Create a property.
Click the website option and add your websites name and URL
Choose your industry, Choose your time zone.
Click on Get Tracking ID.
Install the Tracking ID on your site.
Paste the Tracking ID in the Analytics
paste tracking code in the Theme section.
Then Save the theme

HTML File Verification Method

In this method, you need to upload an HTML file to the root directory of your website. For this you will need to access your server to upload the file, using cPanel File Manager.
It is the recommended method by Google. These are the steps.

Step 1: Download Verification File

First add your Website to Google search console, after adding your site, You should see an option to download an HTML file, download this file to your desktop.

Step 2: Upload file via SFTP

Step 3: Click the verify button at Google search console

Meta Tag Verification Method

Step 1:Select HTML tag in the alternative methods, Copy the value in the box. After copying paste this in the Root directory.

Step 2: You can see the settings in your dashboard, here insert Headers and Footers(paste the meta tag here)

Step 3:click save after this click verifies button in the Search console.

Verification by Google Analytics

Google Analytics is an analytics service offered by Google that helps to track your report website traffic. Analytics records a visit each time a user enters your page with google analytic code. There are no details steps for this method.
If you already added your website, you can see the below tab, You just click the verify button.

Verification By DNS Text

In this method, you’ll add a TXT record to your DNS provider. This is the best method.

Step 1: Get TXT Record

Step2: Add TXT Record at DNS           Provider.
Step 3:Click Verify Button At the Search Console.

Verification By Tag Manager

Tag Manager is a free tool by Google, that allows you to manage and marketing tags on your website without changing code.
It is quite similar to Google analytic method. If you are already using Google Tag Manager, You can just click the verify button to verify your site.

Select the alternative method
Select Google Tag Manager button
Click verify.

What is On-page SEO?

An On-page SEO review and optimize the page title by adding keywords and numbers. The ultimate goal of an On-page SEO is to help search engine crawlers.

Why is On-page SEO is Important?

It is important because it helps to understand the content of your webpage by a search engine with a number of signals. Why it's called On-page because any optimization changes to a webpage contribute to better user experience.

On-Page SEO Techniques for Higher Ranking

Now that the theory about SEO and the importance of on-page SEO is justified, let’s move on to the practical part.
Let us check all on-page SEO techniques:

Title tag Optimization

While search engines ‘read’ your pages, they first check the page title and the description of a page. It is because the search engine wants to know the content of your page, or what the page to about and based on these factors they will rank your page to a position in their index. Google displays the title at 512 pixels. The title is an important factor to help search engines what your page about.

Title optimization tips

The title should have 55 to 60 characters.
Add keywords to the beginning of your page title.
Write a short and descriptive title.
Use target keywords in the title.
The content of the page must describe in the title.
Make a simple title.
don't duplicate your title.
Use more than two words in the title.
don't use a full block or small letters.
The title must be unique.

Meta Description

In the Search Engine Result Page (SERP), what the searcher will see is the meta description.
a basic snippet includes title, URL, meta description. A meta description is the Html attributes that give a summary of your webpage. It has to be descriptive and varies between 155-160 characters. Ranking of your webpage improves by CTR(Click Through Rate).
But the fact is Google does not always show the meta description.

Meta Description Optimization Tips:

Avoid auto generated description.
Include your focused keyword in the description.
Meta description must be unique and content must be impressive.

Body Section Optimization

In the body portion, h1 is the most& easily visible portion by google. An SEO analyst should write relevant content for the page and it must be paragraphs, each paragraph should have a meaningful heading. Heading should be the targeted keyword so that the search engine can easily understand the contents. The focusing keyword should nearly appear 4 times in the body section. Use at least 7-8 words in the h1,h2 tags. If a body section has h1 and h2 but contrasting, Google indexed it in SandBox. SandBox is the temporary database for suspect webpages. Using h1 and h2 will improve the ranking on Google.

Keyword Optimization

To get a higher rank in Google you should use relevant keywords on your website. Keywords must be meaningful. Let us check where we all need to include keywords.
The title of the page should have a relevant keyword.

Use keyword synonyms and variable keywords.
Optimize keywords in the picture of your webpages.
Includes keywords in the URL

Keyword Density

It is the percentage of a number of keywords that occur on your webpage. The website should have relevant and necessary keywords in it. Use keyword density in the range of 2-5%. Positioning keywords before a full stop or comma can give clarity to the google on what your page is about.

Content Optimization

It is the process of checking the content is written, in a way that it can reach the largest possible target audience. While processing the content of a webpage, it should make sure that associated keywords are present in your content. Writing quality content is the most important part of SEO.Google algorithm checks for important words in the content. While writing the content give importance to the readability of searcher, it will increase the ranking of your page. In content the making the focusing keyword in bold, increase the user readability.

Link/Anchor Text Optimization

Anchor text is the most visible portion of a link that is displayed within your webpage.
It is one of the important aspects of On-page and Off-page optimizations. In hyperlink anchor text is the clickable text.

Keep it simple and Versatile
Avoid the over-optimization of link
The anchors should relevant to the content
Avoid links from spammy websites
place anchors where users pay the most attention

Image Optimization

Images are the eye-catchable portion of a webpage. Optimizing the image is the process of reducing the file size of your image without compromising the quality so that your page load time is low. Optimizing the image is to deliver high-quality images in the right format and size.

While optimizing image

Name the image in a descriptive way
alt image is the identity of the image, so make the alt name/attribute simply
The size of the image file should be easily loadable
Make the surrounding contents of image relevant

GOOGLE ALGORITHM UPDATE

In my previous post, we just peeped into the history and evolution of Google.

To improve the user's trust and quality of websites, Google updated the algorithms. Let's check some important updations of google.

1. Google Panda Update (February 2011):

By SEO Starter Guide, webmasters make to change to their websites to get a higher ranking in google search results, so Google benefited a lot. But it leads to content spamming and content spinning. Content spamming means spammy or plagiarized content. People inserted or stuffed keywords wherever they could.

So the Google Panda Update arrived. This update targeted content spammers. Thin pages (webpages having content with very less or no quality), webpages which were content farmed or had duplicated content was completely removed from Google listings.

The Panda or Farmer Update became a filter for all websites. Each website which successfully passed these filters or met the terms and conditions of the website was crawled, cached and indexed by Google. A website that did not pass these filters was merely crawled and cached but never indexed.

2. The Penguin Update (April 2012):

This updation is against link spamming. Which website have more links from an outside website, it will be ranked first. People generated links to their website from other websites and also started buying(link exchange) and selling(paid links) links.

Webpages that were awarded a Page Rank by Google were considered the best websites to obtain links from. This resulted in a competitive distribution of links by owners of websites having higher Page Rank. Several websites and webpages were launched by the same owner under one host server, solely for the purpose of link building.
The Penguin Update was mainly focused to attack such link spammers. Google not support the selling of paid links as well as getting links from websites that carried out spamming activities.

They also avoided the website which had doorway pages, i.e., websites which had less or no content. Under this update, websites that had quality links, as well as links with trusted websites, had higher positions in Google listings.

3. The Pigeon Update (July 2014):

This update was related to local SEO, that is, providing location-based search engine results. It's not a punishment update. Google attempted delivering results based on the location of the IP address, from which the query was coming from. For example, if someone in New York searched for "Restaurants", Google would return his queries with restaurants based in New York, not in Washington or some other place.
Additionally, Geo-tagging or the adding of your location on Google Maps and showing the same on your website was also required.
Websites started to list their business on Google for local visibility, which was verified by a PIN number sent via post to the registered address. The important thing is to submit the website to the open directories online, such as the Yellow Pages.

4. The Hummingbird Update (2013):

This update focused on semantic search results. The search engine listings on the basis of the user activity, time spent on a website, the age, educational qualifications and the economic status of the search engine users, Google's special cookies or Spy-bots are used to track this.

5. Rankbrain Update (2015):

An extension to the Hummingbird algorithm, the Rankbrain update uses artificial intelligence or AI to process search engine results as per the human needs. This update uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) for tracking the user's needs based on their age group, individual preferences, and their recent searches even on websites other than Google.

6.EMD Update or the Exact Match Domain Update (September 2012):

This update was aimed to prevented low-quality websites from ranking high on Google just because they had their domain name exactly matching with search engine user terms. This update also removed those new websites which were not able to achieve Page Rank, in a given time period.

7. The Pirate Update (August 2012):

It is a filter that was introduced for the purpose of protecting the website owner's rights on copyrighted content. This update prevented websites that infringed on the copyrights of other users' digital content or digital properties. The victim was able to file a complaint about the infringement under DMCA (Digital Millenniums Copyright Act) under Google, after which Google would verify the exact owner and disable the duplicate website from appearing on search engine results.

8.The Mobilegeddon Update(2015):

The update arrived due to increasing search using mobile phones. The update launched for making the websites mobile friendly and viewing of websites comfortably on mobile phones, without having to tap or zoom. Websites that weren't mobile-friendly would be pushed down in Search Engine Rankings or would not be shown in the search engine results page in mobile phones.

9.Parked Domain Updation(April 2012)

It depends on what kind of parking you are referring to, if you talk about a sales lander similar to Undeveloped's then no, you won't necessarily lose any SEO that has been made on the domain as undeveloped provides both https and a customized description which will get indexed.

What is Search Engine Optimization?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) widely used around Google today. However the practice we now know as SEO pre-dates the world’s most popular search engine co-founds by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Searching the internet using Google or another search engine we all practice daily.SEO and all things search engine marketing begun with the launch of the first website in 1991, perhaps the story of SEO begins around 1997. So let us have a look at the history and evolution of the search engine.

Crawling is the process performed by search engine crawlers when searching for important websites on the index. a crawler also is known as "spiders" or "bots" which is a search engine's automatic navigator to discover which websites contain the most relevant information related to certain keywords.

Indexing is the process of adding webpages into Google search depending upon which Meta tag you used.
Caching helps to improve the load time of your web pages and thus optimize your site for the search engine.

What are the SEO Techniques?

SEO practices are classified into two, i.e., White hat and Black hat SEO. White hat SEO refers to the ethical practices to gain higher page rank. Black hat SEO refers to the unethical practice gaining a higher rank in the search engine.

SEO techniques adopted include on-page optimization and off-page optimization. On-page optimization refers to the activities carried out on the page which is to be published. Off-page optimization activities are done on a page after it becomes live on the web.

In earlier Google will be Niche (content) specific, it means webpages are using more keywords to increase the ranking in Google. The usage of keywords more in a website leads the keyword stuffing.

What is Keyword Stuffing?

Keyword Stuffing is the practice of loading webpages with more keywords or numbers in an attempt to manipulate a website's ranking in Google search. Black hat SEO, White hat SEO techniques are the two types of keyword stuffing.

In later content specific will be changed to Link Specific

Link Specific, Which websites have more links, it will be ranked first. Later link specific will changed to Quality link specific, only websites have quality links are ranked. Quality links support Page ranking.

Google introduced a new mechanism Passing the Juice SEO

Link Juice to refer value or equity passed one site to another, the value pass by hyperlinks. Here they updated an algorithm change rel=”nofollow” equity does not pass by hyperlinks.

This year, Google introduces a new feature of Social Media Signals, which website using social media like Facebook, which will be ranked higher.
