Wilson &amp; Co. to renovate and expand the recently dedicated Anheuser-Busch Hall, a three-story science building on the university’s main campus in Clayton.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;S.M. The company has acquired the development rights for the parcel at 10th and G. PN Hoffman, which had begun development of the site but was forced to stop last year when it lost its funding, will partner with Skanska in the building's development, which will be located at 733 10th St.&lt;br /&gt;Skanska is financing the project entirely from its own balance sheet, Rob Ward, EVP of Skanska USA tells GlobeSt.com. They say it will take them about three weeks to make sure the concrete is hard enough for aircrafts to park on. Workers are also finishing up the breeze way. When that is done, United and Delta passengers won't have to walk so far to get on and off airplanes. It has tapped Manekin Construction to begin development on the $15.6-million project. The three-story, 80,000-square-foot facility will be located on a city-owned parcel at 15901 Excalibur Rd., near the Bowie Town Center. The new building will be designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating and will have a green roof.&lt;br /&gt;The project includes the demolition of the current 39,500-square-foot city hall at nearby 2614 Kenhill Dr. The additional space in the new building is necessary to house the police station, which currently operates out of two modular units on the city hall site. Inc. of Boston said it has been awarded an $8 million contract for a new Waterfront Operations Small Craft Facility at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a press release, Suffolk said it is partnering with AECOM Technology Corp., a global firm that provides such services as architectural services, to construct the 13,498 square-foot facility; the facility will consolidate port operations activities into one central building. It has also done design work on the Central Campus plan at Duke.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Chapel Hill foundation is a non-profit arm of UNC. The redevelopment will also add three out lots or pad sites.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The current store will remain open while the new one is built. M. Wilson has been hired to build a new $10 million elementary school for the Normandy School District in St. Louis County.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The two-story, 65,000-square-foot school will include a gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen, media center, administrative office space, classrooms, science labs, a band platform/stage and a computer room.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;S. M. Skanska served as Program Manager and oversaw the repair and replacement work that dramatically enhanced the reliability, cost-effectiveness, and energy efficiency of the buildings’ MEP systems. This is the fourth project LAUSD has awarded Clark is the past five years.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;South Los Angeles Area New High School No. 3 will accommodate 2,025 students and help relieve overcrowding at the nearby Manual Arts Senior High School.  Located on a 15-acre campus in south Los Angeles, the project site is adjacent to residential and commercial structures; however, the school’s five buildings will all face an interior courtyard.  The school will include 75 classrooms and provide students with four Small Learning Communities, a national program adopted by LAUSD. Jacobs will provide the design services for the facility. Skanska will build the research lab. The building should be designed and completed by the Spring of 2011.
