It was created by Kunchan Nambiar, as an alternative to the Chakyar koothuOttamthullal is very satirical touch. Ottamthullal performing artist has the freedom to improvise and incorporate humour. For Ottamthullal, the instruments used are Madhalam, Kuzhithalam(a type of cymbal)

It has a mostly single actor, attractive make-up of characters, elaborate costumes and detailed gestures and and reciting the lyrics of Thullal songs.
The performing artist of Thullal acting and dancing himself simultaneously. Ottamthullal is of three types. That is Parayanthullal, Ottanthullal and Seetankanthullal, the three had minor changes in its dress and style they were derived from the performances observed by castes like "Kanian, Pulaya and Paraya" respectively.

Vidyarambham (Malayalam: വിദ്യാരംഭം) is a Hindu tradition where children between two and three years old are formally initiated into the characters of the syllabary.

The ceremony of Vidyarambham (Vidya means "knowledge" , arambham means "beginning') for the children is held on Vijayadashami (the last day of Navaratri) day. On that day thousands of people arrive at the temple to initiate learning to their children.

Initiation into the world of syllabary usually begins with the writing of the mantra "Om hari sri ganapataye namah"(ഓം ഹരി ശ്രീ ഗണപതയേ നമഃ) Hari(ഹരി) refers to the Lord, sri(ശ്രീ), to prosperity. Initially, the mantra is written on sand or in a tray of rice grains. Then, the master would write the mantra on the child's tongue with gold. Writing on sand denotes practice. Writing on grains denotes the acquisition of knowledge, which leads to prosperity. Writing on the tongue with gold invokes the grace of the Goddess of Learning, by which one attains the wealth of true knowledge. Nowadays it is celebrated by people across all castes and religions.

Broadcom Corporation and Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the integration of the Adobe Flash Platform into Broadcom’s latest digital television (DTV) and set-top box (STB) system-on-a-chip (SoC) platforms.

The collaboration paves the way for rich Flash based entertainment experiences on televisions that offer viewers new options for accessing Web content on their TVs.

With Adobe Flash Lite 3 software supported in the Broadcom BCM3549, BCM3556, BCM7400 and BCM7405 SoC solutions, TV viewers will be able to view Flash based content and applications from popular online providers and entertainment sites.

Broadcom DTV and STB platforms with integrated Adobe Flash support are expected to be available to manufacturers in the first half of 2009.

Broadcom will demonstrate Adobe Flash support on its BCM7405 and BCM3549 solutions at this week’s 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show.

The technology collaboration between Broadcom and Adobe will further accelerate the transition to high definition (HD) Web-based video on televisions, fortifying the TV as the main entertainment hub within the home.

There is a new bug in orkut.

we cant upload a profile image . if you upload a profile image ,

it is giving the error.

"This image appears corrupt. Please upload a different image."

If u try to upload another image the error will show the same.

The issue has been reported to the orkut crew and they are working to fix the problem.
