James Crane worked on the 101st floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. He is blind so he has a golden retriever named Daisy.

After the plane hit 20 stories below, James knew that he was doomed, so he let Daisy go, out of an act of love. She darted away into the darkened hallway.

Choking on the fumes of the jet fuel and the smoke James was just waiting to die. About 30 minutes later, Daisy comes back along with James' boss, who Daisy just happened to pick up on floor 112

On her first run of the building, she leads James, James' boss, and about 300 more people out of the doomed building.

But she wasn't through yet, she knew there were others who were trapped. So, highly against James' wishes she ran back in the building.

On her second run, she saved 392 lives. Again she went back in. During this run, the building collapses. James hears about this and falls on his knees into tears.

Against all known odds, Daisy makes it out alive, but this time she is carried by a firefighter. "She led us right to the people, before she got injured" the fireman explained.

Her final run saved another 273 lives. She suffered acute smoke inhalation, severe burns on all four paws, and a broken leg, but she saved 967 lives. Daisy is the first civilian Canine to win the Medal of Honor of New York City.

I hope you enjoyed this story. I thought it was terrific. Pass it on to all animal lovers ... Remember love is to be shared to be multiplied..

This brings me to an off topic question of mine. How can any religion say that dogs don't have souls?

Dear Honda

Today I wrote a letter to Honda from the bottom of my heart. The reason I'm sharing it on my blog is because I'm hoping our experience can save someone's life. Not only is Honda a good, reliable vehicle that saves a ton of money on gas, it can save you from losing your life in a horrible situation. I hope people will consider a Honda as their future vehicle.

Dear Honda,
Two years ago I won my mom a Honda Insight Hybrid. For the past 2 years, that car has been her best friend and our family's most prized possession. Unfortunately last week, someone ran a red light and totalled her car. Noone knows how she walked away from the horrible crash but I think I do. I think your company and the safety of the car saved her life. So I wanted to write to you and say thank-you for saving one of the best mothers in the world. From now on in our futures, we want to keep a Honda a part of our family. I don't know if we'll be able to afford a Honda as wonderful as our 2010 but I know if it's a Honda, we'll be safe. Lots of love.

Angel In The Clouds

There's been so many tragedies in the world lately it's hard to see the beauty. God works in mysterious ways though and if you really open your eyes, you can see it. Someone caught this picture of the clouds on their cell phone. Some may say it's just a coincidence the clouds shaped into an angel. I personally don't think so. I think God used the clouds to show us his angels are watching over us no matter what's happening around us.

I've done some serious brain storming about how to get a wheelchair van and I think this may be my only hope.

To buy a new one is around $70,000 ... can't do that.

To buy a used van that works is around $30,000 ... can't do that.

To buy a brand new Dodge Grand Caravan (taxes included) would come to $24,500 and March of Dimes would convert it into a wheelchair van for FREE!

Even though that's the cheapest option, I can't do it on my own. Without a wheelchair van, life is difficult. My muscles have deteriorated to the point that I'm 24/7 care, making it impossible for public transportation. Although I've lost my muscles, my spirit is very much alive. If I had a wheelchair van, I could go to the doctors, back to school, and best of all, see my friends and family who I miss deeply. So I had an idea! If 24,500 people give me $1, they'll be giving me back the life I so desperately need. Please invite everyone you know.

Sunstruck by Mayra Calvani Review

I got a chance to review one of my new favorite books called Sunstruck by Mayra Calvani. This book literally had me captivated from the very first page. I'm not even exaggerating, this book was extremely difficult to stop reading.

Based around a character named Daniella, you are taken on a mysterious adventure with a psychedelic twist. She's surrounded by crazy artists, scary beings and some mysterious character who slashes the zorro sign on the buttocks of women who wear miniskirts at night. Surrounded by magic mushrooms and harsh drugs, Daniella tries to understand not only her own life, but the lives of the people around her too.

Although this book is fiction, all the historical facts and the famous historical people are real. Along with enjoying this book, I also learned a lot. Especially because the facts were so interesting, I felt the need of finding more information. I highly recommend this book to absolutely everyone. I really hope that one day, Sunstruck will become a movie.
