Many Forex traders spend their time looking for profitable Forex systems.  They get one system, try it out and quickly discard it into a pile of other systems they call “losers”.  Then they run off to their favorite Forex forum to complain about how they got “scammed” or how Forex doesn’t work for the little guy… or whatever their favorite complaint for failure is.

If you have done this yourselves, you might not like what I’m about to tell you!

There are a LOT of successful trading systems. The problem might not be the system you are trading… but YOU!

I’ve tested a great deal of trading systems and have found (like many of you), that some are garbage.  But I have also found plenty I could trade profitably.  So, I want to tell you a couple reasons you might be having trouble, and show how Vladimir Ribakov’s sRs Trend Rider system fixes one of these problems.

One of the reasons you might not be able to trade the trading system profitably is it does not fit your trading style or personality.  You really do need to identify your trading style and goals beyond, “I want to make a lot of money”!

Let’s say you found a a proven trading system and try to put it into practice… but it is not a good fit. Maybe the system has you trade at times that are inconvenient or has you trade currencies or time frames you don’t like.  Eventually, you will fail with this system because it is not right for you (while it might be perfect for someone else).

However, I think the main reason traders fail is because they don’t apply what they learn accurately. Most new traders want to make maximum profits on every trade, instead of taking profits and building their accounts over time.  This is a mistake because more often than not they stay in the trade too long and watch a winning trade turn into a loser.
