Desktopx Theme wallpaper Not working

I have DesktopX 3.2 and have downloaded several themes from here and a few of them the wallpaper loads to the desktop but once the theme and desktopx has finished loading the theme you can not see the wallpaper unless you unload desktopx and view the main screen. Others it doesn't load the wallpaper at all.

How can I fix this where the wallpaper can be seen?

Stand-Alone Sidebar Gadgets???

Just curious to hear if anyone out there has successfully exported anything as a stand-alone sidebar gadget and had it work on another system without DesktopX installed. I just installed the 3.5 Pro release, created a simple object with images that swap out using the mouse-away, mouse-over states, and exported as a stand-alone sidebar gadget. It works fine on my DesktopX Pro system, but not on my laptop without DesktopX. Both are running 32-bit Vista with SP1.

I had put a desktopX gadget on screen near the edge of my desktop and had it run on windows startup. A few days ago I noticed it wasn't on screen after a reboot. But I couldn't "start it back up" again -- if I clicked on it, hourglass woudl spin and then nothing. I checked the task manager and see that it is running but I can't get it to display. I suspect it is somwhere "off screen" but don't know how to reset it coordinates.

DesktopX Crashes after reboot

Everytime I reboot my laptop (running Vista) DesktopX crahses and I have to uninstall and then reinstall. it will work great until I reboot again and then it stops working. What do I need to do to get this issue resolved. Thanks in advance for the help.

There is a known issue at the moment with the DesktopX System.Ping() command. Do not attempt to use this as it will crash DesktopX.

I just thought I might write this to gather some info on the recent problems with my favorite app. DesktopX. I have been hearing about various problems with DX lately. Some are having trouble with disappearing themes, some with just parts missing, etc. Richard Mohler mentioned whether DX is even worth the trouble. I updated DX not too long ago and it was missing a lot of plugins. I have a tester for my themes, Wizard1956, and he had problems with the recycle bin not even showing up in the themes...

Is is possible to call up the Start Menu with a DX object?

OD+ has a built-in docklet that will call up the Vista start menu, but a DX object does not seem to have the option to change its type to something with that functionality. I can change the object from 'layer' to 'shortcut' but have been unable to find a way to make a 'shortcut' send a keystroke (i.e. the 'Windows' key) that would call up the Start Menu, like pressing the Windows key would.

Has anyone had the problem with widgets and objects placement on the screen switch to 0,0 when a new window is opened? This happens with me using DesktopX 3.5.0059 and a dual monitor display. I also noticed that when widgets are imported into DesktopX, the DesktopX popup menu on the taskbar icon switches to a widget menu and no longer controls the main DesktopX screen. Widgets don't show in ObjectBar 2

I'm using the trial version of ObjectBar 2, and modifying the Vista bar that comes with it. But I can't get any DesktopX Widgets to show up in it, other than the few that came with the ObjectBar trial.

When I try to add a basic widget like Sticky Notes that didn't come with the trial, it creates a small space for it but the space is blank. The widget also doesn't show up in the DesktopX list of loaded widgets, like it should. All of the widgets work fine outside of ObjectBar though. ...

Hey y'all, long time reader, first time poster.

I'm doing a little experimenting and can't quite seem to get past this. The idea is to create a hidden object that has most of my code and make calls to that object when I need to access my functions or class objects. I know I can call functions from the hidden object.

-un controleur d'objet "pomme" qui controle un groupe combiné nommé "menubase" qui ouvre plusieur sous-menus/dossiers.
-les propriétes du groupe combiné nommé "menubase" sont réglés sur "popup->menu (fermer par une action)".

mon problème est que lorsque un sous-menu souvre c'est tout le groupe "menubase" qui disparait et seul le sous-menu appeler reste a l'écran.

Starting advertising never disapears

I stopped using DesktopX because of the annoying ads but I tried to get over it but now the starting advertising never disapears:

Before, I could close it but now I can't since the continue button isn't there. If I click on the buttons, they just disapear (but the ad stay there) and I go to the web page. The only way to hide the ad is to go in build mode and come back in normal mode. Don't tell me to try pro version, it doe...
