Yesterday I stood up till 5 in the morning just to watch all of the E3 live streams. I enjoyed watching them especially EA´s stream. The organization "One Laptop per Child" has officially teamed with Microsoft in its laptop development. At this point, laptops with Windows installed will cost $18 to $20 extra, but the long term vision is a dual-boot system with boith Linux and Windows. Its now official. CompUSA has pulled out of the retail store business game. But are they a whole new business now that they are online only? The answer is no. Guys, this might seem a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I have Java installed on my PC and there was an update released today to take it up to version 3. I just looked in the list of my installed progs and I noticed that there are three versions siting there and each one is occupying over 100 megs of space. Question - Do I need all three or can I get rid of the two older verions and just keep version three?

I work in phone tech support - and the service that she's gotten would have had a blistering comemnt delivered to me from my manager. OTOH, the company I work for doesn't offshore their tech support, and while I understand there are some outsourced call cetners, they deal with the penny-ante billing BS, not with anything serious.
