I have had more fun playing with the dress frameits! I wanted to make my friend, Leisa, a thank you gift, so I made a set of dress cards and packaged them together with a tag. I used the Sycamore Street designer series paper leftover from Sale A Bration paired with Pool Party and Going Gray card stock. Here is how they turned out:
A lot has happened since my last blog post! Bill and I were engaged! We are very excited and will plan on getting married next year after our youngest daughters graduate from high school.
That being said, it got me thinking about engagement announcements, wedding save-the-dates, shower invitations, etc. I have a lot of cute ideas that I've either made or received in swaps, etc. that I thought would be fun to share.
Using the cute dress up framelits, I created a wedding dress card as well as a long dress card using Pool Party card stock (I tried recreating my daughter, Lindsay's, prom dress)!

Getting ready for the Easter Bunny is always tons of fun. I've been busy today preparing little Easter goodies for my daughters and some other special children I will be seeing tomorrow! I created these super easy bunny tags made from the Heart punch and oval punches. The nose is made from the 1/2" circle punch, and the eyes from 1/4" punch.
I bought those cute m&m Easter goodies and wrapped them in a cello bag with Easter grass. Something small - but children always love a little special treat!

The bunny tag is super quick and cute - I used leftover Sycamore Street Sale-A-Bration paper as the background, along with some cute ribbon.
Same idea for girls - but I used that wonderful 1-1/4" two-tone pink ribbon (Pink Pirouette/Rose Red) in the Spring Occasions catalog!
My daughters are 17 and 20, but they still enjoy Easter surprises... gift cards, hair accessories and money! But I still like to embellish with a little bunny tag. They will always be my baby girls! :)

Spring is here (although in Ohio, it might seem hard to believe!) I'm determined to stamp spring-themed cards! :)
My April classes will feature five designs, and everyone will make two of each card. Here is a sneak peek at four of the cards we will be making at April card classes...
Mother's Day - this card can be a special Mother's Day card, or you can change up the greeting to make it birthday or anything else. I love the All Dressed Up framelits - so adorable. I cut out the cress and ran through the fan embossing folder. I also embossed Very Venilla card stock with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and sponged with Coral ink. I accessorized the dress with a rhinestone and a flower (5/8" Flower Trim).
Father's Day or Masculine Card - Fore! Not all men like golf, but a lot of them do! I saw this cute idea on Pinterest and had to make it. Super easy using the Oval punch as well as the triangle punch. The ball is made by first running the Whisper White card stock through the polka dot embossing folder and then punching with the 1/2" circle punch.
Spring Butterflies - Another cute idea I saw on Pinterest using the butterfly punch with a rainbow of card stock colors. Quick, cute and easy!
Designer Series Paper strips - we all have scraps of paper lying around. Have you tried trimming a few strips of paper from a paper pack and placing side by side? Since our papers coordinate, you always end up with a well-coordinated, cute card. This card features Summer Smooches DSP along with the flower punch and coordinating brad. Choose any greeting and voila! :)

Here is a treat you could make for Easter goodies or another spring celebration - just put pastel m&m's into the 1"x8" cello bags and affix a stamped tag (stamp set pictured is Secret Garden from the Spring Occasions catalog) using the beautiful two tone Pink Pirouette/Rose Red ribbon and voila! Cute and easy!
Drumroll.... such cute cards for stamp camp this Saturday. Here's a sneek peak at the cards you will be making! There are 11 demonstrators participating, and each card was designed and made by a different demonstrator. We are featuring several of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets such as Pretty Petites, Patterned Occasions and Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper, along with a nice selection of items from the Spring occasions catalog. last week to stamp! It's such a treat to get to stamp without having to cut a
single piece of card stock! ;) Thank you, Susi!

LOVE this! I have seen this on Pinterest and think it's so cute. To create the
mug, measure over about 1/2 inch on either side of the card base (fold is at
top). Mark the spot, and then use the paper trimmer to cut from mark to fold at
top. It is embellished with the cute coffee mug from Patterned Occasions stamp
set (Sale-A-Bration).
Whale card
Another cute Susi card - she used the Oh, Whale! stamp set and the accompanying
Happy Whale Clearlits Die. So adorable!
