Not the usual title you'd see for a stampin' project, right? I had a blast designing this masculine card for the deer hunter's in my life.

As a country girl, I grew up and the first week of deer season we were out of school because it's such a big deal! Today, my friends and I are considered Hunting Widows as the guys head out to deer camp to get that big buck! This is a great card to wish those guys good luck!

Here's how to recreate this:

1. The card base is Pumpkin Pie cardstock and embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder #127821 $7.95. Ink the embossing folder with Chocolate Chip Ink before adding in the cardstock and running it through the Big Shot.

2. Copy the Clear Mount Perfectly Placed Guides (#121785) $5.95 that we sell for the clear blocks. Print onto cardstock, cut and stamp the deer image in Chocolate Chip Ink.

The deer stamp comes from Remembering Christmas from our Holiday Catalog -

#131760 (wood) $17.95 or #131763 (clear) $13.95

3. Stamp onto a window sheet cut to the size of the cardstock with Black StazOn ink.

I used Gorgeous Grunge #130514 $24.95 or #130517 $17.95 and from our Carry Over List, Greetings of the Season #128030 $15.95 (wood) or #128033 $11.95 (clear)

4. Adhere window sheet to cardstock with mini glue dots, strategically placed behind the "bullet holes".

My Digital Studio Classes are Here!

My classes are available to demonstrators and customers alike...for anyone wanting an easy step-by-step approach to learning My Digital Studio. There's something about being in a small class where you are able to ask questions and receive real-time answers about the project we are working on at that time. I have started these classes with my downline and other demonstrators, so it has PROVEN to be easy and efficient! I hope you'll give it a shot.

Open House - Near and Far

I'm holding an Open House tomorrow in my North Carolina home to meet the neighbors and introduce myself as the new, resident Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. :0) Everyone's invited!

I Found My Blog!

I did it...I found my blog again! (Did you know that life could get so crazy that you could lose such a thing?)

Since life has been so crazy after moving to North Carolina a few months ago, I have been doing more with My Digital Studio. Here are just a few of the reasons why:

Decor Elements to make me laugh

I am loving adding more Decor Elements to my home! This newest one makes me laugh, because I have 2 pomeranians who look like little lions when they're outside looking in through the grasses on the door! :0) If you look closely, you might be able to see them, too.

Hey, Everybody!
I'm back from all my recent travels. I moved my husband to North Carolina the first week in April. He is in the Army and was reassigned to recruit for Special Forces for the next 3+ years! So...stamping will be a great way to pass the time, don't you think? Then, I came home for just a few days to frantically work to get ready for the Stampin' Up! Cruise to the Southern Caribbean! Since the hubby couldn't go, a good friend of mine was able to accompany me to San Juan, PuertoRico for a few days and then we boarded our ship, Adventure of the Seas, for the Southern Caribbean. I can't thank you all enough for being such wonderful customers and downline members to allow me to have earned that honor. I want you ALL to join us on these trips!!! :0) (You can do it, ya know?)

I'll post some pictures when I can, 'cause I've got some funny ones, but for now, I need to keep stampin' to have everything ready for you this month! Keep watching, as I will be posting the projects for the month along with some sneak peak's for my Workshop of a Lifetime with Shelli Gardner coming up on May 14th! Now that the blog is back, I will not be able to add my cool things until May! Our timing just doesn't always work out for us, does it?
