Now I've got TONS of those booklets with quotes on vellum purchased from years ago!  It's so hard to figure out to do with those suckers, but here's one way I used a popular quote/phrase.  I thought it would make a nice card sentiment and added it to my card as the focal point.  You could also cut down the words into sections and glue them to your card from or scrapbook page (

Because I've planned ahead this year, I've been able to design a quick card for the kids to give away at school on Valentine's Day.  I mean, I've got TONS of paper, ink, and know-how so WHY do I need to buy them at the store? With the new year comes New Year Resolutions!  I need to up my activity level again :)  This photo was taken a few years ago at a the Iron Girl in Seattle.  I did the 5K that day. Done in about 30 minutes!  I used an old freebie I got a couple years ago.  It was a set of Christmas Card templates by Lori Whitlock.  I just opened up my Photoshop Elements editor and dropped in my photo and it was DONE!  Because they were sized at 4x6, I only have to pay the cost of printing these photos (which was 20 cents each).  Compare that to .75 or even $1

Hi guys!   Just a quick share and fun "before and after" photos to show you just how much Liquid Pearls can transform a card from blah to Wow!  Below is a fun stamped card made with watercolor markers.  It's pretty cool all on it's own..... Adding a layer of Liquid Pearls transformed the card by giving it a sassy star quality!  It just took a couple minutes.

Just cranking out some scrapbook pages.  I took an easy approach and cut a few pieces of patterned paper, arranged them on my solid piece of green cardstock along with my photo, and glued them down one I found a good design.  This was done in a matter of minutes. This one is an old photo of my now 10 year old baby girl (in the photo she was 3).  My how time flies!

Here's another oldie but goodie I found!  I stuck with lots of black and white and splashes of colors like pink and blue.  It made for a beautiful scrapbook page.
