How to make multiple docks?

hello

i have just installed the objectdock plus, and hided my taskbar i was wondering if there should be a space at the bottom where the taskbar use to be? is there any way to make it full screen? like i want firefox and the other app's to cover the bottom also

Building an OD Theme

I had purchased OD Plus awhile back and looked at it now and then but, didn't do much with it. I know it's popular and with the recent updates I thought I should try to do more with it.

I worked my way through changing the background but the icons remain as default. I'm using the Liquidox Theme which I purchased for Object Desktop which I really like and I would like to make use of all the icons it comes with. Is there anyway to simply copy the icons to the right direc...

Hi

I have a tabbed dock that is always on top and autohides. My question is it somehow possible to through e.g; WinAPI (SendMessage or PostMessage) to make my dock show it self without actually clicking on it?

Docklet or Shortcut to "Replace" Language Toolbar

I've hidden my taskbar and prefer to use my ObjectDock to launch apps, etc. I'd like a docklet or shortcut on my Dock to replace the function of the language toolbar that I have/had on my Windows taskbar. That is, I'd like a docklet or shortcut I could click on to change the language on my computer between English and Russian. Any suggestions?

I removed the Vista Taskbar so O.D. has all the icons & shortcuts.

Docklet for Windows Search?

Hi. I'm looking for a Docklet, similar to the Google Search Docklet, which I can use to invoke Windows Desktop Search. I'm not looking for just a shortcut to an app, but rather a Docklet to add to ObjectDock that would let me click on it, producing a search box into which I can type a search term and click Go (or something similar) to invoke the actual search by Windows Desktop Search.

Any suggestions?

So, I've been playing with ObjectDock a bit and decided to upgrade to OD Plus.

I'd seen screenshots with docks flying out horizontally from the left and right, but try as I might I couldn't figure out how they were doing it - all my docks were stacked vertically when on the left/right and horizontally when on top/bottom.

I go through every single setting in the ObjectDock Properties dialog, all the right-click menus on the dock itself - nothing.

OK, I give up... I've searched the forums and read the basics. Where do you find the 'docklets' folder? And where do you put the docklet .dll files?

Trying to install a volume control docklet I found in the gallery and it says to put the icons in the docklets folder. It also includes a .dll, but doesn't say where that goes...

i have a couple of ideas for docklets that i want to implement, but i have very little experience with c++.

i downloaded the sdk but i didnt even succeed compiling the examples that came along with the sdk......

so bottom line, just looking for a couple of most simple instructions like what i should have installed and what is my next move. about the programming..i hope i could manage that.

CPUOrb always showes -1% CPU

I have installed ObjectDock and the docklets SysStats and CPUOrb at my Desktop and at my Laptop. It works fine at my DELL Laptop including an Intel Processor. My XPC Shuttle desktop (AMD 64Bit) always showes -1 for the CPU, the memory display is shown correct. I found a comment #4 in the description of CPUOrb at wincustomize indicating the same error. Is there a solution available for that problem?

Hello everyone, and thanx for contributing your appreciated talent! I have a simple problem, I hope.
I've just started to use ObjectDock and discovered Cavan1's SeaBlue2, which I downloaded. But how do I apply those awesome SeaBlue2 icons? I am able to locate the SeaBlue2 DL in my OD Backgrounds folder, but cannot locate the icons. no temp overlay in weather docklet UPDATED

ObjectDock weather docklet has no temperature overlay. Mouse-over shows proper info including temp, but fly-outs show no temperatures, either.

I have removed and reinstalled docklet, but no change. Closing and reopening ObjectDock, also no change. Any ideas?

Running WinXP SP3, OD v1.90 Build 534.

Adding AutoHide Button to RocketDock

Hi all, I find myself clicking this in the menu quite frequently. Switching it on and off AutoHiding because RocketDock at times overlaps programs such as VLC or gets in the way of program menus.

Since such things as the RocketDock clock is possible, wouldn't it be possible to make a button with an icon in the Dock that would make it hide? Having to drop down the menu from time to time quickly gets annoying, and makes it seem like I constantly have to costumize the Dock in order to use it...

I'm having problems with my tabs in object dock. I see all these screenshots of nice looking tabbed dock but I can't config mine to look like it for some reason. I'm trying to get mine to look kinda like this

Tabbed Docks moving from it's place after playing several games.

So every time I play some games, the Tabbed Docks just moves from it's place and I have to move it back. I believe it might be a resolution problem, but I wont select other resolutions, these are the best for me.
Useing the "lock dock from dragging" doesn NOT work.
Any other help? Thanks.
