Video Game Addictions

Video game addictions are all too common among kids, pre-teens, teens, and young adults these days. Then again, TV addictions are just as common among the older crowd. Get off the couch everybody!

Anyhow, I couldn't help but post an article about video games. Squidoo members have built so many lenses on video games that it now has it's own category on the front page of Squidoo. It's ridiculous.

The first lens I'd like to mention today is called "16 Games Like The Sims – Free, Online and Paid Virtual Games" by SammySpam. (Not a good choice for a screen name, dude.) Sammy has tons of lenses on video games and he seems to know what he's talking about. It's what he does.

The problem with video games is that not everyone has a video console to use. In my house, the one and only Xbox 360 we have is being used regularly by one of my four children. Thus, I have to resort to my Mac or my Smartphone if I want to play one of my favs. So, when searching Squidoo for a solution to this problem, I came across another lens that I will be doing some more game searching on. It is called, "18 best Free Flash Games for your Browser" by Chillyhotdog. Where do they come up with these screen names?

Since many people choose spring and summer for their wedding dates, I have decided to begin this blog with a few interesting and useful lenses about weddings. The first lens is called "Ideas for Buffet Tables | Setting a Buffet Table" by DecoratingforEvents. This will come in handy for those who need a creative edge. The second lens is called "Ten Of The Most Popular Wedding Flowers and What You Should Know Before Choosing Them" by Kylyssa. This lens is very helpful to those who really have no idea what kinds of flowers they want for their wedding or what will go with their other decor. The third and final lens that may be very helpful to most is "Best Mother-Son Dance Songs" by rms. In this lens there are 50, well actually, 49 top songs selected by vote. These wedding ideas are just some of the many wedding related lenses on Squidoo. They are oh so Squidoo-Fabulous!

Squidoo-Fabulous blog was created several years ago as a way to promote some of the Squidoo(tm) lenses I had created and talk about some of the reasons why I enjoy using Squidoo. This blog was very much out-of-date and many of the lenses had been deleted that were talked about here. As a result, a new Squidoo-Fabulous is in the making. The new Squidoo-Fabulous will include the hard work and dedication of many of the other lensmasters.
