Still no stamping

Hi friends! I'm sorry to report that I still can't find time to stamp these days with a newborn baby. I hope you'll keep checking back! Lilah likes to party all night, so I am completely sleep deprived & can't get anything done. I am enjoying her so much though, so it is all worth it! Hope to have some new projects to post tomorrow or this weekend! Thanks for sticking with me. :-)

Hello! Thank you for being patient with me. Having a new baby is throwing me for a loop, & I can't seem to find time to stamp for my blog. This week I've been working on my projects for Paper Craft Academy, which I finished today, and are AWESOME!!! (if I do say so myself. LOL!) So hopefully tomorrow I'll have some time to stamp for you! Here's a little sneak peek of one of my PCA projects, in case you are interested in joining my Online Club.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments and emails about my new baby girl! I feel very loved, and it feels great to know that you are regular readers of my blog! Baby Lilah and I are both doing very well now. She is 10 days old today, and has already brought us so much joy!

I finally was able to take some time in my stamp room & create some new projects to share with you! My first project was a CASE from a card that I saw on the internet by Mary Fish. I loved how her layout showcased the new Hearts Framelits dies, so I decided to change up the patterned paper and a little bit of the design & post my own version of it:

This card is loaded with brand new goodies! Hello! I'm so sorry for my long absence, but things have been a bit crazy since I last posted! As you know, I was scheduled to be induced on December 28th, but over the Christmas weekend, I noticed a growing bruise on my leg. I went to the doctor on the 27th, assuming it would be nothing, but it turned out to be a Deep Vein Thrombosis (clot), so I was immediately admitted to the hospital & my induction was postponed. As you can imagine, I was devestated. They ended up inducing me on the 29th, but I could only be off of the blood thinners for 6 hours, so at that point, they decided to do a C-Section. Another devestating blow. I ended up being in the hospital for 7 days, just got home on Monday, & have had house guests ever since. Phew!

The great news though, is that Lilah Dalton Fitzgerald was born on the 29th, weighing in at 8 lbs 10 oz. She is perfect and we are madly in love with this little girl!

I haven't had a chance to stamp at all since before her birth (obviously), but I hope to get back to it very soon. If you are in my stamp club, this month's projects will be a little late, but I will get to them as quickly as I can. In the mean time, I have a photo of our little angel to share with you:

She is 1 week old today, but this photo was when she was about 2 days old in the hospital.

Baby Prints for my baby girl!

Today I am being induced. I cannot believe the day is finally here! We had to be at the hospital at the crack of dawn, so hopefully Baby Girl will be here by the end of the day! Whoot!!!

When I saw the Baby Prints stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog, I immediately started imagining all of the wonderful projects I could make about my new baby, especially scrapbook pages. I can't wait to start preserving our early memories of her in a scrapbook!

Today's card features this set. This is also a case of the project in the Mini Catalog, but I changed the colors & accessories:

Ohmygosh, I love it! The patterned paper is the new Sweet Shop DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The white polka dots are embossed, so it has a very pretty texture. I love the Wisteria Wonder & Pretty in Pink combination.
