We have quite a lineup here this New Moon with 5 planets in watery Pisces:

Neptune, ruler of Pisces, is at 00 degrees of Pisces 41 minutes,
Sun and Moon (New Moon position) are at 02 degrees of Pisces 42 minutes. The Sun entered Pisces on Saturday @ 10:18 p.m. PST - notice yourself being more emotional/intuitional than usual since then?
Chiron is at 5 degrees of Pisces 00 minutes, hence these 4 planets are closely conjunct one another creating a revitalizing and new Spiritual beginning/connection from within.
Then Mercury is at 14 degrees of Pisces 29 minutes, with Mars Rx in direct opposition sitting in Virgo testing our communication connection with our Divine selves - take your TIME to process ALL the information you are receiving from your intuition and Higher Self and guides and Angels before asserting your next moves - no pushing the envelope just to GET IT DONE!
North Node at 10 degrees of Sagittarius 29 minutes is squaring off to the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Chiron creating a LOT of tension to move forward on our Destined paths (believe it!) yet patience is still required here while we DISCERN what our next Spiritual moves are all about.
Jupiter at 05 degrees Taurus 38 minutes is sextile Chiron, Moon, Sun and Neptune, creating the opportunity for GAIN via more inner work!

Remember, wherever Chiron hangs out in our charts means we will be hypersensitive to the energies around us. A key theme this month: BOUNDARIES - knowing when to say NO and when to hang out by yourself. Create a buffer zone around you, engineered via your Higher Self, guides and Angels AND you as co-creator, ensuring you design exactly HOW energies (and which type!) of others you intend to let in to your personal energetic circle! Think about this carefully and allow your intuition to guide you well. What do you desire to emotionally feel for now on? Chaos, or Love, Joy and Compassion?

This New Moon in Pisces will occur at 2:35 p.m. PST on Tuesday, February 21st at the coordinates stated above in the second point. All of the Piscean players in the early degrees are activating my DSC (Descendant) AND my natal Sun in Pisces in the 7th House of one-on-one relationships, be they personal, professional, partnerships - activating my Divine connections with others. Pisces' themes, as a mutable water sign, show the following:

Emotional, intuitional, divine connections, dreams and inner knowingness that cannot be ignored and in your face this month everyone. We will be extra sensitive now - be prepared.
Magic, movies and illusion - the magic and mystery of the Universe is upon us (ask me how many Ravens have been calling me these past several mornings? Raven = magic is in the air). Yet how are we allowing the illusions of our reality to distort the inner truth of where we are in our individual growth process right now? What has been eluding you until now? Any personal mysteries that desire clarification?
Shadow issues of your escapism, addictions and not wanting to DEAL with REALITY. If you feel the pressure is on making you realize what works and what doesn't in this area - be prepared to deal with the underlying emotional roots of WHY your Ego runs to hide within these areas. "O woe is me" or victim thinking, wanting to be the martyr - all of these themes can be showing themselves to be healed this month. Even my favourite: PROCRASTINATION. My Ego LOVES this theme - much to my chagrin...
Physical health issues: Pisces rules the feet, lymphatic system, colds, toxins and poisons. Drink LOTS of water, take sea salt baths/foot baths, and stay clear of caffeine, chocolate, sugar and white flour products and alcohol. I walked by the local liquor store on my way home this afternoon - lots of trade going through there so early in the day.
Compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, acceptance and being as nonjudgemental as possible is the order of each and every day. Especially of SELF! How often are we so hard on ourselves (Virgo, Pisces' opposite sign) that we forget to forgive? Great time to write a Forgiveness List: "I forgive myself (or name of person) for...." and line by line, repeat the "I forgive myself/name of person for..." until you run out of issues to forgive. You'll feel much better after writing this list - not only emotionally, physically so. Keeping your energetic backpack full of unforgiveness can heap a lot of energetic baggage on your neck, shoulders and upper back! Burn the list, then write another one right away of all the reasons why "I love myself for..." line after line to fill the void left by releasing all the forgiving and to remind yourself how much you matter in this world!
Take time (or more than once a day) to meditate, do yoga practice, time for self this month. Commune with your inner self as much as possible. She/He has much to tell you about your next steps, the inner desires requiring attention and the next Divinely Timed right action to take.
Dreams, imagination and finding your Bliss, Joy and Happiness are key this month! Find your emotional/psychic centre and BE within yourself as much as possible! Otherwise, chaos will reign.

LOVE yourself and others; FORGIVE yourself, and others; have COMPASSION for self and others - top three items to keep in your sacred heart/mind this month! We are winding down the Solar Year here - the Vernal Equinox is just around the corner. Ensure you spend as much time as you can within to clear the cobwebs of this past winter's inner musings and allow the emotions to run their course as much as possible.

Clear the inner toxins out of yourself: emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually! Our thoughts can be toxic as well - remember Mercury is in on all of this too. Inner talk as well as outer talk. Journal those feelings out, write poetry, stories, songs from your sacred heart and know that the fire of Aries awaits us. Clear the emotional decks of your inner self as much as possible - allow those watershed moments to wash through and out. Don't hang onto anything. No time to waste!

Mars Rx Journey in Virgo continues...

Mars has been travelling through the mutable earth sign of Virgo since November 12, 2011. Here it is February 17th, 2012 and Mars is STILL in Virgo! Usually Mars whips through each sign in about two months, however Mars has slowed his progress by going Retrograde (Rx) since January 24th. He will re-Direct himself forward as of April 14th and finally go out of Virgo and into Libra on July 4th!

Wow, 8.5 months of Mars moving through Virgo - what does this mean for everyone? Here is a list of Virgo themes to keep in mind:

Being of Service, your Sacred Work, or daily work - any changes needed here?
Physical health of the body - how well are you looking after this part of yourself?
Processing and assimilating facts, being organized, practical use of mental abilities - what have you been putting off in this area that requires your renewed energy to complete it?
Mercury rules this sign - so the communicative style is very practical being critical, analytical, discriminating, modest and orderly.

Adding in the themes of Mars, who rules Aries, we have the fiery inspiration to assert ourselves in any or all of the themes of Virgo listed above. Maybe to do so in a direction less travelled than before? Check your charts to see where the 30 degrees of Virgo lies in your chart. I have Virgo @ 00 degrees as my Ascendant or Rising Sign, with Pluto right there, and Virgo continues through the rest of my 1st House of my self-identity and ends in the 2nd House of I HAVE, how I make my income and what I value in life.

Realize that Mars has been journeying through the House(s) of Life Experience where Virgo lies in your chart since November 12th and as of January 24th has been working itself back up from 23 degrees of Virgo 05 minutes and is now, as of today, at 19 degrees of Virgo 15 minutes. When Mars turns Direct again in April, he will be back at 3 degrees of Virgo 41 minutes and will then retrace his steps down through Virgo yet again. See the energetic wave action here?

When a planet goes Rx it means the usual outward moving energy is taken inward first, personalizing those themes to create AHA! moments, or to get our attention about something that isn't working as well as it could be in our life. The inward-moving energy creates a time lag of sorts, giving us Time to change our minds about how we are working with (or against!) Mars' need to assert timely action for ourselves.

Right now we are experiencing the inward-moving energy of Mars, helping us to discern new next steps to take more directly when Mars stations Direct in April. Really KNOW that Mars in Virgo is working to get us back on track in the area(s) of Life we may have taken for granted or just didn't make a priority about it. Mars in Virgo means we need to take the Time and energy to discern what we truly want to assert and TAKE ACTION on in our lives, according to Virgo's themes. The House of Life Experience tells you WHERE in your life that action needs to be asserted from.

For me, via my self-identity, embracing my true Sacred Work even more (astrology, teaching, facilitating the New Moon Gatherings, writing articles) AND stepping up how I look after my physical body. This part of my identity has been sorely lacking these past 10 years! I got into some sloppy and lazy habits due to other circumstances that happen in life, and now it is TIME for a course redirection!

Colours of Nature 2012

The last time Mars made a significant journey through Virgo, activating my Ascendant, Pluto and 1st House into action and assertion, was back in 1993/1994! I was in my best physical shape and health back then and loving my body more then than now! Time for a sea-change to be sure, especially now that I am co-creating the ASTRO-Spiritual Tours with Elia, travelling the world 2-3 times a year, sitting on airplanes for hours and hours on end! I need to be physically fitter to do all of this!

Look within (and in your charts) to see how well you are communicating your practical desires within the Virgoan themes with Mars assistance! Take timely action, and remember the Shadow side of Virgo is wanting everything to be PERFECT! We are ALL perfect just as we are RIGHT NOW! Give yourself a break in this regard - I believe in giving myself a break from the pressure of 'being perfect' more often now! :)))

Full Moon in Leo, February 7, 2012

Nanaimo Full Moon

We've been experiencing a few changes in the Cosmic Weather of late:

Candlemas or Imbolc on February 2nd - The ancients celebrated the Return of the Light at this time of year - the days are indeed getting longer and brighter, the Sun is warming our faces more and more each day. Light a candle or a fire and give thanks for the illumination that is entering your life more and more each day. Of course most of the younger generation will know this day as Groundhog Day.
Neptune returned to Pisces, the mutable water sign it rules, on February 3rd @ 11:04 a.m. PST. It has been 164 years since Neptune was last in Pisces, and will stay there for the next 13 years! Expect to 'see' clarity in the fog of your Spiritual reality during this time. Interesting note: we had thick fog the first two days Neptune crept back into Pisces - and fog again tonight - I hear the fog horn blowing as I write this. The weather can certainly mirror the planetary changes in our lives!

Tuesday's Full Moon will occur @ 1:54 p.m. PST at 18 degrees of Leo 32 minutes - check to see how this Moon's energies are activating your birth charts. I have the whole sign of Leo intercepted, or imbedded, within my 12th House of the hidden, spiritual self. Leo asks us to SHINE our love and heartfelt feelings out into the world. Remember to set your crystals out in the moonlight tomorrow to receive heartfelt energy from Grandmother Moon's rays.

The planet Mercury is side by side the Sun in Aquarius, directly opposite the Full Moon (therefore at the same coordinates as the Moon). This activates my natal Chiron in Aquarius in my 6th House of daily work and physical health. Wherever we have Chiron in the chart, it shows our hypersensitivity to the pain and suffering of others. It has come to my attention today how this constant weight gain of mine these past 10 years (since I began reading birth charts for clients actually) is acting as a buffer between myself and others' pain. Since my Sun sign is in Pisces (sensitive to others' emotions and soaking it in at times) I 'see' now how I manage to 'feel' from others in two ways - compounding the issue! I will look at future-oriented ways (Aquarius) to program a buffer between myself and others to keep my body healthy for now on. I want to still be here to watch the rest of this Ascension show! :)))

Remember: Aquarius in the chart shows where we go out into the future to bring back original and maverick ideas, innovations, and creations, to be used now for the community around us. Mercury rules our thought processes and communication. Expect unexpected information to float on down into your consciousness via chats, dreams, meditation sessions, the information highway! What you do with it is up to you - who do you want to be in your future? And who are the people you wish to bring along with you? The Sun is also activating us vitally in tandem with Mercury, so shine your eccentric self out there people! Talk your walk!

Children - whether you have your own, or not, enjoy their laughter and creative imaginations at this time. Relax, chill out and use your own imagination for a change! When was the last time you drew a picture with crayons, or built a castle from LEGO? How old are you again? I always blow bubbles whenever the mood moves me to - what do you do?

New Moon in Aquarius Waters

Hi All,

Did you feel the effects of the two solar flares within 2 days just prior to the New Moon in Aquarius energies of Sunday/Monday? WOW! Talk about being on a roller-coaster ride! If you've been feeling unbalanced at all since the Winter Solstice timing, you've had good reason to. Hopefully those flares blasted out what what hidden deep within, creating loving space for new and more optimistic interactions within and without!

Here's the planetary lineup of changes coming our way in the near future:

Mars turned Rx (retrograde) in the mutable earth sign of Virgo yesterday as of 4:54 p.m. PST. Mars will be going back up into Virgo from 23 degrees Virgo 25 minutes all the way to 3 degrees and 41 minutes when it stations Direct again April 14th! Virgo rules our desire to be of service and the physical health of our bodies. This inward energy time lag gives us TIME to discern the action we wish to assert re: our bodies and Sacred Service. Use this time wisely! Healthier routines in work and exercise are key here!
Mercury changes signs, going into the fixed air sign of Aquarius January 27th @ 10:12 a.m. PST - where is 0 degrees Aquarius in your chart? Mercury, our planet of communication, thought, and learning will activate my natal Venus as of that date, and all the rest of the planets I have in my 6th House of daily work/service and looking after my physical body! I will have a change of mindset about a few things by then!
Neptune finally returns to the sign it rules, Pisces, for the next 13 years as of February 3rd @ 10:52 a.m. PST! It has been 164 years since Neptune was last in Pisces and I expect a LOT of us embracing our Divine/Spiritual selves this time around! Our Faith, Trust and Surrender to and in the Divine realms will ensue, clearing the fog of illusions into the Reality of Now! Look for these coordinates in your birth chart to see how Saturn is again giving us one last shot at balancing and equalizing our lives - what House is it in for your Life Experience? Saturn has been hovering around and activating the planets in my 3rd House of communication, learning and short-distance travel.
Venus moves into the cardinal fire sign of Aries February 7th @ 10:01 p.m. PST - look for 0 degrees of Aries in your charts. Watch out for impatience with self and others, where we'll desire action NOW rather than later - think before you leap (via your intuition and heart-sense)! Venus will meet up with Uranus February 9th, adding to this sense of urgency - and desiring FREEDOM from whatever has been suppressing your true independent expression before now. You'll be able to breakthrough walls, resistance, hold ups in moving forward in relationships - evolving a new revolution of sorts!

New Moon Sunlight!

The Earth has undergone a major shift days prior to the Winter Solstice, energetically. Get those movie images out of your minds that are being touted out there! Yes, the weather patterns are more dramatic, and NO, cataclysms aren't the order the day in 2012! What we fear we bring toward us! Ask your angels and guides to take up out of your hearts, minds and spirit ALL thoughts, worries and frets that amount to fear, anxiety, guilt, remorse - feel your way BACK into your heart, and LOVE your present and future self RIGHT NOW! Keep it up - stay positive and optimistic and LOVE YOURSELVES!

The Mayan Calendar for 2012 shows us living 12 weeks worth of Life Experience in ONE WEEK! Yes, a quarter of a year in one week! No wonder we are flying through tonnes of emotion, fear-based thought, losing friends, family and jobs right left and centre! What no longer supports you must die/leave - it is time to stand in LOVE and COMPASSION and forgive self and others along the way!

Winter Solstice Heart Tree!

The old earth grid is dying - and with it our Egos, hence why the self-sabotaging habits of the Ego can seem mighty intense these days - especially since the Winter Solstice. This New Moon in Aquarius heralds a time to write out your DESIRES for your Future Self/Life - dream the truth of what you heartfully desire and BELIEVE IN IT! Love it into fruition, along with allowing your guides and Angels to bring it forward to you! Receive the universal abundance and KNOW we ALL deserve the very BEST of everything - unattached to outcomes or how it 'will happen' - that would be Ego's need to control and get in the way!

Sunday, January 22nd, the New Moon (both the Sun and Moon in are in the same place in the sky) will be at 2 degrees of Aquarius 42 minutes as of 11:39 p.m. PST. East-coasters will enjoy the energies three hours later, on the 23rd.

The Chinese New Year of the Water Dragon also begins on January 23rd - beckoning in timely action, passionate creativity, moving forward deeply with heartfelt intention and intuition. Insights into memories and dreams long hidden, brought out into the Light of day. Also: healing deeply buried emotional wounds is more easily attained this year. Connection with everyone is via the emotions and intuition - keep your heart open, to yourself and others - and be honest with those connections! Feel your way through this year - which will also bring challenges in, and of, itself. Hiding or escaping isn't a solution - riding the waves of Love and forgiveness, of others and self, is key this year. Along with taking timely Action when Divinely intuited to do so (Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine powers at work in equanimity).

The Aquarian themes this New Moon are:

Individuation - being your truest You you can be! Every decision, feeling, intuition - are you following your inner Heart's desire (Soul-self guidance) every moment of every day? Are you being true to You?
Humanitarianism - the Age of Aquarius is all about being true to self AND remembering that we are also connected to community, that we do indeed need others to help us move forward on our paths. We, in turn, will be assisting others along theirs, as the path forward instructs us to. Be there for others, as others show up to be there for us!
Your Future Self - the 11th House in the horoscope chart is where Aquarius resides in the natural wheel of the Zodiac. This is our goal-setting House of Life Experience - putting forth what we intend for ourselves in the near future. This New Moon gives us all another opportunity to plant more new seeds in this regard. And, the sign Aquarius is where we intuit/dream/gather insight from The Future to be used in the Now for the greater good of all. Again, sharing future knowledge with the community around you.
Your Social Network - locating the group of friends and allies that align with who you want to be in the future - who support you in that venture/dream/wish. Are you connected to the right and proper support already or do you need to find a truer network that reflects your inner spiritual self? We need to ensure that we keep in touch with those emotions, and allow them to flow through, honour them and release what needs to be.
Physical Health - Aquarius rules the nervous system, circulation, ankles and calves, cramps and spasms, and varicose veins. Keep moving your limbs, avoid the toxic chemicals of caffeine and alcohol and sugar as much as possible. Love your body, show it respect and know, especially this year of 2012, that the health of our bodies is paramount now!

Cancer rules the stomach, breasts, pancreas, tumors: watch what you eat and when and how. Do you rush through your meals to get back to work already? Watch action shows on TV? How about silence, simple conversation, classical music to soothe the digestive juices into action while you actually pay attention to what you are eating? 2012: Endings and New Beginnings!

Out with the Old and In with the New! Happy New Year everyone!

Many interesting themes will be occurring this year:

The Year of the Water Dragon (Chinese Astrology) as of January 23rd - taking creative and intuitive action - so listen to your inner guidance system as to WHAT and WHEN to take action in your life.
The Year of Astrology - bringing more awareness to the masses of this ancient art/science tool of self-transformation. It is indeed much MORE than the Sun sign Astrology you read about in the magazines and newspapers!
Key endings: the 26,000 year cycle of the earth's rotation around its axis returning to where it began (called precession), plus the end of Duality Consciousness and the beginning of Unity Consciousness with the end of the Mayan Calendar as of October 28, 2011. This year may well bring with it economic crisis and changes in how, and why, we work to make money.
Uranus in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn 7 times, starting this year, for the next several years: squares create a tension that insists on direct action being taken; if this action isn't taken, all hell can break loose OR expect the unexpected! That pent up energy has to be released somehow, in some way - be it directed in a heartfelt conscious way or unconsciously allowing it to take action willy-nilly. The more the tension is allowed to build without action, the more tendency there is for a wild ride! Be forewarned! This first exact square will occur shortly after the Summer Solstice, June 24th, then again around the Autumnal Equinox, then three times in 2013, and twice in 2014.
Venus transits over the face of the Sun (conjunction) as of June 5-6th (visible to people living in Hawaii, northwestern North America, western Pacific, northern Asia, Japan, Korea, east China, Philippines, east Australia and New Zealand) with a Partial Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius occurring with the Full Moon the day before. This also begins Venus' new 584 day cycle, within the sign of Gemini, the Twins, in Rx (Retrograde motion) since May 16th until June 28th when it stations Direct. Venus conjunct the Sun activates the Divine Feminine Power/energy to SHINE out in the world this year, creating greater balance, harmony and peace within and then without. The Rx portion of her cycle brings a need to illuminate your inner Divine Feminine Power/energy (women AND men) and allow it to glow and grow before taking it out into the world late June.
Mars goes Rx from January 24th until April 14th when it stations Direct again - which happens every 26 months, this time in Virgo. Mars began its journey through Virgo November 12, 2011 and will exit as of July 4th. This long Rx period creates a longer journey of Mars through Virgo, accentuating how we connect with Nature, our bodies, our physical health and the Sacred Service we wish to do for now on. Take advantage of the Rx period to hone into what truly is YOUR Sacred Service for the highest good of all. This can be your daily job or volunteer service or other work that inspires passion and gets you out of bed every morning.
Total Solar Eclipse in Scorpio November 13th: shining the Light into the powerful emotional depths of our Soul/Ego self. The four levels of Scorpio are: the Scorpion, the Snake or Serpent, the Eagle and the Phoenix. Where are you in the evolution of letting go of Ego's fears and anxieties about moving forward on your Life Purpose? Self-sabotaging along the way, or rising forth from the ashes of what used to be, allowing your truer YOU to shine out in the world?

Nanaimo Sunrise Pink Light!

Remember: the only thing dying is our Consciousness of this past 26,000 year cycle! We are beginning to embrace, with the heralding of Venus' new cycle in Gemini, a reconnection to our Divine Feminine Power/energy within ALL persons, leading to a rebalancing with the Divine Masculine Power/energy (hence the Twins). None of us can successfully live full and loving lives WITHOUT a balance between these two inner powers. This is a huge part of the New Age of Aquarius that we are travelling into and the next 36-72 years will bring key changes to Mother Earth and each of us.

Are you ready? Breathe, take time to listen to your inner guidance (Divine Feminine), and then take timely action from that guidance (Divine Masculine) to make your way into this new World Consciousness we are slowly birthing along. Uranus can mean sudden unexpected changes, with Pluto pulling back that carpet, revealing what we've hidden underneath that needs to come out of the closet to be seen and healed and most likely to let go of. Our annual Winter Solstice/Yule is upon us - three days in a row when the Sun seems to 'stand still' on the horizon which is what Solstice means. So today, tomorrow and Thursday is when the standing still occurs. Please note that Solstice occurs when the Sun moves into 0 degrees of Capricorn, and for us on the West Coast this occurs at 9:30 p.m. PST on December 21st, 2011. In the East this will occur at 12:30 a.m. December 22nd.

With the Sun's vital energies moving from the fiery and creative and jovial sign of Sagittarius into the more serious, slow-moving earth sign of Capricorn, you'll be wondering where all your get-up and go got-up and went! The themes of Capricorn begin anew: integrity of building a solid foundation with the current resources already at hand. Building something tangible that is needed by the community at large that hasn't been created before.

Think of all the possibilities this can bring with all the unique imaginations out there, co-creating with their Higher Selves, bringing about new enterprise and new work for the greater good of all! As unique and countless as there are humans living right at this moment in time! What is it your Soul (the Sun) is beckoning you to co-create now? I look to my chart and see this earthy and potentially ground-breaking energy activating my 5th House of creativity, fun and play, children/inner child and romance. I have noticed an increase in my creative thought process already since the weekend, bringing forth tangible ideas and results already! If we listen to the intuitional ideas and allow the Universe to connect us with our next steps, anything is possible! BELIEVE IT!

Traditionally, the Winter Solstice is, at the same moment, the dying of the Old Year and the birthing of the New Year. Any habits, thought processes, or actions/lack thereof you wish to release? Let them go in order to make room for the birthing of this next New Year's round of endless possibilities and limitless creativity! We only limit these possibilities by our Ego's fears and anxieties and thoughts of desired outcomes! Think about this for a moment: how are you limiting your expansiveness via thought, word or deed?

New Moon in Capricorn, December 24, 2011

The last New Moon of 2011, when both the Moon and Sun are standing together at 2 degrees of Capricorn and 34 minutes, occurs at 10:06 a.m. PST on Christmas Eve. Look to your charts to see where this new Moon cycle is activating yet another tangible opportunity of new starts, initiatives and projects. This New Moon carries on the energies of of the Winter Solstice, grounding, creating a sold foundation, utilizing current resources to create something totally new that is needed by the community around you.

The added player in this New Moon is Pluto alongside the Moon and Sun at 7 degrees of Capricorn 4 minutes. He brings Transformation - big time! - into our lives. Pulling back that carpet to see what we've hidden underneath re: the Capricorn themes of:

The integrity of our material gains - did we sow seeds of solidity or liquidity?
How we set goals for ourselves to achieve the success and recognition of our worldly work via the career we have chosen for ourselves. Doing so monthly with the Moon cycle is certainly a good start!
How well do you deal with authority, and what are you an authority of?
Management skills - time management, people management, you name it - what skill set needs a transformational boost by Pluto this month?

Uranus in Aries is squaring off to this earthy Capricorn triplet of planets, bringing in sudden change, sometimes on a dime, creating either chaos or timely change - depends on how well we've been listening to that inner voice hinting at how to move ourselves forward into opportunity and new connections that put us where our next step is waiting for us to be.

The only opposition during this New Moon timing is between the North Node + Mercury in Sagittarius and the South Node in Gemini - those same themes from the last Solar/Lunar eclipse set of late November, early December: bringing in data and information from the past to help us figure out where our Souls want us to venture forth now. Oppositions are tricky - we can end up polarized if our Egos fear to tread forward. Stagnation can result and rushing back to live in the data room (Gemini South Node) because we just love love love reading about life, rather than shooting our arrows out into the big wide world to venture forth and showing that world what we're truly made of (Sagittarius North Node). The key aim is to be in the middle of this opposition, keeping centred, grounded and balanced, bringing in the data/information as it shows itself, and using it with timely and purposeful Soul action! Use your heartfelt discernment as to what and when and where.

Saturn and Neptune are in an easy, "Hi, how you doing?" kind of connection, both in air signs, bringing to us conversation and strategies on how to structure our lives within this newly forming equality framework (Saturn in Libra) of spiritual innovation and individuation (Neptune in Aquarius). Slow and steady, Saturn forces us to take a long look at what is truly real in our lives re: our spiritual connection to our Divine self. If there is any clarity to be had, Neptune will be asking us to look through the fog long enough to 'see' where we are truly heading. So if you're finding there is or has been a situation that is unclear to you, go back for a second and third look or conversation about it. Don't leave any stone unturned now. Confusion will prevail if you do.

Chiron, lying next to Neptune, in the early degrees of Pisces, will add heightened sensitivity to how well our energetic boundaries are working within our one-on-one relationships (Libra where Saturn is sitting). Saturn slows down this process as well, giving us time to really 'see' what is going on there, and may need to be mended or healed along the way, from deep within. Spiritual harmony and peace is a goal (Pisces + Libra).

Mars in Virgo is still squaring off with the Nodes, creating tension about where to apply our assertiveness - do I take aim into the future, or do I sit with what's coming up from the past? Aaaaahhh! You mean I have to make a choice? And maybe we have to do both, as beckoned from within. Organizing ourselves (Virgo) and taking action (Mars) as our Soul beckons will be the key here.

Lunar Eclipse in Gemini Footnotes...

There are those of us who are sensitive enough to already feel what Saturday's total Lunar Eclipse in Gemini will be illuminating. Feelings (Moon) are what we need to 'listen' to these next 6 months to 3.5 years (length of time the energies of an eclipse are available for uncovering awarenesses deep within). Use your curiosity (Gemini) to unearth what is hiding (eclipse) from the light (Full Moon). Allow your intuition (Moon) to follow those breadcrumbs of memory threads until you are able to unroot the cause of whatever it is your Soul wants you to know now and within the next 3.5 years.

Interesting really - in six months time I will be in Mt Shasta where there will be yet another eclipse in Gemini, the Twins, but this one will be a Solar Eclipse - Solar = Sun = vitality, action - taking vital action. Saturday's Lunar Eclipse - Lunar = Moon = receptive, intuition, feelings/emotions and hidden Ego Shadow issues that require the illumination of the Full Moon to make us aware of what is really going on under the surface. What we intuit and feel NOW allows us to TAKE ACTION with in 6 months; Divine Masculine Power/Energy Action actually.

How do you deal with emotions/feelings? Are you curious about them? Or do you ignore them as much a possible? Think they slow you down, only sissies dwell on those so-called feminine traits? Interesting, that. As we ALL currently undergo the return of the Divine Feminine Powers/Energy to Mother Earth and all people, we are being called to open up - heartfully - to our inner Divine Feminine - men as well as women!

This current Lunar Eclipse in Gemini causes our innate curiosity within to awaken, to be received. Divine Feminine Power is all about receptivity - BEING rather than DOING - and allowing yourself to receive the nudges, ideas, intuition and feel those emotions (which are also part of our intuition by the way!) via the HEART to garner signs and signals of what your next steps are to be (steps to be taken by your inner Divine Masculine Power/Energy via the MIND) purposely and in Divine timing.

Tis true that our inner 'listening' is mostly overshadowed by our Ego's almost constant chatter, trying valiantly to drown out those subtle nudges, voices, visions, dreams and feelings as much as possible. Or the chatter has been allowed to turn into power and control issues and action for several thousands of years - ever since the Divine Feminine energy/power was systematically disengaged and submerged from EVERYONE. And we have all suffered that loss through the generations since.

On Saturday we all have an opportunity to embrace some deeply hidden emotional stuff, bring it to the Light (Full Moon) and with our curiosity (Gemini) wonder about it, talk to it, talk about it, then allow it to be surrendered to the Higher Realms of Light and Love, healed and let go of, in order to open the heart to more and higher love than ever before.

This may sound like a tall order, however I bet most of you out there are more than surprised at what you thought you'd be undergoing since the New Moon in Sagittarius, and now, as we close in on the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse timing of December 10th, now realize what has been making its way up to your heart's consciousness! Am I right? I know I have been surprised at what I have undergone this week myself - issues of the heart that were deeply buried these long 9 years + many lifetimes worth as well! Drumming, toning and listening to my inner self via those emotions that kept surfacing, being curious as to what they had to do with what is currently unveiling in my life, and allowing each emotion, thought and intuition to reveal itself more fully until I finally got the AHA! Then allowing the watershed of release to unfold as it needs to - that surrender to let go of what was, not knowing, yet, what will be. A true test of FAITH (New Moon in Sagittarius November 26th) to be sure.

I decided to write this particular blog to ensure all of you who read this Astrological information/guidance realize that:

You aren't alone in this HUGE process of letting go, allowing it all to go, as well as allowing it all to come forward.
Both men and women are undergoing a HUGE process of unearthing our true hearts, true love of self and others - for the first time! Women, to regain their powerful abilities to intuit and feel their way forward, becoming empowered as they do so; Men, to relinquish power and control tendencies through making things happen in order to embrace your tender love feelings and intuition (if you haven't already started to before now).
ALSO - remember this: Men have their Inner Divine Feminine Power/Energy to embrace, allow and love; just as Women have their Inner Divine Masculine Power/Energy to embrace, allow and love! Talk about mirroring each other!
The planets DO NOT make us do anything! Rather, they give us the energetic opportunity to peek under our carpet of lies and suppression to seek greater understanding and to release outmoded habits and ways of being and relating that have gone on long enough!
It is ALL about Free Will, deciding to show up, listen, take action after listening, then get out of the way without any expected outcomes (this is truly key!).

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Gemini, Dec. 10, 2011

This week's Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse will occur @ 6:36 a.m. PST in the mutable air sign of Gemini (The Twins) at 18 degrees of Gemini 11 minutes on Saturday, December 10th. Look to your charts to see where the Moon (in Gemini) and the Sun (opposite the Moon at 18 degrees of Sagittarius 11 minutes) will be activating your charts. Remember the Moon reflects the unconscious desires of the Sun, and the Full Moon illuminates what we have truly been germinating/growing towards since the New Moon. ENlightenment - what blossoming is unfolding in your life?

The themes of Gemini are:

Communication: usually with the people in your daily life - neighbours, roommates/family (especially siblings), shopkeepers (whomever you do business with on a regular basis within your environment) as well as YOURSELF! Yes - your inner talk - how do you speak to yourself? Full of uplifting love and praise, or is it more judgement and criticism? Hhhmmm....are you listening? This skill is as important as the conversation itself.
Data/Information Gathering: all kinds, soaking it all in like a sponge from your environment, from the people you interact with - you will collect it via all your senses, storing it away for future recall, discerning what to keep and what not to keep.
The Twins: the Gemini glyph is depicted as a pair of twins - Castor and Pollux - two sides of one personality. There are days when it seems like the Angel is talking from one shoulder, while the wee devil is conspiring on the other! Who is going to rule your day today?
Transportation/Motion: short-distance travel, our automobiles and other modes of transport, plus the excitement and restless/nervous energy of travelling. Time to pack up the kids and take them out and about to see those Christmas lights displayed in the neighbourhood!

Mercury rules Gemini, and he is still Retrograde until December 14th - remember to 'expect the unexpected' while he allows us to utilize our right-brains for a change, allowing creativity to ensue while we listen to our inner guidance system (aka our intuition) re: what needs to said, and when.

According to Celeste Teal, "The definition of eclipse is to dim; to hide or conceal; to render invisible by an elimination of light." [ECLIPSES-Predicting World Events & Personal Transformation, 2009] The earth is sandwiched in between the Sun and Moon a this time, creating a portal of energies, accelerating change, clearing away the old, eliminating the dross, releasing the unexpressed emotions (Lunar) to transform our inner selves, making room for the new Self to come forth, buried beneath the surface prior to all of this cleansing. What has been dimmed or concealed in your life that, until now, awaits the Light of understanding? Have a good, long chat with yourself, allow what you have, until now, been reluctant to confess to yourself - really allow those emotions/thoughts to come forth, with truth and honesty.

This week's Total Lunar Eclipse energy is emotional (the Moon) yet taking action (Sun) and what we think about it all (Gemini). There will be a lot of conversation going on that day - check out the vocal volume at your local cafe that day! You'll understand what I mean. Take this opportunity to talk it out - with siblings, friends, neighbours, people you live with.

The other players contributing to this Total Lunar Eclipse in Gemini are:

The Moon's Nodes: these points in the sky, North Node, and South Node, are aligned with the Sun and Moon (respectively), asking us to take action (Sun in Sagittarius) in a direction our Soul wants us to go in (North Node) AND deal with the emotions/Ego Shadow issues (Moon in Gemini) that may be unresolved from our current lifetime or other lifetimes (South Node). As with all oppositions, the key is to find balance, stand in the middle of it all, able to withstand the emotional flood AND take timely and purposeful action as required, without moving off our centre.
T-Square to Mars in Virgo: here the Nodes/Sun and Moon are squaring off to Mars, the planet of assertion, where we learn to stand up for oneself. Virgo is all about service - to whom and for what? I think of it as performing our Sacred Service, with humility as we, in turn, become student/teacher while we learn a new skill, trade or process. That learning curve can become a competition of worthiness within the Ego-self - even wondering if we are loveable to others if we don't know all the answers or know how to do everything? Here is where perfectionism rears its ugly head - ugly only when that (being perfect in all things) is the ultimate goal in life. The square here creates tension for change, to change our minds (Gemini) in order to take purposeful action with heartfelt intention (Sagittarius) knowing and trusting what we choose is ultimately most perfect (Virgo) for us in the end.
Venus in Capricorn: the Goddess of Love and Harmony, Beauty and Balance sends harmonious help to Mars (both are in earth signs) ensuring we have the integrity to build something lasting, using our solid foundation - or is it as solid as we thought? That Divine Feminine Energy/Power is now being channelled through this cardinal earth sign - making a new start while utilizing the resources we already have with us. Transform something deep within that seems nasty and unsightly into something beautiful. Do you know what is missing here? Love - of self; forgiveness of others. Love, nonetheless transforms what we disown deep within. Believe it!

I look to my chart and see that this Lunar Eclipse is activating both my 4th House of my Private Life and my 10th House of my Public Life. The Sun in Sagittarius is activating my natal Saturn in my 5th House of creativity, fun and play, inner child/children and romance. What action do I want to take that has been missing in my life of late? And, what needs to be released to make room for the new to come in?

Be courageous and listen in on your Ego-self talking to you almost non-stop, and call a halt to all that negative self-talk; love your current perfection - we are all as perfect as we possibly can be at any given moment. Give yourself a break; and a hug! Love is the answer, as well as a good honest chat!

Sun Enters Sagittarius + Mercury Retrograde!

Hi Everyone! The rainy season is upon us here on Vancouver Island and we've had a bit of snow, with temperatures dipping below 0 C - way too cold than normal! The rain has washed away the snow now - I am still getting used to how the weather works here!

Speaking of which, our 'Cosmic Weather' is changing too - today the Sun entered Sagittarius as of 8:08 a.m. PST - look to see where 0 degrees of Sagittarius is in your birth charts.

The other piece of Weather news is the third round of Mercury Retrograde (Rx) this year begins as of November 23rd at 11:21 p.m. PST, also in Sagittarius, at 20 degrees and 7 minutes (going backwards all the way to 3 degrees Sagittarius 53 minutes). As of December 4th both the Sun and Mercury will be meeting at the same degree of Sagittarius (11 degrees). Then the post-Mercury Rx Shadow time will last until January 2nd, 2012.

What does all of this mean for us? We have successfully moved away from the deep, dark emotional and intuitional waters of Scorpio's investigation into our Ego's Shadowland, revealing those fears and anxieties that may be preventing us from moving forward on our Life Purpose currently. Now we have sufficient knowledge of what those emotional blockages may be, and with the Sun (Soul, active principle) entering the fiery and mutable sign of Sagittarius, we can begin to envision what our key next steps will be.

Sagittarius holds the Fire of spiritual creativity that we feel inspired to shoot out into the wide world, sharing ourselves 'out there'. After this latest dark dive into Scorpio's waters, it is time to take stock of where we've been, how have we journeyed thus far to our current position, what action now needs our attention? Then take a good long look ahead of you, into the distance along the horizon, and see if you 'see' where your next destination is hailing from. Once you 'see' it, shoot out that arrow of INTENTION!

The Sagittarius fire energy is bright, sunny, jovial and full of Faith, Hope and Believing in yourself! Mercury, our planet of our daily communication, ruling the technology of communication, learning, thinking, and reasoning, has been travelling through Sagittarius already since November 3rd, helping us, while the Sun was in Scorpio, to 'see' with our minds' eye, how our beliefs in Self measure up with what is actually occurring in our lives. See any discrepancies? What adjustments do you need to make now?

Mercury goes Rx three times a year, giving our usual left-brained, rational way of thinking and operating in the world a break! From now until December 14th (when Mercury begins to go Direct once again) we are all given the chance to negotiate our way forward by using our creative, intuitional Right-Brain! It will be a truly flowing time if we stick to the following guidelines I have learned to utilize:

Allow and listen to your Intuition as much as possible! Rational thinking WILL NOT WORK as per usual during this phase of Mercury Rx! Try it out and see for yourself! For those of you who like to think and respond in straight lines - o well, wait until after December 14th!
If you've been feeling the urge to organize, reassess, and clean out your desk, cupboards, and closets - do it! This is a great time to catch up on those piles of paper, and using your intuition, decide what needs to be addressed, when and how!
I look forward to these Mercury Rx times of year for two reasons: information I didn't know I needed to know filters into my consciousness (from within as well as without) AND people from my past show up, again with information or connection that is timely. Keep an open mind and heart in this process.
Expect the Unexpected! In conversations, information, technology (as in phones, fax machines, computers, printers etc), even your Inner Talk! Mercury isn't working in an outward, direct line now (and hasn't really been since November 6th, when the Shadow portion of Mercury Rx began).
Double-check and even triple-check any contractual items that come your way during this timing. Use your intuition to call the shots as to whether or not to go ahead with a project at this time. New projects begun now could have the potential of going sideways; what I call the 'gift that keeps on giving' for weeks and months into the future, bringing up weird and wonderful adjuncts that wouldn't normally occur when Mercury is Direct.
Think of Mercury Rx as a 'do-over' timing for any or all conversations you've had prior to November 23rd. Let's say you and a friend had a bit of a disagreement and words were spoken that you later regretted; or, you didn't have the courage to really speak your mind about something. Now is the time to lay it all out on the table, again discerning with your intuition if and when and how to do so. Have courage to believe in yourself and shoot that arrow out with Intention for the Good of All! You'll be surprised at how well things can resolve themselves!

Know, via your intuition, gut feelings, or inner knowing, that how you maneuver this Mercury Rx timing is reflective of how well you are Listening to your Inner Self and Inner Talk - is it lovingly intended, or full of criticism and judgement? Our conscious intentions are even more important now than ever before! AND - do your Actions reflect your true beliefs and intentions? Are you backing yourself up or self-sabotaging along the way? Only YOU can discern this for yourself!

When the Sun and Mercury meet up with one another December 4th, listen to what your intuition is saying about forward Soulful (Sun) Action to be taken that day. We will be within the upcoming New Moon/Solar Eclipse energies cycle of new starts/beginnings (again, in Sagittarius!). I will blog about this Moon cycle next!

Enjoy playing with your intuition consciously, take time to clean up your personal and work spaces / environment, and allow those CREATIVE juices to flow! This will be a test of your resourcefulness, conscious positive intentions, having true Faith and Believing in Self!

New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Thursday, November 24th, 2011 at 10:10 p.m. PST we will experience another New Moon AND a Solar Eclipse at 2 degrees of Sagittarius 37 minutes. Check your birth charts to see where this fiery energy of new starts, initiating new projects and making new plans will be activating themes for you this month. When I look to my own chart, I see these coordinates within my 4th House of nurturance, my home, generational roots, mothering and any emotional threads into the distant past that need to be healed.

Remember, both the SUN and MOON are in the same place on this day, AND Mercury is still Rx (Retrograde or going backwards from 20 degrees Sagittarius 7 minutes as of late Wednesday evening) - all in Sagittarius. A lot of 'seeking your own truth' and deciding where on the horizon your next arrow shot (Sagittarius' glyph is the Archer) needs to be launched, creating positive, jovial and faithful action via this New Moon's Solar Eclipse.

Eclipse energy is either about the emotions, what we feel and intuit (Lunar) or what action do we intend on taking (Solar), consciously, WITH THE HEART? Keep in mind everyone, when I talk about making 'conscious' decisions and intentions, I am not talking about using the brain - we are now learning to operate from within our Heart chakra, the Heart Sanctuary, the seat of our Divine connection within ourselves and our Soul-self! The Sun rules Leo and the heart function in the physical body. When we are coming from the heart in all of our decisions and intentions, we are literally coming from Spirit / the Divine! Otherwise, becoming stuck in the left-brain calls into play our Ego's agendas, hidden or not, that can steer us totally away from where our Soul actually intended we be. Believe it! It is so easy to get caught up in the monkey mind of the Ego. This is why it is so important to take time out to meditate, listen to visualization tapes - anything to get off that broken record.

Some of the themes of Sagittarius (ruled by the planet Jupiter) are the following [from: Steven Forrest's "The Inner Sky", 1988]:

Seeking understanding - who am I? Why am I here? What am I here to do this lifetime? How do I go about seeking all of this understanding?
The Ancients thought of Sagittarius as being one of three destinies or archetypes: the Gypsy, the Student and the Philosopher. Their actions expand awareness through gathering unfamiliar experience - exactly what happens when we travel to foreign countries (the actual travel portion can be a whole experience unto itself!), take a new line of study past grade school (no matter how old we become), or spend time with like-minded others who are intuitively exploring "why are we here, truly?" Expansion is key - Jupiter's the largest planet in our solar system, and ruler of Sagittarius. How far can I push the envelope past what I now know to be Truth in my life? And do I have the courage to do so?
The "I SPEAK" portion of this program comes from speaking your truth as you believe in it, with others, whether they are like-minded or not. Debates, conversations, spontaneous connections at the bus stop or coffee shop lineup even - whatever inspires you to move forward, past where you are now, to look beyond, into that distant horizon, and intuit where does my Soul want to 'grow' now? Who or what within you holds you back?

Remember that Mercury is going Rx now, so a lot of this ruminating may very well be within you, thinking about it, mulling it over and over, and then maybe sharing it with others. The usual outgoing energy of Mercury spends some time inside us now, giving us time to really know our Truth and what we Faithfully Believe to be true, before speaking up and out about it. On December 4th both the Sun and Mercury will be at 11 degrees of Sagittarius - take time that day to intuit some ACTION (Sun) regarding your mindset (Mercury). Heart-fully be conscious this day, carry a journal around with you, and write down the ideas and inspirations that will be coming up from deep within. Your Truths will seek you out if you listen close enough!

Pluto, Mars and Jupiter are still creating that Grand Trine, all in the Earth signs. This denotes a time of being grounded, building a solid foundation step-by-step, yet slow to change while taking time to proceed. No quick turns on a dime happening here! Trines can show harmonious and flowing energy between the three planets, however there can be tendency of NOT being challenged enough nor accomplish much unless you do so with Heartfelt Consciousness! Listen to that intuition of yours, to find direction, then perform the Action accordingly:

Pluto is still in Capricorn (and will be until 2024) and he continues to peel back the edge of the carpet to see what we've swept underneath it, hoping no one else will notice! Hello! what were you thinking? If your plans and foundations aren't full of integrity re: how you are amassing your material gain for the Good of All, then it could all come crashing down like a house of cards! Be very mindful of this! Capricorn's earth energy is about utilizing current resources to create something totally new, unheard of until now, that is required by community.
Mars is in Virgo (at 6 degrees also) helping us to assert ourselves when it comes to our Sacred Service. What service do you wish to perform for the Greater Good? Have you been listening to others, not allowing yourself to take a chance, or stand up for what you truly believe in? Now's the time to decide - time's a-wasting! Virgo's earth energy likes to go with the flow as much as possible - so there can be a tendency of being swayed by others at times!
Jupiter is also Rx, in Taurus (at 1 degree) finishing off this earthy grande triangle configuration. It is also creating a disconnect with this New Moon/Solar Eclipse - interesting, since Jupiter rules Sagittarius, where this New Moon is occurring. Jupiter's unsure as to what it believes in, maybe too optimistic, overdoing or in denial of reality? Could be all that sensuousness of the moment has you distracted, not paying attention to the opportunities that are presenting themselves? Or maybe you are in tune and can discern: "you know what? Not ALL opportunities that do present themselves ARE for me ALL the time! Maybe I need to pass on this one, yet keep it in mind for a later time?" Taurus earth energy can be fixated on one thing at a time only - so watch out you aren't missing out. And, also realize that taking your own sweet time can mean you don't miss the details, yet your timing may be off because you took too long to decide? Being disconnected to the Solar Eclipse energy tied with the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius may be a good thing - allowing us all to think about future actions, while chewing our cud on the notion for a while. Let your intuition and discerning Heart be your guides!

The other players in Sagittarius are the North Node (14 degrees and 15 minutes) and Venus (28 degrees and 26 minutes). Venus will activate my natal Saturn in my 5th House of Creativity, Fun and Play, Romance and Children/Inner Child. Saturn likes to take time (rules Capricorn) to structure this new creative foundation of mine. Discipline and responsibility come into play here as well. I have a few stories to write with deadlines for the online magazine, SIBYL (see the link at the top of my website) as one of 16 Anchor Writers for 2012!

I look forward to the challenge of writing only 450 words per topic while including an Astrological bent! I also anticipate some creative juices coming forth, having fun with it and connecting with my Inner Child, ensuring we have play time along with the work! Seeking my Truth, looking at what I believe to be true re: how I attract my Muse (Venus) to create something of beauty, harmony and love will be looked at here too. What new hill of creativity will be beckoning me onward in the distant horizons? Time (Saturn) will certainly tell the tale!

Even though Jupiter Rx may not be 100% on board with this New Moon/Solar Eclipse energy outwardly, it certainly will be inwardly. As Above, So Below, As Within, So Without. This Hermetic saying speaks loudly about listening to the Divine Guidance, discerning our true beliefs about this guidance, then taking action outside of Self to bring it to us. Remember: no desired outcomes allowed here please! We don't want to cut off the vastly superior imaginations and creativity of our Guides, Angels, Arch Angels and Ascended Masters now do we?! Don't allow that monkey mind to try to figure out HOW IT WILL ALL HAPPEN! "Who's going to say what to whom in order to make it all come forward?"- NOT! Put out the Heartfelt intention, then move along - nothing else to see here people!

Keep Joy, Faith and Love in your Hearts, your Mind in your Heart, and ALLOW it all to manifest with positive thoughts, attitudes and feelings - always. It will be the negative monkey mind/feelings that will stop all flow from coming forth from the Universal Imagination Machine! Get out of your own way; discern with your intuition and feelings; then move along. Take the ball out with the kids, make a snowman/woman, sled down a hill a few times or go skating on a pond to get your mind into play mode! Senses can be overpowered and yet they can also be directed in a solid direction, helping us to gain all the best we can out of any situation!

Full Moon in Taurus November 10, 2011

Another Moon cycle is halfway completed. This Full Moon is at 18 degrees of Taurus 5 minutes occurring at 12:16 p.m. PST, illuminating the worthiness of what we value of the Ego's Shadows issues we have been experiencing since the New Moon in Scorpio. October 26th!

Taurus is a sensual earth sign, taking it's time, and is on time when it wants to be! Practical, hands-on and down-to-earth, yet don't hurry me up anytime soon! It takes as long as it takes don't you know? Issues of security (money and possessions) and what you value in life, and your worthiness all affect the self-worth and esteem we have for ourselves. If we don't value the work we do that brings in the money, this will have a downward spiralling affect on our self-worth/confidence. And the opposite is true as well - valuing the work we do without regard for the money we make can uplift us even more! Aligning our values with those to whom we work for or with will impact us as well.

This Full Moon illuminates what we value in life which is perfect timing for the 11:11:11's intentions of our imagining what the New Garden of Eden will look like here on Earth - all of which we are in the process of rebirthing (the Scorpio New Moon is all about Life/Death, Birth/Rebirth - transforming the old to allow the new to spring forward).

Think about your values in life, how worthy you are to ask for what you want and need that makes you feel secure, and imagine it all manifesting in your life, for the Highest Good of your Soul. Taurus rules the 2nd House of Life Experience and it also gives us a chance to see all of who we are, personally, that we bring to the table everytime we take on a new job or service to others. What do you value about your skills, talents and experiences that collectively make you the unique choice in the world today? Are you embracing this person, wholly, of who you truly are?

What is this Full Moon reflecting and Illuminating for you from the depths (Scorpio) of your Soul? Any unconscious Ego (Moon) issues that need to be seen and addressed and healed? Now's your chance! Take stock then make your list or envision a better future for yourself, your loved ones, within the New Garden of Eden, or Heaven on Earth that we are birthing right now.

The Gift is that anything goes, as long as it is in alignment with your Highest Good. Meaning it doesn't harm you or anyone else, is in alignment with your value system and like attracts like! Coming from love, compassion and forgiveness, of Self and others, will gain all of us a better measure of worth.

The other players during this Full Moon / 11:11:11 timing are:

Mars in Leo @ 29 degrees in opposition to Neptune in Aquarius @ 28 degrees, conjunct Chiron Rx in Pisces @ 00 degrees - the 29th degree of any sign (known as the Anaretic Degree) has significance in that it has defective vision due to fatigue, it's tired and is more in tune with the energies of the next sign than the one it is in. Mars here means we can see both sides of the issue, and we may go back and forth, especially when new information comes our way, putting off the decision we need to make now. [from Eric Uberseder's article, "Give it the 29th Degree"] Mars is all about asserting action, and in Leo would normally be about creativity, romance, having fun and play or being with our children. Since it is in the 29th Degree of Leo, we need to look at Virgo's influence of wanting to be of service for the good of all, as well as looking after our physical bodies right now. Wait for the information before taking your action; perhaps Neptune's higher spiritual mindset will help dissolve any illusions you are still holding onto? Chiron Rx points to inwardly sensing, emotionally and with intuition, where our true boundaries are between self and Higher Self - and since they are merging with one another more and more now, there may be major Ego resistance to this merge. We are learning to EMBRACE our Divine selves, and the Ego sees this as death to itself, when really it is more of taking on a new persona that INCLUDES both! We become MORE of who we truly are - Spiritual and Divine Light beings, in a physical body, needing Ego to keep us safe from harm. We can become polarized within this opposition due to FEAR OF THE UKNOWN! Yet remember, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! It is happening to all of us, at the same time.
Saturn in Libra is trining Neptune from his place of 23 degrees, 13 minutes. Lending a helping hand to help organize our social events (Libra) around this Spiritual reawakening (Neptune) that is truly about recognizing your own UNIQUENESS in the world (Aquarius). We must grab hold of what we need to be doing as an individual yet remember we are still part of a greater whole, a community of Love and Light that is coming together in ways not seen on this planet, ever. Even this process we are undergoing, the Ascension, is totally unique and never before heard of or accomplished anywhere in the Universe before now.

I look at the Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon @ 19 degrees of Taurus and it reads: A NEW CONTINENT RISING OUT OF THE OCEAN (!!!) - you can find that extra spark to create a brand new, original opportunity. But this is only the beginning. There is much work to be done developing this into something fertile and productive. A whole new field of activity is coming to light. Enormous potentiality emerging (!!!). If operating from the Shadow: continually seeking 'new worlds' rather than finding a place and cooperation in the existing one. We can produce exactly the right combination of fertile and productive to create that which is good for all of us. The evolutionary intentions of Aquarius is to 'incorporate authentic individuality, uniqueness in order to evolve the collective within the soul' as per Evolutionary Astrologer Steven Forrest. We can think of this Full Moon and the 11:11:11 portal as a time to raise a New Earth, with our Garden of Eden potentials right along with it. Another, yet better and more loving, Lemuria or Atlantis! Learn from the mistakes and mis-steps of the past and move on into our deeper heart's desire!

As the Sun continues its journey through the sign of Scorpio (in opposition to this Full Moon) remember to honour that which is dying, and see it reflected in the falling leaves of this current Fall of Mother Earth's season. She is preparing for the deep sleep or hibernation, waiting patiently for the new seeds of the Spring to burst open with unrealized potential (similar to the New Moon's energy). This Full Moon in Taurus, earthy and sensual, encourages all of us to dive into ALL of our senses and envision a bountiful, colourful and magical New Earth - bringing Heaven to Earth!

Our Ceremonies in Egypt + 11:11:11 Timing

Several sleeps later I am finally back on track with my own routines since returning from Egypt a week ago! The New Moon Gathering of last Wednesday as well as my ASTRO101 Basics class on Thursday allowed me to share some of the amazing experiences our Spiritual tour group had while visiting all the sacred and ancient sites in Egypt. My Guides, Angels, and Sekhmet want me to share some of those experiences here as well. They are all key steps in what has been leading up to this 11:11:11 Portal opening of Divine, Universal and multi-dimensional energies we all will receive leading up to and including Friday, and beyond. I also share some awesome pictures I took during our journey, showing the actual sites where we conducted these ceremonies.

It is important to understand, as we complete this year and 2012, that we are all indeed undergoing Initiations and tests of the Ego and finding courage of the Soul-self. Ongoing, never to end! People misunderstand that just because we pass an Initiation or test doesn't mean it is free flying and no disharmony ever after! Decidedly not - from here on out we will continue to be tested and it is our duty to follow these four steps of the New Earth School:

BE WILLING TO SHOW UP! The fact that I was willing to go to both Mt Shasta and Egypt at all was a huge step! This ACTION activated all the other magical experiences I encountered along the way. And yes, "showing up" at home, work and play when the Ego is totally resistant NOT TO gains the same possibilities of magical and timely teachings and healing. One item of note: had I NOT gone to Mt Shasta, a major development for me in Egypt would not have made sense. I needed to gather all the information and guidance in Mt Shasta, which then rolled on into the next trip, Egypt. You'll soon see what I mean.
PAY ATTENTION! To all the signs, whisperings and cryptic messages from your Guides, Angels, Higher Self, etc. Very important to do so - how else will you know what your next steps are? This is all part of the new way of operating on the New Earth Grid (which will be 100% activated as of October 2012).
LISTEN! To your heart and intuition as to what to do next, say to whom, take action over there rather than here. Very important! I did all of this during the two Spiritual tours and received wondrous insights as to who I truly am, where I am going and what I am truly meant to be doing. Remember: what is revealed to us does so incrementally - not in a huge rush. This helps keep the Ego's resistance down to a dull roar! LOL! Okay, well, maybe a small tsunami? Feel your way forward, with intention, and the rest will be revealed as it needs to and not before.
BEING UNATTACHED TO THE OUTCOME! I had no expectations of either trip; just showed up and was willing to experience and learn from all that was served up to me from the people I toured with and met, the places we visited and did ceremony in, the food I ate (which was a bit different from what my body is used to eating over time), and especially the energies and feelings I felt along the way. I had NO idea what the intention was (other than my own) from the Universal perspective as to why I needed to be at these two places in 2011. What is quite intriguing is that initially, our group was to go to Egypt in March of 2011, and due to the Revolution there, post-poned it all to October. If they had gone in March I wouldn't have been able to go at that time. There is a REASON and TIMING for EVERYTHING! Believe it!

We have so much more to offer ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth when we follow our inner guidance systems, listen to those subtle words, visions, or feelings and TRUST and have FAITH that what we are experiencing from the inside is TRUE for each of us. There is method to the so-called madness of the Universe - madness according to our Ego-selves who like to control and have power over outside influences to remain safe and secure. Static in other words; not moving forward or expanding our horizons. Jupiter is currently in Taurus, going backward or Retrograde (Rx) and asks us, through this sign, how WORTHY do we feel about expanding beyond our comfort zones?. We saw Jupiter shining brightly each and every evening (and early morning!) we were out and about, hanging out with Orion, the Pleiades, and the Crown constellations. Very cool to see so many stars in the Heavens while in Egypt.

Also note: both Venus and Mercury are travelling together again for most of November, in the sign of Sagittarius, very close to the North Node there as well. Jupiter rules Sagittarius and the 9th House of Life Experience. All about having faith in your path this lifetime; seeking your inner truth; travelling long distances to unveil the Unknown as required; talking with like-minded others to understand "Why am I here and what am I to be doing?" The North Node indicates the direction our collective Souls are moving toward, ensuring new experiences and Soulful insights that we all signed up to have this lifetime! Believe it or not. Mercury is now messengering the Divine Feminine out to us globally from Venus, the Goddess of Love (note that Isis was the first Goddess of Love!).

Now, on to the ceremonies we held in Egypt. I will add the dates as some ceremonies coincided with the New Moon and Mayan Calendar Ending days, clearly not a coincidence there either! I also realized, as I compared the Mt Shasta trip with Egypt, how magical the journey was: it seemed to be like a huge puzzle where each of us participating had one or two pieces of that puzzle, all of us showing up at the right time to add ours in, initiating next steps for others along the way. Truly a beautiful and wondrous dance really. A gift!

Our very first ceremony was conducted up in the Kings Chamber at the Great Pyramid of Giza on October 23rd early morning, not far from our hotel in Cairo. No cameras are allowed within the pyramid. We climbed up the outside for a few rows up, then entered a tunnel (you can just see this area a third of the way up the pyramid, in the middle of this picture). As we made our way up and through the passageways, others were descending, making for some tight squeezes past one another. My Astrologer self came out, making the analogy of the Sun being in Scorpio right now (Life/Death, Birth/Rebirth) and it seemed to me we were physically rebirthing ourselves as we ascended to the Kings Chamber. Once there, as we caught our breath, I shared this with our group. Then Pamela, our Spiritual Gal in Charge, lead us in a toning ceremony, where we infused the Divine White Light into the space, place and area of that pyramid. A few other tourists hung out with us as we toned with the Hathors. Our voices melded and rang around and cleared whatever needed to be cleared from that space, in time for the 11:11:11, as well as deep within each of us.

I felt energized, released whatever fears my Ego was still hanging onto about being in Egypt, and we all had huge smiles on our faces upon returning to the light of day! Interesting note: no ceremony or meditation is allowed in the King's Chamber without express permission and paying for a guide to do so. Our session there was totally spontaneous and Divinely led; the Angels helped to stretch the rules :)))

Next stop this day was to visit the Sphinx, which believe it or not, is several 100 meters away and down the hill from the pyramids! All those pictures we usually see can be misleading! Here was the main event for us and we (and Elia, our Tour Manager) wondered how we were going to pull this one off as there were a lot of other tourists milling around us! Interesting how the Angels always manage to herd other people off into the opposite directions from where we gather when we need it most.

Those of us who brought sacred objects and crystals placed them in the middle of our circle as we stood just behind and to the right of the gigantic Sphinx, the vast pyramids directly behind us up the hill. Her energy was awesome, gentle yet powerful all at the same time. I had a Lemurian crystal point that had been activated on Mt Shasta during our Vortex Tour there in September, and was told to bring it to Egypt.

We toned again with the Hathors, aligning the Divine White Light into the Sphinx as well as the new Earth Grid, with the intention of Love and Light for this New Earth we are birthing. Near the end of the ceremony I envisioned this huge glow of white light emerging from within the Sphinx, her whole face lit up and the Light shot up and out into the vast Universe. Then She sat back and smiled, and totally relaxed, as if it had been long-awaited to send that Light out to the Heavens.

After the ceremony I had the task of figuring out where to plant the Lemurian crystal - it was supposed to stay behind in Egypt near the Sphinx. There were so many people watching us, I had to quickly make a decision and act before the crowds returned. To the left of our group, just before the pit yawned open that surrounded the Sphinx, I spied a huge block of stone sitting on the sand. I walked over to it, bent down and under a jutted edge, shoved the crystal way underneath. I found soft yielding sand, so was able to dig the crystal down a bit, totally out of sight of prying eyes. Our mission was now completed.

Outside of Karnak Temple Complex covering 100 hectares near Luxor, October 24th morning, is where Sekhmet, the Goddess of Energy and the Divine Feminine Power has her temple. The Complex itself is about 4,000 years old and consists of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples. Lucky for us Sekhmet's outer temple meant we were off the beaten path, with no crowds to contend with. However, due to renovations, this area was cordoned off to us. There was a small ruin nearby that offered us some shade and privacy, so we gathered here. Bees were circling us, alerting us to the fact that She knew we were there nonetheless!

Each of us in turn were to tone while Pamela downloaded information from the Angels and Ascended Masters. We all were in altered states of mind at this time and most of us don't remember much of what was said. It was all about being in our Divine Power and correct use of it from now on. We each held Pamela's wand, signifying the rod of power, and toned through an amethyst Ankh (signifying Eternal Life). I just happened to be standing in the spot Pamela selected for this to occur, so I went first. As soon as my turn ended, my Ego got me out of there like a shot! Totally emotional and angry and needing to just go and be alone, I abandoned by Soul Sisters (I would normally stay and support each in turn). Not today. As it turned out, as the week progressed, there was much more going on than any of us realized! Elia and I chatted at length while the rest of the ceremony carried on without me. This was another key moment as well. And those bees were buzzing around me, letting me know Sekhmet was near.

The next ceremony to take place was the 25th, the Dark of the Moon (day before the New Moon) at the Dendera Hathor Temple very early in the morning (to beat the heat and crowds). Elia, having toured these temples for many years, was able to get permission for us to climb down to an underground crypt. It was totally beautiful down there and as close and warm as the Great Pyramid of Giza was. The walls were covered with depictions of Hathor rattles and other hieroglyphs, some in colour still; some not.

As each of us entered the crypt our names were announced via Elia's tuning forks and toning, then as a group we toned, communing with the Goddess Hathor, creating excellent sounds and energy. The place was vibrating with Light for sure when we finished. Continuing our tour, Elia pointing out for me that most excellent piece of the Celestial Sky I had been waiting for, all darkened now from the many fires burned by ancient worshippers along the way.

The Celestial Sky or Zodiac is supported by 12 people who represent the 12 months of the year, and the 24 arms represent the 24 hours of the day. The main directions are represented by the Horus-looking beings (N, W, S, E) and the Egyptian women denote the sub directions (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter or the Equinox and Solstice times of year). In the centre reside all the Zodiac signs.

In the wee hours of October 26th, New Moon in Scorpio, several of us took a ferry across the Nile from where our cruise ship was moored, to the Left Bank of Luxor where we watched the hot air balloons come to life before boarding our own. See all the magical Orbs that came along with us for the ride! Wonderful! As the sunrise dawned, we saw, from above, the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings where the great Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt (1600-1100 BC) were buried in quest for the immortal life, and where the tomb of King Tut was uncovered in 1922.

That afternoon I did some Astro-Dice readings for several of our group while we sailed down to Edfu. By now the effects of having run out of that ceremony at Karnak were beginning to tell on me physically and emotionally. More clues were coming up every day, and I still wondered what my next steps were to be.

That evening, sitting under the stars and Jupiter's bright light, I asked Elia what his vision is for the future of his country, Egypt. We planned for me to read the Republic of Egypt astrological chart the next evening. See my previous blog for that reading.

In the afternoon of October 27th as a group we met to discuss what we've been receiving from all the ceremonies, as well as any insights we wanted to share with everyone. I apologized to the group for skipping out on them during the Sekhmet ceremony; most were totally surprised I had done this as no one really noticed I had left. With extra downloaded information from Pamela, I remembered that it was all about my Divine Feminine Power and how I have misused it in lifetimes past (which is why the Ego is darned resistant to me moving into my Divine Feminine Power THIS lifetime!).

The toning I did that day dislodged some long-held anger and fear from my cellular memories, which three days later were now being released from me physically, making me feel a bit ill and out of sorts. All of this seemed to affect my Sacral Chakra area. Frieda had channelled messages for all of us, including Elia, and that really added more 'signs and details' to the mix of my next steps. All along I could 'see', whenever we visited another temple, while watching and listening to Elia spin his ancient teachings, that this man used to be a Priest in ancient times. And I kept mentioning this to him, which he kept brushing aside. My Guides and Angels pestered me to keep nudging him, telling me, "Priest in Hiding!" The other reason was the deep connection between the two of us as well that seemed to span many many lifetimes, even multi-dimensionally as well (harking back to Mt Shasta's information). I later read Egypt's chart to our group before dinner, adding some keynotes of this week's New Moon information as well.

Friday, October 28th morning, the day the Mayan Calendar ended, we took another ferry ride across the Nile to the island that now supports one of the most unique and sacred temples in Egypt, Philae Temple. We beelined it to the West Colonnade next to the second pillar, in the sanctuary of Isis, the Goddess of Love and Magic. Here we conducted yet another toning ceremony after I, then Pamela, spoke a bit about the significance of this day. Since March this year we have been experiencing, in 18-20 day chunks, life and challenges that used to take us 6 months, or 1 year, or 20 years, or millennia to deal with! So if any of you feel that you wanted to stop and get off this planet, this could be why! Glad you are still around to see these transitional days ahead!

We each envisioned our intention for what we hold for the future new Garden of Eden down here on Mother Earth (Heaven on Earth) and through the toning and dancing, downloaded it collectively into the new Earth Grid. I saw near the end of this ceremony that each participant of this ceremony, as she walks on Mother Earth, will indeed continue to activate and download this intent onto the planetary Earth Grid, creating golden footsteps along the way.

We returned that night for the Sound and Light show, and here's a picture of that West wing in the night, side view.

In between ferry rides to and from Philae, it became quite apparent that my illness and the Sekhmet ceremony plus the deep connection both Elia and I felt for one another meant more than met the eye! All the dots finally connected (via the chart reading the night before as well as the group talk that day) and with the New Moon in Scorpio, Egypt's Second Saturn Return in Scorpio in it's 8th House (ruled by Scorpio) I realized two of us had another ceremony to do. One that we had done together many thousands of years earlier, that somehow went sideways - a misuse of power - that misaligned my Sacral Chakra, as well as that of Egypt!

The Priest and Priestess back then were Elia and I today. I told him about it all the day before and we agreed to meet on the foredeck after lunch this day to put it all to rights. He had his tuning forks and I had Pamela's Ankh and wand. While I toned, Elia used his forks on my body, reciting an Egyptian prayer in Arabic, while we faced each direction in turn. After the very first direction was healed, I saw a huge galloping wave of bright Divine Light make its way up the Nile from where we were in Aswan, all the way up to the Delta. It totally stirred up and cleansed the Nile, resurrecting her much needed sexual creativity to birth a new nation in the weeks and months and years ahead!

For the next three days I underwent more deep releases as well, for myself, Egypt and womankind as a whole. The other piece of the puzzle came forth later - this whole week had been about the return of the Divine Feminine Power to ALL women in all countries on planet earth, as well as Egypt herself. So if any one reading this has been wondering why you've been more emotional and releasing through tears and other emotions, this is why. We returned what was misaligned all those thousands of years ago. It will take a bit of time to integrate, process and heal. We have all given away our Divine Feminine Power in one way or another, or misused it, hence fearing to bring it back into ourselves ever since! Men must learn to let go of Power and Control; Women must learn to take their Divine Feminine Power of receptivity back.

The days leading up to 11:11:11 are also deeply moving energies within us. It is therefore very important for each of us to ground ourselves, drink plenty of water, and eat lots of protein and rest when you need it. According to Lauren Gorgo and the Pleiadian High Council (notice how often we saw the Pleiades in the sky while in Egypt!) our biology will be reconnected to Nature (the earth) and the forces of creation (which are cosmic). Very deep and powerful energies to be sure! We are who we've been waiting for and we are birthing a New Earth at the same time. Very powerful and interesting times we all signed up for to live through! Believe it or not.

The story goes ever on. Our wee Spiritual group already have plans to revisit Mt Shasta in May 2012, then Greece, Turkey and Crete in October where our story and mission continues ever on. There is a reason for everything and a Divine time to know about it as well. Follow your hearts, listen to your intuition and know you are exactly where you are meant to be every step of the Divine way!

Egypt's Second Saturn Return Timing 2011

I am back! The trip to Egypt was totally life-changing for me on so many levels! I felt like I had come home, that Egypt was not a foreign country to me at all, and I know that all of the knowledge I hold within me now was gathered while living many many lifetimes in Egypt. I didn't know for sure why I had to go to Egypt - and now my life is changed forever in the remembering of who I have been, and who I am now.

Our Tour Manager (above lower corner at Great Pyramid of Giza), Elia Takla, was born, raised and educated in Egypt, making for a truly dynamic and passionate tour guide! His love for his country, its culture, history and the people was truly evident every day we travelled to yet another grand site/sight. As an Egyptologist, his wealth of factual information added yet another level of expertise to the mix. His Libran Sun ensured that we had access to areas of the sacred temples that most people do not, due to his lifelong connections with people from all walks of life. While in Egypt I had my Astro-Dice with me to do mini-readings while we sailed down the Nile and several members of our group took advantage of this opportunity for a reading. Elia asked me to do a reading on Egypt and what I could discern about the future of this wonderful country. I had followed my intuition prior to the trip by printing off the Republic of Egypt chart (DOB June 18, 1953, Cairo, Egypt at 11:30 pm EET) so I was prepared for this request! Several members of our group gathered around to hear what I had to say.

While I prepped for this reading, I realized that the planet Saturn was in close proximity to the natal Saturn of Egypt's chart, telling me that this country is undergoing her 2nd Saturn Return (Saturn travels around the chart in 29-30 years, returning to its original location creating a Return timing). The 1st Saturn Return is all about deciding what to keep in your life, what to change and not repeat, what new hills your inner Soul is calling for you to explore.

All of us undergo this timing around the age of 28-31, where we decide whether or not we want to nest, settle down and have children, or pursue further career opportunities, travel more or all of the above! For a country, this means that change is needed, and depending on what House of Life Experience it occurs in, will tell the tale. It is up to the leaders of the day to discern what that direction will be and how well they drive it. Saturn helps us to structure our lives, with time, shows us our limitations and boundaries, whether we have good ones or not!

Looking at the chart, Saturn is right next to Neptune in the 8th House of shared money, shared resources, sexuality, Life/Death/Birth/Rebirth, taxes and money inherited from others. This is also the House of the Ego Shadow - long-buried deep emotional wounds of fears and anxieties that hold us back from shining out in the world as we could be! Interesting note here: Egypt's vast 5,000 year history of creating megalithic monuments celebrating the life and death of their leaders, the process of mummification, and what happens to us after death is exactly mirroring the 8th House themes of Life, Death, Birth and Rebirth - over and over these themes are repeated in the stories of Egypt's Gods/Goddesses, Pharaoh's and Kings. With Neptune right there beside Saturn, the Divine principle of spirituality and what happens to us after death is key. The ancient Egyptians believed in all of this. The question is, what have Egypt's current time leaders believed in?

The Shadow of the 8th House of shared resources and money can lead to the corruption that the latest deposed leaders believed in. The Revolution of January 28th, 2011 led by the new generation of Neptune in Capricorn Egyptians (ages 14-26) signaled "we have had enough of corruption and we want a livelihood and we want to work! Share those resources and that money with ALL your countrymen! Not just the top few." Pluto, ruler of the 8th House and the sign of Scorpio, is also transiting the sign of Capricorn in Egypt's 10th House of its Public Face - the sign ruling material gain, integrity and what it is we want to build with current resources at hand. Pluto is the Great Transformer, pulling back the carpet to see what we have swept underneath, hoping never to see the light of day! Pluto brings to the Light that which needs to be seen, locally and globally, in order to cleanse, release the old and bring on the new.

Egypt herself has no choice in the matter; the time has come for massive change, cleaning up the corruption and ensuring ALL Egyptians are able to work and have money to live on. It will also be a time for the women of Egypt to educate themselves and others, have the courage to talk about their suppression due to religious factions (Venus + Mercury in Scorpio transiting the 9th House of higher learning, seeking our truth, long-distance travel and "why are we here and where do we want to go in the future?") - it is past time for the Divine Feminine power to return to Egypt, just as it is returning to rest of the planet! Having Scorpio in the 8th and 9th House means there is deep emotional wounds to be healed on both sides, men and women. Men will need to let go of ultimate and supreme power, while women finally stand up to take back their portion of it! Both will then be EMpowered to stand side by side in equality once and for all.

Back to Saturn and Neptune together in the 8th House - in the sign of Libra. All about justice, what is equal and BALANCED and in HARMONY for the good of all. Very interesting - or the shadow is to sit on the fence and not make any decisions at all. Which is the reason why Egypt has fallen into the morass of corruption, secrecy and deception due to its leaders not making decisions for the good of ALL citizens of that country. "O what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!"

The latest leader, President Nasser, is now in jail, along with his two grownup sons. This President is the last of the Three Generals that took over from King Farouk's rule back in 1953. One by one, these Generals, in almost 60 years and two generations, have brought Egypt to her knees. Ground Zero has been met.

Elia asked me if the upcoming elections in Alexandria and Cairo will start the process rolling swiftly? Well, no. Saturn is all about Time, taking the Time and being on Time. Everything happens for a reason, and when it is Divinely meant to happen. Saturn is currently opposed by Uranus in Aries (hitting the 1st House of Self-Identity in Egypt's chart) creating the dynamic of FREEDOM NOW please! The good thing is that Saturn is slowing down this impulsive and instinctual action, so that everyone has a say, they have time to make the necessary changes and meet the multitude of challenges that is ahead.

Aries is the Warrior, Explorer, Adventurer, Knight/Damsel, Pioneer, Hero/Heroine, Rebel, Intuitive, Survivor, Advocate, Activist and Leader. Egypt needs ALL of these archetypes, in Divine balance and equality, to come forth via Uranus' "fly ball out of left field" and EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! Every man (Knight) and woman (Damsel) needs to come to their own rescue to ensure that Egypt as a country moves ahead into Democracy aligned to all that is good and right from their ancient culture's history. Who will step forward to be THE leader of Egypt? Or will it be a group of dynamic leaders, working together to clear the Ego Shadow once and for all?

Saturn, as Father Time, will reveal all as it needs to be and not before. The North Node at 15 degrees of Sagittarius (when I first did this reading on October 27th) puts all of this change and challenge up on the global stage for the world to witness and lend a hand in as need be. Sagittarius rules the 9th House where the current North Node is. This Node is pointing in the direction Egypt's very Soul wants to ride into. Egypt's natal North Node is in Aquarius in it's natural 11th House of its FUTURE SELF. Egypt has ALWAYS been ahead of its time, since ancient times. Now the new leaders to come will need to discern, from their hearts, what Egypt's new Future is to be, and how to accomplish it in the now.

The Rising Sign is in watery Pisces, again, connection with it's Divine Soul/spiritual self. What will Egypt teach the rest of us, globally, about embracing her Divine self, while ruling for the good of ALL her people? How will she attain this? Wherever we have Pisces we have the Shadow of our addictions - so wanting to escape back into the corruption, martyrdom of the past will always be there. Egypt and her leaders and people will need to let go of the Piscean Age of "o woe is me" and take themselves off that Drama Triangle of victimhood, persecution or rescuer! It is Time (Saturn) to stand tall, in equality (Libra) with their Divine Spirit (Neptune/Pisces) intact.

The Second Saturn Return timing, began as of October 17th this year, heralds the Divine/Spiritual connection we all undergo close to our 60's - becoming the Elder of the Tribe, passing on the wisdom of our collective experiences and skills, ensuring the future generations don't miss out on hearing our stories and learning from past mistakes and roads taken in error. Learning from the past, and Egypt's past is quite long, means discerning with their hearts now, what to do in each new step forward. Having the Faith and Hope (Jupiter) that they are WORTH it (Jupiter in Taurus currently) to have a new life and country unfold - this is the challenge the Egyptians have before them.

All the fear-mongering from the world media, especially within Egypt herself, is just that - not based on reality at all! Not once in all the time we were in Egypt did we fear for our lives. The Egyptian people are beautiful, loving and sincere, with wonderful teasing humour and they genuinely care for each other and the tourists who travel through their great country. How often they smiled and waved at us and we at them from our wee tour bus! Don't listen to the fear-based mis-led Media (who knows what their leaders are thinking in allowing all this misinformation to be reported around the world!). It is totally without foundation!

With Neptune as the Ruler of Egypt's chart, the high road is the Divine Spirit/Soul of Egypt that may have been long-buried in the sands of time until now. Dissolving the Illusions of the past, the corruptions of the soul, and the Ego's fear of change will ensure a Rebirth and transformative Egypt to be sure!

October 28, 2011 - The End of the Mayan Calendar

There are two mindsets about the actual ending of the Mayan Calendar - will it be on December 21, 2012 (the Winter Solstice when the Sun enters 0 degrees of Capricorn) or October 28, 2011? What exactly does it mean for us that this ancient people's calendar is ending now? Popular movies feature fearful themes of actual earth changing scenarios of chaos and people dying in droves. Well, yes, we are experiencing radical climate changes right now, and yes, people are dying as a result of them. This doesn't mean we are seeing the complete end of times for everyone around the world.

I look at the planetary alignment for October 28, 2011 and see there is a dynamic configuration happening this day. The players are:

Mercury conjunct Venus in Scorpio (23 and 24 degrees, 09 and 19 minutes respectively) - the planet that rules communication, how we learn and reason aligned with the planet of love, harmony, and beauty - delving deep within our Ego's unconscious Shadow self, intensified by the passion of Scorpio. We all must look out for those moments of jealousy, resentment or inability to forgive and forget! Mercury is asking us to talk and chat about it all, process it through our minds and speak to the depths of our feelings. What is your true passion? Are you living and expressing it?
Both Neptune Rx in Aquarius (28 degrees and 11 minutes) and Mars in Leo (23 degrees 00 minutes) square off to Mercury and Venus, creating what is known as a T-Square formation. This also means Mars and Neptune are in opposition to each other - where polarization can become a problem. Mars asks us to assert ourselves to shine out in the world (hopefully doing so from the heart and not from Ego!) while Neptune continues to assist us to shed all our illusions that have prevented us from embracing our true Spiritual individuality. The square aspect brings into consciousness the emotionality of where we are right now. Talking about our passions will ease the stress of this one if we are afraid to stand up for who we truly are right now. Ensure you are talking about the positive stuff and not just gossiping about others behind their backs! Aquarius stands for individuation within community - how are you allowing yourself (and others) to stand true to self while ALSO contributing these individual talents to the Good of All in Community around you?
Jupiter Rx in Taurus still opposes the Sun in Scorpio (5 degrees for each) on this day. Remember the Rx means retrograde, taking the usual outgoing energy INSIDE for assessment of where you are with it. Both Neptune and Jupiter are asking us to assess our illusions and our optimism - are you truly 'seeing' what is really there or is it illusions of grandeur? Factor in your self-worth and what you truly VALUE in your life these days - how do you wish to explore the upcoming Unknown? Ethics and values are the key this day. Oppositions have two modes of operation: either seeing where the other is coming from and moving forward to meet in the middle in compromise and mediation OR totally backing each other into opposite corners, stubbornly refusing to 'see' the other side of the coin! More meeting of the minds and less opposing and warring is the key this day.

I believe October 28, 2011 is the true end of the Mayan Calendar via my intuition. The planets mirror for us what we are experiencing here on Mother Earth. They are asking us to embrace our passions, talk about them, think and reason through the why of our deep emotional makeup, and assert our Soul's need to Shine out in the world. No more covering up and hiding - the closet doors are wide open for all to see. No more hiding - and if you are, well, you may very well miss out on all the good changes happening around the globe. Jupiter Rx means expansion INWARD; Neptune Rx means look at your INNER illusions and 'see' how they are mirrored outwardly by the people and circumstances you bring into your life. They are direct mirrors of self and always have been. They will continue to be so more and more once the "wolf in sheep's clothing" is exposed for what it is.

We have been undergoing 13 phases of intense 18-20 day jaunts through the last of the Galactic Underworld since March 9th this year (used to take a year or 20 years to undergo what we've collectively been doing since March!). We have been in the final or 13th Heaven-Pulse (October 11-28th), cresting October 19-20. This phase is Yang Fruition, the final harmonics of the universal consciousness evolution are put into place by the Cosmos and manifestation of the highest forms of this new consciousness become possible. The flower has been pollinated by the Higher Solar energies and produces seeds of universal consciousness which are spread far and wide by the winds of Spirit within human consciousness

My good friend Erin (thank you Erin!) put it this way as well: before the Julian calendar was created, October 31st was deemed the end of the year. What followed were 10 days of 'rest' prior to November 11th, when the New Year began anew. Take stock the days following October 28th of what is dying in your life (aspects of self, friendships, love interests, ideas, visions) and finally let go of what no longer 'grows corn' in your life. Habits, behaviors, you name it. Really discern, with your heart, what stays and what needs to be released. Then go within November 1-10th and envision your new beginning, to the depths of your Soul. November 11th, 2011 will be a new beginning for all of us.

Everyone has been experiencing bouts of Ego fears and anxieties, people in their lives causing mayhem and anger due to their own Ego fears/anxieties, and this is all about the death throes of our Ego-self as it has been operating up until now.

Imagine a future where the Soul rules, the Ego assists, and we all live, think and feel from our Hearts. THIS is the end of our world as we know it. Less greed and fear and me firsters. More collective harmony, working as a team, and for the GOOD OF ALL. Remember how the Japanese took responsibility and looked after the cleanup in the aftermath of the tsunamis earlier this year? No looting, or pillaging or killing? This is how harmony, grace and working as a team works for the common good. This is a small example of our future world.

Be a part of it, lead by example within it, and expand your horizons (Jupiter) to shine out in the world (Sun) with your passion and vision for a healthier and more meaningful future. The Winter Solstice of 2012 will be aligned closer than ever to the Galactic Centre - but that is all really. October 28, 2011 is truly when we ALL decide how we want our future to look by looking within and listening to our Heart - our Soul's portal.

New Moon in Scorpio, October 26, 2011

On Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 12:56 p.m. PDT we begin another New Moon cycle - at 03 degrees of Scorpio 03 minutes. I'll be on a cruise ship sailing down the Nile to Edfu, south of Luxor, when this occurs. Look to your charts to see where this New Moon occurs and what House of Life Experience it will be activating this month's Soul growth themes for you.

I noticed when I blogged about the Sun entering Scorpio the other day that this New Moon (with both the Sun and Moon sitting in the exact same spot) will be sitting on top of my natal Jupiter conjunct North Node conjunct Neptune Rx in my 3rd House of communication, inner talk, how I learn and reason, and all the daily chit-chat I will do with the group I'm travelling with in Egypt. Our "short-distance travels" will entail our day trips to the various temples and pyramids along the way! Who knew a year ago I'd be halfway around the world, enjoying some deep and spiritually emotional Soul work and service?

The sign of Scorpio is Fixed water, and the most private sign of the zodiac. People who have their Sun, Moon, Rising Sign or Midheaven in Scorpio tend to hold their cards close to their chest, allow people into their innermost thoughts and feelings only when they feel safe to do so (and the rest of us may feel 'frozen out'). If a Scorpio person feels we are getting too close for their Ego's comfort, we will certainly feel the sting of their rejection of us! This is the Shadow side (and first stage) of Scorpio - please read my previous blog to refresh your minds with the Four Stages of Scorpio.

These Four Stages are ongoing, cycling through everything deep within them (and us wherever we have Scorpio in our charts) that needs to be brought to their conscious attention over time. Pretty much why we are here on the planet folks! We are always on a continual wheel of learning about ourselves at deeper levels from the previous cycle (Moon-wise, Sun-wise and planet-wise) from the time we are born until we die/ascend and even more so thereafter! You heard it here first - the testing and initiations and Soul growth is never-ending. So get comfortable and know this is part of life on all levels of existence - especially when the Sun and Moon travel through Scorpio.

Another archetype of Scorpio is the Snow Queen from our fairy tales, whose icy beauty and jealous heart lured many an innocent child to her frosty fortress. The way to unfreeze her heart is through Love and Forgiveness - and this may seem to be a constant battle for some of us. Love and forgive Self and others as often as you can. It is truly the only way onward and upward.

Scorpio's traits can be summed up as:

Powerful feelings and emotions, committed, loyal, imaginative, discerning, subtle, persistent and determined.
Jealous, resentful, obstinate, unforgiving, inflexible, secretive, suspicious or vindictive - if operating from the Ego's Shadow side.

This New Moon also has the following players adding their 2 cents worth into the mix:

Pluto in Capricorn - (05 degrees and 18 minutes) and Ruler of Scorpio, will need conscious attention to ensure collectively the world's dysfunctional institutions (traditionally government, law, health, education, insurance, banking and other corporations to name a few) transform their reasons for being in business. Time is of the essence, and it will be interesting to see what transformations ensue in the weeks and months to come. Personally, what side of the Integrity fence do you reside when it comes to material ambition? What are you building in your life and how solid is your foundation?
Chiron Rx in Pisces - (00 degrees and 45 minutes) reminds all of us how sensitive we have always been (and may just be waking up to this now) to the emotions of others - their pain and suffering. Reach out and hug someone - yet do so consciously, with proper boundaries in place. This planetoid in Pisces shows us where we may be soaking up the energies from others, and this New Moon Chiron is lending a helping hand to ensure we 'see' from deep within ourselves just how much we do feel for others around us! Don't allow those Energy Vampires to syphon your energy away, or download it all onto you. Be discerning and act accordingly.
Uranus Rx in Aries - (01 degree and 25 minutes) shows us how important it is to finally stand up and embrace how unique and successful we have become in our own right, no matter what people say! Look through the hidden messages you are receiving now (from this New Moon) to make sense of spontaneous actions taken now.
Jupiter Rx in Taurus - (05 degrees and 35 minutes) opposes this New Moon duo of the Moon and Sun - taking stock deep within (Rx) of just how worthy our beliefs are in this changing and dynamic world! Jupiter Rx is also lending a helping hand up to Pluto saying yes, the transformation might be painful at the moment, but just imagine how good it's going to feel later on once we have passed this last gasp down the birthing canal - release all that pain and negativity Ladies and Gentlemen! Do it NOW! This is the second round of three passes (last one will be March 12, 2012) between Jupiter and Pluto - take advantage of the helping hand and allow what needs to be released, once and for all.

The Sabian Symbol this month, at 4 degrees of Scorpio is: A Youth Holding a Lighted Candle in a Devotional Ritual. There's a feeling of reverence here, and ceremony. The candle depicts the light that illuminates one's consciousness and 'a youth' implies an aspirant on the path. Your situation may have new developments and a simple vitality. Simple rays of hope will give you spiritual strength. Light a candle and affirm your intentions. Simple ideals. If operating from the Shadow - naive reliance on insincere promises.

Know where you are coming from, deep within emotionally and intuitionally, and make your intent known. This New Moon comes two days before the end of the Mayan Calendar timing of October 28th - what is your heart's and Soul's desire to experience in the coming New Age? We are all undergoing a death of some sort from deep within - allow that part of yourself to die (symbolically) and let go of what has been dying for months or weeks previous to this New Moon. Now is the time to finally let it all go in preparation for the spiritual strength needed to move ahead with your Divine Life Purpose - we all signed up for one in our Sacred Contracts (birth chart) this lifetime. Dig deep, remember what you forgot, and be conscious in your next steps forward into the Unknown.

Sun Moves into Scorpio - October 23, 2011

The yearly jaunt of the Sun through the astrological signs is now moving into Scorpio, the most private sign of the Zodiac. As a Fixed water sign, Scorpio delves deep into the dark waters of the Ego Self - our Shadow side - either as a way to hide and project its behaviours onto others, or to actually 'see' the root of Ego's behaviour in order to heal unaccepted (until now) Soul parts. Which stage of Scorpio are you operating from?

On Sunday, October 23rd at 11:30 a.m. PDT the Sun enters 0 degrees of Scorpio. Where will the Sun begin to activate Scorpio's themes in your chart that day? I list the four stages of Scorpio below:

SCORPION - Ego and power issues reside here and the goal or lesson is to learn to give up the need to emotionally control others (Saboteur archetype). There is a story about a frog and a scorpion where the scorpion convinces the wary frog to ferry the scorpion across the pond while the frog leaps from lily pad to lily pad across it. Halfway there the scorpion stings the frog - which the frog was afraid would happen - killing the frog. Before dying, the frog says, "You promised me you wouldn't sting me!" and the scorpion replied, "Sorry, it's in my nature." The moral of this story is the scorpion must go through people's Ego in order to get what it truly wants - our irrational actions sabotage us! And we can continually stay at this stage our whole lifetime, if the Ego refuses to move on to the next stage of the
SNAKE - Questioning "Why do I do this?" helps us to get the answers to our self-sabotaging if we reflect on those patterns of behaviour that repeat over and over. Counselling at this stage can help immensely, giving conscious awareness into Ego's unconscious actions. Questioning ourselves on a continual basis holds the Ego up to be assessed moment by moment as we live our day to day lives.
EAGLE - here is the witness consciousness, where we need to emotionally be there, and at the same time not emotionally react. There is still the need to hunt for food, that conscious wildness, however now we realize we cannot control things in our lives. This is the Power level - how can I empower myself and you so that we both win?
PHOENIX - this is the Master level: the Eagle bursts into flame and becomes the Phoenix, leaving the survival instinct, raw power. Instinctively moving forward, without questioning why or wanting to control outcomes, feeling the fear yet doing it anyway. Allowing your inner knowing to burst forth, surrender to the Unknown, and have faith that everything turns out exactly as it was Divinely planned to do so - and when!

This cycle of Scorpio is the key to the Life-Death-Rebirth transformation of Pluto (Scorpio's ruler). First we need to identify what behaviour/habit is in need of a makeover. Once we are conscious of it, the next step is to allow it to die, moving through the transformational process of letting go, living without it, meanwhile allowing the new to show itself. The Transformation Process - Initiation Process - Soul Growth in other words.

Take a look at your charts and see where the Sun cycles through the full 30 degrees of Scorpio in your chart - what House(s) of Life Experience bring this theme of Life-Death-Rebirth into your life every year? Remember, the Moon activates this area of your chart every month (I'll discuss this in the upcoming New Moon blog). I look at my chart and see two thirds of the sign of Scorpio resides in my 3rd House of communication, siblings, neighbours, short-distance travel, how I think and learn, and my inner talk. The rest of Scorpio ends in my 4th House of home, my roots, emotional thread of generational behaviours, and how I nurture myself and others.

I will experience the first 10 days of the Sun's visit in Scorpio while travelling in Egypt. Egypt's chart has Scorpio in the 8th and 9th Houses:

8th House of Life Experience - the natural home of Scorpio - seeing the Ego's Shadow relationship within itself; shared resources and money, sexuality, life-death-and taxes topics most people would rather not talk about. Intimate details of everyday life, especially over the long haul. A lot of Transformation for Egypt this year and now. Life, Death and a Rebirth to be sure for the whole country.
9th House of Life Experience - higher learning via philosophy of life and why are we here? plus long distance travel and seeking the truth of our existence while doing so. Interesting set of Life Experience Houses for Egypt this year - I wish them a powerful and life-sustaining transformation and transition.

It will be an interesting mix of awareness and Soul growth for all of us, no matter where in the world we reside. Scorpio is a Fixed water sign - meaning our fixed way of being can be emotionally intuited for change if WE ALLOW IT to be so! Listen to those inner nudges from deep within your Soul for new growth, working with your Ego's Shadow self. Take note of the people and circumstances you invite into your life who are mirroring awareness to you from your Ego's depths. It is all very interesting to 'see' how we attract exactly the people and situations that show us where we need to heal ourselves deep within. The question remains: do you have the courage to go deep, look long enough and let go?

Full Moon in Aries, October 11, 2011

Aries - fire, cardinal, male energy - quick, instinctual, unedited inspiration to move forward in a new direction. This Full Moon on Tuesday occurs at 18 degrees of Aries 24 minutes at 7:06 p.m. PDT - what House of Life Experience in your birth chart will this Full Moon illuminate for you?

I look to my birth chart and find it occurring in the middle of my 8th House of shared money, sexuality, death and taxes - all the topics most people would rather not talk about or deal with - there can be unconscious negativity that needs to be healed, forgiven, let go of. Life, death then rebirth - the transformation process for Soul growth.

This Full Moon in Aries also carries an opposition to the Sun with Saturn sitting right beside it, both in the astrological sign of Libra. How are we taking action to shine re: the framework of our one-on-one relationships? How well are your boundaries working for you within them? Are you saying NO when someone moves past what is comfortable for you personally? Are you willing to meet them halfway to move forward past that comfort zone (especially if it is full of Soul growth and has nothing to do with hurting self or others)? These two planets are illuminating my 2nd House of values, money I make to pay the bills, and my self-worth. What is my one-on-one relationship with money, and what do I value about it? Am I worthy of having more, or less?

A Grand Trine in the fire signs is also activated by this Full Moon in Aries - and the players are:

Full Moon in Aries - at 18 degrees and 25 minutes - emotionally, how do you truly feel about your independent self out in this wide world, and what unedited, inspired action do you intend to take? Is there a rush of energy residing within that is bursting forth to be expressed?
North Node in Sagittarius - at 15 degrees and 49 minutes - our collective Soul consciousness continues to ask us to Seek our Inner Truth, shoot that arrow of inspired energy out into the great unknown to follow its path toward yet another hill beckoning to us in the distance. What hill of inspiration is beckoning you?
Mars in Leo - at 13 degrees and 41 minutes - the sustained burn of fire here asks us to assert ourselves and SHINE as long as we can on that hill we see beckoning us onward.

A Grand Trine tells us of planets lined up in the same element - fire is the element this time - creating an easy, harmonious connection and team willing to work together to accomplish the task at hand OR complacency and laziness if any of us are ignoring the 'fire in the belly' to take action with the inner knowledge gained since the New Moon two weeks prior. Fire is inspirational, creative, spiritual and wanting to move outward. Tamping it down, ignoring it or not allowing this energy to move outward will cause you harm physically, emotionally, spiritually. Allow yourself to SHINE, ASSERT your inner emotions, no matter how scary they may feel for you - don't edit yourself this time. Nor allow other's expectations or philosophies of life to dowse your inner flames. Now is the time to be inspired and to inspire, lead by example and show everyone how it is done.

The North Node, and Mars, in this Grand Trine are also activating my 4th House of home, roots and how I nurture myself, and my 12 House of my Spiritual Self, usually hidden away from others, and any past life information uncovered as required for current understanding and healing. Considering the upcoming travel plans I have, this fiery Grand Trine shall prove to be very enlightening!

The Sabian Symbol for 19 degrees of Aries for this Full Moon is: The magic carpet of oriental imagery. Transcend worry and strife by using your imagination to lift your level of understanding into the mystic, fantastic realm. Be wary not to underestimate the potential power in the most mundane things. Vehicle for transcendence. Elevated view. Transcending problems. Astral travel. If operating from the Shadow: self defeating detachment from the normal world. Losing yourself in flights of fancy. I am about to take a trip of a lifetime 10 days from now - with a group flying to Egypt to tour several of the sacred sites and do ceremony at a few key places, all in aid of raising the planetary energy grid for this new earth we are birthing. Our group have been called to do this; we all signed up for this mission in our Sacred Contracts before we came down here. It is time to shine, assert our destined paths and move on into our collective destinies. The fire in the belly comes from Spirit and that inner knowing that we need to allow ourselves to move to where we need to be in order to be of service for the Highest Good of All. The North Node in Sagittarius this Full Moon is pointing us in that lofty direction to KNOW what we truly believe in for self and this planet as a whole. The great chessboard of life is again moving us around as we position ourselves to be where we were destined to be for October 28, 2011 - the end of the Mayan Calendar timing.

Believe in your independent journey, know you will be surrounded by the right people who support your need to SHINE your Light in the area of the world you are to be in at this time. Others' fears and anxieties cannot hold you back - all of that fear-mongering is just that - Ego excuses to hold us back from moving forward, from going in directions others fear to go. There is nothing to Fear or hold you back from your own inspired next Soulful step - unless you allow it!

We do live in transformational times, and it is up to each of us to transform those fears into inspired action, be where we were always destined to be, and SHINE our Light and Love out into the world and Mother Earth as directed Soulfully to do so.

The Ego's Final Exams...

How's it going out there everyone? Feeling panicky, cranky, fearful and worrying about every little thing? Is your Ego self acting up and out BIG TIME right now, keeping you up late, refusing to meditate, eating junk food, distracting you with feelings of doom and gloom? Are you wondering if you are going crazy more than usual right now? LOL! I laugh because those of us on the "onward and upward" path are being tested, and how, to trust and have faith as we near the end of what used to be.

In so many ways, on so many levels, we are being tested and our Egos are definitely fighting back tooth and nail to grab onto every wee worry, guilt trip, wile and old habit it can to keep us from moving forward! The Moon represents our emotions, how well we listen to our intuition, and how we nurture ourselves. The Moon also represents our daily habits. We are at the midway point to the next Full Moon, with the New Moon now having moved through the sign of Libra all the way into Capricorn, changing into Aquarius tomorrow. As we move closer to that Full Moon in Aries (October 11th) expect these 'final exam' days to heat up more and more!

We are all being tested, and those unconscious daily habits our Ego has snuggled into and kept close by to jump into at a moment's notice of alarm will be showing themselves to us more and more as each day passes. We need to be CONSCIOUS of every feeling, intuition, fear, worry, action, non-action, choice made/not made in a moment-to-moment manner now. I am not kidding - people's fears (via the Ego self) are being brought up to the fore to be seen and heard and dealt with.

We are also being bombarded by others' fears and issues of irrationality! They will project onto us what they don't want to deal with, making it our problem to solve. You have a choice here: are you responsible for their fears and their Ego's habitual ways of dealing with them? Nope! Are you responsible for your own? YES!

The Key to this new wave of consciousness that is upon us is to do the following:

Breathe - breathe - breathe - yoga is good for this, as is walking swiftly or running or other exercise.
Spend as much time out in Nature as you possibly can! Walk amongst the trees, spend time by that lake, river or ocean, breathe in the smells of Nature, take in the sights and sounds of that green world around you!
Do what you can that feeds your Soul self: read, listen to music, journal, meditate, commune with your animals or kids or both. Dance, sing, tone, do some drumming - anything to distract the fears of the Ego self. I like to blow bubbles as often as I can.
Remember WHO you truly are! We are all undergoing these changes and it is for the Good of All right now. Yes, things and businesses we have trusted for decades seem to be disintegrating before our eyes and they have been slowly dying for many years now. This is a fact. At the same time, the new is growing up to replace these old, outmoded ways of doing business, running countries, you name it.
Our Soul's growth needs our attention, daily and moment-to-moment as to HOW and WHERE we are spending our time, consciously! What thoughts are you thinking? What feelings are you feeling? What has your intuition been telling you of late? Have you honoured those gut feelings or allowing your Ego to suppress them with worry, fear, eating, drinking, too much TV etc? Be HONEST with yourself!
Know that we are ALL undergoing this process at the same time! Everyone is experiencing this and the key is to create BALANCE (remember the New Moon was in Libra a week ago) HARMONY and PEACE. Love yourself no matter how awful your Ego self feels about things. Forgive your Ego self for its fears, take 100% responsibility for ALL actions/non-actions taken and move along again.

We can allow the Ego to pin us downward with fear and worry, or we have the free will to choose to be flying high with love and light in our hearts AND minds! Yes the daily grunge of housework can feel like a prison sentence, OR we can "whistle while we work" enjoying the fact we are clearing the energy and the physical space at the same time! It is all about perception, understanding that we are being tested while we move forward into this new consciousness. Note the word used is "consciousness" - how conscious are you being in your life, about yourself right now? Are you breathing? How are you feeling? What is your intuition telling you as your next choice/move/action/word?

If not, why not? No more mindless unconscious living going on here folks! 'Tis time to dust off those tools we've been gathering and STEP UP TO THE PLATE! Sharpen your pencils and write the best damned paper you can for this final exam of dealing with Ego vs Soul. The battle is all but over; for now on it is about how we CHOOSE to decide to live, who is driving the car, and what our Soulful intentions are in doing so. Ego has its place - and always will have. Ego will ALWAYS test us to see how intent we are in wanting positive changes in our daily routines and habits. WAKE UP! Time to smell the coffee and be awake, everyday, in every way we can. Love yourself, forgive yourself, and be, your Soul self, consciously, moment-to-moment.

New Moon in Libra, September 27, 2011

Rain, Rain Go Away! We're not ready for you yet! Here on Vancouver Island we have had more days of rain than sunshine these past 10 days or so. We have just turned into the Fall season as of September 23rd, when the Sun moved into 0 degrees of Libra. Now both the Sun and Moon are together at exactly 4 degrees of Libra as of 4:09 a.m. PDT Tuesday morning.

The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is: A group of young people sit in spiritual communion around a campfire. The keynote: This symbolizes being with others of similar feelings and shared beliefs. There is a common focus here that opens you up to creative and receptive potentials. There may be a feeling of being out there, in the 'wilderness', but remember that you are not alone. Material concerns are left behind - pioneering with like-minded others. If operating from the Shadow Ego: being dependent on others. There does seem to be some 'wilderness' about this New Moon in Libra - we have five planets in Libra and they are:

Mercury conjunct the Sun conjunct the Moon - (at 2 and 4 degrees of Libra) a lot of chatting and processing of information about our feelings and shared beliefs to be sure. The Sun asks us to take some sort of action this New Moon re: a new project or just getting ourselves out there amongst like-minded others! Share, share and share some more. Look around for your Soul groups - we are out there!
Venus conjunct Saturn - (at 15 and 18 degrees of Libra) learning to love love love our limitations and boundaries within self and with our significant others. In other words, unconditional love of each other's quirks and idiosyncracies. Accept who you truly are, as well as those closest to you personally, your clients, partners, friends. Otherwise you risk isolating yourself even more! Get out there and allow Saturn to help you restructure your social network, creating new inroads to 'open you up to creative and receptive potentials'.

Look to your charts to see where all of these planets are activating new starts and beginnings for you - what House(s) are they transiting in your chart? All of them happen to be in my 2nd House of income, self-worth, and what I value in life - asking for balance and harmony and a bit of socializing with 'like-minded others'.

This New Moon stellium of Mercury, Sun and Moon in Libra - (at 2 and 4 degrees of Libra) will encourage us all to talk about the action we feel the need to make. Notice how just talking about it isn't the same as doing it - hence Uranus adding some tension for change. The Libran archetypes are Mediator, Lover, Companion, Judge, Victim, Politician, Counsellor, Coach, Diplomat, Lawyer, Marriage or Husband/Wife.
Uranus (Rx) (at 2 degrees of Aries) - change, suddenly and perhaps drastically (or it may seem to be for others affected by what is changing for you personally) and being somewhat of a Rebel with a cause - independent action ensues. Aries archetypes are the Warrior, Pioneer, Adventurer, Athlete, Hero/Heroine, Intuitive, Daredevil, Survivor, Advocate, Activist and Leader. Could be you need to exercise more, stand up for your rights in a relationship, venture out into the unknown meeting new people, strike the path less taken, listen to your intuition in all decisions, and take the lead. Rash decisions, leaping before intuiting, and wanting to rescue others is not necessarily the best bet here now. Uranus Rx means internal changes that create outward change. How many of you have been rearranging furniture and culling closets and cupboards since the Autumnal Equinox? Clearing the decks of your ship before it sails on to new waters.
Pluto in Capricorn (at 4 degrees of Capricorn 55 minutes) - this slow dance of transformation that Pluto has been doing through all our traditional institutions of law, government, healthcare, education, insurance, pharmacies, etc., since February of 2008 now creates more tension for change within our close relationships as well as what we personally need for our unique independent selves out in the world. I see this T-Square as a pick prying open a nutshell or clamshell that has been tightly closed for many a year. What will be exposed in the process? Will the shell crack and can the pick open it? This dynamic tension-creator will create change - how do you wish it to come about or will you just allow someone else to take the reins? Capricorn is an earth sign, slow moving, yet steady on its course. There are several levels to Capricorn - the Seagoat coming out of the water on to land, climbing up the steep mountains. Some goats will plateau out and give up half-way there. Others are destined to continue climbing, seeking their goals, creating new goals to seek. Moving ever onward and upward. Which goat are you?

The Capricorn archetypes are: Father, Chronos, Saturn Victim, Entrepreneur, Businessman, Strategist, Competitor, Disciplinarian, Authority, Tyrant, CEO or Executive. Time (Chronos) will tell all as we start gearing down in this second to last Mayan Pulse leading up to October 28th. We began the 13 Universal Underworld day/night pulses way back in March and now we near the end. Each day/night has lasted 18 days - which, incredibly, used to take 1 year or 20 years to complete during the Galactic Underworld and Planetary Underworld phases, respectively. Time has sped up; we are transitioning quickly and it is necessary now to be ever conscious, moment-to-moment of each thought, word, action you create.

Look inward, in your heart centres, intuit what each step is to be, and go for it! Jump and take that leap of faith upward on your particular mountain. Maybe you need to leap from one mountain to another. Whatever it is, listen to your Soul's urgings and allow those inner grumblings for change to manifest now. Time is running out and we all need to be where we need to be, and with whom, or by ourselves, now. Make your own choices for your Highest Good. No one else can do this for you. We each have our unique gifts to share with the world - are you ready and prepared to share yours?

Autumnal Equinox September 23, 2011

The days have swiftly become darker this past month and now the Sun prepares to enter 0 degrees of Libra Friday, September 23rd at 2:05 a.m. PDT. This announces the Autumnal Equinox, the day of equal hours of light and dark - the opposition point (or middle point of the year) from where we started at the Vernal Equinox in March.

Libra is all about balance, harmony, peace, stasis of some sort. What House of Life Experience captures these themes in your birth chart? In mine 0 degrees of Libra resides in my 2nd House of values, self-worth, self-esteem and the income I bring in to pay the bills every month. Interestingly, the 2nd House is where the sign of Taurus naturally resides, and both Libra and Taurus are ruled by the planet Venus. Currently, Venus is at 10 degrees of Libra 25 minutes, also in my 2nd House at the moment. We are all having a visit from this Goddess of Love, ensuring we are indeed in alignment with our heart centres rather than our Egos.

The other interesting situation for this Autumnal Equinox is the Finger of God or Yod formation pointing to both Mars and the Moon in Leo (2 and 4 degrees of Leo 37 and 5 minutes). Something fateful or meant to be will be required from all of us re: how well we are centred in our Hearts rather than our Egos tomorrow. Mars asks us to assert ourselves, and the Moon asks us to listen to our intuition and follow our emotions. The other players creating this Yod formation are:

Chiron Rx at 1 degree of Pisces 44 minutes AND Neptune at 28 degrees of Aquarius 43 minutes, also Rx (or Retrograde). Our hypersensitivity to the pain and suffering of others and their emotional stuff is opening up our Divine connection with compassion and love, yet asking us to NOT take on others' stuff emotionally. We can be there for others, yet not rescue them. We can stand by them without bleeding along with them. Aquarius teaches us to be unemotionally involved at this time. Both Chiron and Neptune are Rx, meaning this is all about how we personally deal (or not) with the emotions of others. We cannot stand in the way of others' growth, nor our own any longer. We can support one another, yet the work and process is individual to each of us. No more rescuing or propping up or taking on for others.
Pluto at 4 degrees of Capricorn 54 minutes. Pluto continues to peel back that carpet to see what we haven't wanted to take a look at re: our integrity about material gains. How are you building your life these days? Is the ultimate goal on the $$$s or on the service/work you intend for the good of all? Huge transformation continues with Pluto traversing Capricorn until 2024 - all our traditions are being subjected to close scrutiny and ultimate death to create a new birth of greater integrity. Being rich and having stuff isn't the goal anymore people! The true goal is ensuring you are aligning yourself to what your heart and intuition are telling you. The service and how we do it is far more important than the paycheque - believe me, the Angels and Universe are willing and able to assist on the money part for us if only we TRUST and have FAITH to ALLOW them to do so!

As we put all three of these items together, we need to listen and take assertive action (Mars) to how we feel and intuit (Moon) what we need to let go of for positive transformation of material goals (Pluto in Capricorn). Pluto is working on us by creating inner tension with the energies of Chiron and Neptune (both Rx) to ensure we are each seeing into and listening to our Divine heart's desire. Venus, the ruler of Libra, traversing Libra at the same time the Sun (our Soul's active principle) enters this sign, ensures we are indeed coming from a state of Love. Nothing less is called for now. Get out of your monkey Ego minds!

Libra is all about our close one-on-one relationships. How well are you allowing your heart to open to these people and how honestly are you allowing your true self to shine in those relationships? What more conversations and issues of equality (Libra) needs to be addressed here? What have you allowed to go unspoken up until now? Will there be a letting go of people in your life because the time has come to move on to where they cannot follow?

Think about all you have undergone since the March Vernal Equinox and ask yourself this: Am I truly heading toward my heart's desire or am I still allowing others to dictate where I am and what I do for my life? We can still be in close relationships with others; however, we cannot give up our goals and dreams just because we have known one another for decades. History isn't an excuse that works anymore. It is an Ego BS story to keep us from moving forward as our Soul wants us to.

Uranus Rx at 2 degrees of Aries 41 minutes is creating unexpected and sudden changes within as it opposes the Sun entering Libra tomorrow. What issues of being independent of significant others have you not addressed until now? There may be a severing of the ties that bind - be they marital, familial, friends or partners. A clear letting go must ensue for all of us if need be. We are all on the same chessboard of Life Experience, and we the pieces are about to move forward on our true destined paths. Who or what are you allowing to block your forward process?

Take a good hard and heartfelt look at the obstacles and excuses your Ego is putting in front of you for not wanting to break free of the habits or history of the past. Uranus will ensure it happens whether or not we decide for ourselves first to do so. The North Node is now at 17 degrees of Sagittarius 51 minutes, still wanting us to take stock on top of our wee hill, looking back to where we have been, where we are right now, and what yonder hill beckons us on. There is one, shining brightly on the horizon. Do you have the courage and Faith and Trust to follow your heart's desire?

Feel your way forward, honour your emotions, especially Ego's fears and anger about change and moving forward, take assertive action, and be prepared for the sudden changes that come from letting go of the old and outmoded past. This is it folks! Time to choose once and for all WHERE you want to be come Saturday. Like I said already, if you don't make your intentions clear, someone or something else will do it for you (and most likely not in the way you originally intended).

Full Moon in Mt Shasta Revelations

What a trip I had down in Mt Shasta, California! Same heat wave we've had here on Vancouver Island (high 90's to 100 degrees) with a bit of rain overnight the last few nights I was there. It was a magical, mystical and life-changing time. I have included some of my pictures herein.

I conducted a Full Moon Ceremony Monday night outside (in the rain!) with seven other women. Two of us were Piscean and with this Full Moon in Pisces we both felt the energies. For me, energy-wise, I was totally wiped out. I could tell with this Full Moon there was a passing away of the Piscean energies of the last 2000 years (the Piscean Age). A shift definitely occurred during the Full Moon ceremony as well as the next day when our "team" concluded three intense days of connecting with our Galactic selves, and healing Mother Earth's energy line matrix via sound/toning and activating a new portion of the new energy grid that is being built around the world (the old energy grid will totally dissolve and be deactivated as of October 28, 2012).

We have had seven earthquakes since this activation and Mother Earth is continuing to release the old via these quakes. The sign of Pisces (where the Full Moon resided) pertains to our Divine connection, what is hidden and needs to be revealed about our deep inner self, as well as honing in on what our true service is all about. The passing away of the old Piscean energies means that we are now embracing our true Galactic Divine selves (pointed out via the North Node currently in Sagittarius which is squaring or causing massive tension with this Full Moon in Pisces). The North Node points in the direction the collective planetary Soul wishes to move into (with possible Ego resistance ensuing!).

And remember that Earth Grand Trine formation as well - Jupiter pushing us beyond our safe and secure boundaries, Pluto unmasking our integrity issues, and Mercury helping us to process all that we have undergone since March (Vernal Equinox). These Earth signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) most likely brought on the ensuing earthquakes, bringing up out of Mother Earth that which needed to be released energetically. A trine formation means working together as a team with ease and grace. It was all meant to be.

I was totally wiped out by Tuesday afternoon energetically and am still recovering from all the events of Mt Shasta. I have a darker hair colour and a bit more grey around the edges of my temples. Those of us conducting the ceremonies in Mt Shasta underwent a shamanic death of some sort, rebirthing into levels that reveal more of our true Soul selves. The old Piscean Age is now waning away (just like this Full Moon), and we are conducting ourselves more energetically within the new Aquarian Age energies: co-creating our Future Selves via interaction with community, as a team, feeling our way forward via our Heart Centres, intuition and listening to our feelings.

Everyone on the planet will feel a quickening of change in their lives, aligning with our Soul contracts to be where we need to be when we need to be there - and not before! Trust that you will know what you need to know when you need to know it - and not before! Everything happens for a reason. My guides and Angels keep telling me this nearly every day. They know the Big Picture (Sagittarius) more than we do. Hence the Trust and Faith challenges happening to us all.

The lenticular clouds that surround the top of Mt Shasta from time to time are there for a reason. We are definitely being guided by higher realms of beings that are here to help us all. The fear-mongering that the media, TV shows and movies are feeding everyone right now is intended to keep people off their centre and unbalanced. Do not allow yourself to dive back into the fear - the Ego will gladly go there if we allow it to. The more we co-create with love and light from our heart centres, trusting our intuition (Pisces) and inner knowingness, the more synchronicity and gifts we will receive. I have noticed an increase in synchronicity and gifts already on my trip back from Mt Shasta - four flights it took to return to the Island and there were two instances where I needed to make a change in flight timing. It all happened quickly and with much ease and grace (with very little extra money spent to do so). To allow this to happen all I did was listen to the urgent nudging from within to ask for earlier flights and voila! The way was cleared and magically so. I kept meeting happy, helpful airline people to assist in this 'test' and am very grateful to all of them (baggage handlers on up to ticket reps) from two different airlines and countries! Very cool indeed!

This is key: the coming days and months will be more about cooperation, team-players, coming from your Soul self rather than your Ego self. Ego likes to control and have power over others; the Soul lovingly assists self and others. Hence the split between the worlds now - we can plainly 'see' which camp people are operating from and where we want to work from as well.

This Piscean Full Moon was a major shape-shifting timing, revealing a whole new era to come. Keep grounded, connected heartfully, be grateful and allow the new to show itself when it is meant to do so. The Ego likes to MAKE things happen - we cannot push the envelope anymore. It is all about allowing and patiently waiting. We take the first step forward by our conscious intention, the rest is brought forward by our guides and Angels. Trust, believe in who you truly are, and the rest will follow with much ease and grace!
