 One of Northeast Florida’s most popular annual events, the Annual Creekside Festival takes place each October under the majestic oaks and along the stunning shores of Pellicer Creek. Held at Princess Place Preserve the Seventh Annual Creekside Festival will take place October 8 & 9, 2011. Last year, more than 17,000 guests joined the Chamber for two days of family-friendly fun including live bluegrass music, kayak and walking tours, an arts and crafts show, a photo contest, wide variety of food vendors, activities for the kids and much more in a picturesque natural setting.

Florida Agricultural Museum

Many of you have heard of a century plant but have never seen one bloom.  Once a century plant flowers, the plant dies.  This summer we had a centruy plant flower at St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Resort.  It was a very fascinating process.  Following are pictures showing the various stages of the bloom.  After the last picture the plant bent over almost to the ground by the road.  That is when we had to cut it off.  In the 3rd picture you can see how the wildfires in the area affected the air at the beach.
