.

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — The results of Gov. Sarah Palin's prenatal testing were in, and the doctor's tone was ominous: "You need to come to the office so we can talk about it."

Mrs. Palin, known for a resolve that quickly launched her from suburban hockey mom to a player on the national political stage, said, "No, go ahead and tell me over the phone."

The physician replied, "Down syndrome," stunning the Republican governor, who had just completed what many political analysts called a startling first year in office.

She had arrived at the Capitol on an ethics-reform platform after defeating the incumbent Republican in the primary and a former two-term Democratic governor in the general election. Her growing reputation as a maverick for bucking her party's establishment and Alaska's powerful oil industry quickly gained her a national reputation.

Now she is trying to balance caring for her special-needs child and running a state.

The doctor's announcement in December, when Mrs. Palin was four months pregnant, presented her with a possible life- and career-changing development.

"I've never had problems with my other pregnancies, so I was shocked," said Mrs. Palin, a mother of four other children.

"It took awhile to open up the book that the doctor gave me about children with Down syndrome, and awhile to log on to the Web site and start reading facts about the situation."

The 44-year-old governor waited a few days before telling her husband, Todd, who was out of town, so she could understand what was ahead for them.

Once her husband got the news, he told her: "We shouldn't be asking, 'Why us?' We should be saying, 'Well, why not us?' "

There was never any doubt the Palins would have the child, and on April 18 she gave birth to Trig Paxson Van Palin.

"We've both been very vocal about being pro-life," Mrs. Palin said. "We understand that every innocent life has wonderful potential."

Down syndrome is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome in the fetus' cells. It's a genetic abnormality that impedes physical, intellectual and language development.

The mother's age is a large factor in the chances of having a child afflicted with Down syndrome. Once a woman turns 40, the chance is 1 out of 100, according to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

Three days after giving birth, Mrs. Palin returned to work in her Anchorage office, accompanied by Trig and her husband.

This was not a mother's typical visit to the office to show off the new baby; instead, she was serving notice that a child of special needs would not hinder her professional commitments.

"It's a sign of the times to be able to do this," she said. "There is no reason to believe a woman can't do it with a growing family. My baby will not be at all or in any sense neglected."

Neither, Mrs. Palin said, will the state, as she prepares to lead deliberations for a multibillion-dollar natural-gas pipeline. She calls it the economic future of the state, a means of getting North Slope natural gas to consumers throughout North America.

"I will not shirk my duties," she said.

Ontario To Close 300 Schools... No Children

Because the West has bought into the lie that children are too much trouble, and the lie that there are too many people on the earth and the abomination of abortion, that is why there are not enough children in Ontario Canada to justify keeping 300 schools open.

Well, if you wait a little while, you can import Muslims and they will have lots of kids. They actually believe that kids are a blessing and that God wants them to have them. This is how Islam is rising to power. And the opposite of this is why Christian and Western culture is in serious decline.

Imagine, 300 schools full of kids learning. What potential would be in those walls? Try googling "empty schools" and think a minute.

Messianic Jews Must Receive Equal Treatment In Israel

This is an historic ruling. The Israeli Supreme Court has ruled that Christian Jews have the same right of return as any other Jews. The court has ordered that the persecution of Christian Jews must stop. This is in response to a lawsuit by 12 Jews who had been denied the right to return to live in Israel because they were Christians and suspected of "missionary activity"

Even though any other type of Jew has been allowed, even atheists, Christians have been denied entrance by the department of Interior. This ruling changes all of that. Glory !

Northern Yellow-Shafted Flicker (Woodpecker)

I was in downtown Minneapolis today in front of the Grain Exchange building and there before me sitting on the sidewalk with its head tucked into its wing was what looked like a pigeon sized bird with markings like a pheasant and a red stripe on its neck. Animal control was called and picked the bird up but when they reached for it and wrapped it in a towel you could see that it had a beak like a woodpecker with a slight curve downward to it.

The Animal Control guy didn't know what it was and I suggested that it was some type of woodpecker. We looked in his bird book but found nothing that looked like it under "woodpeckers". After I finished up downtown I went online to see what kind of bird it might be. After an hour of looking I could not find anything that matched it. So I called Animal Control to see if they knew what it was now that they had brought it in. I found out that they had transferred the bird to the Golden Valley Humane Society. They have a bird recovery hospital. I called Golden Valley and got a recorded announcement. so I left a message. They nicely called me back and told me that this was a Northern Flicker. I had looked at many pictures of Northern Flickers and none of them looked like my bird.

But then they told me that it was a Yellow-Shafted Northern Flicker. (Vs. Red-Shafted West of the Rockies.) It seems the two species have been in-breeding now for many generations and there are many, many variations. Anyhow, I found a picture and a web site and finally confirmed that this bird today was a Yellow-Shafted Flicker. It was interesting. At least to me...;-)

Maranatha Come Lord Jesus

Luke 21:25 "And there will be strange events in the skies-signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26 The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. 27 Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. 28 So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!"

What could account for this sort of thing happening in our solar system? How could the "very heavens be broken up"? What would account for "strange tides'? What kind of signs will these be?

Maybe it will be the nearest moon to Mars, Phobos, crashing into the planet and causing catastrophic devastation? It is bound to do so. It is truly a death moon, It's days are limited. Nobody knows how limited but yet all know that it will happen someday. Imagine the result.

Phobos (fear) rotates around Mars at about 5,800 kilometers above the surface. That is only less than 3000 miles. Roughly the distance between Minneapolis and Alaska. Compare that to our moon that rotates at the distance of roughly 250,000 miles.
Now you see why gravity will win soon on Mars. Is this the physical cause of the above scripture? Hmmm?

Photographer Fined $6000 For NOT Taking Pictures At A Wedding !

A photographer in New Mexico was asked to take photos of a lesbian commitment ceremony. They politely refused. They got sued. The state Human Rights Commission fined them $6000. The case is on appeal.

Our friend, Jordan Lorence with the Alliance Defense Fund, defended the photographers. Because of the aggressiveness of homosexual activists, Jordan believes that this is the sort of thing that will result from new non-discrimination laws passed in 19 states. These laws are being used as weapons against Christian businesses and churches.

The Federal government is now trying to pass some new non-discrimination laws. It is called the federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act. It will probably have a chilling effect upon Christianity in America as it is used against those who believe in the word of God.

Pretty cool. But Lynn and I were flying to Memphis at night in a full moon about 2 weeks ago and I saw something that I did not know even existed. I saw this same phenomenon in a humidity type cloud at night that was occurring as a result of the reflection of the light from the sun off of the full moon. A reflection fire rainbow so to speak.

What's my point? (Why do I always have to make a point? Can't I just babble on like the rest of the world?) My point is this. ...
Even the reflected glory of God as seen in the church (moon) contains in it the very promises of God. We truly are the body of Christ.

Or something like that. Anyhow, it blessed me to the center of my heart. A private sweet time with the Lord.

The Government Owns Your Child's DNA In Minnesota

When your baby was born the nurse took a needle and extracted 5 spots of blood from your babies foot and put them on a blotter. If you asked, "What is that for?" you were told it was for a PKU test. But what you were not told is that this blood then became the property of the State and it was added to their library of genetic information about your baby.

What does that mean? It means that, in the future, they will be able to clone your baby. It means that they can now tag your baby for genetic reasons and include or exclude your baby from programs and events. It means that they are probably tracking to see if your child is "genetically inclined to be a homosexual."

This information must not belong to the state. It reeks of experimentation and nazi potential.
Here is what you need to know:
--The PKU test is NOT required, you can “opt out” (but this puts the burden on you and not the State)
--You can have the PKU test done at a private facility
--If you’ve already had the PKU test done and don’t feel good about allowing the state to keep and use your kid’s DNA you can have the test and results destroyed.

In the mean time, you can have the State destroy the PKU test and results by submitting a form found here:

Even though I just learned that the Asian Salad at McDonald's was very good I will not be buying anything there for quite some time. I cannot and will not support any corporate group that promotes and supports the homosexual agenda. McDonald's has now openly come out and said that they will actively support homosexuality.

McDonald's grew from it's support of the American family. Now, the corporate geniuses have decided to support the gays whose agenda will destroy the American family. People, once they hear about this, will be staying away in droves. The mere 2 % of the population that are homosexual will do little to stop the future fall of McDonald's. McDonald's days are numbered.

I encourage you all to never purchase anything there again. (It will be no big loss anyhow) This blatant "in-your-face" corporate support of that which is morally wrong has to be confronted. Call your local McDonald's and let them know what you think. McDonald's is McDone. Clowns are creepy anyhow.

Chemical Weapons In Syria Kill Iranians

On July 23rd, while trying to fit a chemical weapon warhead on a scud missile in Syria, dozens of Iranian technicians as well as 15 Syrian officers died. They made a fatal mistake that led to an explosion releasing clouds of deadly gas.

The accident was reported but the details and the Iranian connection were concealed. Syria has the most sophisticated chemical weapons program in the middle east. They are in a mutual defense pact with Iran. If Israel attacks Iran to destroy their nuclear program like they did the Syrian program, Syria will likely launch chemical weapons on Israel. The scud missiles are capable of reaching Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

If a chemical weapon ever hit a major city in Israel you can be sure that Israel would reply in a very dramatic way destroying all attacking capability. They will not sit back and allow themselves to be annihilated.

Israel Air Strike Destroys Nukes In Syria ?

Evidence is mounting that the invasion of air space over Syria by Israel jets was much more than meets the eye. There are many conflicting reports. All that is known officially is that the jets flew in Syrian airspace and Syria recovered ejected fuel canisters.

The ejected fuel canisters probably indicate a "deep" strike into Syria. A strike that is at the limits of fuel capacity for a safe return. This would take the jets over areas in extreme northern Syria.

Now evidence is coming out that North Korean "advisers" are present in Syria and that they are suspected of bringing nuclear materials into Syrihttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifa. This is what Israel may have bombed with the help of ground forces who lit up the target with lasers for the smart bombs to target.

But the most amazing news of the entire event is that Israel forces somehow disabled the formidable Russian state-of-the-art ground to air missile defenses. There is no word on how they did that. Even Iran does not have this Russian equipment (yet) Maybe now they won't waste their money trying to buy it.

Here is a deep field photo of outer space. These "stars" are all galaxies. The only "star" that is not a galaxy is the one in the upper right corner that has lines radiating through it. The lines are the distortion of the light on the lens.

For as far as our best telescopes can see there are more and more galaxies like our own Milky Way. The expanse of space is incomprehensibly huge.

Now, here is the strange news in light of "evolution" There is no predicted infrared emission from these galaxies. It is as if they are not old. But if they are not old, and the speed of light is constant, then how did they get so far away so quickly?

Maybe the "big bang" theory and the theory of "evolution" are not all that they are cracked up to be? Maybe light can be slowed down or sped up? Or maybe God just spoke the universe into existence at one moment in time 6,000 years ago?

French President Sarkozy

The new French president seems to get it. He has publicly spoken out a philosophical mindset that is refreshing in this day and age. It is greatly encouraging to know that at least one world politician understands the problems behind the failure of education and the root cause of the dysfunctional societies we live in today.

"Religion should not be left at the school room door. The spiritual and the sacred always accompany human experiences. They are the source of all civilization. One can open up [more] easily to others and one can dialogue more easily with people of other religions when one understands their religion." This is what Sarkozy has written in a letter to all of the teachers of France.

He has called them to take part in a "renaissance" and to begin to "guide and to protect the spirit and the sensibilities that are not yet completely formed, that have not yet attained maturity, which are searching, which are still fragile and vulnerable (in the children)"

He said that this is done by, "rewarding the good, punishing the faults, cultivating an admiration of that which is good, just, beautiful, great, true and profound and [cultivating] a detestation of that which is bad, unjust, ugly, insignificant, untrue, superficial and mediocre. That," he said, "is how a teacher renders his service to a child in his care."

I say, "Well, duh !" Finally someone has stood up and spoken the plain truth that is being (purposefully?) ignored in the "normal" schools of America and Europe. This is exactly that which has been eliminated from the educational systems of America. It is as if, historically, America did such a good job of teaching people how to be truly free by being truly educated, body, soul, and spirit, that the only way to conquer it was by undermining these values, thus destabilising the democratic values that America was built upon.

And now the voice of reason comes from, of all places, France?

Sarkozy is continuing to press the theme he introduced as the Interior Minister of France before he was elected President. At that time he called upon France to repudiate it's anti-religious prejudice and restore church state relations.

This all is like a breath of fresh air. Now the next question is, "What is good?" I am not sure that there is a consensus on this question. What is good has to be retaught in the schools. Who decides that? Atheists? The jaded leaders of America all seem to be, like Pilate, unable to determine "truth." Jesus is truth.

Russians Behind Israel-Syria Tensions

Evidence is coming out that Russia is behind the tensions between Syria and Israel. It seems it is Russia that told the Syrians that Israel was about to attack them. Why? So that they could sell Syria more arms.
