I have just switched from Win XP Pro to Win 10 Home and was thinking of downloading Logon Studio and Bootskin Studio. Before I do, I want to know if they are compatible with Win 10 and WB 10.6. Regards X9R.

Hey, Yesterday, I used logonStudio to change my logon background, which it did... however I am now unable to log on to my computer!! There are no user profiles to select from on the logon screen. Creating avatar to fit with background on lock screen?

Is there a way for me to add an avatar picture to my lock screen which fits in with the background image that I have set by LogonStudio? By this I mean having an avatar which completes the background picture. For example my background picture is of two wolves but part of one of the wolve's faces is covered by my old avatar and I'd like to get that part of the image to set as my avatar so it looks as if the background image is complete. I had 1st posted this in the Stardock General Support forum. And it sat there for 3 to 4 days with no answers. I guess I posted my question in the wrong forum. I have a Toshiba Satellite M60 laptop os Xp Pro, sp2. I have most of the LogonStudio figured out except the edit window. I can open the logonui.exe file in the edit window. But that's all. So, today I downloaded LogonStudio and downloaded the Mac OS X Tiger Brushed.logonxp file. I opened LogonStudio and went to load the .logonxp file, but it says LogonStudio was unable to decode this XP logon package. Please rename this file to a .zip and extract the image manually. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

I downloaded the version which states works in windows 7. When I choose one the pre-installed logons and then click apply, the computer locks but the logon screen is exactly how it's always been. I even tried running it as Administrator. Still doesn't work. I've also tried it on my friend's win7 machine, and had the same effect. This hasn't been working for a long time, I know that. This isn't the first time I've tried using it. Either fix it...

When the logon screen comes on the user account selection boxes appear in the center of the screen. This obscures the main image. How do I change the location of the load and user scelection images like is shown on a lot of the previews?

I hope the stardock staff read this. I use logon studio and it works greatly but what id really like is a rotate logon studio option, so it can random select a logon and depending when we log off, it will be totally random, like deskscapes is this possable

I can't seem to see a Theme Manager forum. Is the software discontinued? If so, what replaced it? Anyway. Theme Manager depends on several other programs to skin all the parts of the computer. Mine says that it doesn't have LogonStudio. It's been reinstalled multiple times. The version has been changed once. But I cannot get Theme Manager to find it when skinning. Ok well I just got the program and I changed my logon screen and decided to test it. well what a mistake that was, the screen changed and now there no login fields. The user account and text box are both missing and there no way to revert back. So im stuck at the login screen and cant get back in. Ive tried the double ctrl+alt+dlt twice trick no luck, and Ive looked for the registry key and still no luck. Where are the Logins stored?

I'm running Windows 7 Pro. I found the path of "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\LogonStudio". I had copied all of my logins from XP before I discovered that they are not supported under Windows 7. I deleted all of the files except the defaults and the directory is empty but, they all keep coming back when I select load from within Logon Studio. Where is this looking to, to keep loading them despite the diectory being empty? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I did a sear...

New Logon Themes/Skins

I am running Windows 7 Pro. I installed Logon Studio for Windows 7 with no problem. I have since d/l'd a boatload of skins. However, they do not appear in the list under "My Logon Screens" unles I select load for each and every one in the folder. Why is there no refresh button so this is not necessary? Is there any way to get them to ALL appear without selecting them individually? Thank You

In the years I've been making Logon screens I've noticed that if the mods give a submission 1 star or less, it won't be in the public gallery. I submitted a screen a couple days ago that received 1 1/2 stars but it didn't make the gallery. OK. But I just submitted one that got 3 stars and it still isn't in the public gallery.
