Address Book Corruption in Outlook Express 6

Hello I've been using OE6 on my laptop for the last 4 years without any issues. I have about 16.000 emails in my .dbx folders (in total, distirbuted under several folders etc.) Currently, my address book gets corrupted ıonce every week. I have to erase it and restore it from back up and then import from another address book to make it work again.When this problem occurs, OE6 does not allow me to create new email messages etc. Has this happened to anyone else be...

CNN has an article about Windows 7 up, which MS promises will be in early beta in 2009 and for sale in 2010. This feels like the 98-Me cycle all over again: release a version of Windows that has more bugs than a rotting corpse and almost immediately thereafter release another that fixes a lot of those bugs but does little else. If this is actually released in 2010, I can't imagine anyone having an incentive to upgrade an existing computer system to Vista now.
