Lovely as a Tree has been a favorite stamp set of mine for years! I was pleased to see it made the new catalog. It is a great year round stamp set, and is also great for masculine cards. For this card I used Island Indigo as the base of the card, and stamped the tree image on glossy card stock (on the retirement list). I used sponges and ink pads to add color for the sky and trees. I used Lucky Limeade, and Island Indigo. The greeting is from Sweet Essentials stamp set. Happy Stamping! Kristen Bryant

I am short on time so I used our Note Card and Envelopes. They are on the retired list, but do not worry, they have new ones in the new catalog. I had a bunch of designer series paper scraps from another project, so I cut some down and taped them on. To finish it, I stamped Thank You from the stamp set Perfectly Penned. Quick and easy!
We went to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to get a closer look at the volcanoes. We started by looking at the Thurston Lava Tube. They say lava flowed through this 500 years ago. This is a steam vent. Rain that has seeped into the ground and is heated by Kilaue and comes out as steam. Looking across it looks like there could be a fire going on, but there are steam vents all over. Our next stop was to walk across a once-molten lake of lava in Kilauea Iki Crater. We took a 4 mile hike to see it...
