It's the end of the year, and what better way to celebrate at Pals Paper Arts than announcing the Best Dressed List of 2011. Each member of the design team chose their favorite winners for a specific month (some chose for two months, I was one who did.) I'm thrilled to share my choices for 2011. Be sure to head on over to Pals Paper Arts to check out the choices for each month. And from all of us on the PPA DT, you are all winners!! I love a 3D project, and this offering from Meg McGarry, submitted in...

Over at Pals Paper Arts it's time for another sassy sketch challenge, featuring a sketch by the fabulous (and yes, sassy!!) Margaret Moody. And it's a "sassy" challenge, simply because I wanted to use the word "sassy!!" This is the gorgeous sketch that we have from which to draw our inspiration. I had fun making my card this week, I've decided that I could be happy making Christmas cards all year long. I'm excited to see what the sketch inspires you to create. And be looking for Christmas cards from me at random times throughout 2012. 'Cause I'm sassy like...

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you're having a blessed day. There is so much that I am thankful for, and I pray that I am mindful of that not just today, but every day. And as we pause to give thanks, I thank the Lord for His saving grace, which has brought me to where I am today. This is no greater thing for which I am thankful. And I know that my precious nephews Alex and Jacob know how thankful I am for them, and how much I love them. Because I keep telling them whenever I see them. To...

Yup, I said it, CHRISTMAS!! It's the holidays!! It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away. (Go ahead, have a little freak out. I'll wait.) For today's Pals Paper Arts inspiration challenge we have this gorgeous picture to use as our inspiration. I love the traditional look and colors of this picture. It reminds me of an old-fashioned Christmas card. And I particularly love all of the gorgeous creations that my fellow PPA Design Team members were inspired to created. It all puts me in the holiday spirit. I'm on a fun road trip this weekend, I...

For this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge, we have a chance to play with some gorgeous neutrals. I don't know about you, but I'm great at incorporating neutrals here and there in my projects, but I rarely ever do one that is primarily neutrals. What have I been waiting for?!! These are the gorgeous colors that we get to play with, and I have to say that I might just be in love.
For this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge we get another gorgeous sketch from the fabulous Margaret Moody. This is a classic sketch, and the possibilities are endless. I knew that I wanted to use wide ribbon on this card, and the horizontal space on the card was perfect for it. I built the rest of the card around that. It was fun to pull out some Christmas stamps to play with--it's never too early!!
