can`t upload dreams

seems when ever i try to upload a dream over 20 MB they fail,i don`t know wether this is an IE7 problem or a wincustomize one but it`s very frustrating.

the smaller dreams upload fine.

if anybody has any words of wisdom please let me know

and new forum posts don`t show up on the dream homepage,the latest i have are from febuary

Getting MPEG file out of .dream in DeskScapes 2

I'm making a collection of flash previews for a set of dream files (I don't have the original mpeg files). I know in v1 you could find some directory with the mpeg's in it after you run the dream, but I'm not finding that anywhere in deskscapes 2. Can someone please tell me where it is? There is nothing illegal about extracting the mpeg if anyone's worried about that, once you have the dream it's just a different form of the file.

Dream Stops working

After I opened something in fullscreen, for exaple Internet Explorer, my dream stops wroking.

It becomes a static wallpaper, and the only thing I can do is to reload it in the personalization window. Even when I press right click, it shows: Pause DreamScene, but it is already "paused". Some dreams work perfectly, some don't (froggy dream for example doesn't works).

Any suggestions?

Problem with Dream display

I had been using a static background for a couple of week on my Laptop due to some work I had to do with it,
and yesterday wanted to start using DeskScapes again (paid version).

But when I tried to load up one of my Dreams, I found that the video has a blue tint to it.
So I tried another one, this time a fireplace Dream, the same thing, blue fire.

I have now spent the ENTIRE day trying to find out what the problem is, and trying to fix it,
and am nowhere...!!!

alright...

I tried to submit a dream a little while ago and was told it bordered on copyright issues so it could not be Published.. I didn't mind that I totally understand and will WILLINGLY Happily follow Copyright laws..

what got me was later I saw a dream featuring the same game that I tried to feature.. that hurt and kinda stung my emotions some...

I just Like my "Games" and would LOVE to be able to see more dreams featuring some of my favorite games....

Nightmares is a small application created to test dynamic dreams. It runs them in a window, allowing you to debug them easily or to record a preview video.

You can set the window size (default is 800x600), chose an output file and FourCC code for the output video.

It currently only runs unprotected dreams: the dreams that come with DeskScapes will work, but any dynamic dream that you bought won't.

Program to automatically change .Dream wallpapers

I was curious as to if there is a program available that would automatically change your .Dream backgrounds on some type of a schedule? (Example: every 30 minutes or so) I have so many great .Dreams downloaded that I find myself changing them myself all the time. I thought it might be cool to have a program or application that would automatically change them?

You could upload a folder that just has your favorite .Dreams in it? So if you just wanted 5 or 6 .Dreams to revolve you could, or if...

just have a few questions about deskscapes

1 how can i get deskscapes to run at pc start up

2 some of the old deskscapes products dont work on the 2.0 version when will this be fixed

3 some of the deskscapes products dont show the desktop icons is there any way i can get the icons to show on the desktop

4 last thing if there is not a setting for getting deskscapes to run on pc start up and show icons then i think this option should be added

Dreamscapes 2.0 for Vista Ultimate?

Hey,

I have Windows Vista Ultimate, and want to use time triggered dreams. I goto the download section for Dreamscapes and there are 2 choices to download. The first choice appears to be Dreamscapes 2.0 for all versions of Vista. The second choice says "For Ultimate Users" and says it's version 1.02. I can't use the premium time triggered dreams for 1.02 can I?

My question is: Shouldn't the link for "Ultimate Users" be updated to the new 2.0 file? Do they want me to pay for the Dream...

I don't know what's going on here but I just bought this program and it's not working now. I had this same problem when I started the computer the other day and figured it was because first I had the free version and then I installed the paid full "enhanced" version. I uninstalled and reinstalled the enhanced version and everything worked fine for a day. Turned on my computer today and the desktop is the default Sony Vaio desktop. I have a cheap Aiptek HD 1080P Camcorder. I'd like to use it to make Dreamscenes. The problem is the output is an HD MOV file. Is there a way to convert it to a dreamscene and maintain the resolution it was shot in?

areo experience and win monkey production sound loop

I had this problem and eventually was told (correctly) that it was an error/problem with dreamscapes.

Every 5 seconds and voice came over saying "This has been and aero expierence and win monkey production" and the sound looped over and over again, even after a hard restart. I was terrified that I'd been infected with a vius. I was NOT.

The solution was to to simply change my current dreamscape and the loop ended nicely and has yet to return.

After reinstalling windows it shows the following error when I try to activate a dream: "The Desktop Window Manager ias not running. DeskScape requires the Desktop Window Manager (uxsms) service to be running to function.

But I cant see anything that will help. I had it worke before but after reinstall it´s not.

I just want to tell you that trhe problems is solved. I was in to services and stopped and then started teh desktop window manager.

I created some "dreams" but they have the .avi format. This is not supported by deskcapes.
Is that future comming or do i have to convert to wmv.

In that case. has somebody a good convertor. Free, no ads, no quality loose, etc

I just installed vista and wanted to use the deskscapes but every time I try to install and run a dream I get a message Desktop windows manager needs to be installed and running. and it refers me to dream.wincustomize.com What is it and how do I get and run it? Any help would be great.

All of my wallpapers download to the default location on the C drive. They are all in exactly the same location, yet some show up and some do not. Any advice would be appreciated.

Disappearing Dreams

Weird problem: I download dreams and they disappear! Initially they were in the Deskscape window (where you choose what you wish to do...ie, get more, choose a Dream, etc.). After a while I come back, and they aren't there anymore. The default ones are, but the downloads are not.
I download with FF3, and instruct to open with the appropriate program.
I can locate shortcuts, and such, but why aren't the dreams where they're supposed to be?
