One day when I went out shopping with my friend, I noticed that she was wearing a pair of red glasses but I also remembered that she wore black glasses the day before. I asked her about it and she told me that she recently ordered a few pairs of eyeglasses from ZenniOptical.com. She said it was very easy to navigate through the website and they have a great variety of colors, shapes and sizes for each and every glasses. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

She also said that she had a small problem with her optician. He had refused to give her PD. The PD or Pupillary Distance, is the distance between the pupils of the eyes, center to center, in millimeters and this measurement is needed to ensure proper eyeglass fitment. After a few moments of hesitation, her optician finally agreed to give her the PD reading.

The thing about her optician not wanting to hand over her PD really bugged me. I think the customer should be free to decide where they want to order their glasses from, especially if it’s from a place where it only requires a few simple instructions and has a wide range of glasses. It’s easy and simple, that’s what we, customers, like!

Have you ever used online coupons before? I haven’t used many coupons before and that is what I’m missing out on. I’ve just discovered that at http://www.savings.com, you can actually get discount coupons for many online stores. Seeing that I’ve been browsing through a lot of online stores recently – stores like Banana Republic, Urban Outfitters, Hanes – and mentally picking out stuff to buy, these coupons will actually help me save some money.

Saving money is really important because you always want to have money for a rainy day, right? And with all the money I can save when using coupons, I can actually buy more stuff. Imagine all the 20% discount vouchers and 5 dollar discounts and free shipping you get. Even though it looks little, it can accumulate to a lot.

I’m actually at the site right now and I’m checking out all the deals they’ve got to offer. Those back-to-school deals are pretty good actually, considering school has just started and there’s still time to get some good stuff. My mom does a lot of online shopping so I think I’m gonna make her use these coupons so that she can save even more. If you’re a big fan of online shopping, you should really go get yourself some good deals at Savings.com.

I’ve been missing, I know! It’s because of my laptop… (you guessed it) again!!! Some virus thingamajig appeared on my screen a couple of days ago and I got scared so I left it to rot for a while. I’ve successfully (I hope?) cleared out the virus and my laptop is ready for action again. That’s good news because I’m on a temporary laptop which is pretty good but not the same. I mean, all my stuff is on the old one.

Oh-kay. Life has been slow-paced scene. Every day is pretty much the same. How’s life with people missing in the picture? I don’t know, tolerable, for now. It gets dull though on days like these when it’s bloody hot and the only thing that is keeping me sane is the aircon. Pigged out with C today, definitely looking forward to more pigging out days. Been taking lots of pictures as if we’re the one who’s away on vacation. Oh, and we watched tons of movies over the weekend. That just shows how bored we are.

On an unrelated note, this laptop screen is super wide like seriously wide…

I’d really like to keep moving but somehow time has just somehow stopped for the moment. I feel… stuck. In a rut. And I’m going anywhere with this.

I wanted to sink into my dream for as long as possible because I didn’t want to wake up to face the fact that you’ll be leaving. For a while, yes, but still leaving. And I don’t know what I’m going to do. Maybe sometimes it’s good to take a break from each other but now that you’re leaving soon and time is torturing me by hardly moving at all, I’m beginning to reconsider your decision to leave.

About what I said about wishing that today’d be over and you’d go; it’s true. I wish today would just be over so that I can wake up tomorrow and let the truth (that you’re already halfway around the world) would hit me so hard in the face, I’d have to believe it.

I was carefree yesterday because I simply didn’t want to think about today. But somehow C found a way to knock it into my head that today would be different. Today will be bleaker than yesterday. The ride there will probably be normal but the ride home will be different. There’ll be silence – I don’t expect upbeat chitchat, just silence and maybe the occasional sniff. I don’t know. I just know that it’ll be awkward.

It’s been a whole lot of hell this year, especially for you, and though a break is what you need, I’d rather you spend it with me. With us.

I miss you already.

But most of all, I love you.

I like cooking. I don’t love it yet, though. Just a random thought.

Essays and art make me smile. I like seeing those comments at the end of my essay. It’s so fun to let my imagination run wild when I’m writing. Different ideas make me feel good because it isn’t the same old thing. It makes everything so interesting. Re-reading is fun because it’s different when you’re the writer and when you’re the reader.

What more can I say about art? It makes me forget about everything. It’s the only thing I can concentrate on for a long time, besides reading. Art is so beautiful when the masterpiece is done and you can just hold it back and see the beauty of it. Painting expresses our feelings.

My conclusion of today : First impressions will never change. For example, you meet this girl and you don’t like her attitude but later on, you become close friends and realize that you were wrong about her. No, we are never wrong about first impressions. The end comes back to your first impression.

Looks like a cute movie. That sounded childish, I know. But I like modern fairytales with a different twist to the love stories. And the graphics look pretty good.

Omg, I love what she’s wearing from head-to-toe. This ensemble is super cute and so wearable for many occasions. The metallic skirt paired with the colorful top makes it look like a two-toned dress. And I like that the belt isn’t one of those fugly chunky waist belts that we see very often nowadays. Need I saw more about those open toe purple pumps?!

You have to like a girl who knows how to dress up and dress down. She’s my kind of fashion icon.

Megan Fox is such a babe.

I love her cameo in the new Eminem ft. Rihanna video. Amazing stuff so go watch it. Eminem is good stuff, I’m telling you. And though I’m not a huge fan of Rihanna, I have to say she does sound less whiny which is good because sometimes I can’t stand her voice.

Burlesque – Christina Aguilera looks great on the set. Her hair is really nice in this movie. It’s not all about singing but there’s a storyline. Watch the trailer and you’ll know. Pretty interesting.

Easy A – Emma Stone has become one of my favorite actresses. It’s your typical high school storyline with mean girls, unpopular girls and cute guys. I’ll just watch it for fun.

Jonah Hex – Megan Fox’s slang is hot! Machine guns and horses? Cool! I can’t miss a movie like that.

Knight And Day – Hilarious! I must watch this. The trailer made me LOL a lot. Tom Cruise in action is a must-see.

Takers – Paul Walker? Yay, eye candy! Just kidding. Not watching it because of good looks. It looks like an interesting movie. The trailer kept my eyes glued on the screen. Of course, T.I’s Yeah Ya Know music video had more cut scenes from the movie. Must watch!

I don’t think I’ll watch Beastly. Let’s just say Kyle (The Beast) looks really scary. He’s not even furry! He’s tattooed all over the face. I didn’t even dare watch the trailer. I read the book though – dramatic at some parts and predictable and sappy. Did you even see who they cast as Lindy (a.k.a Beauty)? Another reason not to watch it. I mean, the story has a good moral value behind it but…. you know.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World? Um, no thanks. Simple and boring storyline. If I had to watch it, I’d watch it for laughing purposes and Chris Evans scenes. The usual slapstick comedy. Bleh.

Maybe I’ll watch Charlie St. Cloud but only if someone can guarantee that I won’t end up in tears when I leave the cinema. Ha ha! Zac Efron’s fame is certainly rising.

Sucker Punch? Maybe.

If you ask me, “Do you want to watch The Losers?” I’ll definitely say yes.

I will not be angry. It’s easy not to be angry actually but sometimes anger overtakes that calmness we have.

But, seriously, why get angry over something that won’t even affect you? Most people hear the boy crying wolf and they quickly help the wolf hiding beneath the sheep skin. It may be safe now but who knows when the wolf decides to remove its skin? Hmm… wouldn’t like to be there, huh?

I didn’t know this wolf could baa like a sheep though. Hey, it complains more than a female sheep. Whoa. And the shepherds – is that what you call them? – enjoy giving the dear sheep (wolf in disguise) everything it bleats out. I didn’t know they could get such treatment! Ha ha.

My friend said that after she told me the remix of those Aesop’s Fables. Apparently she read it on some email. Interesting.
