So many poor children get hardly any access to a decent meal, heal...

<pubDateParsed>2006-09-24T04:43:46-04:00</pubDateParsed>
Who says there is global village and info superhighway?

Before there were blogs there was Usenet and before Usenet there were BBSes. And from the very start, there have always been hyper-aggressive people who take out their own personal frustrations on the world at large. There aren't many of them, but there doesn't have to be. Just the few that are out there are enough to bring grief to other people. Being on-line as much as I am, using my real name, has made me a target of griefers over the years. When I ran BBSes 15 years ago, I occasionally ha...

<pubDateParsed>2006-09-23T02:33:45-04:00</pubDateParsed>
Net cowards

Woopie!!!!! MSN's new prototype relevant search engines goes live. You can check it out here to see how it works, but still needs a lot of help , but I'm sure the engine will get better over time. Plus, on how the MSN beta search works you can check it out here. http://search.msn.com/webmasters/msnbot.aspx So, the mystery of what freaking bot is this on my spider stats is now unveiled. Not really impressed, but it's good...

<pubDateParsed>2004-11-15T08:02:15-05:00</pubDateParsed>
MSN ProtoType goes live.

I found a tool from an outfit called MAPILab that allows you to integrate NNTP newsgroups into outlook. I'm not too terribly clear on whether they have built-in purging of messages or not - I turned to the autoarchive tool to do that for me. I'll post back in a few days afte...

<pubDateParsed>2004-10-30T14:02:58-04:00</pubDateParsed>
NNTP for Outlook
