I just love how easy it is to make these fun cards. You can also make an extended card. I ,also love using the accessories on cards and scrapbooking .

I have cut out all the accessories and glued them onto cardstock so I can see which set they belong to

I made the back panel by cutting out the dies and putting cardstock behind to give you different colours

I made embelishments using the accessories and a frame, also see below on scrap page. I put coloured cardstock behind.

New Stampin' Up! envelope punch, Available Now!

Hi, the new Envelope punch Board is here. The more you play with it the more you can make, It makes 66 different size envelopes, you can make boxes & file folders.

This is an Easel Card I CASED and then made an envelope to suite. I also embossed the triangle flap, sorry the photo is not that great, you can't really see the embossing.

I used the SU heart framelits to make this great card.

Hi, here are a few scrapbooking pages I have been working on over the past months.

This one was done at a Scrapbooking Retreat, with some of my friends and some new friends we made.

Exploring the cruise ship before we set sail. A fun technique, unscrew the lid on your spray bottle with colour in it and draw circles over your page.

I have some more, but I can't get them off my tablet, I can see them but they won't download onto my computer. So I will be back to share more soon.

Hi Everyone, sorry it has been so long, it has been a busy year. Since August, I have been published 3 times, in 3 different magazines, Some of the photos are the best, but I just don't have the time to go back and redo them.

This was the first one, I took it on my cruise with me and when I turned the front cover I discovered I was also there too, was a nice surprise.

Sorry the photo was up the correct way and now it is not, Ahhh!

Hello to you all, I have been away on a cruise and it was fantastic. The day before I left I got my copy of Scrapbooking Memories Vol 16 No:1. I was looking forward to this copy because I have been published, it is my first scrapbooking page to be published, I have had a number of my cards published so it has been a goal to have a page published, I had a day where I submitted pages to different magazines and I got a reply back from 3 of them, so I will have some more pages published in coming months.

So here is my page, it is of my sister and her son, having hugs while camping.

While I was on holiday I took the magazine to read, as I flipped through it I noticed my page was also in the content page, I was thrilled.

Hi again, I have been playing with MDS again, this one took a bit longer as I added a lot of DSP and embellishments.

I stated by making the background, then added stitching and embellishments ect.

Hello, I have been having a very quick play with the new MDS from Stampin Up, I have to say I love it and for $24.95 Aust. It is well worth the money. Here are a few quick pages I did.

The one above is a template, I added a photo and the black splats. Just to get a feel of things.

This too is a template, I added photo, words Mother & Daughter, the scallop under the photo (I think), I had a go at changing the colours of the white flowers, they were all white and I changed a few to pink. easy peasy!

And this one I did all by myself, I just picked my photo first and worked around it, kept going through all the folders seeing what each contained so I could see what goodies I could use. I changed the colour of the right paper it was crumb cake and I changed it to a pink, clever Ha!

Hello, it has been a busy start to the year. I have been having a play with some of the new papers, stamps and embellishments from Stampin' Up! new seasonal catalogue, there are heaps of great products in there.

This is a great sketch I found, not sure where I found this one, I started these pages in December and have just finished it off.

I have used stamps with this one and clear embossed some areas.

Looks what new, Seasonal Catalogue Stampin Up

Hello to you all, it has been a while since I have posted, I am just so excited about this new Seasonal Catalogue I just had to share some samples with you.

I just love this new stamp, called Swallow Tail, it is a large stamp.

I sponged the background with ink onto gloss card, then spritzed with water, great technique, you get a different background every time.

I just love this Honeycomb embossing folder, the Doilies is a pack of 24 for just $4.95 and the pink large heart comes from the DSP pack of papers, you can use it as a 12 x 12 or cut up the hearts as I have. The next heart is from a stamp set called Hearts a Flutter, and has a matching framelits, and I just the the flower trim, you can leave it as is in a row or trim each flower.

This is a great set called Secret Garden and has matching framelits.

This is a new product called Creped Filter paper & you can make this beautiful flower.

Stampin Up Heartfelt event

Hi Everyone, it has been a long time since I have blogged as I have been a little busy with work. I attended the Brisbane Heartfelt event with Stampin Up! It was a great day. I was asked to be part of the Product Playground, and I got to show the ladies how to use all the different Wheels. Below are some sample boards of different ways to use wheels, there were 3 us taking turns throughout the day.

Make background using the Simply Score Tool, Stampin Up!

SIMPLY SCORE TOOL

There are many designs you can create with your Simply Score Tool. Here are a few I have come up with.

Cut your cardstock to size, mine is 10 x 14 ½ cm

Stripes: Thick & Thin

Start with one point of the cardstock at 23cm mark and score at every ½ cm. if you find it hard to score the left side, turn the cardstock around and score again. This will give you thin lines, for a thicker line do the same but score at 1cm.

Scored every half cm

scored every 1cm

Small Diamonds

Start as above then when finished turn cardstock to another point and score again, not you have your diamond shape.

Large diamond

Cardstock 10 x 14cm, mark the middle of each side, eg 5cm & 7cm

Place one point at the 24cm top & bottom. Score at 28, 29, 30 & 31cm

Keep turning cardstock and score as above on all for sides.

This is a card I made using the Diamond

Stripes on Landscape cardstock

Line your cardstock up at the 15cm mark and score at this pattern:

½ , ½, 1, ½ , ½ ,1 ect

15 ½ , 16, 17, 17 ½ , 18 ½ , 19 and so on. Also try the cardstock portrait style.

The card below is a CASE from Dawn, http://www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net/2012/05/wondeful-you-grid-card-video-.html check out her video on how to make this card, her measurements are in inches, ever 1" but you can do every 2.5cm.

This is the same cardstock one is Embossed and one is Debossed, ink direct to paper to get this effect, see Dawn's video

Cards using the new framelits

These cards are made using the new Framelits from Stampin' Up!

This is a card made using the largest Framelit. Fold card in half and place framelit along crease, leaving the top hanging over the cardstock to form crease. I also made the fan rosette using the new Simply Score tool.

This card uses the Edgelits, cutting the edge and then embossing the pattern

Using the items above I made two cards from them.

This one the brown is underneath is the card base and the pink is the frame placed over the top

some of these cards have been CASED, sorry I don't have your names, please let me know and I will give you credit here.

This one is using a white gel pen to colour flowers, very effective.

This is the set of framelits, note you need TAB 2 down /acrylic mat/ cardstock/ framelits cutting side down/acrylic mat, then roll through.

If you stamp two images of different sizes you can cut two at once as above.

Want to make a frame, see above and below. you can use all 3 pieces to make a cards.

Framelits. Some Tips.

Hi again, I just wanted to show you how to use the Framelits.

This is all the framelits, you need to use TAB 2, with acrylic plates

Stamp your images, I have used two here.

Place your framelits over images and line them up, flat side faces up, raised side is the cutting edge, facing dow on your cardstock.

Here are the images cut out, you can keep your scraps and make frames for the fronts of your cards.

Here is how to make a frame, choose two framelits that are a size apart. I have numbered my framlits so I can write down which ones I used to make different size frames.

Here you have the frame and the inside you can use also.

This is a great quick and easy page to do. I punched squares and used the free SAB stamp sets to decorate each square. I used black embossing powder, non SU punches

Hi, here are a few cards made by our team, we did some swaps using the Summer mini products.

The first few I made, this one was for the swap. Using the new embossing folder and coloured with chalks.

These cards are made using the Square Scallop Die and the Dies used with the Movers and Shapers, you don't need to buy the movers and shapers to use these. The Scallop Die has a see through plate and you can place your smaller die inside to make a window. See below.
