Account Expired Message after renewing

I recently renewed my Object Desktop after it had expired in early June. Impulse will not allow me to update the registration no matter what I do-I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, removed and re-added the registration for OD several times and still the same "Expired ref:3" message. I put in a ticket on the 29th of June and have gotten no response whatsoever. My credit card has been charged. This is getting ridiculous!

I just renewed my object desktop early on the websight with serials it has my 2013 date but I can not get impluse to update I even took out the code for object desktop and readded it and it still says 2012 how long does it take to update on impluse. it is the same serial number for 2012 and 2013 thanks

[CLOSED] Full Tiles is not activated

Hi,

I have made the payment for the Full tiles product.

I received in the download section of my stardock account the Tiles Setup.exe files to install (there is also a serial number)

I downlad this file and install it, But even when I go in the "Add features" section of the product, and I enter my login/pwd, none of the advanced feature is activated and my soft is not recognized as the full tiles product : it is exactly as if I add the free version?

Any ideas?

Tiles Problem in some areas on shortcuts...

There is an area you can use to insert shortcuts like tools on the lower side of the Tiles menu, but if you use alot of shortcuts like myself i created a Games menu and all games are there i have like 20 or so... The problem is if you click the Icon on the lower part and there is a shortcut under it... it will run the program under it not the one intended heres an example on a screenshot...

DesktopX 3.5: Odd saving locations

I saved my .desktop in the default folder presented by DesktopX when I go to save theme.

It shows me this in that folder if I view it again via the save desktop dialogue.

Notice the desktop files appear but have a funny looking icon?

If I browse to that folder using Explorer, I see

The files appear to be gone.

A search on my c:\ found the files here: C:\Users\3r5m\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\Themes

DesktopX Beta: Export/Saving stops working

Hi, every now and then DesktopX Beta 3.96 stops exporting to .dxpack or saving .desktop.

dxpacks, the final FINISH button does nothing and the window remains open.

desktops the message box saying 'successful' appears, but no file is created.

If I clear the currenttheme folder, and start a new desktop, and put one object in it, the behaviour persists.

If I uninstall and restart, and manually remove entries from registry and folders for DesktopX, then reinstall, the p...

Tiles app problem

hello i just installed Tiles app and it seems that the app slow down right click menu the menu show up slowly when tiles active and its go back to normal once i close the app

and there is another problem with the app in auto-hide mode if autohide mode is active the app will not show up if moved the mouse and hover in the hidden app location

my OS : windows 7 x64

i hope there is and update version coming soon to fix this issue

Tiles: Missing all menu text + configuration menu text

As it says.

The running tasks show text, the shortcuts show text, but the skin text and configuration menu text does not appear/show/work.

Perhaps there is a missing font?

I have only installed the stardock free version, no previous betas.

I would really like to use/buy this product, but I cant see any text so... cant config it at all.

I received tiles as part of the Object Desktop bundle. Does this version not include multimonitor support and the various other options? I renewed my bundle because I thought I was getting the full version. Do I now need to spend an additional ten dollars?

OD not showing up in My Downloads after buying

I bought Object Desktop about an hour ago and got the billing notification send to me, but I can't download it.

Paypal confirms the purchase, but OD still isn't in My Downloads.

What should I do and/or what is happening??

DesktopX Snap-To-Grid

I recently bought Object Desktop and installed DesktopX 3.5 that comes with it. One of the things I'd like to do is to use snap-to-grid in order to align certain Widgets and/or Objects. I found this when Googling: http://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/tutorial/user/dxconfig/conf-dx.htm

However, I can't seem to find these settings in my DesktopX 3.5 installation. I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit by the way. Am I missing something?

Themes causing toggle boxes to be invisible

Hello, I am running windows7 64bit. I have an nvidia quadro fx card. I have the latest edition of object desktop.

My problem:

Whenever I skin (using theme manager or windowblinds) toggle boxes and such become invisible. The toggle boxes, radial buttons, all of those things do not show up. When I unload the skin, the boxes (etc) show up again. And sometimes RIGHT after skinning they will still be visible. But within minutes they are no longer visible.

2 computers doesnt work

I purchased objectdock a long time ago.

I used it on my laptop. Now that i have a computer, i decided to instal it. from what i read, I could install objectdock on 2 computers but i may be wrong.

I put in the serial code and it said that it is already registered to another account.

If i cant use it on one or more computers, who do i unregister it from my laptop so that it can be installed on my pc.

Wrong Version Listed on my apps

Using the new method of downloading and installing your apps.

DesktopX Pro 3 is SUPPOSED to be v 3.50.018, however the actual file downloaded is 4.00.017. Please fix this as I refuse to use that worthless version.

The non-pro version is the correct download however.

Logon Studio wont start ,I get this error message "A device attached to the system is not functioning". I have Windows 7 Ultimate. What can I do to fix the problem...Tried uninstalling and re installing logon studio,but it didn't help...

What about a Stardock Exposé clone?

I use "switcher" which is great but is quite outdated so it stops working from time to time, plus it has some minor flickering issues.

I think Stardock could do a really nice Exposé clone given that the company has quite some experience in the Aero modding area.

Exposé is realy useful and visually neat if you ask me, much more than any 3D flipbook or any other task switcher alternative. Is just so easy to go to the corner of the screen to invoke it. ...

Product Activation could not write the activation signature

New Win7 x64 rig. OD subscriber. D/L'd & installed my apps from the store. Ran WB, Fences & Tweak7 without any problems, each accepted my OD license key & activated post-haste.

Went to run SKS7 & got the above message when I clicked the 'Activate' button. Anyone know what the fix is, before I submit a ticket? I know, I'm lazy.

Hi,

I bought a Object Desktop subscription on the 16th. It did not show up under My Downloads. I immediately created a Support Ticket. On the 21st I got an answer that the problem was fixed. The software now shows up under My Downloads.

I downloaded WB and installed it. Upon starting the program a activation screen pops up. What am I supposed to enter there? All the software components show [No serial number required] as well as the Object Desktop entry itself.

I have updated my Support...

I for one would love a workstation/expose that Ubuntu and Mac OS have. That is a great feature and it helped me in productivity. I hate having a messy workspace, especially on a laptop. I have even submitted a support ticket immediately to StarDock and they have not even bothered to reply.

Should I contact my credit card company or should I see if they will answer the telephone?

Renewing Object Desktop / Wincustomize subscriptions

Well everything's said in title: i renewed a few days ago (wonder why in fact ... ) my Object Desktop & Wincustomize subscriptions (ending 09/05 & 09/23) & that ugly & silly Impulse software (yep i always considered it as a disaster for users who just don't care of games ) still don't show the new ending dates.

What's going on with this ??

Apart of that i was not able to renew through Impulse ==> it brings be to a wrong web page ...
