New Features

- Option to export the contacts from your HighRise account to your phone’s native contact list. This will allow you quick and offline access to your Highrise contacts, in the same way you can currently access your friends/family.

- Option to immediately search contacts upon opening the app. By clicking the magnifying glass you can immediately search your contacts without loading any data. As a search will generally bring back only a handful of contacts, this allows you much quicker access to the required contacts. Very useful for making quick calls.

- Dropbox support – when you email a contact from the app, your dropbox email will be automatically copied (as in the online HighRise) and your email will be recorded under your contact in your Highrise account. Note: You may need to login and logout to make this work.

- After making calls you are taken to a screen with the option to make a note about the call and record this in your Highrise account.

- Clicking on a phone number in the app will now initiate a call to that contact.

- Other bug fixes and UI changes

In this update we’ve tried to improve the speed at which you can access your Highrise contacts. Hopefully our users understand that speeds of mobile networks and capabilities of mobile devices are limited so requesting contact data from the Highrise servers and parsing it is a process that takes time. The limiting factors are somewhat out of our control, so we’ve tried to provide options that can sidetrack these delays. If you regularly just need to grab contact info to make calls, then consider importing your Highrise contacts into your phone’s address book. If you don’t want to mix your business contacts and personal ones, then use the immediate search functionality (click the magnifying glass) and make targeted searches. If your search brings back just 10-20 names, you should find it quite fast.

The other features we’ve added should allow for better recording of your dealings with your contacts. Emails will automatically be saved in your account and you can create notes right after calling contacts. These features will be especially useful for working on mobile devices, helping you record your dealings automatically/easily.
