Did you miss me last week? I was so sick, I didn't even feel like stamping!! Hard to believe, huh?!! So, this week, I combined last week's sketch with this week's color challenge!!

Aren't these pretty colors? Here's my card:

I used Eastern Blooms stamp set--an old favorite! Along with the challenge colors, I used whisper white! And, in the center of the flower, I used microbeads to add a little sparkle! Simple and fast!! I made this card in five minutes!!

Not Quite Navy!

This is another of the cards we made last night with Card Club! Very Simple!! I used Not Quite Navy Classic Ink and cardstock and Naturals White cardstock. The brads are from the Earth Elements Brads. The stamp set is a Level III hostess set, Kind & Caring Thoughts.

Little Black Dress

Happy Monday!! Tonight is our Card Club meeting--can't wait!! We always have such a good time!! Here's a sneak peek at one of the cards we're making tonight!

I love this card--so elegant!!! The dress is cut from the Groom Specialty paper. It's the scallop circle die, cut with the Big Shot! Then, just trim off the sides--super easy! I used the White Satin Ribbon and a Clear Rhinestone Brad to complete my Little Black Dress! The sentiment is from Whimsical Words--a set you can earn FREE!!! Ask me how!

Friday Night Club

Good morning!! It looks like it's going to be cold today. March in New Mexico is hard--you just never know what weather we're going to get!! It's been so pretty the last 3-4 days, but a little cloudy today. Oh well--great weather for stamping!! And, I have alot to do--I'm about 2 weeks behind in thank-you's, so I'd better get busy!!

Before I get started, here are the projects we made at my stamp club on Friday night!

These were made using the Stampin' Up! Bitty Box & Envelope Die and Big Shot. I used Glorious Green and Naturals White cardstock. The stamp is a single stamp available in the Occasions Mini called "Go Green". The clear acrylic dot over the clover is from the Build-a-Brads--for some reason, when I used all my brads, there were still dots left!! I thought they were a cute way to highlight the clover!!

These are the little notes we made to go inside! There is an envelope on the die, but I really wanted to use the Glassine Envelopes--I love the way you can see what's inside!! These are the Small Square Envelopes. The cards were just a piece of cardstock ( 1 7/8" x 3 3/4") folded in half. We stamped the circle from Circle Circus and punched with the Scallop Circle square. Simple and cute!!

The second project we made was an idea I found on Connie's Blog! The only thing I changed was the bow tie--I can't tie a bow!! :-)

We had alot of fun on Friday night. Of course, I always do. It's funny how these ladies start out as customers, but quickly become friends. I love hanging out with them!!

Only 24 days of Sale-a-bration left!!! I do have a couple of dates left for workshops--give me a call!!

Divas Sketch Challenge #73

Good morning!! It's Saturday (hooray!), and that means a sketch challenge over at the UDI Blog!! This week's sketch was nice and simple--those are my favorites!! Be sure you click over to see the sketch!!

Here's my take on it:

The card base is whisper white, then another layer of whisper white, but this one has added texture--using my big shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder! The next layer is also whisper white stamped with pretty in pink ink, using my Circle Circus stamp set. The sentiment is from Whimsical Words, and is stamped with Black Stazon. The ribbon is Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon. I like it--it's clean and simple!! Hope you do, too!!
