I love this new stamp set in the mini catalog called Love and Laughter. I found a lot of samples using this stamp set on Stamp Crazy Girl's website, and I used those as my inspiration! Thank you to her!!

This is a classic card using Morning Mocha designer series paper. It could be a masculine card if you used the striped paper rather than the swirly design. The card is embellished with ivory satin ribbon and the scallop punch. I used the medallion stamp from the Fresh Vintage Sale-A-Bration stamp set.

I cannot take any credit for this card! One of the wonderful ladies in my downline, Marilyn Goodrich, designed this card using the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and Blossom punch. The only thing I added was the brad (from the Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment brad pack) in the center of the flower.

This card features Sprinkled Expressions (from Sale-A-Bration) and is quick and easy. I stamped in Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink, and I ran the paper through the Big Shot with the Lattice embossing folder. Accessorized with Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon.

I discovered this card on a fellow demonstrator's site (Stamp4fun) and fell in love with its simplicity. It features almost all Sale-A-Bration products: Fresh Vintage stamp set, Everyday Enchantment designer series paper, Everyday Enchantment brad and ribbon pack.

February Stamp Club - Valentine's Day & Sale-A-Bration

I always love February - spring is within reach and, of course, Valentine's Day is a great way to remind the special people in your life that you love them! :) This month at stamp club, we are making a simple Valentine's Day treat as well as two all occasion cards.

This simple treat container resembles a sour cream container and couldn't be easier to make! Take a piece of paper or card stock (here, I used the doily designer series paper) that measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Roll up like a toilet paper roll and tape. Then, pinch one end together and adhere. Turn 1/4 turn and pinch again and tape (first put chocolate or some other goodie inside). You can crimp the ends to give it extra security. The tag was very simple - the decorative label punch embellished with the Fashionable Hearts embosslits die in multiple colors (Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral and Pretty in Pink).

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing, which means free product. The card above was created with almost ALL Sale-A-Bration items. I absolutely love the Sale-A-Bration designer series paper (Everyday Enchantment). The stamp set also is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog - Fresh Vintage. I used Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade markers to ink the stamp. The greeting is from the Outlined Occasions stamp set. The coral ribbon and brad accessories are in the Everyday Enchantment ribbon and brad pack, and are the perfect touch to any card. The background ribbon is our new pleated satin ribbon in Pear Pizzazz from the Spring Occasions mini catalog.

Last, but not least, here is a cute, fun and different card you can make very quickly. The highlight? I used the melon scented embossing powder found in the new spring occasions mini catalog. It smells great! I embossed the popsicle using the Versamark pad and scented emboss powder onto Calypso Coral card stock. The background paper is the new Sweet Shop designer series paper. Also, I used the Labels Collection framelits dies for the white and coral pieces behind the popsicle. Happy creating!

Everyday Enchantment Creative Journal

Sale-A-Bration begins Tuesday, which means free product for customers spending $50 or more. One of my favorite Sale-A-Bration items this year is the Everyday Enchantment paper, printed in colors such as Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade. Other accessories used for this project include the new Blossom punch, antique brads, lace ribbon, taffeta ribbon, Top Note die for the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.

I covered this 5x5" journal with the paper and added embellisments to create a "Creativity Journal." All of the ladies who joined a 2012 stamp club (clubs begin in February) will receive a creativity journal to decorate in appreciation of joining a club for the year. I am having a contest, with everyone bringing their decorated journal to stamp club in March. The winning journal will earn a $20 gift certificate to spend in the catalog. Cheers!

Happy New Year!

Valentine's Day is around the corner, which means it's time to start thinking about Valentine's cards and creations. Using new products from the Stampin' Up! Occasions mini catalog, I created some fun Stamp Club projects:

Products used: Adorning Accents Edgelit Die with Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and Bordering on Romance border stamp; Take It to Heart stamp set; Melon Mambo card stock; Blushing Bride pleated satin ribbon; Whisper White ink; Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, Dazzling Diamonds glitter; Heart punch.

Products used: Matchbox Die for the Big Shot; Candy Conversations; Melon Mambo striped grosgrain ribbon; It's a Wrap Holiday stamp set; pearl accents.

Products Used: Twitterpated Designer Series Paper; Mixed Bunch stamp set; Blossom punch; Pear Pizzazz pleated satin ribbon; So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz card stock. Cut two petals from punched flower to create butterfly. In addition, the rock-n-roll technique was used for the butterfly color.

Altered Frame with new Mixed Bunch Set

When I saw the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and matching punch, I knew I would love creating things with them! I made a Christmas gift for one of my friends using both of those to embellish a frame I found at Target. The frame was cute, but it was definitely lacking the wow factor!

Accessories used: Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper, Blossom punch, Filigree designer brads, Silver Embossing powder with Versamark pad and Basic Black 1-1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon. Below is a close up of two of the flowers.

Picture Christmas Card

Every year, I make my own photo Christmas cards... I try to make each one unique, and I think I've featured some of them through the years on my blog. Now that Emma is in college and Lindsay is in high school, it's really fun for them to go back through the cards and see how they have changed through the years (complete with precious "young years" and the "awkward preteen years").

This year's card uses the new silver glimmer paper for lots of bling! And, I love the Stitched Stocking stamp set and Stocking Builder punch. I ran the black card stock through the Big Shot with the snowflake embossing folder, too!

Christmas & Cookies at Club

Had a great stamp club tonight with a great group of ladies!

Several of these ladies have been in stamp club for almost 10 years with me... I appreciate them so much!! :) Our projects tonight were all about Christmas!

This is a simple gift card holder using an envelope. Seal the envelope and cut one inch off a shorter side. Then run a border punch along the edge (I used the scallop edge). Decorate front of envelope with designer series paper, ribbon, and of course a little glimmer paper! I embellished with the Stitched Stocking set and stocking builder punch with Cherry Cobbler ink and silver glimmer paper. The insert is made with Lucky Limeade card stock and a stamped greeting. Just affix gift card with a mini glue dot (see below). Easy and cute!

The card below is another easy one. I ran some sheets of Old Olive through the Big Shot using the Lattice embossing folder. I punched out six hearts, sponged the edges with Whisper White ink and arranged in a tree pattern. Decorate with red circles as ornaments and a yellow star on top.

For the card below, I used the new Stocking for the Big Shot, folded a 12x6" piece of card stock in half and placed the fold just beneath the top edge of the stocking die, so that stocking would be a folded card. Then, I embellished with designer series paper for the stocking accents and stamped greeting.

It's Beginning to Get Closer to Christmas...

Happy 11-11-11! Poor Thanksgiving - always seems to get pushed aside for Christmas! This is the case for my November stamp clubs. We focused on all Holiday ideas this month.

First, we created tags from the cute Winter Wishes Stitched Felt accents from the 2011 Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. Super easy and quick, and no doubt will dress up any package. I used the brown and white bakers twine as well as designer series paper accents from the Holly Berry Bouquet pack and the Silver Glimmer paper as well (love that!!). These ideas were shown to demonstrators at the Louisville Regional conference.

This cute treat is easy and takes very little in the way of materials! I used Twizzler licorice pieces to fill the 1x8" cello bag. The Santa head is made with all punches! I used oval punches, the ornament punch for the beard (which I ran through the Elegant Lines embossing folder for the big shot), and the bird punch for the mustache. A little silver Glimmer paper gives it some pizzazz, too!

Here is a quick, easy holiday card to make using the Stitched Stocking set and Stocking Builder punch from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Embellishments include the Holly Berry Bouquet designer series paper, Pear Pizzazz seam binding, Real Red card stock run through the Big Shot, large scallop punch and 1 3/4" circle punch. Finished off with a rhinestone! :) Love the bling! Happy Veterans Day!

Decorated Notebooks Make Great Gifts

There are 11 of us heading to Louisville tomorrow to attend the Stampin' Up! Regional conference in Louisville. I wanted to give everyone something as a thank you gift - and here is what I came up with!

These are very simple to make! Wrap a Composition notebook with designer series paper. I cut two sheets of the In Color DSP to 9 3/4" x 8" and taped to the front and back of the notebook. Then, using the leftover strips, I punched one edge of the 4" x 9 3/4" strip with the lace scallop edge punch. I printed names onto white card stock and mounted on alternate pieces of designer series paper. I decorated with flowers stamped with the Triple Treat flower and punched with the large flower punch. I layered several flowers and placed an In-color polka dot brad in the middle.
