It’s time for another edition of Monday Montage!

As I sat down to make a card this week, I just wasn’t very inspired by the stamp sets I had sitting around.  Then I came across the Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  I realized that I had never used the stamp set before, even though I’ve had it for months.  So I sat down to get started and chose this quote from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas as the greeting (Side note: One of my favorite reads of 2016).  I’ve been going through a rough time lately, and this is a quote that has really touched me.

In addition to the alphabet stamps, I used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut the circles. I embellished the card with some Silver Metallic Thread and an In Color Enamel Shapes.

Today I’m sharing a simple card featuring the Foxy Friends stamp set. This card came together really quickly using the Layering Squares Framelits. (To make the square a rectangle I just ran the scalloped square through the big shot a second time so that it would cut off the bottom section of the square. Hope that makes sense.)

The love you greeting was created using the Thoughtful Banners stamp set. I stamped love, and then I just inked up the you from “thank you”.

This card features the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and Seasonal Decorative Masks. 

I created the background of this card by using the dots mask from the Seasonal Decorative Masks with Versamark ink.  Then I heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. Then I watercolored over the embossing with an Aqua Painter.  The “congrats” was also pressed in Versamark ink and the heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
