It was recently announced by the Chairman of the IDAF that the United Sates of America has won the bid to host the 2013 World Dwarf Games.

The sixth World Dwarf Games will be will be held at Michigan State University in East Lansing,  Michigan.

Dates- 3rd to 10th August, 2013

Australia will be working on sending a team

Sporting Events will include;

Track and Field (Athletics)

Basketball

Boccia

Swimming

Table Tennis

Badminton

Soccer

Powerlifting

Pistol Shooting

Archery

Venue: Albert Park Lake, Aughtie Drive, Albert Park. There is a playground, bbq facilities and a Rotunda opposite the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) where we’ll all be gathering.

Details: Santa will visit at about 12.30pm and Life Be In It will run some fun and games from 1.30pm.

The 44th SSPA Convention will be held at the Alexandra Park Conference Centre, Alexandra Headland, Queensland from Friday 30th September 2011 to Thursday 6th October 2011.
