Punch Potpourri & Flight of the Butterfly

Hello! Today I have the final project from my Open House last weekend to share. This is a cute little bookmark that features the Level 1 Hostess stamp set, Punch Potpourri and the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set. When I first got the new Idea Book and Catalog and saw the Hostess stamp sets, I squealed out loud! I love every one of them! This set has 4 stamps that match 4 of our punches including the butterfly and the bird. Love it!

Wow, that photo is BIG!

Of course I could have used the butterflies from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, but they are 2-step stamping stamps, and these were brand new stampers. Plus, the butterfly from Punch Potpourri has letters on it, so I thought that was super cute for a bookmark.

This bookmark features all new In Colors: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Blushing Bride, and Pear Pizzazz. Love these new colors!

After a couple of attempts, I found that it was easiest to stamp the sentiment first, so that I could line up the butterfly ahead of his "trail".

Great Friend

Hello! Today I have a card to share that we made at my Open House yesterday. It went really well, & I think everyone had a good time. :-) This card features the stamp set, Great Friend.

Ooh, I am so happy that they brought back Baja Breeze! That color with Soft Suede, Old Olive, and Very Vanilla is gorgeous.

On a more personal note... my mom is in the ICU and had to be intubated, so I may disappear for a few days without warning. I'm hoping that she stabilizes, but I may have to rush off to Nashville. My plan is to keep posting new projects every day, though, so be sure to check back often.

Homemade

Hello! Another quick post today... I'm getting ready for my Open House! I think our air conditioner isn't working downstairs, & it is supposed to be over 100 degrees today! We'll see what happens.

Today's project features the single stamp called Homemade. What a great stamp for giving food gifts!

The box was made with the Fancy Favor Die for the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. I just used the paper trimmer to cut off the top of the box. The stamp was inked in Marina Mist, my favorite blue.

Hi everyone! Quick post tonight... my kids left for a couple of days in NC with friends, & I"m busy getting ready for my Open House tomorrow. I'll be sure to share the other make & takes tomorrow, but tonight, I'm enjoying a quiet night with my husband.

Those of you who know or know of my mom, she is back in the hospital with an infection & has been having mini seizures. Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers.

Every Little Bit meets Curly Cute

Hello! This weekend I have my Stampin' Up! Open House to get my business started here in Richmond, & I am so excited! I've continued doing classes in Raleigh, but it is time to get it going here, too.

This is one of the projects that we will be doing. It starts with a 6 x 6 piece of Rose Red cardstock, and the guests can choose whether to make a scrapbook page or a card.

As you can see, it is the exact layout. Look how little Ciara was. That seems like 100 years ago, but I guess it was 7 years ago. <sigh> They're growing up too fast!

The present stamp is from the Every Little Bit stamp set, which has 28 cute little stamps. I can see myself using this set for so many occasions.

The gorgeous sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set. Love that font! Both of these sets are brand new in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. Oh my goodness, how cute is this stamp set? When I first saw the new Idea Book and Catalog, I could not believe how awesome all of the Level 1 Hostess Stamp Sets were. Seriously, I had such a hard time picking which one I wanted with my first order. This set is adorable, & a great watercoloring set.

The Island Oasis DSP from the Summer Mini catalog screams birthday party to me, so I couldn't wait to combine it with this stamp set. Love the bright colors!

Hello! I hope you've had a great weekend! I sure did, but it really flew by! I meant to film some videos today, but instead I ran errands. I did manage to make some time to stamp though. My nephew, Henry, is turning 2 next month, & my sister Ashley asked me to make some thank you notes for his party. The invitation has a monkey on it, & she has always called him "Monkey", so of course I had to pull out my favorite Fox & Friends stamp set!

Aren't they cute? Ash prefers the top one, since it has all of the colors & the balloon. The gift & balloon are from the Family Accessories stamp set, & the Thank You is from the Thank You Kindly stamp set. These will be super easy to crank out a stack!
