They are definately my biggest hobby. You could say that I am a very hardcore gamer. I have played WAY more FPS or RPG than I have RTS. The strange thing is that I would say I definately enjoy playing RTS more than shooters or role playing or whatever. The reason i have trouble playing games like starcraft and other fast paced games is because i feel like if i "die" or lose or whatever I feel like all the work I had frantically put into the game for the past 20 minutes is ruin...

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-07T16:17:41</pubDateParsed>
Why I have trouble playing starcraft.

So I just got Knights of the old republic and had a blast. Yea the game was somewhat dated, and having the two black bars on the sides of my screen (no wide screen res and I don't want a distorted image) was a bit of a pain. But the game really rocked.

So I get KOTOR2... and the game is woefully buggy and incomplete. This immediately made me think about how COMPLETE galciv2 is. How twilight of arnor was not rushed for Christmas. But will instead be released when its ready.

Luckily my exper...

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-05T18:50:40</pubDateParsed>
KOTOR2, another unfinished game

I've never been one for serious racing games. I guess its mainly because its hard to enjoy them using a keyboard on a PC, and the console systems I own are all Nintendo which means I don't really have a chance to play them there either.

Then for some reason I had the desire to try and play some more racing games. Starting with Trackmania Nations Forever, I soon desired to try something a little more realistic. Perhaps if they offered a $5 discount on the full version game from digital downloading and an exclusive developer interview/editor tutorial, this would be a little better. As it stands, it seems like a gimmick greedily designed to charge consumers twice.

If you have an opinion, state what your opinion is and give a short explanation.

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-05T04:42:53</pubDateParsed>
If You Have An Opinion On The Price Of The Full Version SPORE Creature Editor, Click Here.

Elona is a wonderful Japanese (with an English option) rogue-a-like (CRPG-style game with similarities to Rogue, a sub-breed of roguelikes) with wonderful graphics, music, and gameplay.
