Void: Gamersgates new system play games free after watching advertising.

Something new in the digital realm for gamers. Void.

Pretty much you get a limited number of slots. You can choose any game from gamergates Void library and fill those slots. Once you have selected a game you can download it.. watch a few mins of advertising then play it as much as you want. Your stuck with the game until that slot expires and you can then choose another game. But it costs the user nothing.. and there are some interesting games available. (mainly older or less known...

Diablo 3

Diablo 3 launches in about a month. Anyone else have their preorder in? Passed up the collectors edition. Do enjoy old games (Planescape, Age of Wonders...) but have less than zero desire to play Diablo 2.

The real money auction house seems alluring. Time will tell if it's a viable way to make some extra cash or a soon be to tabled feature.

I was thinking about Torchlight 2 vs Diablo..and I was saying to myself..D3 might end up being a very good game but my values as a gamer are violated by the always on internet and real money auction house. So even if D3 ends up being as good as d2 I'll never play it and no one else should either. Whoa...what was that last part? Thats the question.

If a game violates core values is it ok for other people to play it? Other are enablers of said broken values and thus enemies of gaming?

Amplitude Studios, a new games development company based in Paris is developing a new space strategy game called "Endless Space"

Aiming to inherit the values of: Master of Orion, Civilization and to some extent Total War all of that with a strong focus on Multiplayer.

Looks promising & certainly worth checking out.

Well it is about time Stardock forums had its own topic about this upcoming game (it should come out by end of July) that got me excited as soon as I found out about it 3 months ago. It is done by a small indie developer from Croatia.

If I had to describe this game in few words, I would say this is Morrowind meets Diablo + its own unique elements.

Some new information is coming out on a future Fantasy TBS 4X game called Warlock – Master of the Arcane. The game is set in the same world as the Majesty series. There isn't lots of information out, but we do have some WIP screens and concept art. The weird thing to me is that they are saying Q2 2012, but there doesn't even seem to be a site for the game yet, just a tiny forum at Paradox.

This game has been in development for quite a while, but they seem to now have a website up, and a new marketing video. A quick glance indicates heroes, HOMM style tactical combat with city walls and sieges, and hex based, turn based gameplay with city building (which may also be HOMM style).

Before investing my time in a game, first I always check the pulse of the gaming community to see if they like it. But there are times, though, when I think the community is dead wrong (Heroes V, for example: the community gave it mediocre ratings. I thought it was ridiculously addictive). As far as I can tell it's attempting to be as close a clone as possible while touching up (but not straying from) the art of the original. While the screenshots from the game's website don't show you a whole lot, this pic from an article is what really caught my eye:

As the title says, Conquest Vyrium Uprising has been announced on Kickstarter, the devs seek 675 000 dollars for them to finish the game, which is apparently halfway done. If you remember the original CFW, which was IMHO superb game, dont hesitate to support them.
