Today's card is a CASE of one that I saw on the internet a while back that features the Papillon Potpourri stamp set. It was done in neutrals, & I thought it would be pretty in pinks.

This card also features the Curly Cute stamp set, which is retiring June 1st. I love this word set, & will be sorry to see it go!

Delightful Dozen Get Well Card

Today's card features the very versitile Delightful Dozen stamp set, which has a stamp for almost every occasion! Love this set! Also featured is the Creped Filter Paper, which is in the Mini Catalog and will appear in the new Big Catalog, too! Whoot!

To create the Crepe Filter Paper flower, first I spritzed the paper with the Gold Glow Smooch Spritz (retiring soon!), then used my Brayer to cover it in Primrose Petals ink. After the ink dried (didn't take long), I used my Blossom punch to punch out 4 flowers. The Crepe Filter Paper is very thin, so I layered it with a piece of printer paper before punching. I crumbled the flowers, added the brad, then shaped them the way I wanted them. Love it!

Label Love Masculine Card

Hi! Yesterday I shared a feminine card featuring the new Label Love stamp set and Soho Subway Designer Series Paper, & today I have a masculine version. I sometimes find it very hard to find products that work well for a masculine card, but the Soho Subway DSP is perfect!

I simply used more masculine colors and substituted brads for ribbon & voila!, a masculine card that is clean & simple! I also love the Window Frames Framelits dies that create the background for the Artisan Label punched piece.

Label Love Sneak Peek!

Whoot! All of my new sneak peek goodies from Stampin' Up! arrived this week, & I am so excited! My family had a million things going on this weekend, but I finally got a chance to play with my new stuff this afternoon.

This card features the brand new Label Love stamp set and the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper. Oh, it also had a brand new In Color, Crisp Canteloupe! Love it!

Isn't that new paper yummy? The number print is perfect for a birthday card.

I couldn't decide whether to make a masculine or feminine birthday card, so I decided to make both. This is the feminine card. Check back tomorrow to see the masculine! This DSP is so versitile; it is perfect for lots of occasions and great for masculine cards, which are sometimes hard to make. :-)

Mouthwatering... I hardly knew ya

I can't believe I FINALLY got around to using the awesome Mouthwatering stamp set and the Cherry scented Embossing Powder, and now they both are retiring! Waaaaaahhh! This is such a great stamp set for summer!

I love how this card turned out! The gorgeous Doily Die with the Summer Smooches DSP and the Old Olive brads... I love this card! Also retiring on this card is the Lucky Limeade cardstock and marker. I was sad that Lucky Limeade didn't make it into the new Color Refresh. Such a bright and cheery color

Best of Butterflies

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Second, Stampin' Up! has announced their new Color Refresh! Here are the deets:

Announcing our Color Refresh! We love color and we know that you do too. Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It’s important for us to stay up-to-date with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!

Why now? In 2010 we did a big color renovation and shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new color, so take a look!

Beginning on April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the retired list period.

Personally, I am very excited about these new changes! I was already crying over the retirement of Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, & Pool Party, and Soft Sky is my all-time favorite Stampin' Up! color! Yippee! What do you think?
